The Mitchells
"Whoa, did we seriously just do that, cause I think we did."
"We did, Mom. I'm pretty sure we did."
"Okay, what on God's Earth did we just do?"
"I think we just... save our world a second time, Rick?"
"Hey everyone, Katie here. As we were trying to process our defeat of Brainiac, I thought back on how we managed to do so."
"It was another day on Earth as I was going on a road trip to Washington DC to accept the Congressional Medal of Honor with my family consisting of my parents Rick and Linda, my little brother Aaron, our "dog" and two defective robots from PAL's robot invasion a few months back called Eric and Deborahbot 5000.
Yeah we have a weird family, but I like it.
Anyway, we just outside the city's limits when something really unexpected happened.
A spaceship that looked like a giant skull with tentacles appeared above the city as Dad instantly stopped the car as we saw drones pour out of his ship in waves.
And unlike PAL, whose robots only captured people for their human pods. Brainiac's drones were outright KILLING everyone in sight.
What were we going to do...
We were going to save the world again, the Mitchell way!
Our plan was simple. Get into Brainiac's ship and destroy the data core.
It sounded simple... if only pulling it off was simple.
Yeah, just with Pal, we had no idea what we were doing.
Dealing with the drones were rather easy due to our unpredictability. Also, seeing go all Kill Bill on those drones was just awesome to see.
Brainiac however was a different challenge altogether. He was intelligent and insane. Almost like if Albert Einstein's mind was put into Arnold Schwarzenegger's body but had the combat experience of William Wallace, Julius Caesar, William the Conqueror and Alexander the Great.
Yeah, it was that bad.
But somehow, we were still standing when he went down.
And when went down, so did his ship. Luckily, we managed to escape just as it crashed outside of Washington.
Now that the invasion was stopped, we were treated to an outstanding ovation from the survivors as heroes as we decided to continue our road trip through the torn up city of Washington D.C.
And I'll just say it now. Stopping Brainiac reminded me of that Avengers movie with Ultron declaring war on Earth and the Avengers have to stop him.
Yeah, nothing says road to fame like stopping an alien invasion.
