"Hang on, Luz! I'm not going to let you die!"
When Brainiac came to the Boiling Isles his army of drones began to lay waste to the place, I got caught in the middle of it when some of them came to my manor and blasted the door apart and me and my siblings, Edric and Emira got forced into the fight against that monster.
While Edric and Emira held the drones off with their illusion magic, I escaped from the fight and ran towards the Owl House as fast as I could. I didn't know if Luz and others were okay.
When I was almost there, I was instantly grabbed by my crush as the Owl Lady was riding her staff alongside Miss Lilth and that little demon I encountered that Convention.
With the speed of a Griffin, we managed to get Willow and Gus away from the drones that were beginning to overwhelm them both.
Luz then ordered Eda to fly straight to the skull ship, and I used my de-materializing magic to blow a hole big enough to get us inside.
"Once we got inside and confronted that monster, we initially thought he was smart but weak considering he used others to do his dirty work for him."
Oh, how wrong we were...
Without even trying, he used his tentacles to knock the demon to a wall and knocked him out, pinned Gus to the ceiling, tore one of Lilth's arms off, sliced the Owl Lady's head off, and began to strangle Willow all while he had a smug smile on his face.
While Luz distracted him using her glyphs, it was up to me to destroy his tentacles using the same magic to I used before.
So far, I've destroyed three of them. And Brainiac knew what I doing as he launched four more tentacles at me...
As I saw them come closer, I instinctively closed my eyes and waited for them to impale me...
And they would've killed me if...
That was when I heard a scream of pain as well as screams of horror from everyone else.
When I opened my eyes, I saw something I wish I hadn't.
Luz... was impaled through the chest by Brainiac's tentacles and she was bleeding out fast...
She shielded me from them.
But that wasn't all as she... was smiling through the pain, almost like she was happy that she saved me and dying.
Seeing the human that I loved and who had helped me so much bleeding out in front of me with almost content expression... something snapped in me as I lost it as I wiped that monster off the face of the Boiling Isles for good.
Once I snapped out of it, I found out that the Owl Lady got us off the ship as I then joined the others as we surrounded Luz, who was dying. No, no, I wasn't going to lose her! I love her too much for that!
Suddenly, this strange portal manifested out of nowhere as this blue and gold armor wearing person came floating out of it.
"Dr. Fate was his name, and using his own kind of magic which astounded me and the others since he was human like Luz as he wrapped mystical medical bandages around Luz's chest and most of her stomach, stopping the bleeding almost instantly and beginning to heal her.
When Luz was now in a stabilized position, I couldn't control myself as I planted as many kisses as I wanted to all over her face and told her that I loved her with each one.
Once I stopped kissing and professing my love for the lovable human, the magic sorcerer then told us he saw her that she was needed for something called "The Mystic Alliance" and that order would be lost if she died and that he defied fate (pun not intended) to save her in spite the protests of the "Lords of Order" just like he did with someone named "Dinah Lance" before asking for her assistance.
When she said yes, she said that she would only help out but only on occasion and only if Fate could get her back to Human World and we instantly agreed to join her as well despite it not being necessary.
With the doctor saying that he'll call on us when we're needed, he then quickly disappeared back into the portal.
"As we walked back to the Owl House, only one thing was for certain...
We were going to form a Suicide Watch group or something for our reckless, foolish, nerdy... selfless, friendly, and undyingly loyal human."
