Author's note: Hope everyone enjoyed seeing Izuku's power in action during the exam, I enjoyed writing it and look forward to writing more in the future, as well as developing Izuku's fighting style. After all, as we've seen in the show, Izuku is a master of seeing techniques and working them into his own.
The wind whistled through the young man's messy green hair as he held the girl in his arms and smiled at her. "It's okay, you're safe now." He told her.
The girl looked up at him with a slightly starry-eyed expression on her face. She'd thought she been a goner back there with that huge zero-pointer bearing down on her, but the boy from earlier had teleported in so quickly and rescued her, they were even outside of the general testing area and were near the buses.
It was then that she noticed how the boy had been carrying her, bridal-style, and as her gaze shifted from the boy around her to look where they were, she did notice that they were standing in front of the group of examinees that had ran from the huge robot, all looking surprised and amazed to see the boy teleport in front of them.
She felt her face turn a hot red as she used her hands to cover her face. "T-Thank you! P-Please put me down now!" She said through her hands, voiced slightly muffled.
"Huh?" Izuku said as he looked at her, his expression slightly confused before the realization came to him. "Oh! Right! Sorry!" He said as he slowly lowered her down to the ground to sit.
The boy laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his head, his own face a deep shade of red. "S-Sorry about that! I just had to get you out of there quick and I wasn't really thinking there, you know, just doing! Did you see that robot? I mean it was big! Well of course you saw it, I mean it was right in front of you!" He laughed nervously and spoke pretty quickly.
It was then that he felt a sharp pain to the back of his leg like he'd been smacked with something, letting out a slight yelp before looking down to see an old lady with a cane that looked like a syringe.
"Young man, if you're just going around popping up all over the place, the least you could do is give someone some warning. You almost gave this old lady a heart attack!" Said the old woman with an only moderately annoyed tone.
Izuku blinked. "A-Ah, sorry." He said, bowing slightly. He then got a good look at her. With the goggles and coat, plus the hero uniform underneath, he could only assume she was a pro. "Wait…"
"I know you!" Izuku said with a grin. "You're the Youthful Heroine: Recovery Girl!" He said excitedly.
The old lady smiled. "Yes, yes, no need to shout young man. I'm the school's nurse. I came to heal the examinees after the practical was over, looks like you beat the others to the punch though, I still had a minute or so before it ended."
Izuku blinked again, panic setting in on him after the adrenaline ran out. "A minute or so?! Geez! I only had 32 points before that giant monster showed up! I got to get back in there and get a few more!"
Izuku looked up back at the entrance exam arena and saw the top of a tall building. He could teleport back up there and scan around for some other bots to take down, and hopefully avoid the rampage of the zero-pointer. Izuku got down in a crouch, one hand planted firmly on the ground and the other extended out to his side, ready to jump back into the fray…
"And time's up!" Present Mic's voice called out loudly, causing Izuku to fall forward onto his face in shock. Turns out Recovery Girl's minute was more like only a few seconds.
"Damn it…" Izuku muttered to himself as he picked himself up and sat down on the ground.
"I'm sorry about that." The pink-cheeked girl said. "If I hadn't gotten myself trapped back there you wouldn't have had to jump in to save me and could've gotten a few more points…"
Izuku laughed a bit and rubbed his head. "Oh, it's no worries, really! After all, I couldn't just let you get crushed by that giant robot! I'm sure 32 points is good enough…" He said, though a bit nervously.
Recovery Girl stepped over beside the pink-cheeked girl and looked her over. "Oh, don't worry about him. I'm sure he'll be fine." She said in a slightly knowing way that puzzled the two. "Let's worry more about your situation here."
Recovery Girl examined the girl and looked at her leg, nodding a bit to herself. "Not broken, thankfully, but you had a pretty bad sprain there. Nothing that I can't fix though." The old lady extended her lips out and pressed them firmly on the girl's forehead. "Smoooooch!"
In just a moment, the girl's leg was all better, and the other cuts and bruises were gone as well. "Wow! That's amazing, thank you!" The pink-cheeked girl said.
"That's her Quirk. She has a super healing factor. I didn't know for sure before, but she must be the reason they can have such dangerous exams here without worrying too much about damages." Izuku said, fanboying a bit as the old lady looked at him.
"Yes, yes, that's enough about me. What about you? Any injuries?" The old heroine asked the green-haired youth.
