Justin made his way home, ready to call it a day. The alcohol had finally worn off, leaving him with a slight migraine

"Uh... Fuck. This hurts just as bad as the head wound did."

Right before he went inside, he then decided to check his phone after leaving it on silent for several hours.

"Oh crap." he said, realizing that he had five missed calls from Vinnie.

He then decided to call him back, wondering what the beastly ginger wanted. The moment I finally put the phone down, the important people decide to call.

"Hello?" he answered.

"Hey, Vin. You called?"

"Yeah, I've been trying to call you for a few hours now. Did you forget about me?"

"No. I was just busy, that's all. But what did you need?" he said, wondering what Vinnie wanted.

"You're my best man. I was gonna invite you over to help start planning my wedding."

Fuck... I completely forgot that Vinnie wanted me to be his best man. Well, I am officially embarrassed.

"Ooh, sorry about that. I forgot."

"It's OK."

"But do you want me to come over or something?" he asked.

"I mean, if you're busy, we can do it another day." Vin stated.

Hmm... Let's see, the sun's still kind of out, Tiffany's not supposed to be home for another couple of hours, I have nothing better to do now. Nah, I'm gonna go to his house.

"Well, I'm done running errands for the day. I can come over if that's fine with you."

He was happy to hear that. He agreed to let him come over and help plan the wedding. JD then began to head to Vinnie's house, which was roughly two miles away from his.

He got there after about twenty minutes of walking. A little cardio wouldn't kill anyone. He walked up to the tan-painted house with the one palm tree in the yard.

He knocked on the front door, as the beastly ginger didn't seem to have a doorbell period.

The door was answered by a familiar Hispanic woman.

"Hey, man. Good to see you."

"Hi, Kyanna." Justin greeted his friend's new fiancé.

"Come in. Vin's in the backyard sitting at the picnic table."

He nodded, stepping in to the full house Vinnie had going on.

Christ! He's got like five different people living here. Him, Kyanna, Nora, Philly, and... Momo.

Kyanna led him to the backyard, seeing his Brazilian friend sitting down at a picnic table, accompanied by a pen and several papers scattered about.

"Look who decided to show up." the Hispanic mother said.

He smiled, happy to see his best man finally arrive. He sat down, ready to start planning the wedding.

"So..." JD awkwardly said, still pretty new to this idea.

"So..." Vin said, looking down at some paper.

"You and Kyanna are getting married, eh?"

"Yep. She's so excited to finally have a husband after all these years. But, I think she's more excited that Phillip is going to have a father."

"Y-Yeah. But, if you don't mind me asking, why did you choose me as the best man?"

The ginger looked at him, not knowing why it seemed like a big deal to his friend.

"Because I trust you? Besides, you have more romantic experience than I do. Me hooking up with Kyanna was YOUR idea, after all."

He nodded, twirling his fingers. It seemed as if Vin was so caught up in his own life that he had no idea what was happening with his.

"So, have you heard anything lately?" he asked, not being specific.

He tilted his head, not knowing what the 23 year old meant.

"Heard what? I've heard a lot of things ever since I proposed. What exactly are you talking about?"

He shrugged, thinking it was a bad time to discuss his recent suicide attempt.

"N-Nothing. It's nothing. Forget I said that."

Vinnie looked at him, seeming concerned.

"Are you and Tiffany fighting?" he asked.

"No, it's not like that. But hey, since we're on the topic of marriage, can I tell you something?" he said, trying to change the subject.

"Sure."

Justin let out a sigh, knowing this was a big step for him as well.

"So, you know me and Tiffany have been together for a long while now. And, I just wanted to get your input on something."

"Go on."

"Do you think I should... P-Propose to her?"

Vinnie gasped, surprised to hear him say that.

"Why are you asking me? That's up to you."

"Yeah, yeah. I know. It's just... I don't know if it's too soon. Me and her have been together for almost nine months now. I've made my morals pretty clear how I feel like a man shouldn't propose until at least two years of the relationship."

"Yeah, I know you're a little old-fashioned. But listen: You've technically been together for over three years. You just didn't become to committed to her until last December on her birthday."

Damn, he's kind of right about that. Me and her met over three years ago. Technically, we've been together longer than 9 months. Shit, this is just very hard to think about.

"I dunno, Vin. I was just trying to get a third opinion from my brother in arms." he said.

He smiled, liking that name. Calling him his "brother in arms" actually felt pretty good, as if it meant something.

"I think the only third opinion that would really matter is if you took it up with Ms. Jessie." he stated.

"Well, I kind of already did that." he said, referring to their family bonding in July.

"Oh really? What'd she say?"

"She... She seemed very supportive of the idea. I think she wants me to be her step son. Though, it would be kind of weird, considering that we, you know? Banged each other multiple times before. It'd be kind of awkward."

The ginger nodded, knowing how that might feel. Although Jessie was a very different person now, he could understand the uncertainty of the situation.

