Wanting to know more about the Mystic Charm and the origins of the spirit inside, Ichika asked Charlotte for some help. The spirit and Charlotte ended up spending the day together and had a rather enjoyable one. Along the way, he decided to pay a visit to the museum and see if their might be some clues to his origin in there. They think the chances might be small, but they figured it was a worth a shot. That's only because they don't know of what really lies in there.

"This is truly a fascinating museum." Charlotte said as they had a look around. "It references history with mythology."

"Yes, but nothing about my past or anything. At least not that I can see." Ichika said.

"I'm sorry. I thought you being here would help." Charlotte said. "It would help if we had a clue as to what to look for."

"You can't expect the answers will just come to you." Ichika said as the two of them walked by, but suddenly stopped as some strange sensation came over him. He looked towards a doorway and could just feel something down there.

"Is there something wrong?" Charlotte asked.

"Perhaps I spoke too soon. I sense something down there." Ichika said.

"What do you mean you sense something?" Charlotte questioned.

"I mean that I can just feel that there's something down there." Ichika said. He walked over to the door and opened it up as he saw it went to a lower level. Following the feeling that there's something down there, Ichika went on ahead.

"Wait! I do not believe this is available to the public!" Charlotte called as she followed after him and went on down herself. He wasn't sure what was down there, but he just knew that it was something he needed to see. The two of them kept going until they reached the end of the steps and was faced with a stone tablet.

"What's this?!" Ichika said as he was surprised at what he was seeing. Charlotte took a look at it herself and was quite surprised to see the spirit's image engraved on that tablet.

"That man in the tablet looks just like you!" Charlotte said.

"It looks like you were right, Charlotte. Coming here seems to have a clue to my past." Ichika said.

"And much more, Ichika Orimura, or should I say Great Hero since you're the one in control of that body." Both of them turned around and was met with Tatenashi herself.

"Oh my! I am so sorry! I know we're not suppose to be down here!" Charlotte said.

"That's okay, Charlotte. I've been waiting for you." Tatenashi said. Ichika and Charlotte were quite confused and surprised on what was happening. It was like this girl really was expecting them. This could be where some answers are found.

Conner

After meeting with Tatenashi, Conner got a brilliant idea to settle the score with Ichika and prove who the best duelist is. He's setting up his own tournament. Getting approval, he got straight to work on getting everything ready.

"It's all set, Conner." Mila reported. "Everything is going ahead of schedule."

"Good. What about finding the location of these two cards: Izanami and Izanagi?" Conner said.

"So far, nothing. These cards are very rare, if they do exist." Mila said.

"Keep up the work. I want everything we can get on those cards." Conner said. "If I can get those cards, not even Orimura will be a match for me." Mila did just what her brother said and got to work on finding those cards and getting the tournament ready. As everything went as Conner wanted, he took a look out his window and could just envisioned his triumph already.

The Museum

"You know Charlotte's name, and you know about me. You see the truth of who and what I really am." Ichika said. "You were expecting us, but how. We never met you before."

"Seeing things that haven't happened yet when you have one of these." Tatenashi said as she tapped against her tiara with Ichika realizing what that is.

"It's another artifact!" Ichika said.

"Good guess, even if I did give you the answer." Tatenashi was finding some enjoyment in this. "My name is Tatenashi, and with the power of my tiara, I knew you two were coming. You were hoping to find answers on your history and origin."

"Can you help us with that?" Ichika asked as he felt like he found what he was looking for.

"I can't give you all the answers, like what your name is, but I can point you in a direction." Tatenashi said. "You see, my family owns this museum, but there's more to it. We've been waiting for a day like this to come." Ichika and Charlotte didn't understand, but they still listened to her. "That tablet behind you tells you a story. Centuries ago, a great darkness fell upon this world. However, a great hero stepped forward and used the power of eight magical artifacts to vanquish this world."

"And you're saying I could be that hero?" Ichika questioned.

"You are wearing one of those Mystic Artifacts." Tatenashi claimed as she pointed to the charm around his wrist. "This hero fought bravely and saved the world from darkness. However, we always knew that this darkness might return one day, and the spirit of the hero was sealed away for when that time came. It would seem that time is near."

"Are you saying that there's a great evil out there and I'm suppose to save the world from it?" Ichika questioned. That was when he realized something important.

"What is it?" Charlotte asked.

"I just remembered that this evil might already be making it's move." Ichika said. "Remember when Bane stole my charm. He was under the control of someone else."

"Ooh.. Mind control. That's definitely the work of a bad guy." Tatenashi said. "I do not know if what you're facing is the same evil, but I do know that the world is in need of your help."

"What do you mean?" Ichika questioned.

"You see, my tiara allows me to have visions of future events." Tatenashi said. "It has showed me that you will be in a tournament, a tournament held by someone you know: Conner Knight."

"Conner?!" Ichika said as he and Charlotte were shocked to hear him.

"Yes, and that evil will be there. You must face this evil and win or the world will fall in darkness." Tatenashi explained. "You saved the world once before, and I'm sure you can do it again. No pressure. However, there's something else you should know about. Two very powerful and important cards will be needed for these cards are the source of what gave you your great power. They are Izanagi the Creator and Izanami the Destructor. These two cards are very powerful, and they can bring about great destruction in the wrong hands. To prevent that from happening, you must have them."

"But I don't know where those cards are." Ichika said.

"I'm afraid that's where the bad news comes from." Tatenashi said. "The two cards are already in the hands of someone they shouldn't."

"They have?!" Ichika said. "How do you know about that? Did you tiara show you more?"

