Cedrella entered the office of Minerva slipping through the open portrait hole behind her desk which led directly to the back of some paintings in the Gryffindor common room through which Minerva often watched her house unaware. The twins had never noticed it as it wasn't on the map as the marauders had never found it. Cedrella was given some snacks and a cup of tea whilst she watched the common room. She was stunned to see a gorgeous Caribbean girl kiss Fred soundly as he smiled brightly at her. They exchanged I love yous and left the common room hand in hand together. Then Percy entered the common room loaded with books. He nearly couldn't see where he was going as his books fell onto the desk before him with an audible thump.

Lavender Brown came downstairs wiping at her eyes with a tissue. She'd been crying and it would seem was finding it hard not to cry again. She approached Percy after spotting the golden P on his chest when someone had pointed him out to her. The fact that someone had needed to point out who he even was, was already a bad sign in Cedrella's book but she would wait and see what he did with the problem in question. The Gryffindor common room was certainly cosier then Slytherins one but it was also rowdier. Lavender nervously approached Percy who didn't even look up when she stopped near him. They were a bit away from Cedrella so she moved to behind a different portrait to be closer to their position so she could hear what was said.

"Prefect Weasley I really need your help. I'm so very homesick! I really miss my mummy and I'm always getting lost on the way to Transfiguration class. Professor McGonagall is so nice I don't want to let her down!" she panicked sobbing as he looked up seemingly in surprise.

"I'm assuming you're only disturbing my studies because you couldn't find anyone else. This is not Hufflepuff you silly little girl get over yourself. They might be all fluffy and silliness down there but up here we are brave and being brave means not being homesick. You'll get no cocoa and cuddles here so it's time to cut the apron strings and grow the hell up. As for Transfigurations class I cannot understand why she expects first years to find it without a damn map bloody fool. Basically go to the second floor and you'll pass the statue of Mildred the Foul and her classroom is right beside it you cannot miss it" he snapped irritated at having been cornered the second he entered the damn common room. He loved being a prefect but did hate that he never got any peace.

"What does that statue look like?" she asked as he exhaled really loudly.

"How stupid can you get? It says Mildred the Foul on it on a plaque. You really cannot miss it unless your eyesight is awful!" he snapped very angrily making her jump as she burst into tears because he was shouting at her so aggressively.

"But I really do miss my mummy. Should I write her and tell her that do you think?" she pressed once more hoping he'd be able to at least help her somewhat and also thinking in her head that this question wouldn't make him shout. That was a very futile thought.

"And give your mummy unnecessary anxiety she doesn't need? I think not! Do you want to be the cause of illness for her? If she spends all of her life worrying about you in school she'll have no quality of life herself. If you're not happy you're not in Hufflepuff speak to the headmaster about it. If you don't mind I have studying to do so please go and bother someone who has the time to care!" he said with a sneer as Cedrella visibly reeled and Minerva joined her after her own lesson was done.

"How was it?" she asked carefully.

"If you don't own a damn pensive I'll send for mine because you need to see this whether or which. I am physically disgusted! I intend to remain here for the rest of the afternoon and watch him" she said icily as Minerva took her own pensive out of the cupboard and viewed all he had said so far and emerged looking apoplectic with rage.

"Gryffindor my arse! It looks like he left his bravery in the toilet where pieces of shit like him belong. I am so sorry for saying that Cedrella but I will be instituting new rules in Gryffindor forthwith and I will be much more present there as it's clearly needed. No one should ever be told they need to be rehoused simply for being homesick. He has disgusted me more than I ever thought he could and that is saying something because he really does have fantastic grades! What an utter failure!" she snapped as Cedrella watched her slightly amused. It was after all refreshing to see someone feel the same way as her.

"Usually I would say not to call my family members pieces of shit but he did earn that title so I will let it go. Please go now and make sure that poor girl is ok. He and I will be talking in the evening let me tell you!" she thundered as Minerva nodded once and left. The more Cedrella watched the worse it became. He was very resentful of anyone ever asking him for help. When a third year approached him for help and he refused to give it to her she said her friend in Ravenclaw told her that their prefect is always available for them no matter what. He then told her to go and be in Ravenclaw if she liked it that much and to stop bothering him. As the day wore on more and more people asked him for assistance and more and more angry and impatient he would become. He told anyone who asked him anything that they weren't real Gryffindor's for bothering and needed to be rehoused at once. When Minerva entered to console Lavender he left going to his dorm room where he couldn't be disturbed by her or anyone else. His behaviour was cowardly at best.

He didn't deserve that title and Cedrella witnessed him not only lording it over his entire family who were currently present at least but threatened Ron saying that if he didn't sit up and fly right he'd call her to sort him out which was for Cedrella the last straw. She had Minerva take her to the house and entered it regally looking around carefully. When she spotted Ron all of the colour drained from his face as she used a finger to beckon him forward. He really did look terrified and she sighed when she saw it.

"Ronald Billius Weasley! In future when your grandmother surprises you; you will look happy to see her. Congratulations for getting into Gryffindor I am so very proud of you. I love you Ronnie!" she said hugging the stunned Gryffindor boy as she did it in such a way which didn't draw too much attention to them at all for which he was relieved.

