"This is a very interesting chapter. Here are some of my thought after reading this chapter:

1. Hercules will try to have a revenge. I don't know what he will do. Maybe he'll Zoё's father or maybe he'll try to beat Percy.

2. That golden apple that Percy ate was real and in future chapters he'll become a god. I'm also pretty sure that Zoё is in love with him becouse of that apple.

Hercules will have revenge, as you'll see in this chapter. The golden apple thing you'll also see in this chapter. Yes, Zoё does love Percy too. I had a great day, and I wish the same to you.

Love it or hate it, you have to admit, it's better than any lemon I would have written.

Yeah, lemons aren't for everybody. When I include a lemon in a story, it's because it has a purpose in the plot. For instance, this story, the lemon's purpose is to set up Hercules' decisions that he makes in this chapter. And wait no longer, for the next chapter is here.

The Next Day

Percy snuck out of Zoё's house early in the morning. The sun hadn't even risen when he left. He had borrowed a pair of sweatpants, the pair he was supposed to wear the night before, and one of his hoodies that she still had. He also took a backpack to put his superhero suit in.

He floated on water to Gabe's apartment. He opened the door and closed it behind him softly. He let out a sigh of relief. Then he was grabbed and pushed up against the wall.

The smell of alcohol clued him in to who it was.

Gabe.

"Where were you, you little punk?" He slurred.

Percy pushed the drunk man off of him. "Why do you care?"

Gabe said nothing, instead raising a beer bottle. He quickly swung his arm in the air and broke the bottle on Percy's skull. Percy pushed Gabe, before running to the bathroom. Gabe was slow to catch up to him, only catching a door to the face. Percy locked the door.

Gabe banged on the door, only to be ignored. "You can wait in there all you want. I'll be here to kick your ass when you get out!"

"What the fuck do you want?!" Percy yelled through the door.

"To kill you!"

'No shit.' Percy thought to himself. He decided that Gabe didn't need a reason to want to kill him. Him being alive was enough of a problem for the drunken man.

Resigning himself to the fact that he was probably going to miss school today, he looked in the mirror. His head was starting to sting from the glass bottle. He guessed that when it shattered, it cut some of his scalp. He touched the places where it stinged, and looked at his hand.

Sure enough, blood was on his fingers. He looked back up to turn the faucet. He would splash some water on his injuries, and they would heal up. At least, that's what he think would happen, based on last night.

He looked back at his fingers, looking at his blood. He noticed something strange this time.

There were flakes of gold in his blood. He was becoming immortal.

He healed his cuts, then sat on the toilet, scrolling through his phone. It was hours later when he got a text from Zoё.

Hey, can you come pick me up? I'm at Central Park.

Yeah sure.

Thank you.

No problem.

Zoё had woken up with Percy. Well, more like she had woken him up. It was almost five in the morning. He had groaned at being woken up, but eventually, he opened his eyes.

He looked at Zoё. "So it wasn't a dream." He muttered.

"What gave it away?" She asked softly.

"I can see your boobs."

She laughed quietly before getting serious. "We have to sneak you out of the house. Father will be up soon, and if he catches you, we are more fucked than last night."

Percy seemed to instantly awaken. "Shit. I have no clothes."

"Just take those sweatpants and a hoodie. I still have one of yours."

As Percy got changed Zoё was lost in her thoughts. She had given him an apple. Something she was forbidden to do, ever. Sure, she had been rebelling recently, but it was all small things, so this was way different. If her father ever found out, she would be cast out of the family. She would have her immortality taken away, and she would be alone.

Percy spoke up, shaking her from her thoughts. "Um, do you have a backpack or something I can put this in?" He asked, holding up his suit.

Zoё walked over to her closet and pulled out an old backpack. She handed it to him, and he put his suit into it. He walked over to her window and opened it. He turned around.

"Thanks for... everything." He motioned to himself.

"Yeah, no problem. Now, you have to go."

"Right, your dad. I'll see you at school?" He asked.

"Of course."

"Well, I'll, uh, I'll see you then."

"Yeah. See you then."

Percy stepped out onto the awning, and closed the window behind him. He summoned some water and flew away.

Zoё walked over to her bed and sat on it. It seemed cold now, without the warmth of Percy. Then she realized, she should probably put some clothes on. So she did that.

A few hours passed before she started to get ready for school. She walked downstairs and started to make herself some breakfast. She put some waffles in the toaster and got out the butter and syrup. She waited for the waffles to finish.

Atlas came out of his room and instantly took a sniff. He frowned. Then he walked over to Zoё and sniffed her. Zoё was obviously uncomfortable and scooted away.

"You smell like the ocean." He stated.

"And?"

"Why would you smell like the ocean, when we don't live near the ocean? Unless..."

"Unless what?"

"You were with that brat, Peter. He smells like the sea."

"Percy?"

"Yeah, him. So, you snuck out last night. Because I know you wouldn't let a boy in this house without my permission, right Zoё?"