Izuku blinked a bit then began to unwrap his hands and feet to check. He definitely busted his knuckles up something fierce from punching those robots after he came out of a jump. He also had some minor cuts on his feet from glass, metal, and just general debris created from all the battles. A quick look from Recovery Girl told him not to worry much about those though since it didn't seem any debris was stuck in them. He also lifted his shirt to reveal a fairly nasty bruise on his ribs from when he'd first attacked a two-pointer. It was then he learned, the hard way, that the metal on their neck was slightly denser, as he had slammed the metal plate from a one-pointer into its neck and gotten stuck. He had taken a fairly brutal tail whip in the side for that miscalculation but he recovered it by teleporting above and slamming his feet down into it to sever the head.
"Some pretty minor cuts and scrapes from the battle, but that bruise would definitely leave you feeling pretty beat up over the next few days…" She said as she touched it to check, although it pained the boy for her to do so, she found that thankfully none were broken. "Nothing's broken, thankfully." She told him before planting a kiss to his forehead to heal him.
The old heroine smiled at them then reached into her pocket, pulling out a handful of gummy bears and handed a few to both of them. "There you both go. Now don't eat those all at once now. I have to go check on the others now." She told them with a smile before walking off.
"Thank you!" Izuku and the girl told her, before slowly turning to look at each other.
"Did she really just give us gummy bears?" Izuku asked the girl.
"Yeah… straight out of her pocket…" The girl said as they looked at each other. Both making a silent vow that, despite the nice gesture, they were not about to eat them.
It was then that a few others came over to talk to them. "Oh man! You're something else guy. The way you teleported in there and came right back in a flash. It was totally amazing!" One of the other examinees told him. "Yeah, you really kicked ass out there, I could hardly keep up with you! You act like a gun-shy weirdo but you're a pretty amazing dude!"
Izuku wasn't sure how to handle all this praise, just rubbing his head and laughing some. "W-Wow, umm, thanks guys. B-But all of you have such amazing powers too! I'd love to learn more about them! Normally I watch a lot of what others can do, but with the exam I had to keep moving so…" He started but was soon interrupted as a blonde boy wearing a white dress shirt and a pretty fancy belt came up beside him.
"That was a pretty dazzling performance, mon ami. I dare say you may have even outshined my performance out there. You also seem to make quite the dashing impression on… certain others.." The boy said with a slightly mischievous grin, eyes briefly glancing to the girl before back to Izuku. "I'll look forward to meeting you again. Au revoir!" The boy then ran off to the bus to get shuttled back to U.A, leaving Izuku… well slightly confused.
"What a strange boy…" Izuku thought to himself, though for some reason an image of glass houses passed through his mind and some phrase he couldn't exactly recall right now. He was tired, and the exams were currently up in the air. All he could do now was go home… and pray it seemed..
One week later…
It was late at night, Izuku and Inko Midoriya had sat down to dinner, but Izuku found himself mentally replaying the events of the practical exam in his head. Did he do well enough? If he didn't, then where did he go wrong?
"What could I have done different?" He thought silently to himself. "By all accounts, I feel like I did fairly well in the written portion of the exam, but with a score of 32 points in the practical it still feels up in the air. Others got scores as high as the 40s or more, and there was no telling how high Bakugo got during his. I believe I used my power to the fullest, I covered more ground than probably any other participant. However, while I'm very versatile and hard to attack, I don't deal a lot of damage. That improvised weapon from the one-pointer helped me… but I'll have to look into alternatives. More strength training, that should also be added to my list."
Izuku rambled internally like that for several minutes to himself while staring at the fish head and absent-mindedly smiled. "Perhaps I could have gotten at least a few more points if I hadn't rushed in to save that girl." He shook his head a bit. "No, like I told her, it was the right call. Who knows how seriously hurt she could have been if I hadn't intervened. My body just moved on its own in the end, I couldn't just watch her get hurt for the sake of getting more points. I wouldn't be able to ever call myself a hero if I did that."
"Izuku…" His mother said as she watched her son continue smiling at the fish he'd been staring at for a few minutes.
