Uchiha Compound Late Night

Fugaku could be seen seated down in his office looking over some paperwork. The mansion was quite for the most part except for the running water from the bathroom nearby. Pausing in his review he looked up with a determine voice. "Don't you hide in the dark. Come before me now. We have much to discuss". A few seconds later Itachi appeared in his ANBU gear in the kneel before standing up to face him.

"I assume you heard of the recent attack that happen here in the village. I'll save you your worries and concerns. I was there. Nozomi was attacked once again" he stated as Itachi looked a bit stunned.

"Nozomi? Is she ok?"

"She is fine now. Mikoto is with her in the bathroom cleaning her and taking care of her injuries. Much has happened to her, and a lot more needs to be understood. But before we talk about that, something must be cleared". Placing his elbows on the table and his fingers crossed he glared at Itachi. "Are you loyal to the Uchiha Clan or Konoha?". Itachi looked at him wide eye for a second.

"Aren't they both the same?"

"You would be correct to some degree as the Uchiha Clan is a part of Konoha, but you seem to forget that Konoha is a part of the Uchiha as well. Without our clan there would be no Konoha. There wouldn't even be any ninja nations. We agreed to the alliance with the Senju to form Konoha. We made this place a haven for our people. Now that the Kyuubi attack happened, it seems that everyone has forgotten that and disrespect us. Even my own son has turned traitor to the clan to spy for the village elders" to revealed causing Itachi to step back in shock a bit.

"How do you know that to be?". "Does it really matter. You still done it. What do you expect will happen to us with you spying? A peaceful resolution?" he questioned

"I did so in order to make peace and find a way to end this situation. You and the clan were thinking of a coup!"

"Which would have failed. You are smart and you should know with the improved security and increase growth of the village we would never be successful. We would be outnumbered 50 to 1 at the minimum. It would at most cause massive damage to the village and weaken it a bit for enemy attack, but we would lose. I know how the elders think. What would you think they would do to prevent this"?

"Hokage-sama will strike a bargain or a deal to uphold the peace"

"You are correct but what would the other elders do? They would never strike a deal. They would have us all murdered. They would wipe us out. Me, your mother, your brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and more. Not even the babies would survive. Our clan would be used as an example to other clans. Maybe even cause some issues with some clans thinking they are next. Like the Hyuuga clan" he explained making Itachi clench his fist in anger.

"What would you have me do? There doesn't seem to be any choice where I can fix things" spoke Itachi as Fugaku stood up and walk around the table to place a hand on Itachi's shoulder and giving him a soft expression.

"You are a smart and gentle child. I am proud of your growth as a ninja. There is a way to fix things but that depends on you. You are very strong for your age. It said that you could be the second coming of Madara within a few years". 'Which we would need to face him'

"I will accept peace on these conditions. You are to apprentice under the Hokage for you to become the future Hokage. Whether that would be the Godaime or Rokudaime does not matter to me, but it must be those positions. Nozomi is to be adopted into the Uchiha Clan. And finally, you are to be married to her as well. These terms are not negotiable" he finished as Itachi snapped his head in his direction in a mixture of emotions.

"What?!"

"It's simple. With you as Hokage or next in line to be Hokage the Uchiha will get the respect they deserve and no longer be looked down upon. We will secure our proper place in our village. With Nozomi in our clan she will no longer be targeted and be safe. With a family. Mikoto will take proper care of her. With her marriage to you she will be even more shielded from any more other attempts on her life or forced into anything due to have the Kyuubi. You and you alone with secure her future and safety"

With this Itachi could have the peace he always wanted. His mother and brother would be safe. The clan would be safe and Konoha would be safe as well. He could uphold and even improve the peace in Konoha. Could he make this sacrifice?

"I will do it, but Sandaime-sama would need to agree to this"

"We will go see him tomorrow"

Next Day Hokage Office

"Do you understand what you are asking of me?" questioned the Sandaime looking at Fugaku and Itachi from his seat in his office.

"Yes, I do. This method with ease both sides of the conflict. The Uchiha clan and the village" answered Fugaku from his seat in front of him.

"Proposing that I groom Itachi to become the future Hokage in these times where I am already under pressure to choose a successor. One who is not from your clan"

"Who?"

