Abby raced down the forest path at a full sprint. Slung over her shoulder, her backpack swung with each step. The purple canvas fabric was caked with blotches of brown mud. A tear ran down the front, exposing the empty front pocket. In both hands, Abby held a pokéball. Gyarados's, she clutched to her chest right above her thundering heart. Dragonair's she held out to her side, poised for action. Her eyes darted back and forth, scanning the dark tree line for even the slightest movement. At times she swore she could see Flint stalking her from the shadows but whenever she focused her eyes on him, he wasn't there. Up above, too big to drape around her shoulders now, Dragonair soared amongst the treetops. His long body twisted and turned as he manoeuvred through the trees, shimmering with a veil of light blue. The round gem at his throat pulsed a bright, powerful purple. His head cocked and the gem pulsed.
"Air!" He cried and shot off ahead.
Abby's mind raced with what could have caught his attention. A swarm of rangers closing in on her, Arcanine's bounding at their heels. Perhaps Tiberius with a small army of Lieutenants. Maybe even her father and Leah. Then, the worst possibility presented itself to her. Green being dragged away by rangers, Machoke, Primeape, Graveler, and Elekid are all defeated. Somehow, Abby made her legs run even faster. Her eyes followed Dragonair, he was closing in on the city. Soon enough he'd be close enough to see what had happened to Green if he hadn't already. Suddenly, he reared in the air and came to a halt. Dragonair hovered still, the beads on the end of his tail shone bright with dark purple. A Golbat met him in the air, fangs poised to attack.
"Rangers…" Abby said.
Abby pointed to Golbat as she ran up beneath Dragonair.
"Dragonair A-" She began to shout when a Beedrill joined Golbat in the air, getting in between him and Dragonair.
An unusual choice for a ranger to make, most stuck Zubats for poison types. And to have two on their team? Was this the Bug Lieutenant? No, it couldn't be, they had a Golbat. The Flying Lieutenant then? The thought struck fear into Abby but she disregarded it quickly. The Flying Lieutenant wouldn't use such mid-tier Pokémon. The two Pokémon hovered in the air, eyeing Dragonair warily.
"Bee!"
"Bat!"
They both cried, sounding alarmed. Dragonair's eyes stopped glowing, along with his gems.
"Air..."
At once, all three Pokémon turned from each other and dashed apart. Dragonair sped down to Abby's side. She stopped running and faced him with a cautious curiosity.
"What did they want? Who were they?" Abby asked.
Dragonair huffed and landed back on the ground. He rose, standing a head taller than her.
"Dragonair," He said in a low, soft voice and gestured down the path with a nod.
Just as he did, two voices cried out.
"Abby!" They both yelled.
Joel and Jackson rounded the far off bend in the forest path. They barrelled towards her, Joel's face was ripe with concern.
"Joel!" Abby shouted and ran to greet them.
Dragonair slithered after her, keeping low to the ground. Abby and Joel embraced, practically slamming into each other as they ran into each other's arms.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Abby asked frantically, looking him all over for wounds.
Joel grasped her shoulders and pulled her back.
"Me?! Are you okay? You were fighting in the sky!" He shouted just as frantically.
"Hey! I'm the one who found you!" Jackson yelled.
Dragonair came up beside Abby's shoulder and loomed over Jackson, a scowl on his face. As Jackson winced back away from Dragonair, Abby blinked at him with a bewildered look.
"Jackson? What are you doing here?"
"I came to save you! I ran all the way here from Lavender Town!" Jackson proclaimed with a grin.
"You ran here?" Abby took a step back from Joel, her eyes widened. "Then you would have seen Green right?! Is she okay?!" Abby took a hold of Jackson's shoulders and gave him a shake.
Jackson's whole body seemed to turn to stone at her touch. He stared at her wide-eyed.
"What? Yeah, she's fine! She's battling some fat ranger," Jackson said.
"What?!" Abby yelled.
She shoved both of them aside and took off back down the forest path. They shouted after her and their frantic footsteps filled the air as they pursued. Whether they were keeping pace or not Abby didn't care. She pounded the ground with a sprint and quickly rounded the turn Jackson and Joel had come around. Immediately, she was greeted with the multicoloured bricks of Celadon and the entrance to an alley. However, no sooner than she had rounded the corner did Primeape round the far off bend of the alley. His eyes flared when he saw her and he let out an air splitting howl.
