Aurora was both flabbergasted and apprehensive. It had been two days. Two days, and no news, no sign whatsoever from Phillip.

First, she had found herself relieved from a very heavy burden that weighted painfully on her shoulders – and that she was not aware of before it went away – but now, she was anxious that the man would come back, more violent and vehement than ever. And she would sooner die than live through that again.

So when she woke up on the third day and went to sit at the staff canteen at 8am, it was with blurred eyes and an unparalleled headache. And so, when someone slid into the seat before her, she did not bother to look up.

"I don't quite understand how the princess called Sleeping Beauty seems to be the one getting the less sleep," said a low, neutral voice.

"Maleficent," she hissed as she pressed a hand to her forehead, "this is not the time to mess around, I swear..."

"Fair enough. I'll let Maleficent know then, I suppose," answered the voice that was indeed slightly lighter than Maleficent's, Aurora noticed.

It was then that Aurora finally looked up, and gasped with shame. Before her sat a tall, blue-clad woman with a blond-white braid, arms crossed under her breast, cold blue eyes assessing her with a mix of disdain and amusement, and one very much defined arched blank eyebrow.

"Oh, Elsa. I'm so sorry, I thought–"

"–I were Maleficent," supplied the Frozen woman. "Yes, I am aware. I'd say I am flattered."

Aurora blinked at her in disbelief. "Really? You are?"

"Yes." Elsa responded with calm ease as she dipped her lips into her iced tea. "Maleficent has manners. She is also strong, independent. She possesses so great powers that she is feared by everyone who meets her, and the most incredible is that she doesn't even care."

"I thought you let it go, too."

A deep sigh brought Aurora's gaze up in time to see Elsa closing her eyes and applying her forefinger to the bridge of her nose.

"If someone else says that joke to me again, I swear to God," she began slowly, grimly, "I will freeze this whole damn park over, and I'll leave you all to die by cold, without ever looking back."

"Hey, cool down." The expression won Aurora a new piercing gaze. "Alright, I'll stop. But still– says the girl who talked about sleep with Sleeping Beauty."

A short silence materialized Elsa's hesitation.

"Fair enough." The Snow Queen conceded eventually.

"Hm. So, did you want to tell me something, Elsa?"

"Not at all. However, I must say I'm quite worried. I know I shouldn't talk about that with you, but... Have you been getting enough sleep lately, Aurora?" Elsa leant forward, concern shining in her blazing blue eyes, and strangely enough, Aurora found it heart-warming. "I heard Jasmine and Belle talking about you. They are worried too. They said they have been sitting with you every morning, but you did not say a word. Instead, your mind seemed to be drifting off far, far away. Is everything alright?"

Aurora found she could not help but smile sincerely.

"Thank you, Elsa, really. But I am fine, I assure you. I am just a little... unsettled, because I didn't get to see my ex-boyfriend – I mean, Prince Phillip – in two days. He missed several meetings at the Castle, two Parades, one night show, and I could go on."

"Oh, yes. I've heard about that, as well." Elsa nodded tersely. "I believe Flynn Rider would be aware of his whereabouts. You should ask him." She then scanned the room and froze suddenly. "Ah, there he is. Flynn Rider." She raised a hand to the man who was about to throw his garbage into a nearby can. "Would you please come over here?"

The chestnut-haired boy raised his head at Elsa's call, and as soon as his eyes met the sight of the Frozen Queen, he smiled from ear to ear. In no time, he was standing before the two blondes.

"Hello there, Queenie," he addressed Elsa with a wink – to which she answered with a cool scowl –, and then turned to Aurora. "Hi, Aurora."

"Hello, Flynn." Aurora started hesitantly, unsure of what his ex's friend would know about their breakup. "I didn't see Phillip in days, and he missed two Parades already. Do you know where he's been?"

"You don't know?" Flynn lay wide eyes on her. "He resigned three days ago. After you two broke up actually. That ended up quite badly, by the way, I'm sorry for you two." And the wide eyes narrowed to form a sad, sympathetic look.

"Oh. I see." Aurora murmured, eyes falling to her hot chocolate, lost in thought. "Thank you, Flynn. But why is it that there was no replacement yet? I can't really continue parading, smiling and dancing with myself every day."

"Let me think..." Flynn looked down to the table, hand lifting to scratch at this chin. "I know a pal who could replace him, temporarily. Walter said there would be a new Phillip next week anyway, so you won't have to wait for long. There's just tomorrow and Friday left."