"Funny, I don't think I ever got her name…" Izuku thought to himself as he replayed the rescue mentally in his head, as well as the slightly awkward position he had held her in when he had teleported out of danger. "I'm fairly certain I took a straight jump from where she was to the front of the crowd. That could've been dangerous, I don't like normally jumping when I can't see where I'll end up. It took me months to get comfortable making one jump from Takoba Municipal Beach to Mr. Satou's junkyard, and even then I stuck to the alley nearby, yet I jumped with no hesitation. Maybe I'm overthinking my jumps a bit, I should take a few more risks with my jumps and get better with them. Probably still best not to blindly jump to places I haven't been before."
"Izuku!" Inko Midoriya said as she worriedly looked at her son.
"H-Huh?" Izuku said as he snapped out of his daze.
"Why are you smiling at that fish? Should I be worried about you honey?" Inko asked her son with a worried tone.
"N-No mom, I'm alright, sorry. I just spaced out there for a minute thinking about my exam is all." Izuku told her, doing his best to sound upbeat.
"I know waiting for the results is terrible." Inko Midoriya said with a reassuring tone. "But I'm sure you did great, and no matter what the result is, I'm proud of you for trying honey." She told him with a kind smile.
Izuku returned the smile to her. "Thanks mom."
It was then that the two heard the front door open, which was strange since… well… they were really the only two who lived here. Izuku stood up from the table and was going to walk into the hallway to see who it was when a slender man with shabby black hair that was peppered with grey poked his head out from around the corner.
"Guess who's home!?" Said the man with a grin.
"Dad!" Izuku said, moving back slightly in surprise first before moving to hug the taller man.
"Hisashi!" Inko said, getting up to greet her husband with a hug and kiss, the man hugging them both and Inko nearly crying a river with happiness to see her husband back home.
Hisashi was a very slender man, in a way kind of like Midoriya. He also had that same type of restless bedhair that seemed traditional now to the Midoriya men, though his was dark black and only slightly peppered with grey due to age and stress. On his face was a very slight stubble, probably from working too many late nights without shaving much. He wore a plain dress shirt with the two top buttons mismatched and black dress pants with matching shoes. At his side was a case which Izuku knew contained his dad's hero suit.
Quickly Inko got together another plate of food for Hisashi as he sat down at the table to join his family, Inko and Izuku doing their best to fill him in on what had been going on recently. They talked to him about once a week or so on the phone or through video chat but it never hurt to relay stuff again to the man since he always seemed to be running ragged in the calls they had with him.
"Wow, the U.A Entrance Exams sound intense." Hisashi remarked as he filled his mouth with food.
"Hisashi! I know it's been almost a year since you were back in Japan but remember your table manners!" Inko chided slightly.
Hisashi nearly choked on food, putting the bowl down and beating his chest slightly before taking a drink of water to flush it down and sighing.
"Sorry honey, it's just been so long since I had your cooking. Over there, I'm basically stuck eating cold noodles and pizza at a desk when I'm filing paperwork, and if it isn't that then it's food from a sidewalk café, which I don't even get to finish half the time since another crime usually happens just as soon as I start eating." Hisashi complained a bit.
Inko pursed her lips a bit. "Still honey, try to eat a bit more slowly. Set a good example for Izuku, please."
"Mom, I'm 15. I'm not 5 anymore." Izuku said as he sat his bowl down.
"You're right." Hisashi said, setting his food down. "Izuku, if you're going to eat quickly, always remember to keep water nearby in case you start choking like I did. That's a very important lesson."
Both Hisashi and Izuku laughed a bit but Inko didn't find it very amusing.
After their livelier than usual dinner, Inko gathered the plates and began the dishes. Hisashi had insisted that he and Izuku help Inko but she told them to relax, especially since Hisashi had just gotten back.
Izuku and Hisashi sat at the dining room table, Izuku absent-mindedly using his hand grip strengthener as well as curling a small dumbbell with his tail.
While at home, Izuku felt no need to wear the image inducing watch. His parents already knew what he looked like and never seemed to treat him any differently regardless of whether he wore it or not, they loved him, no matter if he was a pale skinned boy with freckles or a blue furred boy with pointy ears. He did startle Inko pretty regularly if he sat in a dark room when she suddenly turned on the lights since he blended in with the shadows so well that she had no idea he had even been in there, it was just something the two got use to as a habit.