Zoё looked down, hiding her troubled face. "Yes father."

"Good girl."

Zoё was getting more pissed off with every word her father spoke. She bit her tongue to keep herself from spouting something at him.

"You wouldn't want to disobey the rules. Especially after I just gave you so much freedom."

'A bigger cage. Hooray.' She thought.

"If it wasn't for me and Kronos, you would still be in that garden, tending that tree. He freed us, and you wouldn't want to stab him in the back, would you?"

"No father."

"So if you know anything about Sea Storm, you would tell me?"

"Yes father."

"So do you know anything?"

"No father." She almost hesitated, but she was sure that would give him the real answer.

"And there is the lie!" Atlas boomed.

Zoё looked up shocked. Only to see a fist strike her in the eye. She fell back, not believing what just happened. She was on the floor, mouth agape as she breathed heavily.

"Look what you made me do." Atlas said, almost looking sorry.

Zoё got up shakily and ran to her room. She locked the door behind her, and grabbed her backpack. She had to leave the house quickly. The last straw had just broken the camel's back. She opened the window that Percy had escaped from only hours earlier.

She stepped out onto the awning, almost slipping on the shingles. It wasn't too far of a drop down onto the grass below, but she was careful, not wanting to break her legs. She dropped onto the grass and broke out into a run. She ran for a while, eventually ending up in Central Park.

She texted Percy to pick her up.

LINE BREAK

Percy pulled up to Central Park in his car. He couldn't see Zoё, so he parked and got out. He walked into the park, following a path. He was looking around when someone ran up to him and hugged him.

He was taken aback, before looking down at the person and realizing it was Zoё. He heard sniffling as he realized she was crying. He took her to a nearby bench and sat her down with him.

"What happened?" He asked gently.

She picked her head up. Her eye was starting to swell and bruise.

"Oh shit." He muttered. "Hold on, I have an idea."

Percy closed his eyes and concentrated. Water in the air condensed over the still forming black eye. He kept it there for a few seconds as the bruise healed. He opened his eyes to see that the black eye was gone.

"It actually worked. I did not expect it to. Like, at all."

"What did you do?"

"I, uh." He paused and looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping. "Used some water to heal your eye."

She hugged him tightly. Percy returned the hug, glad that she trusted him enough to be the first person that she contacted. He kissed her hair.

She looked up at him. "You missed."

"What?"

"You missed."

"I heard you, I don't understand."

She rolled her eyes before kissing him for real. Percy went wide eyed before returning it. They kissed for about a minute, before they broke apart.

"You can kiss your girlfriend, you know."

"We're dating?" He asked.

"You didn't know? I thought I made it clear last night. You think I let anyone do that? Even Hercules didn't get that treatment."

"Lots of people have sex without it being anything more. I didn't want to just assume."

"Well, let me confirm it." She said, before kissing him again.

They were really getting into it when an old man decided he had something to say about it. "DAMN TEENAGERS GETTING NASTY IN PUBLIC!"

They broke apart and looked at the man.

"Let's get out of here." Percy said, looking at his watch. "We have school in half an hour anyway."

Zoё nodded her agreement.

LINE BREAK

Percy pulled into the student parking lot of Goode High School. He parked the car and got out of the car. Zoё got out after him. He held out his hand to her, to which she accepted.

As soon as they walked in, they noticed something very wrong. The usually loud and rambunctious cafeteria was deadly quiet. Everyone stared at them like they were dead meat. Well, they looked at Percy like he was dead meat. They looked at Zoё as if they were worried for her safety.

They sat down across from Grover who was looking at them knowingly. "You guys are dead." He said.

"Let me guess, Hercules?" Percy asked.

Grover nodded. "Told the whole school he caught you guys having sex, and that he was gonna kick your ass. And also something about fucking Zoё and making you watch this time or something like that."

"Sounds great." Zoё said sarcastically.

"Well, he plans to jump you after 5th. So be careful."

"Yeah, no problem."

LINE BREAK

Percy walked out of 5th ready for a fight. Zoё was by his side as she wanted to see him kick Hercules' ass.

It wasn't before long when he was shoved against the lockers. Percy had to bite his cheek to keep from uttering "Harder." He was seriously tempted to do it. End this with one word. But he also wanted to kick his ass physically.

Percy shoved the football player off of him and into the middle of the hallway. A crowd was gathering around them, all cheering for one or the other. Most of them were for Percy, but all of the jocks were cheering for Hercules.

Now, in a normal high school fight, it looks like two kids rolling around on the ground. This was not that. One, Percy actually knew how to fight. With fists and a sword. Hercules, well, he knew how to tackle, but that was really it.

Hercules went to tackle Percy, only for the secret superhero to dodge. The football star crashed into the lockers. He turned around and stared down Percy.

"Bad bull." Percy snarked, a smirk.