"Oh, that would be great. Thank you very much, Flynn."

"My pleasure, Beauty," he responded with yet another wink, that left Aurora perfectly impervious. "So, you'll meet your temporary Phillip at 2:45, just before the Parade starts. See y'a later, Beauty!"

He did not wait for an answer to turn around, and walk away. Already, Aurora had reported her attention on her royal companion.

"Thank you for your help, Elsa. Sincerely."

"It was nothing. I–" She interrupted herself as a loud vibrating sound echoed from under the table. Frowning, Elsa looked down and let out a phone from her robe pocket. "Ah, I'm sorry, Princess Aurora." She sighed as she straightened up, readying herself to leave. "What serves as my sister just texted me. Apparently, there is yet another issue with Rapunzel. I should get going. I shall see you soon, I suppose." And with a rigid smile, Elsa whirled around. "Oh, and please send my regards to Maleficent."

"Oh, er... Yes, I... I'll do that. Bye, Elsa." Aurora sputtered, surprisingly caught off guard by such a simple request.

Does Elsa and Maleficent know each other? Or was it merely courtesy?

Maybe they're friends. I wouldn't know, I've only been here for a few weeks. But...

Are they simply acquaintances, or are they more than that? Friends, perhaps? Or...

Aurora felt an odd lump of raw energy and tension build up in her lower belly, and she immediately recognized it as it was.

Wait. Why am I even wondering about that? Why should I care, anyway?

Am I... jealous?

Aurora widened her eyes in painful acknowledgment.

Oh, God forbids. But I am!

Aurora stood on her Parade float, shifting her weight from one foot to the other nervously, looking around her every two minutes. One person quickly remarked her uneasiness, and soon enough, a cool hand landed on her shoulder.

"Why so anxious, princess?" Maleficent said, very low, into her ear.

The Sleeping Beauty willed herself not to startle, and for once, she managed to conceal her surprise as she threw a glance above her shoulder.

"I was told someone would come to replace Phillip for the Parade, but so far, no one has come."

"Now, now," Maleficent chuckled deeply and slowly, the sound causing goosebumps to rise on Aurora's arms, "be patient, princess. It is only 2:40, after all. I am sure whoever you are waiting for will no doubt show their face at 2:45. Just. As. Planned."

"If you say so." Aurora groaned in response.

"You should have asked me, you know." Maleficent's voice was nothing more than a whisper when she let her thin hand slid down Aurora's blonde hair.

"What?" asked the princess, frowning in incomprehension, but she didn't dare to move, in case the hand would withdraw, and if she was sure of anything at the moment, it was that she did not want that. "Ask you what?"

"Why, but to replace your dear prince, of course."

"To replace... But... But you, I mean, I..." She stuttered miserably. "But who would play Maleficent, then?"

"Ah, yes, Maleficent, indeed." The dark woman admitted in a sigh, as if remembering an upsetting detail she would rather forget. "Do you really think every story needs a villain, princess?"

"Well, maybe not every story." Aurora retorted, finding new vigor in her tone, as she finally turned around to face the fairy. She raised her head, causing gleaming purple eyes to lock with black. "But Sleeping Beauty surely needs one. Without Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty is nothing. Actually... I am nothing."

"You flatter me, princess." Maleficent quirked one elegant eyebrow, and her lips curled up into a much satisfied grin. "The way you are talking about Maleficent's role – my role – you make it sound as if you would rather choose to keep Maleficent by your side, instead of Prince Phillip." She said, voice sugary sweet as she lifted a hand to stroke the princess' cheek.

"Oh, but I would," answered Aurora, slightly short of breath as she found herself compelled to close her eyes when Maleficent caressed her skin with such delicacy and slowness.

"Oh, really?" And Maleficent's voice was now echoing from a mere inch away from Aurora's lips, causing them to tremble as her breath merged with Maleficent's. "You would?"

"I..." Aurora stopped herself, opening her eyes, which were soon drawn to the blood red lips. "Yes." She rose her gaze to Maleficent's dark orbs, and there she found a new, disturbing, yet alluring twinkle in those eyes ordinarily so unreadable.

Maleficent only smiled, glee and satisfaction radiating off her face, and she reached out with her other hand to cup the princess' cheeks between her hands. Ever so slowly, she leant forward, and Aurora could feel her cool breath entering her own mouth, as scarlet lips barely brushed hers, and–

"Is this Sleeping Beauty float?" A strange, unnatural-sounding male voice came from behind Aurora. "I'm here for the replacement."

