A favorite couple drinks of Ami Mizuno had been apple juice and bottled water. Apple juice had been a fruit juice made by the maceration and pressing of an apple. Bottled water came to be a drinking water packaged in glass or plastic water bottles. Ami came to enjoy her bottled water iced cold. Her mother did her best to make sure that she stayed heathy and Ami ended up not wanting to disappoint her so she stayed away from most energy drinks or soft drinks in favor of apple juice and bottled water much to her mother's pride in her.
"Why do you not drink soda so much. Ami-chan?" Minako asked her when Ami drank a bottle of iced cold apple juice during one of their study sessions at Rei's temple.
"It is better for your health, but sometimes I do drink ginger ale," Ami answered with a smile.
