'Tiffany's Diary, August 25th. It's been a few weeks since he overdosed on those sleeping pills. I'm still a bit traumatized from seeing him on the floor and blood on his head. God, it's bothering the shit outta me!
Last week, he asked me if I was going to leave him, which I told him no. I wouldn't leave him for anything. Unless he's cheating on me, then I'm never going to let him go. He's gone through enough shit in his life. The last thing he needs is for his girlfriend to leave him.
I am seeing some sort of progress though, for better or for worse. I'm just glad he willingly went to two of Howard's therapy sessions. But unfortunately, he's gonna be on vacation for about two months. I'm not sure what kind of vacation he's taking. Maybe it's a business trip? I wouldn't know.
But even if Justin's showing some progress, I still have many concerns. He keeps mentioning the woods out of nowhere. I have no idea what that means, but I can only make assumptions that he's not getting outside enough. But thankfully, his suicide watch has been expired since our last session. He's able to get out of the house and live his life like normal.
I'm still wondering what's even going on. I think there's someone online harassing him. I keep seeing him on his phone, looking like he's texting someone out of rage. Damn it, babe. You need to put the phone down and spend more time with me. After what Nikki told me last week, I've been looking into a two to six week institution. I found a place right above Little Rukk called Blackwing Mental Hospital. It's in a nice, quiet mountain town.
It's a few hours away, but if things start to get too out of hand, I may get him admitted for serious treatment. I don't want him to suffer anymore, but I don't want to lose him either. Love you, JD. Hope you start to feel better sooner than later.'
Justin woke up, feeling like he wanted to have a productive day for once. It had been over a week since he was let off of the suicide watch, as ordered by Beckman. It felt good knowing he could be left alone again. No Tiffany or Nikki to pester him.
Tiffany was at work today, so he was home alone. There was nobody there with him. It felt so barren in his house, especially without Momo there...
Damn, it's so lonely without my cat-girl here. I should really ask Vinnie how she's doing with her new house-cleaning service.
"Shit. I'm bored!" he exclaimed.
He knew he wasted plenty of time sitting by himself and continuing to look at his phone. He then figured he should go out today, get some fresh air, and maybe some fresh food.
He got dressed, but he didn't wear his usual, purple button-up. Instead, he grabbed a plain black t-shirt and blue pants. For some reason, he didn't feel like wearing his usual outfit for today. It felt out of style.
Regardless, JD headed out of the house, turned his phone on 'do not disturb', and began wandering towards the town area of Commotion City.
"I think I'll grab a bite to eat first." he said, heading towards the convenience store. Usually, he's go to McDicky's, but he wasn't in the mood for fast food this time around. He needed something a little less processed.
So, he went to the local gas station/corner store outside of his neighborhood. Before he went in, he saw something rather interesting on the daily newspaper.
"What the..." he said, reading the headline that said 'Mr. Perv Strikes Again! Another Unit Of Illegal Porn Distributed on the Dark Web. CCPD still on the case.'
Looking at the picture of the man in a gimp suit sent chills down the 23 year old's spine. Somehow, that gimp looked a tad familiar. Like he had seen it during the darkest era of his life.
Feeling uneasy, he walked into the store, trying to disregard the creepy photo he saw.
This is my first real day out in a while and already I'm being reminded of shit...
JD went down the aisles, hoping to find himself a snack. This store had snacks, slushies, and even a rotisserie of hot dogs.
"Ugh... I don't know what I want." he said, having trouble making a decision.
As he was browsing the aisles, still in search of a decent snack, he ran into an old friend. It was a guy who he hadn't seen in months.
"Connor?" he said, acknowledging the blonde pizza boy wearing a blue outfit.
He turned around, surprised to see his friend after a long time.
"Yo, JD? Is that you?" he greeted, giving him a high five.
"Yeah. What are you doing here?"
"I'm just here to get me some chips, and maybe a candy bar for my girl."
Oh, right. He's still with Gina. I'm glad he didn't get her pregnant, as far as I know.
