Here is the next chapter. For future reference Tom Senior is Tom Riddle and Tom Junior is Harry Potter. Please read and review thanks, love Angel x

Severus walked into the hospital wing looking decidedly nervous which was an unusual feeling for him and one he wasn't comfortable feeling. "Welcome. Severus we need to talk!" she said as he looked at her.

"Is it um is it about the other night? We can forget that even happened if you'd prefer!" he said as Poppy shocked him by laughing.

"Oh shut up Severus! I loved the other night and I would if you were agreeable like to make it a regular thing. It did after all blow my mind. No what we need to actually talk about is one of your students Gregory Goyle!" she said as he blushed really red. A couple of nights ago after one too many fire whiskeys they had slept together and it had been truthfully amazing. Severus has missed the look and feel of a real woman. Poppy was young enough with curves to excite any man however given what she had just said he wasn't sure he'd want any other man to be getting excited over her. He was somewhat possessive of her all of sudden. What made it even better is that he was always up here with her anyway because of his job.

"Poppy will you date me?" he asked suddenly as she chuckled.

"Of course I will Severus!" she gushed as they shared a quick kiss.

"Please tell me what Goyle did to himself? I know his father was a menace when we were in school if you can remember!" he said as she smiled at him.

"Actually he's way better than Grant and did nothing to himself however he was brought here this morning by Tom Potter after he'd been dosed with a loyalty potion. I hadn't figured out at the time who it was keyed to but now I have deciphered it and I must say I am very confused. It was keyed to Hermione Granger of all things. What I am confused about however is how she either thought she wouldn't be caught or thought that Gregory wouldn't know what was going on within him. It really does make no sense. Thanks to Tom he was able to be treated at once and only came here as he is very allergic to one of the ingredients in that particular potion!" she said as he deeply scowled.

"I can but guess she assumed Gregory might become friends with Tom Potter and attempted to influence him to her own way of thinking so that he could then influence Tom. I am not sure I'm right but it's a good guess" he said with a frown. They called for Minerva before deciding how to go about punishing her.

"Minerva you've been called here because Hermione Granger poisoned Gregory Goyle of my house because he was allergic to one of the ingredients in the potion she gave him likely in his morning tea or something. She used a loyalty potion on him keyed to herself. Today after lunch he was cleared of the potion so it's now no longer in his system. What would you suggest we do as a punishment to her? I would suggest a detention but I don't think it will get through to her. I mean in her last one she nearly seriously harmed us both!" Severus said as she sighed deeply. Minerva looked very furious indeed.

"She leaves me no choice but to remove one hundred points from Gryffindor and block her from the library until January. She thinks she knows so much than she'll be able to do fine without access to many different books than won't she. Also she will serve a week's detention here with you Poppy and you can give her the most disgusting jobs to clean up or whatever you think is acceptable. I will send for her now and she can come here and answer for herself!" she snapped nabbing a student who happened to be walking past and getting her to send for Hermione. Hermione was in class when she was summoned to the hospital and was very confused. She entered and found Minerva, Poppy and Severus all looking at her in fury.

"You sent for me Professor although I'm not sure why as I'm not sick!" she said looking highly confused.

"Miss Granger you are here to explain why you poisoned Mr Goyle from Slytherin!" Minerva snapped as Hermione jumped a bit from the yell she'd let off.

"I didn't poison Goyle Professor I'd never do that. There's no point looking at me like that I swear I didn't poison Goyle. Besides which I do not have access to poisons thank goodness. I wouldn't want to!" she said in a panic. Severus could see she really did believe what she was saying.

"Miss Granger it wouldn't have ordinarily poisoned him only he was very allergic to one of the ingredients. I think the more appropriate question right now is why you wish him to be loyal to you?!" he asked as she gasped realisation coming to her face.

"Well that's stupid! What an idiot! What kind of idiot drinks a loyalty potion knowing they are allergic to the damn ingredients? That is reckless and he has only himself to blame for that one. In all honesty I didn't give it to him and it's not my fault if he elected to drink it!" she replied smartly feeling suddenly very smug indeed.

"Do you mean to tell me Miss Granger that the loyalty potion was not meant for Mr Goyle but that he essentially elected to drink it?" snapped Minerva.

"Well I wouldn't have put it that way myself but essentially yes. I am sorry it happened to him but he really should have been more sensible!" she snapped herself. Poppy was stunned that Goyle was simply being labelled an idiot for drinking a potion which was not aimed at him.

"Whether the potion was aimed at him or not is not the point here Miss Granger. The fact is you intended to poison someone, were not successful and almost seriously harmed Mr Goyles health!" she snapped as Hermione reeled a bit.

"Um who are you? I've not seen or met you yet. I have no idea why you keep saying poison because I don't ever intend to poison anyone. I just intended to make the person the potion was actually supposed to be for to do what I say without question so his education can always be great. Tom Potter is not the brightest tool in the shed and I intended to make him loyal to me so I could go over his homework and assignments before each lesson so his grades can be good. He cannot hope to do well alone and I won't stand for it anyway. Look I knew he wouldn't accept the help and guidance he so very much needs on his own so I had no choice but to use the potion. I wouldn't have resorted to it only that I knew he wouldn't let me teach him how to do things well without it! I mean I just know more than him and I always will and therefore it's my job to teach him well while I can" she said as Poppy reeled.

"Less of the cheek girl! I am Madam Pomfrey the school healer or doctor to you I guess. I care for all of the sick and needy pupils in the school. If I ever and I mean ever catch you poisoning someone ever again you'll be expelled so fast your head will spin. FYI GIRL giving someone a potion who is not aware of it is poisoning no matter the potions intentions. He was very stressed out when he didn't need to be. If Tom Potter had not been so on the ball it would have been very different indeed as Mr Goyle could have been in a coma for quite some time. I can see you didn't think about that. I can see you don't think about much you do, do you? You will spend this week in detention with me. Also until January you are hereby forbidden from accessing the library and you may not ask anyone else to get you a library book either. You think you know so much than you will be fine without them!" she snapped as Hermione gasped and fainted. She was fed a quick potion to heal her and placed in a bed to rest for a while. When she came to she asked why Madam Pomfrey was bothering to care for her at all.

"Miss Granger it is my job to care for all the students of this school even those that are intent on being as bold as you. Rest in this bed until your detention tonight. While you are resting you may think of why your actions were so bad. I expect you to apologise in a heartfelt manor to Mr Goyle when you can. If I have not heard that you have done this you will have detention with me until you do!" she said seriously. Hermione looked genuinely stunned. He was just a Slytherin member why did he even matter so much. What's more he wasn't Tom Potter so did he even really matter at all. To Hermione of course if weren't Tom Potter you'd never really matter. She couldn't believe he'd been told today that the only damn reason his spell hadn't worked out is because he'd put too much magic into it. What was that all about? He was supposed to be stupid! Dumbledore had told her that it was highly likely he would be but it didn't seem to be working out that way much. She hated not knowing things on principle. She didn't want to be expelled though so she'd need to do something else. Professor Dumbledore had explained to her about house elves and while she'd not been happy at the beginning she was doing ok now. She might even get one to spy on Tom for her and tell her what he did all the time. It might make things easier and this way she'd look less suspicious. Yes as soon as her detentions were over that's exactly what she'd do.