Without thinking, Aurora jolted backwards, thus bumping on harsh, solid plastic material. "Ouch!" She looked behind and restrained a growl when she found out what was the offensive object she had knocked on so hard. It was Maleficent's dragon.

When she looked back ahead, she saw that Maleficent had straightened her back, and was now assessing the new comer, dressed as Prince Phillip, with burning, fuming eyes. Aurora came back to the fairy's side, clearing her throat awkwardly as she rubbed her lower back with a wince.

"Er..." The new comer stammered, deep brown eyes going from Maleficent to Aurora. "I'm sorry, am I disturbing something...?"

"Not at all!"

"Yes, you are."

The two answers came at the exact same time and their owner, respectively Aurora and Maleficent, stared at each other, one with confusion, the other with visible irritation. Eventually, it would seem Aurora's wisdom had won the silent confrontation, and the Sleeping Beauty fully turned towards the new Phillip, apologetic smile plastered on her face.

"I assure you, there's no problem at all. We were merely talking. I'm glad you're here though, I was starting to wonder if you would come at all."

"Oh, yeah, well," Phillip's replacement gave an hesitant smile, voice so unnaturally low that it caused Aurora to frown. "Of course I came. Flynn told me about your predicament, I'm happy to help."

"Well, then, I thank you for it." Aurora smiled at the new Phillip, before she tilted her head to the side, one hand raising to her chin in a pensive manner. "But are you sure you're alright, your voice sounds a bit... off. Are you sick? If you need some rest, there's no problem, really, I can–"

"No, no, no!" The prince cut her off with open-palmed hands. "It's fine, really. My voice's always been weird." The shaky chortle that followed only confirmed to Aurora that something was indeed off.

Suddenly, a chilling, resonating laugh caused the two protagonists to freeze on the spot, and turn towards the source of the deep, odd sound, in time to see Maleficent, head bent skywards, laughing out loud, walking towards the back of the float, leaving them alone to deal with their misunderstanding.

"Why is she laughing so hard?" asked Phillip, blinking in bewilderment.

"Oh, don't mind her." Aurora answered lightly, shrugging her shoulders. "She laughs a lot and, more often than not, with absolutely no reason."

Before the new prince could answer, a loud, amplified voice shouted, "Everyone ready?"

"Yes!" came the unique answer, from all the Parade floats at once.

"Come over here," Aurora commanded, stretching a hand towards Phillip, who complied and walked up to stand by her side, offering an arm for her to lean on. She accepted without so much as an hesitation.

And so, the Parade began. Aurora never felt so light-headed, so free, during a Parade. She took Phillip's hand, raised their intertwined hands to the sky, lured her new companion into a dance. She blew out kisses to the cheering crowd, then waved at the overjoyed children. All the while with a whole-hearted smile splitting her face in two.

However, her relaxed and happy demeanor did not prevent her from noticing some strange occurrences. How this Prince Phillip was slightly shorter than her, how the voice was a bit higher when it cried out to the crowd, how the hands were much softer than the former Phillip – well, that was no true feat really, if she were being honest with herself – or how the prince's back was slightly curved, almost as much as hers.

And, when Prince Phillip stepped forward, standing at the edge of the float, Aurora's eyes fell on different parts of the oddly thin, lean body, and suddenly, something clicked into her mind.

So, when Phillip reached out to her so she would come to his side, she only smiled widely and followed his lead. When she was standing on his right, she bent her head to rest it on the much lower shoulder.

"You are a woman," she said simply, loudly enough so that her companion would hear her, but not enough for Maleficent or the people to hear.

"I– What? No, I am not! I am... I mean, I..."

"It's alright, you don't have to lie. I don't care, really."

"Really? You don't?"

"No, I don't." Aurora stated, head still leaning on the stranger's shoulder. "Just as long as no one notices. Well, except for me."

"Don't worry about it, I'm used to dress as a man."

That picked Aurora's interest, and she withdrew herself from the so-called Phillip's shoulder to better look at him– or rather, at her.

"Who are you?"

"Can't you guess?" The woman answered with a mysterious smile, though her gaze were fixed on the crowd below her.

"Well, I could guess of course, but–"

"Never mind," chuckled the stranger, tearing her eyes from the children and looking up at her.

"I'm Mulan."

Aurora marked a short pause, and then laughed, one small pale hand hiding her mouth. "Now, that makes sense."