"Cool."
"So, what about you? You haven't hit me up in months. What's going on?"
Justin knew Connor was a loyal friend, but he neglected to tell him anything as of late. He wondered if he should tell him about what had happened weeks before.
"Nothing much. Just taking care of Tiffany and stuff..." he said, masking his emotions about the recent events.
"Ah, gotcha. Well, since we're already here, you wanna stop by the bank with me? I'm meeting Gina at her father's house and I was gonna cash my check on the way there. I can give you some money, if you need it."
He agreed to it. Connor still had that pizza delivery job. It was good to know that he didn't give it up to become a horrible white rapper. Even if it wasn't the most exciting occupation, it brought in an income nonetheless.
They got their stuff, Justin getting a bag of potato chips and Connor getting a bag of spicy tortilla chips, an energy drink, and a chocolate bar for his girlfriend.
Once they got outside, Connor offered to let JD ride in his car with him: A blue sports car with a 'Chester's Pizza' logo on each side.
"Come on, bro. Let's go to the bank. Gotta cash that check and see the girl." he said, getting into the driver's seat.
He got in, knowing that this was the first time riding with his cool friend in his rather fancy car. He sat in the passenger seat, admiring the dashboard and interior of the car.
"Nice ride, Pizza Boi." he said, complimenting him.
"Thanks, bro. I got a promotion from Chester's, which came with the new ride. Got that new car smell and everything."
He sniffed the air, noticing that it smelled pretty fresh in there. Ah, new car smell. A classic obsession with car enthusiasts.
They took off, heading towards the bank in the downtown area.
"So, can I ask you something?" he said to his friend, who was still driving.
"Sure, what's up?"
"Do you ever have an addiction?" he asked.
Connor glanced at him, not knowing what he meant exactly.
"An addiction to what? Drugs, drinking, gambling, fucking?"
"Uh... No, social media."
He automatically knew about this. It was a popular addiction in the modern age.
"Ah, gotcha. Well, yeah. A lotta people do, actually. Gina is on her phone a lot, though I think she just looks at new music to find. She loves that skater punk shit."
He sat there, twirling his thumbs. His body language said a lot about what was going on.
"Are you addicted to social media?" the pizza boy asked.
"Um, no. I'm not. It's just..."
"Just what? Your family doesn't like what you post?"
Oh jeez. He already has an idea.
"That and Tiffany keeps making assumptions about me. She tells me I'm on my phone too much and I'm making sad facial expressions or some shit. Not to mention: Aiko's been sending screenshots to Jessie about my venting posts on QuickiePic. She needs to lay off of me."
Hearing Aiko's name triggered several flashbacks for Connor. He remembered when he messed up during their vacation on Inna De Poona. He remembered having sex without using protection, which resulted in her mental decline and attempted suicide. It was a reminder of his past mistakes and old habits of not using a condom.
"Y-Yeah. I haven't seen her since you were in that coma. How's she been?" he asked, wanting to hear an update about the Japanese teacher's current life.
"She's been doing great, actually. She's not even a teacher anymore. She's a camgirl named Allison Chainz and she brings in more money than Glenberry ever gave her."
The blonde pizza boy chuckled, thinking that was a funny way of getting promoted.
"Allison Chainz, eh? That's a pretty cool name. Reminds me of a rock band or some shit."
Heh, yeah. Sounds like a cool name for a rock band, or a grunge band.
Connor eventually made it to the bank, ready to cash his check from his pizza delivery job. Him and Justin went inside and began to wait in line.
"Ah, this gonna be a minute." the pizza boy said, not being the most patient person.
JD looked around, taking in the view of the environment. He noticed that one of the ATMs was out of service, looking like it was singed from a fire. It was all black and burnt, like charcoal. He wondered what could have happened.
The bank probably caught fire or some shit.
As him and his friend were waiting, there was a sudden burst coming through the main entrance. Three people wearing ski masks and black clothing barged in, two of which holding guns and the other holding an odd-looking melee weapon, which resembled a sex toy.