"PRIIIIIIIIME!" He bellowed.
A hand grabbed Abby's shoulder from behind and stopped her from running to him. Joel pulled her back, stopping her in his tracks.
"Holy shit! Get behind me!" Joel yelled and reached for Granbull's pokéball.
Before Abby could protest another cry filled the air.
"Dragonair!" Dragonair yelled and tackled Joel.
He slammed Joel to the ground, ripping Joel's grip away from Abby's shoulder. He sat on Joel's chest, mouth opened and glowing purple. His eyes burst into purple flames with a shower of purple sparks.
"No!" Abby shouted and hit Dragonair with the beam of his Pokéball.
Just as Dragonair's attack was about to fire, he dematerialised with a flash of red light. Joel stared up at the space Dragonair had once occupied with a shell-shocked expression. Jackson ran past Joel. He sneered at him before looking up at Abby with an awe-struck looked.
"Wow Dratini evolved!" He said.
Abby gave him a thin smile before turning her attention back to Primeape. As he ran down the alley and crossed over onto the forest path, Green rounded the corner behind him.
"Wait up Primeape!" Green yelled.
"Green!" Abby yelled.
"Abby?!" Green called back.
Abby ran past Primeape as he approached, dodging around him with a hop and leaving him bewildered. Jackson called out after her and his footsteps followed behind her. Abby's heart practically jumped up to her throat as she ran towards Green, a huge rush of relief overcoming her. By the time they rushed together and Green's arms were around her, Abby had begun to weep. All at once, her composure broke and the emotions came flooding in. The fear. The fear of being caught, the fear of being knocked from Gyarados, the fear of Green being captured and the fear of nearly allowing herself to kill a man. It all came at once and it was too much for her body to handle. Her knees gave way and she collapsed into Green's chest. Her arms caught her and Green guided her to the ground. Green knelt with her and held her securely as Abby wept.
"Are you- you okay?" Abby asked with a gasp between sobs.
"I am," Green said softly.
Green's hands stroked her back and Abby smiled. She lifted her head, finding a tear-stained shirt before her. Green was looking down at her with a steady smile, without even an inkling of a tear. Again, a hand gripped Abby's shoulder and again Abby looked back to see Joel. He had a smile on his face, but it was strained. It faltered a little as his eyes briefly glanced to Green. Behind him was Jackson, watching them with an awkward gaze. His eyes averted as Abby's met his. Primeape joined them and moved behind Green with heavy footsteps. He stared at Abby with his usual, hard and sharp gaze.
"Let's get you both to safety," Joel said and looked down the alley.
Green nodded and slowly got to her feet, bringing Abby with her. Abby allowed herself to be lifted and clung to Green's forearms. If she let go, Abby knew she'd be on the ground again. In relative silence, the group made their way back through the alleys. Golbat, Beedrill and Primeape scouted ahead for the route back to the Pokémon Centre.
Green twisted the door handle and shoved open their room's door with her shoulder. Slowly and cautiously, Green guided Abby across the room and sat her down on the white double bed. She let go of Abby and waited, watching to see how she reacts without her holding onto her. Thankfully, Abby just lay down and curled up. Green sighed and turned from her. She crossed the room to a blank, white desk covered in standard looking office stuff. The same copy-paste desk Green had seen in every Pokémon Centre apartment. The same pens in the same pen holder beside the same computer with the same keyboard and mouse. Green unfastened her pokéball belt, breaking the uniform white of the desk with its black and silver. Five of the six canisters held pokéballs. Green had taken Dragonair's and Gyarados's from Abby without any resistance. For a moment, she considered releasing Dragonair but decided against it. She'd seen him attack that nurse, she saw how close he came to making an enormous mistake. Although, Green did not hold it against him. Evolution was a powerful experience after all, especially in the midst of everything that had happened.