Izuku relayed to his father the several months of training he went through as Hisashi took out a piece of nicotine gum and began to chew on a piece after peeling it from the wrapper. Over in America, he had picked up a bad habit of smoking, which he claimed actually helped his fire breathing powers. However, Inko had a very strict rule about smoking in the house, Izuku wasn't even allowed to teleport in the house due to the smoke he created. Hisashi played with the wrapper in his fingers as he chewed the gum and listened.
"Wow, that's good that Mr. Satou was so understanding about you using your powers. I have half a mind to scold you right now for doing that." Hisashi said with a fatherly glare which softened. "But you do need to train your powers, and cleaning Takoba is as noble an excuse as I've ever heard. I'll have to stop by there and check it out with you some time, perhaps give Mr. Satou a thanks as well before I go."
"How long are you home for anyway?" Izuku asked his father.
Hisashi held up two fingers. "Just a little over two weeks. I saved time up and had to get some of the newer guys to pull shifts for me to pull the strings, but I'd been away from home for far too long. I needed to get back here."
Izuku bit his lip a bit. He knew his father had taken that stressful job over there to help pay for the image inducer, but it had been nearly seven years since they'd taken the loan and bought it, how much longer did they have to pay?
"Umm, hey Dad?" Izuku said as he looked at him.
Hisashi raised an eyebrow. "Something's eating at you. What's up?"
Izuku sat the grip strengthener down, though his tail continued curling the small weight as he talked. "Have you considered taking a hero role back here in Japan?" He asked, slightly nervous.
Izuku could hear that Inko was now only pretending to wash the dishes as she listened to Hisashi's answer as well. Izuku had amazing hearing, and he had learned pretty well what the sound of his mother's cleaning sounded like versus her fake cleaning when she wanted to be nosey.
Hisashi chewed the gum as he sat back in the chair, leaning it back a bit and holding the table. "I have, and with my American experience now I could probably get a decent job somewhere, though there aren't many around here willing to give up a number one sidekick position and even fewer offering near the amount I make now. A Japanese Pro working out of New York draws attention, you know, even over there. It creates a rather sizeable paycheck that a lot of Japanese agencies aren't willing to match."
"I see…" Izuku said as he thought. "How much longer… is the loan on the watch?" He asked, that part making him particularly nervous to ask. Ever since his talk with All-Might, he'd been wondering, could he really be a hero who didn't hide his true appearance from others? He had hope… but if he gave up wearing the image inducer, would that make all his father's hard work and his mother's sacrifices worthless? Could he really just say he'd stop wearing it to them?
Hisashi rubbed his scratchy chin a bit. He could pretty much tell what his son was thinking. His son's transformation wasn't like the others. The change wasn't something he had from the beginning but rather awoke when his powers did, and he knew it was hard, especially since he had heard from some of the other Mutant types he worked with the type of crap they had to deal with in their lives just for looking different. Back then, Inko and Hisashi always tried to make him feel like he wasn't any different, but that didn't seem to help the matter, and it felt like their son was slowly folding in on himself more and more, even becoming less outgoing with his friends.
That was around the time that Hisashi had contracted a Support company to make a watch to change his son's appearance to be like before his Quirk awakened. The tech was new and expensive, and required a rather sizeable loan which meant Hisashi had to take a better paying job somewhere far away just to afford, working his ass off to do it, but he'd do anything for his son just to help him feel comfortable in his own skin again.
In his heart, Hisashi had hoped Izuku wouldn't need to wear it like he did. He had always hoped he'd feel comfortable without it, but he knew that Izuku pretty much wore it all the time except around them if what Inko told him was any indication. He could tell though; something was changing. Izuku had a look in his eye now that made him believe it could be possible, that his son could finally move past that.
Hisashi looked aside and make a raspberry sound. "Pshh, that old thing. I practically got it paid off now. Just a few more here and there, no need to worry about that." He said confidently. It wasn't an entire lie, the loan was pretty well paid, but he did have some fairly sizeable payments left, which means he couldn't quit that American job just yet.
Izuku just blinked at his father's nonchalance, idly still curling the weight with his tail.
"The important thing here…" Hisashi said as he leaned forward. "Is that you said you rescued a girl, huh?" Hisashi said with a grin.
That changed the mood entirely as Izuku flushed some. "W-What? W-Well yeah, but you know, it was nothing. That's just what heroes do, help others who need it. Honestly dad I didn't even get her name!"
Inko smiled to herself a bit and finished cleaning, drying off her hands and gathering up some stuff she needed.