At those words, Mulan smiled, and only then, Aurora could recognize the softness and candor of Asian's slanted dark eyes as the shorter woman dragged her into a dancing step, whirling her around with confident ease, only to catch her around the waist when she was pushed back on her feet, back facing her.

"I know, right?"

Aurora only smiled, and the crowd burst into applause.

When the night has fallen, as darkness finally ate at the last dying sunlight, Aurora got out of her small room, a smile printed on her bright face.

Belle, Ariel and Jasmine had invited her to join them for a drink at the Fairytale and she was determined to enjoy that evening now that all her issues had vanished – well the most important one, anyway. When she entered the sombre bar made of dark metal and worn wood, she scanned the assembly and soon enough, she found her friends – Jasmine, most of all – laughing out loud at a round table at the corner of the room.

"Hi, girls!" She greeted them with a wide smile. "Thanks for inviting me, this bar seems pretty cool."

"It is," Belle nodded her agreement, then she assessed her with a questioning eyebrow, "but you know that already, don't you? You came here with Cinderella on your first day, if I remember well."

"...and you ended up drinking with Maleficent, oh yes, I remember!" added Jasmine rather snidely, repressing a chuckle.

"Jasmine!" exclaimed Ariel, turning her big widened blue eyes towards her friend. "This is no way to greet Aurora. Maybe she did not want to talk about it."

"Oh, come on, Ariel. Don't be so coy with me." Jasmine rolled her eyes as she was caressing her long braid in a mechanical gesture. "I know you've been messing with her too, so don't play innocent. Even Aurora isn't fooled. By the way, Sleeping Beauty, what are you gonna drink? Whatever you'd like, I'll order it for you."

"Uh, I... I have no idea." Aurora answered lamely as she sent several pleading looks towards Ariel and Belle. "I trust you. Order something you think I should like."

Belle sighed loudly as she let her book fall onto the wooden table. "No, you wouldn't trust her," she said sternly. "Jasmine, order a Rose Thorns for our Sleeping Beauty."

A smirk slowly graced Jasmine's red lips as she bowed mockingly at Belle. "Yes, my Lady." At which Belle answered by another exasperated sigh.

"Rose Thorns, seriously?" repeated Aurora, her tone nothing less than sceptic as she finally slid on a wooden chair next to Ariel. "What alcohol is this, anyway?"

"I think it is red wine, gin and vodka, with a bit of mint and rose," responded Ariel in the most calm way, ignoring Aurora's dropping jaw. "Oh look!" continued Ariel, sounding ecstatic as she rose from her seat and started waving towards the opposite side of the bar. "There are Elsa, Anna and Rapunzel over there. Let's invite them. Girls! Hey, come here. Have a drink with us!"

"Oh, look there, Elsa!" Anna's high-pitched voice came to their ears way too loudly and suddenly. "There's Aurora. Let's go, Elsa!" She took her sister by the arm and dragged her towards Aurora's table, much like how she'd done a few days ago when she was having breakfast with Cinderella.

I wonder where is Cinderella. I haven't seen much of her these last few days... She looked around, seeking for any blonde head, but she could only find Rapunzel's and Helga's. No trace of Cinderella. She has completely disappeared. Or, maybe she's with her... with Lady Tremaine.

She searched the room once again, and a dreadful feeling sank into her belly. No trace of Lady Tremaine either. Oh my God, this can only mean...

"Hi Aurora!" Anna almost shouted into her ear as she took place on her right, while Elsa gracefully – and most importantly, silently – sat on her left. "So, how've you been?"

"Very good, Anna, very good. And you?"

"Oh, I'm fine. I'm great, actually." The red-haired giggled and Aurora shot her a perplex look.

"Really, and why is that?" She asked, and then bit her lip as she saw Elsa's dissuasive look. She had a feeling she shouldn't have asked that question, but unfortunately it was way too late.

"Because my sister finally found herself a girlfriend!"

Aurora dared a peak towards Elsa, who was now surprisingly hiding her face into her arms.

"Oh, I sure helped her with that!" Anna babbled on. "I mean, it's not like Elsa's the best to warm up to people, right?" She blatantly ignored Elsa's desperate groan. "Anyway, I pushed her to confess her feelings. She didn't want to, of course, saying that it was probably not mutual, blah blah blah. But, you never know, right?" Anna stared at Aurora with twinkling eyes, as if waiting for a confirmation, which she never obtained. "Sometimes it's mutual and you just can't see it. You can't guess what other people think, unless you ask them. Look at me and..." She paused abruptly, as if she were about to tell the greatest folly she had ever said. "And Kristoff. Well, no matter, that's irrelevant. Er... What was I saying?"

