Huey Freeman!
"In all years as someone who has been nothing but scrutinized by those around him for his realistic view on the world, being labeled as a "domestic terrorist" I've been through a lot of crazy situations. From fighting an evil ghost that once possessed one of my neighbors, to taking on a team of Chinese kids in a game of extremely intense kickball, the time that my town of Woodcrest went into lockdown over the Fried Chicken Flu, even went against multiple law enforcement groups to stop a terrorist plot.
But Brainiac was by far my toughest challenge to date when he invaded Woodcrest. Grandad wanted to evacuate with everyone else while Riley alongside Ed, Gin, and even Uncle Ruckus wanted to take the fight to the alien.
When it was my turn to decide, I ultimately decided to fight. Cause even if we did run, Brainiac would just destroy the planet anyway.
It was time to put skills as a retired domestic terrorist to the test!
While Brainiac wasn't exactly a martial arts master like Luna, the Hateocracy or even Uncle Ruckus, he was probably the most powerful of my enemies.
But with great power came with great arrogance as I teamed up with the Insurgency to take him down.
Once Brainiac was unconscious, the problem arose on what to do with him. If we killed him, we would end up losing the cities that he collected. If we spared him, he would just do this again.
The Insurgency and the Regime were at an impasse. Both sides were not going to back down and it seemed that a fight was going to break out until I interfered.
I grabbed Wonder Woman's lasso and forced the truth on how to reverse the collection process out of the Coluan.
Once we got the information, I was about to use the explosives I was planning on using to kill Wuncler to blow Brainiac to Hell. But before I could, something Gandhi once said popped into my head."
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
"So instead of killing him, I used the Black Power Fist which I upgraded with Batman's technology to absorb everything from his mind from 12th level intellect to his ship's data library and gave the glove to the Insurgency so that they could reverse the process. Afterwards, Bruce and the Insurgency imprisoned him on Earth rather the Phantom Zone where Clark was going to be.
After the Earth was saved, I was approached by the daughter of the deceased Ra Al Ghul. I first thought she was going to want me for the League of assassins like Damian, but it turns out that she wanted to train me for an important mission.
What was that mission?
Kill Ed Wuncler.
Why? Because he was willing to sacrifice Woodcrest just to save his own skin by siding with Brainiac.
Taila revealed to me that during a recon mission, she found out that once Brainiac had Superman, he was going to take Woodcrest because the history behind it, he would spare only Wuncler and his family because he willingly gave it to him.
That information disgusted me to my core. I always knew Ed was a monster, but this was a whole new low. The League did some despicable things, but I'm pretty sure that they knew when to step back and rethink things.
With a smile on my face, I accepted and geared up, I've been gunning for that bastard since I first came to Woodcrest.
Look out Wuncler, here comes retribution.
This chapter was dedicated to the injustice of George Floyd's murder back in 2020 and the Black Lives Matter Movement. May us black folk get the rights and value as people we deserve. May Mr. Floyd rest in peace.
