Hi everyone... long time no see!! Please enjoy this super sweet one-shot I wrote for Seattle Grace's most notorious couple. Merry Sleximas !!!
"Christmas really is our holiday isn't it?" Lexie said, snuggled in Mark's arms, admiring all the gifts they had under the tree. They were having people over for Christmas Day, and decided to do presents then. For only being back together for less than a month, they fell back into the same old routine so quickly. Lexie moved back in, and both were so stinking happy. "Why do you say that?" Mark said jokingly, looking around at their incredibly festive apartment. Lexie had always been a Christmas person, so naturally, Mark became a Christmas person too. "We probably have to get up soon. We have so many people coming over. Remind me again why we're hosting?" "Um, you volunteered us. And I think we're just fine on time." "We have to go pick up the food, and make the apartment look beautiful, and I have to get ready, and oh my god, I should've started cooking like 5 days ago." "Lexie, you're rambling again." "What? No, I'm not. I need to start cooking." "Didn't we order all the food?" "Yes, but we have to make it look like we cooked it all. So, I have to get all the pots and pans out." "If I got this right, you told everyone you could cook, knowing you can't cook, and ordered all the food, and are going to make it look like you cooked it, just so you don't have to admit defeat?" "You nailed it." "You're lucky I love you." "I really am." Lexie mused, before finally getting up from the couch. "Who said a little shower quickie would hurt?" Lexie said, as she pulled off her pajamas. God, this girl would continue to drive Mark insane forever.
"That was not quick at all!!" Lexie exclaimed, looking at her watch. "Yeah, I know. Super enjoyable, though." Mark said, still smirking. "Can you go pick up the food? I already texted you the address?" Lexie said, as she threw clothes at him and shoved him towards the door. Mark's phone buzzed with the address as he hurried to his car. "Portillos? Nice choice, Lex." Mark thought to himself as he grabbed the dishes of beef sandwiches, pasta, and chopped salad. Maybe it was for the best that Lexie didn't cook. For how much he loved her, there were somethings she couldn't do, and cooking was one of them. "I have enough food to feed an army!" Mark announced as he walked through the door. In the short period of time that he had been gone, Lexie had some how managed to pick the whole apartment up, and make it look even more spotless than usual. "Do you know how many socks you leave everywhere??" Lexie exclaimed, picking up sock after sock. Mark snuck behind her, and gave her a bear hug from the back, her favorite thing. Immediately relaxing into him, Lexie couldn't help but smile. She was back together with the love of her life, on her favorite day of the year, with her favorite people coming over later. "I love you." Lexie said, as Mark kissed her neck. "We are running sooo late." Lexie said, laughing as Mark dropped his head onto her shoulder in defeat. Flipping around so she could face him directly, Lexie stood on her tip toes so she could kiss him. "Do we have enough alcohol?" Lexie said, looking around the apartment for the booze. "Uh, I thought you were getting the alcohol." Mark said, as Lexie's eyes widened. "All pick ups were on you." "Do we have no booze?" Mark said, looking at his watch, seeing that it said 3:30pm, and guests were coming at 5:00pm. "You better hustle." Lexie said, pointing at the door. Groaning as he grabbed his keys and wallet, Mark walked out of the door for the second time today.
Coming back into the apartment with enough Liquor to send someone to the hospital, Mark walked in. "I'm getting ready, shove it all in the fridge!!" Lexie hollered from their bedroom. Putting tequila, whiskey, seltzers, beers, etc. into the fridge, Mark walked into their bedroom to find a very stressed Lexie. "Guests are going to be here in like an hour, and I'm not even close to ready!!" "Deep breath. I'm sure you look hot." "You're my boyfriend, pretty sure you're required to say that." "Wouldn't be saying that if it wasn't the truth. Goddamn, woman, you look amazing." Mark said, looking Lexie up and down as she got ready in the bathroom mirror. "Shut up." "I speak the truth and only the truth." Lexie did look amazing, with a white cream sweater, and a black leather skirt with some fun thigh-high black boots. "Curl or straighten?" She flipped around to ask Mark, and he, as usual, voted for the curls. "Your outfit is on the bed. We coordinate well, so we have to get good pictures tonight." "Got it, sergeant." "Asshole."
Through a Christmas miracle, Lexie and Mark pulled the whole thing off. The house looked flawless, they looked great, food was excellent, and no one had a clue it was from Portillos. The secret Santa was a massive success, and Meredith appreciated the Tequila Lexie got her. Derek laughed at the sweater Mark got him, and it was one of the many laughs shared that night. People eventually began to file out around 11pm, with the sad gloom of work tomorrow. As Callie and Arizona, the final guests, left, Lexie let out a deep breath. Looking at each other, they both said "Never again." "We should probably do our presents, that way we still have some semblance of Christmas left." Lexie says, collapsing on the couch. "Princess. Making me bring you all of your presents." Mark jokingly said as Lexie kicked her feet up on the coffee table. "I wrote really cute tags on yours and they're all wrapped pretty too. For a plastic surgeon, I thought you'd be better at wrapping." Lexie said, jokingly. "Hey! I wrap stomachs in, not presents." Mark said, grabbing all his presents. They each took turns opening each other's gifts, oohing and ahhing. Lexie got Mark an Apple Watch, a whole bunch of clothes, and some new running shoes. Mark got Lexie a new purse, a new fun pair of sneakers that both Callie and Arizona approved, and a trip to Napa for the weekend in April. Lexie couldn't help but make the snarky remark of will they still be together, come April, but luckily she was able to swerve her way out of it. Finally, she pulled out the skimpiest, sexiest, and laciest Santa lingerie she has ever seen, hidden under her clothes, and watched Mark's jaw drop. That night, after presents, they had a sex and movie marathon, with frequent pause breaks in the movie. After almost 8 rounds, and nearing 18 orgasms, the two were completely spent. Deciding to finally head to bed, Lexie realized Christmas wasn't about where you were, or what you got, and was about who you were with. Luckily, for her, she wanted to be with Mark forever.
Part of her did want a diamond ring under the tree, specifically the one hiding in his underwear drawer, but, there's always Valentine's Day.
Hope you all enjoyed... maybe I'll continue for Valentine's Day?