"You pushed Elsa to confess," supplied Belle, clearly annoyed as she turned another page of her book.

"Oh, yeah! Well of course, I did. If it weren't for me, she would still be waiting and suffering right now."

"Anna," Elsa started in a menacing voice. "Stop it. Now."

"Yeah, she's right. Stop it, Anna." Rapunzel talked for the first time, and her voice was strangely strong and terse as she threw an irritated glance at the Arendelle princess. "Seriously, I don't wanna talk about that. I'm already mortified enough." She let out a little pained moan and then jumped onto her feet. "Anyway, I just know you're not gonna stop, so I'll just go order some drinks. You'll take the usual? Elsa, too?"

Elsa only nodded, and Anna exclaimed, "Yeah, like always. But hey, 'Punzel, wait for the end of the story!"

"I know the end of the story, Anna. You already told me twice! And she told me too!" She yelled above her shoulder as she left towards the bar where she met Jasmine, busy dealing with four cocktails at once.

"She really wants to escape this conversation," Ariel commented, observing Rapunzel as she almost ran towards the bar.

"No kidding." Belle emphasized while never looking away from her book. Contrary to all of them, she seemed to already know what Anna was about to disclose. Well, to be quite fair, she always seemed to know everything.

"So, Anna? You were saying?" Aurora on the other hand, had no idea what this was all about, but she sure understood it was one hell of an information, and so she wasn't quite ready to give up on it yet.

"Yeah, right!" Anna laughed awkwardly, then tilted her head quizzically. "So, where was I...?"

"This is a living nightmare."

All heads turned towards Elsa, who had stopped hiding into her crossed arms and was now tapping the damaged wood table with her fingernails regally.

"Oh yes, right!" Anna's lips widened into a delighted smile just as her warm eyes met Elsa's chilling look. "So, Elsa's girlfriend–"

"Yes? Is someone calling me?"

And this time, all heads shot towards the empty seat that Jasmine had left, and that was now occupied with a very unexpected black-haired woman.

"Hello girls."

The reactions were very different amongst the Disney princesses. Ariel only gaped at the new comer, while Aurora blinked, several times, just to be perfectly sure. Anna let out several little ecstatic squeals, which were worsened by the woman's satisfied smile. Belle finally tear her eyes from her book, and as she saw the mysterious woman, she was the first to talk, evenly and confidently.

"Hello, Mother Gothel."

"Hello, Belle." Mother Gothel answered with a disarming smile. "A nice book you have here, how far are you from the end?"

"Hm... only fifty-six pages left, I believe."

"Well, you tell me when you reach the end. I just know you are going to love it." Gothel winked at Belle and then turned towards Elsa whose face had just took an enticing pink tinge. "Hello, darling. It's a pleasure to meet you here. A delightful coincidence, really. So tell me, how was your day?"

"It was..." Elsa seemed to have a great trouble raising her gaze to meet Gothel's and that made Aurora smile fondly. "Alright, I suppose."

"Well, likewise. But now that I've seen you, it is getting more and more exciting by the minute." Gothel paused and rejoiced in the widening of Elsa's deep blue eyes. Then, she stood and bowed gracefully to Elsa. "Now, my dear. How about we go find a place less– let's say, less crowded. Hm?" She outstretched a hand towards the Snow Queen.

"Aww! This is so cute. Elsa, you totally have to go with her." Anna said excitedly, clapping her hands together. Elsa took the time to give her a threatening glare. "Okay, okay, I'll stop. But come on, sis, just go!"

Hesitantly, Elsa placed her hand into Gothel's and let herself be dragged to her feet. She then faced her friends and offered an apologetic smile.

"I am truly sorry, ladies. I believe this drink will be for another time." She dared a timid glance towards Gothel, who only smiled ruthlessly and wrapped an arm around her waist possessively.

"What the beautiful queen means to say is that tonight, she is mine, and mine only." She chuckled darkly as Ariel's eyes menaced to pop out of her head, much like Elsa's, to be perfectly honest.

Aurora could do nothing but watch as the two women scattered away and disappeared into the darkness of the night. Jasmine and Rapunzel chose this very moment to come back, their hands full of huge glasses filled with various colored liquids.

"So, did I miss anything?" asked Jasmine as she delivered all the cocktails to their rightful owners. "This is my treat, by the way," she added as Aurora was about to search for her purse.

"Thank you very much, Jasmine. I'll repay you for that, of course."