Hercules grunted, further proving Percy's point. He charged again at Percy, which Percy again dodged. This time, he punched Hercules in the face, knocking him over. Percy walked around Hercules, taunting him.

Some of the jocks in the crowd were not happy that Hercules was losing. One of them saw the water fountain and mentioned it to the others. They grinned as they made their way over to it. They turned the spout so it was facing the fighters. They waited for Percy to face them before turning it on and spraying water in his eyes.

Hercules got up and charged at Percy, both arms out to catch him no matter which way Percy sidestepped. The water invigorated Percy though, making him feel like he just drank twelve cups of coffee. His mind was going into overdrive as he felt time around him slow. He took in every detail before making the decision to jump over the charging brute.

Hercules ended up taking down his own teammates, while Percy landed back on the ground unharmed. Hercules got up and the two circled each other. Hercules charged for another attempt, not realizing that it was never going to work.

Percy punched him in the chest. Hercules went flying down the hallway, landing at the feet of an administrator.

That's how Percy ended up in the principal's office. The principal sat on the other side of the desk, looking over some files. She would glance up at him every once and a while, making Percy nervous.

"Well, we are suspending you both for two weeks."

"But then we're out for winter break."

"And?"

"So I get four weeks of no school?"

"That is correct."

"Well, Merry Christmas to me then."

She did not look amused.

Percy walked out of the principal's office. Zoё was waiting for him.

"Well?" She asked.

"I'm not coming to school for four weeks."

"They suspended you?"

"Well, I did knock him out."

Zoё shook her head. "So what are we doing for two weeks?"

"We?"

"Yeah, we."

"Well, what do you want to do?"

"I have an idea. There's a lot we'll have to do though."

"Tell me about it." He said as they walked out of the school.

LINE BREAK

Hercules held a bag of frozen peas to his swollen cheek. Percy had did a number on him, and now he was suspended. It was all that dick's fault!

He should've been the one taking Zoё's virginity, not that waterboy! He should've won the fight! He should've been the one to knock out that insignificant boy!

While he was stewing, his front door opened, interrupting his thoughts.

"Who's there?!" Hercules yelled out.

"Forgive me for just letting myself in." A man said. His voice was chilling, like a knife scraping against a stone. He came into the light. He had golden eyes that were timeless. Black hair and a beard that came to a long point.

"Who are you?" Hercules asked.

"I... am Kronos."

"What do you want?"

"Ah, it's not what I want, but I can give you. I understand you want Zoё Nightshade to be yours? And you want to crush Percy Jackson?"

"How do you know that?"

"I know lots of things. Like what you had for breakfast, and the secrets of the world. I know everything there is to know about everything. I knew your namesake, you know. You are a lot like him. Strong, handsome, smart." Kronos said.

Hercules' chest poofed up with pride.

"I have to wonder why that Zoё girl wouldn't want to be with you. You have it all. You're the whole sha-bang."

"I am aren't I?" Hercules said, removing the frozen peas from his forehead. "But that upstart, Jackson. She's too smitten with that jackass." He sneered.

"What if I could make him go away?"

"You could do that?"

"Even better, I can give you the tools to do it yourself. And then Zoё will be yours to do with as you please. Personally delivered, wrapped with a bow, courtesy of moi." Kronos gestured to himself. "Consider it an early Saturnalia present."

"You can give me her?"

"Well, I can give you everything you want, and more." He held out his hand. "Do we have a deal?"

Hercules had no hesitation. "Deal." He said, shaking Kronos' hand.

"Good. Good."

A/N. Another chapter closer to the end. I think there should be abt 3 more chapters left of this. One more of buildup, then the final battle, and then the chapter that wraps everything up in a nice little bow.

I actually finished this chapter a little bit ago, but some problems arose, so I had to push it back. Which sucks, since I wanted to post the final battle chapter today, but oh well.

Once again, thank you to Zaeng_ for editing this chapter. I really like how the deal scene turned out after you told me to extend it. Definitely a lot better.

If you're wondering what Saturnalia is, it's a roman holiday, and is what Christmas was before Christianity got their hands on it. It celebrated Saturn, so I felt like it would be a nice little Easter egg that Kronos would call the holiday Saturnalia instead of Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, for those who celebrate it, Merry Christmas. I hope you had a good one, and that you got everything you wished for. (I got the entire Lucifer Comic collection, and I'm reading through that for RotDA. It's given me some good ideas. Also, holy fuck, they nerfed everyone in the show. For example, did you know that Mazikeen could do blood magic? I didn't. Anyways, I got off topic.)

As for Percy and Zoё's relationship. I don't want anyone to assume that just because they had sex, that is why they are back together. It's not like them fucking brought up new feelings. They never lost feelings, and Zoё broke up with him, soley to protect him. She still liked him, as seen in her actions throughout their time of being broken up. I tried to make that clear, but I know it's easy to miss some details, and I want to keep the record straight.