"Not exactly." Tatenashi said. "The truth of the matter is that my family was digging out a piece of history and we found the two cards there, near the same place where we found that tablet behind you. However, some strange man showed up and stole them."

"What?! Then, is the world already in danger?!" Charlotte said.

"Possibly. Those cards are a powerful force together, but you are the key in all of this Great Hero." Tatenashi said. "Whoever holds those cards desires the power that you hold. For the world to be safe, you must duel and win. I understand that this might be a lot to take in, but I already know what's going to come." She said all that she needed to say and walked out of there. Ichika and Charlotte has learned a lot more than they expected. They came to learn about the past, but ended up learning about the future. Ichika turned around and took another look at the tablet.

"Are you okay?" Charlotte asked.

"A little surprised, but I'll be fine." Ichika said. "Thank you for this, Charlotte."

"Pardon?" Charlotte questioned.

"You suggested that we come here and we did. We learned a lot more about myself." Ichika said.

"You're right! We learned that you were an ancient hero that saved the world with the power of eight magical artifacts and two powerful figures." Charlotte said. "Perhaps having all eight artifacts, as well as getting those two cards, could unlock more of your past."

"Perhaps you're right." Ichika said as it had him do some thinking. "If what Tatenashi says is true, then that means I must enter a tournament and win."

"A tournament that Conner is hosting." Charlotte pointed out. "If Conner is hosting the tournament, you know he might be going for you. It will just be an attempt for him to duel you again, for his own desires and prove he's the best."

"You might be right, but I still must enter." Ichika said. He might know a little about his past, but he knows more about his future. A future where he must duel and win to save the world.

Tatenashi

After Tatenashi had her talk with Ichika and Charlotte, she went to a different part of the museum. She met up with her sister Kanzashi to begin the next part of their plan.

"Did he come like you saw?" Kanzashi questioned.

"He did, and everything is just about in place." Tatenashi claimed. "Now, I think it's time we get ready for our part in all of this." Tatenashi has set the wheels in motion for events that are about to come. Now, it could all be in destiny's hands.

Ichika and Charlotte

After their trip the museum, Charlotte and Ichika were on their way. Night fell and the two of them were walking down the streets, letting everything that they learned sink in.

"So, you're really going to enter? Do you think you're ready to face whatever this evil it is?" Charlotte questioned.

"I can't be sure of anything, but it seems like I must." Ichika said.

"There they are! I knew it!" Both of them looked to the side and saw Houki and the other girls. Charlotte felt like she was in trouble now. "I told you that they snuck off together and were on a date!" Rin claimed.

"You were right, Rin!" Houki said as the four of them ran over to them and was planning to give Charlotte a hard time for this.

"Charlotte, how could you?! How could you go behind our backs and go on a date with Ichika?!" Cecilia said.

"I thought you had more shame than that!" Laura said.

"No! It's not like that! Ichika asked for my help and that's what we've been doing all day!" Charlotte said as she tried to get everyone to calm down.

"Why are all of you here?" Ichika asked, but none of them really had a good way to answer that. They weren't the only ones that were getting a surprise visit tonight.

"Well, it looks like the gang is all back together!" All of them looked and were all surprised to see that their old friend from Duel Island was in town: Hector.

"Hector?! I don't believe it!" Houki said.

"It's been a while. It looks like you all are doing well." Hector said. "Charlotte, you look a little snazzy. You wouldn't happen to be on a date with Ichika, would you?" He teased with the other girls shooting death glares right at her.

"No!" Charlotte said as she was getting embarrassed about the whole thing.

"Hector, what brings you here?" Ichika asked.

"The same reason as you." Hector said, but Ichika didn't know what he was talking about. "You mean you didn't hear? There's suppose to be some big announcement about an upcoming tournament, and I heard that it's being hosted by Conner Knight himself."

"Conner?! Why is he hosting his own tournament?!" Rin questioned. This is what Ichika was told about. That was right when they all heard a helicopter up in the air and they all saw Conner riding on it with him being broadcast all around.

"Duelist, one and all! I have a pleasant surprise for all of you!" Conner said. "I will be hosting my own tournament to help find the truly best of the best! It's going to be Dueling City!" The sound of that alone got the attention of many duelist. "Anyone can enter! Get your duel disks and your decks ready! My very own tournament starts in one week! Make sure you register, and let's find out who is truly the best of the best! I will be competing myself! Keep that in mind!" He looked down and spotted Ichika there, the one he's really after. "Prepare yourselves because Dueling City is going to be all-out war!"

'And if I want to save the world, I have to win!' Ichika thought. To others, this tournament sounds like a great opportunity to test their skills, but this is something Ichika has to compete in to save the world from a great evil.

Meldrick

"Dueling City, is it?" Meldrick said as even he heard about this tournament thanks to his followers. "Sounds like the perfect opportunity to go after Ichika Orimura again. He won't be able to give me the slip the next time. Obrin! Valatin!" He called for two of his trusted servants with both of them stepping forward and bowing to them.

"Yes, Master Meldrck?"

"Prepare my forces. We are going to partake in this Dueling City Tournament." Meldrick as he lowered his hood and showed his face with having tan skin and pale blonde hair that reached his shoulders. "My hour of triumph draws near. We are going to enter this tournament and claim the hero's power that Ichika Orimura holds."

"Looking forward to it."

"Of course, we will do everything we can to aid you in your conquest."

"I know." Meldrick said as he pulled out two powerful cards: Izanagi and Izanami themselves. "I have already obtained Izanagi and Izanami. Once I get a hold of that power, there won't be a force in the world that can stop me. Watch yourself, Ichika Orimura!" He laughed as he believes all that he desires will soon be his.