"Sure, that's how it starts." Hisashi said with a smile. "But let your old man tell you something, Izuku, ladies love a flashy hero." Hisashi said confidently.
Inko walked to the door and spoke without missing a beat. "Not all of them, that's why I married you sweety." Inko, despite her worried appearance most of the time when concerned with Izuku, could snap back at her husband rather aggressively with her silver tongue.
Hisashi sat forward and coughed, actually breathing up some fire into his fist as he cleared his throat and looked to Izuku stifling a laugh. "You didn't hear that." Hisashi told Izuku who finally burst out alongside Hisashi.
Inko smiled widely as she heard them and got her shoes on to go pass out some stuff to the neighbors as part of her duty to the community as a member of the neighborhood. She then checked their mail and discovered a rather hefty envelop with a wax seal, stating it was from U.A. Inko's eyes widened greatly as she saw it.
As the two Midoriya men settled down, they could hear Inko's voice from the hall.
"Izuku! Izuku!" She said in a panic as she came back in the room actually crawling in a hurry and holding the letter out. "It's here! The letter!" She spoke.
Izuku got up and took the letter from her, eyeing it nervously before vanishing in a plume of blue smoke back into his room, the door closing and locking behind him.
"Izuku!" Inko said. "No teleporting in the house!" She chided, though she could understand in this one instance. Her son must feel like his stomach is tied in knots just waiting for the results.
…
At least five minutes had passed since Izuku had teleported back into his room with the letter. In the hallway of the Midoriya apartment, Inko fidgeted nervously back and forth outside in anticipation.
"Honey, just relax. Izuku will come out and tell us in no time how he did." Hisashi said.
Inko stopped and looked at him, narrowing her eyes. "You've got your ear pushed up against his door!" She said in a hushed whisper.
Hisashi blinked and flushed slightly. "N-No, I'm just… checking for termites…" He said, pretending to listen really closely before standing straight up. "Nope, no termites."
Inko crossed her arms as she looked at him. "Termites huh?" She said in a deadpan tone as Hisashi rubbed the back of his head.
"You know, maybe we should just wait in the living room." Hisashi said. Inko nodded, albeit reluctantly and walked away from the door so that her son could open the letter without their nervous energy getting to him.
In the room, Izuku sat staring at the envelope. He had been so nervous just waiting for this thing… and now that it was here he was twice as nervous.
Finally, out of frustration, Izuku ripped the letter open straight down the middle. A small metal disk dropped out of the envelope and onto his work desk.
Soon a projection shot up and illuminated the dark room. "Booyah! I am here, as a projection!" said the booming voice as the image of All Might appeared on the screen.
Izuku jumped up with surprise. "A-All Might?!" He said to himself.
"Yes, All Might!" Said the image on the screen, flexing his arms.
"W-Wait, isn't this from U.A?!" Izuku asked himself as he looked at the wax stamp. Sure enough, U.A's symbol was etched into the wax.
"Izuku Midoriya…" The voice of All Might said as he stood triumphantly in the projection, wearing a very garish yellow suit. "That is a name I haven't forgotten, young man. You told me you wanted to be a great hero, so that means that only naturally our paths would cross again."
All Might then raised a hand. "The truth is, I'm not just in town to stop evildoers in their tracks! I actually came to town because I, All Might, will be the newest teacher at U.A!"
Izuku's eyes widened. "N-No way, A-All Might…. teaching at U.A?!"
All Might kept that trademark smile on his face. "That's right!" A hand came into frame and made a few motions at All Might. "Huh?! Get to the point?! Oh, right!"
"Izuku Midoriya, you received a very good grade on the written portion of your exam. You also received 32 villain points during your practical. I am sorry to say however, 32 is just below the acceptable number for admission into the hero course."
Izuku felt his heart sink at that, his head tilting down then as he looked at his legs and gripped them tightly. "Damn it… I knew it… I was too slow… or maybe I wasn't strong enough… My fighting style was amateurish and sloppy… I'm a failure…"
The voice of All Might rang out through the screen. "However, there are other factors to the exam!" He said, holding up a remote and pointing to a screen. "Allow me to entertain you!"
Izuku looked back up to the screen to see the brown haired, pink-cheeked girl he had saved. "Huh, that girl…" He said as he watched.
"Excuse me, do you have a sec.." She said to someone off camera.