"PERCIVAL IGNOTIUS WEASLEY WITH ME NOW!" she thundered as he was walking down the steps to re-enter the common room again having assumed Minerva was now gone and it would be safe. Everyone turned to look at him stunned when she stunned him very lightly and bound him in ropes before magically putting flashing beacons on his form all over him. The twins attempted to stop laughing but found that they couldn't even more so when she subtly winked at them before refocusing on Percy again.

"Everyone listen up! This here is my grandson Percival Weasley and he is a sore excuse for a prefect if there ever was one. On these beacons are all the things he cannot help with because he is completely incompetent and as selfish and arrogant as it gets. As he has embarrassed and hurt all of you I am doing the same thing to him. It is the only way he will learn. You will help anyone who asks for it or so help me Merlin I will physically take and burn every damn book you own. Never has someone shamed the Weasley family so much in all of my life!" she thundered hanging him off a balustrade which stuck out of the ceiling at an angle. He would be there for all of the night and all of tomorrow as well as her spell could only be negated by her as a senior Weasley family member. He'd miss all his classes tomorrow and would in fact have to deal with the repercussions of that or would have at least until Minerva entered demanding he be let down at once. Cedrella looked at her for a moment before nodding and bringing him down. She removed all of the beacons and the ropes binding him.

"Percival Weasley for failing to institute the office of prefect even remotely well you are hereby no longer a prefect for Gryffindor. Also for your conduct today alone you leave me no choice but to remove one hundred points from Gryffindor for your utter failure to do anything required of you remotely right. Furthermore considering you cannot remain loyal to your own house advising everyone and anyone to find another house you will be resorted and can no longer call Gryffindor your home. You let us all down when we needed you the most. When the tough got going you ran like a wimp and put everyone down! Come with me immediately as you no longer deserve to be a Gryffindor" she snapped as he stood up so fast it almost made her head spin but didn't.

"I will speak to the headmaster about this and we will see just in which house I belong. He loves Gryffindor more than anything else and he will never agree to this. You will fail miserably!" he spat as both Cedrella and Minerva went with him to see the headmaster. Dumbledore was in his office when they arrived and was apprised of the situation and frowned deeply.

"Mr Weasley you have really let me and your own house down. Minerva is right technically that you no longer deserve to be a Gryffindor but I cannot see you thrown out of your house like that. It is the best house after all no offence meant to you Cedrella of course. You should know Cedrella here was one of our best prefects and head girls. Everyone could learn something from her even you. Having said that I don't feel it is up to me whether you should be resorted or not do you?" he asked as Percy looked at him confused.

"Oh for Merlin's sake I merely told people they should be rehomed for constantly asking me stupid questions such as what does Mildred the Foul look like or how to get to damn Transfigurations class. Perhaps if the first years were given a map they wouldn't always screw up so much and disturb my study!" he said just as his parents who had been summoned came through the floo Molly bristling at the sight of Percy. Dumbledore cast a silencing charm over them allowing them all some privacy while they dealt with things as he thought it best.

"Tell me Percy what did the twins do now?" she asked sounding very tired already.

"Your problem Molly is you never want to see an issue when it's front of your damn face and I am tired of it. As they are not here it should have been obvious they did nothing wrong but it wasn't which really doesn't say much about you now, does it? Not everything which goes wrong is down to them and if you'd open your damn eyes every once in a while you'd see that! No one said they're perfect I know damn well they're not but you need to get a grip and quickly. Look into this pensive and you will see exactly why you are here!" Cedrella snapped as Molly further bristled.

"Well usually they are the ones in trouble. I will see it now. Come on Arthur!" she snapped as they entered it and emerged a few moments later both very red faced.

"I can't believe you've let me down like this Percy. My own mother was head girl and I was never prouder to be head boy when my time came. Yes I wasn't in Slytherin like she was but I was head boy too and she loved me for it. No one is ever going to say being a prefect is easy because it isn't. It eats up into much of your studying time and sometimes you do have to answer many stupid questions a lot of the time but you do so proudly as it is your duty. I have seen enough. Either you are resorted or you will be formally withdrawn from school and home schooled by myself or your mother. That choice is your own. Choose carefully!" Arthur snapped so angry he even managed to make Molly gulp.

She'd never seen him like that before and to be honest part of her was turned on although she knew she shouldn't be as it wasn't appropriate in that moment but damn he'd looked sexy as hell when he said it. Clearing her throat she glanced at Percy with sad eyes telling him he'd let her down and she was bitterly disappointed after which Cedrella laid into her for spoiling him while her other children had gone without. She told them about the Black Family funds and what she'd done for Fred and George and Ron. She emphasised Ron needed his parents to acknowledge him before they forgot him completely. Molly broke down at that. When she was having Ron an error at the hospital had led to them telling her he was a girl and although she'd never shared that with anyone else asides from Arthur she was utterly heartbroken when he was born and suffered extreme postnatal depression over it. She'd never fully been able to bond with Ronald and it had shown. Actually she'd always hated the name Ronald and only gave it to him because she was so angry with everyone that he was a boy. She severely regretted it now. She did love him and would need to seriously work on it. She'd need to write to him about all the things he liked and learn her son properly. She was very sorry indeed. Percy was resorted the hat choosing Hufflepuff as they would teach him the most. He would be embraced with love down there and they would not judge him. They all unified no one ever going against another house member. They wouldn't ask why he was now a member of their house but accept him with open arms loyal even to a fault. It would change him for the better though and teach him much needed lessons. All was well again for now.
