Spoilers for the Season 2 finale of Amphibia, you've been warned.

Marcy Wu!

"I'm sorry... for everything."

Those were the last words I said to Anne as I fell to the floor of Andres's throne room and dropped the music box to the floor as Anne cried out my name in horror as the portal to Earth closed along with Anne and the Planters.

God, I hoped that they made it back home.

As my consciousness was flipflopping between the throne room and the world of the dead. I didn't hear the sound of a transportation machine.

When I finally managed to awake from my near death experience, I found out that I was in the hospital... of a different Earth, which would be awesome if I wasn't worrying about Anne, Sasha and the Planters at the moment.

But there was little time to worry about that as when I got out three weeks later, this billionaire guy named Bruce Wayne decided to escort me to his mansion as I didn't have a home here.

When we got there, that was when this alien named Brainiac showed up above Gotham, as he projected holographic version of himself for all of the city to see.

He demanded that we turn over this "Superman" dude or he'll destroy the planet as he dissipated his hologram.

When I asked who Superman was, Bruce quickly explained the situation to me. Apparently, Superman was once Earth's greatest protector now turned villain because of one bad day.

That was when Bruce took me to his basement, I was soooo excited.

He was a superhero called Batman.

He then told me that he's going to need as much help as he can get and he asked for mine.

I was going to say yes, but I was hesitant to do so. When he noticed this, he asked me what was the matter?

When he asked, I just spilled my guts to him. I told him that back on my Earth, my dad got a job out of state and that we were going to move away. I didn't want that as I was going to have to leave my best friends, Anne and Sasha behind. So in my desperation, I had the former steal the music box and transport all three of us to this world called "Amphibia" where frogs, newts and toads all talked and had there own society. I told that I didn't think that it would work, but it did, much to Bruce's surprise as well as my own.

With my story told, I ran out of the bat cave in tears.

A few hours later, I sitting outside a store on a bench crying my eyes out.

That was where this weird lady with makeup on her face named "Harley Quinn" came up to me asked me what was wrong.

With that, I told her everything. When I was done, I told her that Batman asked for my help to stop Brainiac, I was hesitant to join him. When she asked me why, I told her that I was scared that I might do something to make things worse as I already messed up so badly with my best friends.

But that was nothing compared to the amount of blood on Harley's hands she had on her when she was with this insane now dead guy called "Joker". He was the one who pushed Superman over the edge and turned into someone even worse than him.

She told me that even though she's made a LOT of mistakes, she can still make up for them. That's what she did by joining Batman and his Insurgency, to make up for all the harm she's caused and the lives she helped the Joker end or the graveyards she's filled herself to prove her love for him.

And apparently, she and I weren't alone in the whole "big mess up department" as she told me about the Scarlet Speedster known as Flash and the galatic cop known throughout the universe as the Green Lantern who were two members who fought for the Regime that has killed villains without a second thought and are now going through hell and back to redeem themselves in the eyes of Earth's people.

And if Harley, Flash and Lantern can try to make up for their crimes and attempt to be better, than maybe I could too.

And so, I made my decision...

I decided to help stop Brainiac, in any way I could.

At the moment, he collected another city.

At that moment, it was time for me to stop being cowardly and start acting.

In the fight against Brainiac, he sent drone after drone in waves across the planet to cause a distraction so that the Regime and Insurgency had to split in order to decrease the level of damage. So the rest of the Regime and the Insurgency spread out across the world to halt the alien''s drones while the one's to stop Brainiac were Bruce, Superman and myself.

Even though we had him outnumbered, Brainiac was one tough bastard to fight, mostly because of that awesome armor he had. Kinda reminded of that robot that Polly found. I think his name was Frobo if I remember correctly.

Anyway getting back to the fight with Brainiac he managed to knocked out Batman and Superman was struggling against him.

What did I do, well as Brainiac was about to kill the Man of Steel, I threatened to destroy one of his bottled cities if he did so. In a blind panic, he was about kill me using his metal tentacles.

But before he the chance to, I gave him a choice: Put back the cities he stole and leave the Earth or I'll destroy every city that he had, including the ones from Earth.

When he thought I wasn't bluffing, I channeled my inner Sasha and "pretended" to almost clumsily drop one of the bottled cities.

Given no other choice, Brainiac conceded and stopped attacking.

Once every city on Earth was put back to where they belonged, that was the chance Superman needed to stop Brainiac for good.

At that moment, Batman regained consciousness as I told him what happened. On one hand, while he was proud that made Brainiac stop and put the Earth's cities back, he was disappointed that Superman killed that alien, but chose not say it out loud.

In gratitude for my assistance, Batman used his technology of inter-dimensional travel to send me back to my universe.

At first, I was content with going home. But after thinking on it, I asked Batman if he could send me to Amphibia. When he asked why, I simply told him.

"It was time that I made up for the mistakes I made."

As I traveled through the multiverse, all I hoped was that Sasha and Grime were still alive by the time I got there.

And there was only some much hope that one has before eventually giving up.

And I wasn't about to do that cause that's how villains win after all.