"She came to see us after the test ended! You may be asking you why?! Well, stay tuned!" All Might said as the girl began motioning somewhat to her hair as she spoke to Present Mic.
"You know that boy with the messy green hair.." She said as she motioned around her head like she was miming Izuku's hair. "You know, pale, has freckles. It's kinda hard to describe his face.." She thought back to when he saved her, mentally replaying in her head the moment she looked up to see him smile at her. She quickly shook her head, kind of flushed in the cheeks. "A bit plain looking, you know? Doesn't really stand out."
Izuku blinked a bit as he watched. "Yeah, she's talking about me."
"I was wondering, would it be possible to give him some of my points?" The girl asked Present Mic, Izuku's eyes widened as he heard that.
"It's just, out there he was really amazing. Sure, he couldn't take down whole groups like I could by just floating them up in the air and dropping them but from what I saw he could move quickly and take down the smaller ones in a flash. I know he could've gotten even more points before the exam ended, he said he wanted to get more even when that giant zero-pointer was destroying the city… but he couldn't get more because I got trapped, and even knowing it would hurt his own score he ran back in to pull me out of danger. I just know he would've gotten even more points if it weren't for me. It doesn't seem right to not repay him in some way for saving me!" The girl said.
All Might paused the video and smiled at the camera. "Izuku Midoriya, you asked me if it was possible for you to become a hero even with your appearance. Even though this girl only saw the disguise you wore, that girl recognized your heroism through your actions, she was even willing to give up her own points just to repay you. This is your startling line, young man. You can achieve your goal, you've already started. You saved her… and you did it with a smile on your face!" All Might held a thumbs up as Izuku couldn't help but smile. That felt good. He had, at least partially, done what he wanted. There was that nagging thought though… would the girl have been so kind if she did know what he looked like. She seemed kind-hearted, he believed, or rather he hoped, that if she saw the true him that she'd still feel the same way about him as she does now.
"You see…" All Might continued. "The exam isn't based solely on the villain-points you accrue!"
Izuku stood from his chair as he saw the video continue.
"Thanks for your request, little listener, but we can't give him your points." Present Mic told the girl as he patted her head. "There's no need to give him your points, the kid's charting well on his own."
All Might stepped in front of the video with a smile. "No hero course could reject someone who is committed to saving others, no matter the consequences to himself. A hero course that would reject those for doing the right thing is no hero course at all! That is what makes a hero, the ability to face the odds no matter the cost! That is where our rescue points come in!"
All Might smiled as he continued to speak. "A panel of judges oversee the events of the practical and award points for heroic deeds. For your heroic rescue, you've been awarded 50 hero points!"
A scoreboard was then shown, which actually showed Izuku Midoriya was in first place! He had 32 villain points, as well as his 50 hero points for his rescue of the girl, giving him a total of 82 total points on his exam. Izuku couldn't even believe it. Of course, he took notice of the name just below his own… Katsuki Bakugo in second place. Izuku couldn't believe that. His score had actually been better than Bakugo's, granted though, Bakugo's score was solely villain points while Izuku's was mostly hero points, but still. He'd actually gotten a win over Bakugo, albeit indirectly. That felt… odd… to say the least. But wait… that meant…
All Might then continued. "Izuku Midoriya… congratulations…" All Might then held his hand out to the screen. "Welcome… to your hero academia!"
…
In the living room, Hisashi and Inko both glanced nervously toward their son's room but tried to focus their attention back on the television. Soon though, they heard the door open, and Izuku walked into the living room with a fairly neutral expression on his face. Both parents quickly stood up but didn't say a word, wondering what the result was.
Izuku then held his arms up high in the air and yelled out. "I passed!" He said excitedly.
Inko sniffled slightly then cried with relief, a flood of water escaping out of their open window. "Oh, my baby!" She cried happily.
Beside her, Hisashi flexed his arms and breathed a heavy plume of fire up at the ceiling. Thankfully pretty much everything in their house was fireproof. "That's my boy!" He said excitedly.
"Not only that… but I got the highest score on the practical!" Izuku told them, both the waterworks and fireworks doubling up with pride before Izuku got his parents under control.
"Time to celebrate!" Hisashi said as he wrapped his arm around his son. "Our boy's going to U.A!"
The family then spent a rather lively night celebrating Izuku's entrance to U.A.