"Nobody moves muscle! This is stick up. Get on the ground, dumb peasants!" a gruff male voice shouted, sounding as if he were from Eastern Europe.
Everybody got on the ground, frightened at these bank robbers. This was the first time JD ever dealt with something like this. It was a scary situation to be in. His anxiety was through the roof.
Connor, on the other hand, knew not to make any sudden movements or do anything stupid.
"Vlad, find button to open the vault." one robber stated.
"Don't say my name, peasant! It'll make them find me easier." the other male stated, beginning to argue with the other robber.
The third robber, who had a feminine appearance and held a melee weapon, just sat there crossing their arms.
"Are you two going to stand there or are you going to get money?" they said, sounding like a female.
Okay, so two guys and one chick. They sound like they're Russian or something. I guess this is some of those Russian mobsters I hear about...
"Nyet. We're getting money as soon as Vlad here stops fucking around."
"You said my name again, idiot! Mother Russia should be ashamed to have you as one of their own."
"You just said Mother Russia. That'll narrow search, da?"
Connor stared at them, knowing what was happening. It could easily be a life or death situation if they became angered enough.
He turned to his friend, quietly speaking to him.
"Listen, JD. If we don't get out of here alive, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry about what I did to Aiko last year."
He rolled his eyes, knowing this was all old news. "Dude, relax. We'll make it out of here if we keep out mouths shut."
"Yeah, but still, if we don't, I wanna say my last words before we die."
The feminine robber turned their head to them, overhearing the muttering sounds.
"I suggest you keep those mouths shut. We're just here for money, not family drama shit."
However, the robber saw them and looked directly at Justin. Even though he felt like he somehow had a connection with this stranger, he kept his mouth shut regardless to avoid being assaulted or killed.
"Okay, Madame. We got the money. Let's get outta here!" one of the robbers shouted.
"Da."
They left the bank. The bank tellers already called the police, but seeing how incompetent CCPD tended to be, they already knew that they wouldn't be there on time to take any actions. They got away with the money.
Everyone got up, thankful that nobody was hurt. It was still nerve wrecking, but at least they took the money and left. No shots were fired.
Everyone continued to take care of business, even if the bank now had much less money left. Thankfully, the check was cashed and he got twenty dollars from his hard-working friend.
After leaving, Justin and Connor were still shaken up by this sudden occurrence. There was a first time for everything, but not everyone would experience a live robbery.
"Yo, that was crazy." the pizza boy said to his mentally disturbed friend.
"Yeah, it was. But did you see that female one? Did you see the way she was looking at me?"
"Yeah. Wonder what that was about? And why did she have a dildo in her hand? The other guys had guns, but she had a rubber penis. Wonder if she wanted to fuck?"
"Connor!" he shouted, outraged at his sudden nativity.
"Just saying."
"I think Commotion City is too dangerous for me. Maybe me and Tiffany should move outta this hell hole and into a cabin somewhere."
"Yeah, you right about that. Crime's been really unpredictable lately ever since Jack Wilson dropped dead in his front lawn. Now, there's some Sicilian dude running shit around here. No doubt he's fucking things up even worse."
He nodded, knowing that this was entirely possible. However, he wasn't too familiar with the criminal underworld, as he wasn't about that life. He already had enough trauma as it is.
Regardless, this was all so confusing. The voice of one of the robbers kind of reminded him of the voice he heard during the home invasion. He was starting to make some connections as to who this person might be.
"I guess I'll see you later, bro. Gonna go meet up with Gina." he said.
"Bye, Connor. I'll make sure to text you more often. We need to go to a party sometime."
He chuckled, surprised that Justin wanted to party all of a sudden, which was something he was always opposed to doing.
"See ya, dude. Be careful out there."
They both departed, as Connor had some business to tend to at his girlfriend's house. JD, on the other hand, still felt like doing more with his time. Now that he was able to walk around freely, he knew what to do to make things fun.
"I'm gonna get fucked up." he said, heading towards a liquor store.
