"Oh Wow! Now THIS is I call the scoop of the century!
As someone who's covered wars before, I figured why not get the next big scoop once more by participating in stopping Brainiac's attack. I'll admit working with that spandex wearing maniacs was alright at best and rather judgement at worst considering the history of both sides of them. The Insurgency lacked the will to cross their no kill rule while the Regime threw their morality out of the freaking window and essentially became the villains of their own story.
Then again who was I to talk considering what I do against zombies during the Willamette outbreak and those I saved from it.
To say I underestimated Brainiac first showed up would be an understatement. And oh man was I right on the money on that. Seeing him nearly kill Superman using his ship immediately made me cautious for my own life when I'll eventually come face to face with him.
So, what does one do when face with a seemingly unbeatable opponent? Why use their own resources against them of course! And with my expertise in using the resources around me in order to creating combination weapons to fight zombies, as well a bunch of scrapped parts from those damn drones that attacked me during this whole thing, I was able to manage... though it did take some time.
I give that monster quite the surprise when I revealed...

Brainiac didn't stand a chance.
With the alien now unconscious, I took the pic I needed and instantly fled the scene as the Regime and Insurgency started beating on each other on what to do with him.
As long as those costumed clowns don't try to get in the way of my career of journalism, I'm for whatever they do with that freak of nature!
I do wonder how much rent money a pic like this will get me, and I wonder what the next big scoop will be!