"Names have been thrown in from Kushina to Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kakashi, and even Danzou. But Kakashi is not at that level yet and Danzou is as old as me. Jiraiya would rather fight with Iwa again then assume the position"

"Which leaves Tsunade and Kushina"

"You are correct. Kushina always wanted to become Hokage since she was young. She has the drive, the knowledge from her late husband, and experience from her station as Head of Security. The power for it and the support of the people and clans.

Tsunade has the power for it and the massive experience from multiple wars and conflicts. Connections across the nations. The heritage from her grandfather and the drive to carry out the dreams of her late fiancé and younger brother. She also has the support of the people and clans.

As you can see, they are both perfect candidates. One protects the village and the other saves the village" he finished crossing his arms looking at the two.

"Itachi attacks for the Konoha. Keeps are enemies at bay. From your reports you could clearly see that he is getting stronger every day. He is already as S rank level. With your guidance and teachings, he would be ready to take the hat after the person you choose. We will be securing Konoha's present and future"

"And what about the adoption and marriage. While I can see many benefits for Nozomi in this, the elders and the clans will not accept this. Especially Kushina and the Uzumaki Clan. They would raise hell about this"

"Then it's a good thing that they are not currently the Hokage and that the Uzumaki clan exile Nozomi. Which means she falls underneath your care. You know what she is going through daily. Let us take care of her. We will raise her to be something you are proud of. And when you retire you can visit, help train, and raise her when you train Itachi. Your constant interaction with the Uchiha Clan would help ease down tensions as well" explained Fugaku making the Sandaime leaning back and calculate all the outcomes and possibilities.

"If I accept this Itachi would be groom to take the seat as the Rokudaime Hokage by me. I will stop by frequently to check in on Nozomi and if I don't like what I see, I will call this all off. The Uchiha Clan will cease all hostiles and move back to their original location in the village and not the outskirts. The Uchiha Clan police will be removed and combined with Kushina's security. It will no longer be run by just the Uchiha Clan but all clans and other ninja" making Fugaku grit his teeth a bit.

"But only if you have the final say in this agreement. No person or Hokage after you has a say in this agreement. That includes your advisors"

"Done, I will form the contract now" agreed the Sandaime pulling out a scroll and writing down the full details of the agreement. Once reviewing it over he passed the scroll over to Fugaku and Itachi to look over. Seeing that it was everything that was agreed upon Fugaku and Sandaime both signed the contract making it official.

Uchiha Clan Hospital

Like all clans the Uchiha Clan had their own small hospital. They were capable of doing everything the main general hospital is, but they were more specialize towards their clan's biology. Right now, Mikoto was with Nozomi who was being looking over by a doctor. Laying down on the bed she watched with Mikoto as the doctor had her hands hovering above her body with green charka covering it.

"It would be hard to determine what changes have happened to her without a up to date file in her records. We can only go off what you say happened to her, the oldest files we have in the database, and assumptions" she started as she was constantly going back-to-back performing her technique and writing things down on a clip board.

"From what we can tell so far is that there is more charka path was to her eyes then expected. More than what an average doujutsu user should have. Her body is much different from a person her age should be. Her bones and muscle are much stronger. Even her organs seem to perform at an improved function compared to a normal person. Some of her body structure improvement could be compared to an animal. There is also the fact her brain waves are different as well. While it seems like more of the brain's capacity has been unlocked, some of her animal instincts have been unleashed as well"

"Animal instincts"

"Correct. As humans are more evolved than the normal animal, we have lost some base line instincts they have to survive. Improved 5 senses, strong instincts to fight or flee, our 6 sense of sensing danger, even our stronger urge to find a strong mate and reproduce. Our senses for these have lowered down with our intelligence increasing tenfold. For her it seems like she has got the best of both worlds.

This is not even talking about her charka as it is completely different"

"How different?"

"Well to make it simple, they are massive. Like to a degree I would probably guess is a bujii. Her charka properties are also different. Instead of the normal blue its yellow. From the feel of it you practically taste richness of life energy. Its so magical" she finished writing a few extra notes on her clip board

"With all these changes she would have to go through a massive amount of training and tests to understand everything about herself" spoke Mikoto placing her hands over Nozomi's head and petting her hair as she looked up at her with a small smile.

'That's not even considering the amount of emotional trauma she has to fight through from that night she experienced. I'll have Fugaku and Itachi research everything about everything that man did to her while I focus on her mental state. She is a fighter and I know she can take on this and I'll be here to help'