Green had felt her share of anger during her fight with Kerr when he insulted Erika when he destroyed the square when he attacked Machoke. Green ran her finger on the first, empty holster of her belt. She couldn't feel angry anymore. Not for a lack of want. There just wasn't any left. The long walk back to the Pokémon Centre had given her more than enough time for the reality of what had just happened to her to sink in. And for all the emotions that came with it to be processed. She was getting good at that, she was finding. Feeling things, understanding those feelings and then putting them aside so her rational mind could take over. It was becoming eerily easy. Green chuckled softly. The idea of being too nervous to speak because a hot guy looked in her general direction seemed absurd now. She shook her head and turned back to Abby. Abby was looking at her with sad, beckoning eyes. Without a word, Green joined her on the bed. She crawled over to the bed cuddled up behind her. Abby's body quivered as Green pressed her stomach up against her back. Then, her shoulders began to shake and Green felt Abby's stomach harden against her hand as she began to sob again.
"I almost died Green. That Aggron, he could have-"
"But you didn't, you beat him," Green whispered.
Abby whimpered and clutched Green's hand, pressing it down against her stomach.
"Flint he- I could have. Would have-" Abby choked on a sob.
"Would have what?" Green asked.
"Killed him. If Gyarados hadn't failed, I would have killed someone."
"He was trying to hurt you. He put your life at risk, you were more than-"
"Not the second time!" Abby yelled and spun around.
Her tear-filled eyes, puffy and red were wide with rage.
"He was unarmed, defenceless and I considered it! I considered it Green…"
Green gave her a warm smile and cupped her cheek. She wiped away a tear with her thumb.
"But you didn't, that's what matters," Green said.
More tears welled in Abby's eyes as the rage drained from them. She sobbed once then flung herself forward. At first, Green thought it was a hug and braced for one. Although Abby's arms did wrap around her, Abby's lips pressed against Green's. Green stiffened at the kiss but quickly relaxed and fell into it. Some of her own emotions came rushing back to her as she indulged in Abby's kisses. However, after only a few moments of rough kissing, her rational mind cried out to her. Green tore away from Abby's kiss and pressed her forehead against hers.
"What are we doing?" She whispered, breathing hard as adrenaline coursed through her.
"Who cares, it feels good," Abby said before kissing her again.
Green allowed the kiss before breaking it again.
"I-I'm not sure this is what's best for you right now," Green said.
"I wanna feel good, make me feel good Green," Abby whispered with a shivering voice before aggressively kissing Green and taking a handful of her breast.
While her rational mind put up a fight, Green's lust surged and sent it kicking and screaming back out of her thoughts. She kissed Abby hard and grasped her waist with both hands. Abby's body pushed back against her hands, tensing and quivering at her firm grasp. Green squished the tense muscles, feeling Abby's firm body as she got on top of her. Abby's hands were both on Green's breasts now, squishing and pushing what little they could get a hold of. Green felt like the fabric of her shirt was pulled away from her nipples as Abby's hand tried to get her shirt off. For an instant, their kiss broke as Green sat back and flung the shirt over her head. In the next instance, their lips were back together. While Abby's hands ventured up onto Green's back for the knot of her chest wrap, Green's slipped beneath Abby's shirt and took a hold of her toned stomach. It quivered at her touch and Green felt it shrink back as Abby's extended her arms. Green drove her thumbs into the soft, smooth flesh above her abs. As the chest wrap fell from her breasts and Abby's arms came back to feel for the now exposed nipples, the hard abs pressed through the soft flesh into her thumbs. While Abby pinched and pulled At Green's erect nipples, Green caressed each bump of Abby's abs and made her way up. They both let out a little moan into each other's mouths as their hands explored. In that brief pause, Green opened her eyes and found Abby gazing back at her. Their hands froze as they gazed at each other. Green marvelled at Abby's creamy skin and brown eyes, how they mixed with her tangled auburn hair to make a warm palette of a complexion. Without a word, they both fell back into the other's mouth and began roughly groping.