"Regardless, it's your choice. But, we're getting off topic. We're here to discuss me and Kyanna's wedding."

He nodded, remembering that's what he was here for in the first place.

"Right, right. Sorry."

"Don't be. I haven't seen you in a bit, so it's good to catch up."

As they began brainstorming ideas for the wedding, who should be the ring barer, and where to have the Bachelor party, the discussion continued.

"So, have you seen your brother lately?" Justin asked, referring to the blonde, tan, and rather idiotic prick.

"No, and I honestly don't care to. It seems like he's gone missing. Last place anyone saw him was at Turtle Bay Beach. He was probably there to crash Ms. Jessie's beach party. I just hope he's gone for good."

"Yeah, I understand. I heard rumors that he was stalking you and Kyanna outside of your house."

"Rumors?" Vinnie exclaimed. "You're talking to the man who had to chase that red-lipped prick out of my yard at 2 in the morning."

Justin chuckled, thinking that was pretty hilarious. God, Pablo's such a dumbass. Wouldn't doubt that the motherfucker fell into a ditch and died.

"So, how's Momo been?" he said, bringing up a more important question.

"She's been good. She should be home in an hour or so. She's still out cleaning people's houses. She's a good maid, you know?"

Justin began to feel a bit uneasy. He remembered the day Momo randomly left, leaving an empty void in his house. Shortly after, he asked Tiffany to live with him, which she happily agreed to.

"Does she ever talk about me?" he said, asking another serious question.

"Does she talk about you? Justin, you're all she ever talks about. She talks about how you were nice to her, how she misses you, all that. She didn't leave with any wrong intentions, she just wanted to be more independent."

He nodded, already knowing this. They even discussed this in the past.

"Well, yeah. I knew that. It's just... She left so unexpectedly. I didn't think she'd ever move in with you. You've already got a full house as it is. I don't know how you even live together."

The ginger chuckled, realizing he had a point.

"It's a bit crowded, but Momo's usually gone all day. She makes decent money with this new maid job she's got going on. As long as she brings in a decent income, she's allowed to sleep here. Though, her and Nora do tend to fight over the couch a lot."

The 23 year old chuckled, realizing this sounded EXACTLY like something his cat-girl would do.

"I'm just glad that she's happy, is all. It still came as a surprise waking up one morning and realizing that she left. She even left a photo for me, which read 'Thanks for everything, Master!'. I hung that thing in the guest bedroom, still getting a warm feeling inside whenever I see it."

Vin put his hand on his shoulder, realizing he was getting a tad emotional. He reassured him that Momo was happier now.

They finished the start of their wedding plans, though there was still much more work to be done.

"I appreciate you coming over, buddy." the beastly ginger said, sounding grateful for his friend.

"No problem, Vin."

"Awe, you're leaving already?" Kyanna said, not too happy he was about to head home.

"Yeah, unfortunately. Gotta let my girlfriend know that I'm OK. I forgot to text her that I was gonna be busy."

The Hispanic mother understood.

"Well, I hope you have a good night. We need to go on a double date some time."

A double date? Like the lame kind with me and Tiffany hanging out with Vinnie and Kyanna? Fine by me.

Right before he was about to head out the door, the one who he was reminiscing about walked in...

"Master?" the girl with cat-ears and wearing a red and white maid outfit said, surprised to see her former owner in the house.

"M-Momo? What are you doing here?" he said, caught completely off guard seeing her out of the blue like that.

"I sleep here, silly!" she said, still keeping that rather childlike tone.

However, she looked at him, knowing he was still a bit hurt at her sudden departure.

"Are you still mad at me?" she asked.

"Mad at you? Momo, I was never mad at you in the first place. I just... I wish you would've told me you were going to be leaving before-hand."

"I thought I did?" she said, seeming confused.

"You told Vin that you were leaving, not me."

"Oh... I must've forgot. Sorry, master."

"I'm not your master anymore." he said, feeling hurt.

"You're not? Then... then what do I call you then?" the innocent cat-girl said.

He hesitated, still feeling the emotions coming in. "You can call me Justin like everyone else does."

"Really?" she said, not used to referring to him by his first name.

He nodded, saying it was for the best. But suddenly, Momo walked up to him and gave him the biggest hug she could possibly give.

"I still love you, Justin." she said, squeezing him.

He smiled for the moment, still happy that their friendship wasn't completely fractured even after her sudden departure. However, it was pretty surreal hearing the word 'Justin' coming out of her mouth. She always referred to him as 'Master'.

Even if that name made him uncomfortable most of the time, he still felt like that was his name to her.

"Okay, I think you can go back to calling me Master." he said, feeling kind of uneasy hearing his first name from her.

"Okay... I still love you, Master!" she said, squeezing him even harder.

This was all very wholesome. But, Justin had to head home, as he forgot to run all this by Tiffany. She was probably wondering where he went.

I hope she's not too worried about me.
