Chapter 1: Escape from New York
Introduction
A man named Oliver Queen/Green Arrow and his companions Kara Zor-el/Supergirl and Barry Allen/The Flash had to escape from New York because now that The Defenders took over New York. Can they escape their fate, not to mention that the Avengers and the Defenders are in battle against each other?
The chapter begins
At The Defenders HQ, Oliver Green/Green Arrow is inside with The Defenders (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Iron Fist.)
"You won't get away with this." said Oliver
"Wanna bet, the cops are on their way to arrest you, they will hurt you bad for hurting our tough men." said Jessica
"I promise you this, one way or another, I will strike you down" Said Green Arrow as he took one of the tough men's staff and he crushed them one by one, he tried to throw it at Jessica but then Luke Cage sliced it in half. Only for Oliver to take advantage and escape.
Meanwhile outside, The Flash and Supergirl were waiting for Green Arrow to escape.
"Is he ok in there?" asked Kara
"It's going to take more than what's inside to kill him." Said Barry
Oliver got out but then some of the tough men chased after him.
"Looks like it didn't go so well." said Kara shot heat vision at the tough men, She shot most of them without hurting Oliver
"Is the escape plan ready?" Asked Green Arrow
"The preparations are complete, but we must make haste." Said Supergirl
"Let's get a move on then." Said Green Arrow
The escape battle begins.
Green Arrow and his team began the retreat, The Defenders are going to stop at nothing to ensure that Green Arrow meets his end. As the retreat continued, Green Arrow and his troops made it to the bridge, Wanda Maximoff was guarding the bridge, she works for the Avengers. The cops that serve The Defenders and some of the tough men were going to cross, but then she destroyed the bridge.
"No one's getting through here, no one, anyone who wants to get through here, the only payment is death." Said Wanda
The morale of the tough men and the business cops is dropping.
As the battle continues, it seems as if The Defenders want Green Arrow to escape. We don't know for sure because some of the student generals haven't shown up yet, and I spoke too soon. The main unit led by Thor and his brother Loki arrived.
"The end is near, find Green Arrow and end his life." said Thor
"Thor? But I thought he was an avenger? Why did he become a defender?" Asked Oliver
This retreat battle is really getting interesting. But then Incredible Hulk came from the cliff and blocked his path.
"Green Arrow, stay here, Green Arrow die." Said The Hulk
"Get out of my way, this is no time for this, how many former Avengers became Defenders?" Asked Oliver
Then Clint Barton/Hawkeye joins in.
"I spoke too soon." Said Oliver
"We have to hurry." Said Barry
This battle didn't last long, they defeated him and they advanced forward. They were close to the dock. But then was blocked by Spider-Man. But then the battle lasted for a minute.
The retreat was successful.
A few minutes later. Green Arrow's forces were able to flee from Canada.
"Talk about a mad state." said Wanda
"At least we were able to escape." Said Oliver
"You're going to need more allies if we're going to battle The Defenders." Said Barry
"Let's just find a place where it's safe for the time being." Said Oliver
"Where are we supposed to go?" asked Kara
"Join us and the Avengers." Said Wanda
"The Defenders might find us." Said Kara
"Do you know that?" Asked Oliver
"I don't think so." Said Kara
"Then don't assume then." Said Wanda
"But it's true that The Avengers and The Defenders are battling each other." Said Barry
"Either way, we see the Avengers or else the Defenders catch us and will make mincemeat of us." Said Oliver
"Let's move." Said Kara
Oliver and his team have a long way to go if they're going to defeat The Defenders. Will he be able to defeat them? Find out in the story.
Next time on The True Avengers, Oliver found refuge in The Avengers, he then attempts to recruit Evil Queen's daughter Evie, Dinah Lance/Black Canary, and Shuri but finds out that someone is controlling them, who could it be? . Will they be willing to join Green Arrow? Find out in the next Chapter.