Green took a hold of Abby's shirt and flung it up over her head, tearing Abby's hands away from her breasts and her mouth from Green's. As Green threw the shirt to the side, Abby's hands seized her huge breasts. Her mouth, rather than returning to Green's, clasped around Green's nipple. Abby began sucking away at Green's breast, pushing and squishing them wildly with her hands. Green gasped and moved up, putting her chest directly above Abby's face. She leaned forward, burying her face into the blanket of auburn hair covering the pillow above Abby's head. Her head turned to the side, along with her body. They lay facing another, Abby suckling Green's breasts and Green's hands moving in opposite directions. One moved up, slipped beneath Abby's bra and took hold of her small breast. While the other slipped beneath Abby's shorts. Green found Abby's pussy and wasted no time slipping her fingers inside. Abby moaned, biting down on Green's nipple gently. The grip of her hands tightened and her chest heaved, pressing her breast against the palm of Green's hand. A bit of drool escaped Abby's mouth as she moaned, dribbling down the curve of Green's breast. For a minute, things became frantic as Green roughly pleasured Abby and Abby aggressively sucked away through a chorus of moans. But slowly, things slowed. Green found a steady, slow rhythm with her wrist and Abby's mouth and tongue worked away at Green's nipples with careful precision.
Green let out small, stammered gasps. Her chest rose and fell with each. When her breasts rose and pressed against Abby's face, Green felt her clamp down. Her grip roughened and her mouth sucked harder, but as her breasts fell away again, Abby calmed and let out a moan. The cycle repeated. A cycle of blissful, calm pleasure. Tears welled in Abby's eyes and joined her spit in running down Green's breasts. Green was about to stop when she felt the smile accompany the tears. She continued and brought her hand off Abby's breast up onto her head. Gently, she stroked the long tangled mess of auburn hair. Her fingers found knots, which she took care not to pull on.
"Your hair needs a brush," Green whispered, smiling as she got a muffled giggle from Abby.
Abby didn't speak in response, rather she seemed to pour even more into suckling Green's breasts. Green let out a soft gasp and pushed her face into the top of Abby's head. One of Abby's hands left Green's breasts, the one without Abby's mouth around it. It ventured down, getting distracted by her stomach and hips until eventually arriving beneath Green's skirts. Green parted her legs ever so slightly, letting Abby in. Abby had a bit more trouble finding her way around. She found the entrance easy enough and slipped some fingers inside, but her thumb wandered for quite a while trying to find the clit. Green didn't mind. Even if the pleasure wasn't great, feeling Abby's smile against her breast more than made up for it. Green stroked her hair and ran her hand down onto her bare back. Green felt Abby's shoulder blades jostle as she fingered away at Green's pussy and caressed Green's breasts. A little shuddered gasp escaped Abby's mouth, sharp and quick. Her thighs clamped down around Green's wrist and her hand began to pump Green's pussy quickly. Green gasped from the shock of the sudden pleasure and let out a moan into Abby's hair. Inside Abby, around Green's fingers, the walls of her pussy began to quiver and tighten.
"Green…" Abby moaned, squeezing her breast tight.
Green raised her head and Abby did the same. Without a thought, their lips were locked as they both frantically fucked each other. Abby moaned into her mouth again and again as her legs squirmed. She broke their kiss, went still inside Green and let out a wail of a moan as she came. It started as a long cry, then swiftly petered off into a quiet, trembling groan. She pressed her face into Green's collarbone as her pussy contracted. Green kept fucking her, slowly now. Abby's hand moved too, although shakily and with no rhythm. Her thumb did find the clit, however. Green laughed and caressed her hair as she made a pitiful attempt to pleasure it.
"It's alright, I don't mind," Green whispered before kissing her head.
Abby stopped and looked up at her. She moved her hand off Green's breast and wiped her eye. Green helped her with her free hand. Abby sniffled and looked down, considering her hand. After a moment she pulled out. They kissed as Green rolled onto her back. Then again, and again, and one last time before Abby scooted down and lay her head on Green's stomach. Abby's cheek was soft against her skin, if slightly wet. With a sigh, Green lay her head back on the pillow. A calm came over her as the adrenaline began draining from her system. She looked around her bust of breasts at Abby, only to find her already asleep. Green decided to join her but found that sleep did not come easy. Her body still expected an orgasm and some small part of it was still prepared for one. So instead, as Green waited for her body to catch up with her mind, she played with Abby's hair. Careful not to wake her, Green untangled the countless knots and enjoyed the feeling of Abby's breath blowing onto her skin from her nose.