"Don't worry, Beauty. Consider it your welcome gift." And Aurora gave her the most radiant smile, living up to her reputation once again.

"Okay, so..." Rapunzel intervened, eyes lost into her yellow-colored cocktail she was stirring frenetically. "Is my "mom" gone? Because I totally don't wanna see her with Elsa right now."

"Wait." Jasmine interrupted her drinking in the middle of a sip, resulting in almost spitting its entire content. "Is Elsa going out with Gothel?"

"Obviously," Belle drawled.

"Damn, this is crazy. Well, not so surprising, though. Just, did you see how these two have been acting around each other lately? The atmosphere was so tense and hot, I thought I was gonna collapse. Even Megara couldn't handle this, I swear."

"Now, Jasmine, don't exaggerate." Rapunzel denied fiercefully. "They're lonely, they're feeling a tad bit attracted to each other, so they're giving it a go. It's nothing much. It's just a fling, it's gonna pass."

"Are you kidding me? Seriously Rapunzel, you have to stop only caring about your hair from time to time. I know how much denial can be strong, but..."

Aurora had stopped listening for a short while, though she had not stopped sipping from her cocktail, which was simply delicious. However, there was something, or rather someone, who managed to caught the young woman's attention at the bar counter, and she was determined to get closer to that someone.

"Sorry, girls." She rose from her seat quietly and smiled at her friends, hands tied in her back. "There is someone– There's something I have to do. Anyway, thank you all for tonight, it was a pleasure. I'll see you around, I guess." She reached for her cocktail – she definitely was not leaving it here on its own – and she left without ever looking back, hoping her friends wouldn't take it personally.

She sat at the counter and waved to the waitress, a short blonde-haired girl who came to her instantly.

"Please serve a Purple Cosmopolitan to that woman in black over there." She pointed towards the tall woman sitting a few seats away from her.

"You want me to give a cocktail to Maleficent?!" The waitress asked, her voice wavering and her hands moving about her at lightning speed, in a true show of nervousness. "Are you crazy? Why do you wanna buy her a drink, of all people? She's gonna atomize you, you know? Why don't you just buy a drink to a nice cute guy instead, like this one for example, he looks kinda–"

"No." Aurora cut her off impatiently and rather dryly. "You heard me. I want to buy her a drink. Here." She placed a banknote into the waitress's hand and the latter finally gave up on her ludicrous quest and went to prepare the cocktail.

Aurora sipped on her drink peacefully while watching over the employee's work, and when the cocktail was finally lay before Maleficent, Aurora smiled. She did not look sideways, and waited. All she had to do was wait.

And she did not have to wait for long.

"Are you, by any chance, trying to buy my attention, princess?" The suave, deep voice came to caress her ears, and Aurora repressed the contented sigh that menaced to escape her lips.

"Let's say I'm trying to repay you for all the favors I owe you." She said with no hint of hesitation, even as she bent her head towards the older woman.

"Oh, really?" Maleficent's red lips curled into an alluring smirk. "Then I believe you have a lot of work ahead of you, for I did you many favors recently, if I remember correctly." She leant forward to push one blonde strand behind Aurora's ear.

The latter rose to the occasion and captured the long thin hand into her own. "Oh, I know. And I intend to repay you for each and every single one of them."

"And, may I ask, how do plan to achieve that?" The red lips were now twisted into an eternal seductive smile, and Maleficent's voice had that husky, edgy tone to it that made Aurora wish it would never stop teasing her ears.

"Oh, I'm not sure yet. But I thought maybe..." Aurora brought Maleficent's hand to her mouth, and her lips brushed it gently as she murmured. "You would have one or two ideas, that you might like to tell me?"

Maleficent chuckled deep into her throat, and the sound rumbled into Aurora's chest and made her lower spine ache.

"Do not tempt me, princess. You would not want to wake a dragon."

Then, it was like someone had taken control of Princess Aurora's body. She slid from her seat and positioned herself before Maleficent and between her opened legs. She placed her free hand on the older woman's thigh, and squeezed ever so slightly.

"If the dragon is willing to share its fire with me," she whispered into Maleficent's hand, right before she imprisoned the lean fingers between her lips. "Then I think I'd take my chances."

If other Disney princesses have the right to fall for the villain...

Then why the hell wouldn't I?

And when the wicked fairy sucked in a breath as she kissed her hand deadly slowly, she thought that, in order to hear that again, she would be ready not only to wake a thousand dragons, but to sell her soul to the Devil too.
