I was another one of my legendary treasure hunts with Sully and Elena that eventually becomes a fight for survival that eventually turns into a "save the world" scenario. Which wasn't the first my adventures became like that.
And Brainiac's attack and getting involved in the conflict between the Regime and Insurgency might have just proved to be without a doubt my greatest adventure yet.
Seeing that green skin bastard taking it to the likes of Batman and to my surprise even Superman, I quickly knew that fighting him up close would be really stupid. So, while the heroes distracted him. Me, Sully and Elena snuck to into his collection room and being careful to take the Earth cities and leave the rest to the heroes.
Unfortunately, Brainiac knew what we were doing and sent a holographic version of himself to take us out. But he should not have counted his chickens before they hatched but thanks to my reflexes, Sully's photographic memory and Elena's intellect, we manage to rescue the cities and help assist the heroes in stopping Brainiac, though Sully lost an arm in the process.
I finally got what Sully and Elena were telling due to my obsession with treasure hunting doing more harm than good. So, years after the whole near-death experience with Brainiac, I've decided to retire from the treasure hunting business and start a business with Elena called D&F Fortunes as well as train my daughter Cassie in not just learning about the history of the world because it might save her life one day but also how to fight and shoot, just Sully did for me.
And Elena did complain about it, she was ultimately for it given her adventures with me.
Maybe I can't train her to be the next her to the level of Batman but hey, you can't just rely on luck forever.
And Luck might just be my superpower!
