The images of the battle flashed through my mind. Elizabeth's destructive power and quick attacks were more than what I could handle. I guess it was because it was my first time accepting the help of the monster. I need to get better, to make sure that Katrina won't have to use her own dark power. Her glowing red eyes were the last image that burned in my head as I looked down at her. Only to remind myself of the dark side of her.

"Caleb"

That name pierced through my thoughts and caused my heart to beat faster. Elizabeth knew that name. I knew that name, but from where?

"Caleb"

The name wrong again through my head and I felt my fear rise with every beat of my heart. These weren't my own thoughts talking to me.

"Caleb. Are you there?"

I looked around to try and find the voice, but I could feel nothing around besides Katrina. The voice was getting louder in my head. It was beginning to hurt my head just having that name run through my thoughts. Trying to think of something else only caused more pain to pulse from my head through my body.

"Caleb. I need you to listen to me."

A ring began in my ear and began to blur out the noise of the forest. Even the sound of my beating heart began to fade behind the ringing and the pounding that was in my head, causing me to try and reach into my head to rid it of the pain, but there was no escaping it.

Ringing took over everything and my head grew heavier. My eyes grew heavy too and I slowly lost the real world and fell into the world of ringing.

I could hear sirens wailing in the background. Flashes of red and blue passed over my closed eye lids. I felt pain throb from my head and neck. I heard metal clicking and hinges moan as a door opened, letting the sirens wail burst into my ears and the lights to flash even more into my eyes.

Opening my eyes I saw policeman fighting hard to redirect traffic and cause everyone to back away from the car I was in. Through barely opened eyes, I could see my mother crying as the EMT's wrapped her in blankets and took care of the minor injuries. I was still trapped in the car. The crushed car.

My father was in front. His head resting against the steering wheel. Ever still as I sat in the back seat as the more policeman worked hard to cut me free from the car. Feeling tears stream down my cheeks helped me to know of my sadness, but I didn't feel the urge to cry though.

I was sat down next to my mother in the back of the ambulance. My mother wrapped a blanket around me and brought me close to her. Her own tears beginning to stream down my head and adding to my own. I sat there in shock as I stared at the crushed car as the policeman pulled my father's body from the car. Most that approached the car saw his mangled body, gave a small sigh and shook their heads in a small notion of despair.

My mother gasped as she watched them cover his body with a white cloth. She held me tighter and said," Listen to me Caleb. Don't look over there sweetie. It will be okay"

Her voice hung in the air as the memory slowly faded to black, like the ending of a movie scene. I was left alone in the dark staring at a mirror. I saw a my favorite pokemon. Lucario. A little beat up, but still ready as ever. Wait. I lifted a hand and the lucario followed.

"My name is…"I started, but the Lucario answered, "Koro."

I looked down at human hands and then looked up to see my human face staring back at me. The Lucario was gone. I looked down again and saw myself as Koro. Scars, scarf, and all. My mind felt as if a huge gate of water had opened within it. All the old memories were settling with the new ones. I felt dizzy as the memories began to melt together and become one mind, but nothing was set I. Stone besides the memories of Koro that were like stone, it the new or old memories that flooded in filled in the cracks that Koros memories couldn't.

From the cave of memories in my head, I heard a faint call echo against the walls. The echo continued to build until I woke with a huge burst of energy. I stood and felt my heart race within my chest. It took a a few moments for me to recognize my surroundings. I saw the same hut that Nidoking had first talked with us. A small fire was crackling in the center of but with a small pot hanging above the flames as a soup looked to be ready for eating. My stomach growled at me to remind me of how tired I was from the fighting.

I leaned over the pot and smelled the spicy brew and felt the hunger set in. I stopped myself from reaching for a small bowl that was set near the pot. I heard shuffling near the entrance of the hut and saw Carter poke his head through the opening with all of his extra energy. He saw me sitting near the fire and quickly slipped back out. Through the fabric I heard him yell that I was awake followed by rustling feet approaching quickly.

Katrina was the first to enter, followed by Zeina and the nidoking. Katrina quickly dropped down to look at my bandages that covered my burns and bruises. I heard Zeinas once, but I couldn't understand what she was saying.

"Koro. Koro? Are you listening?" She asked with her words finally registering in my head. I felt confused as if I was meeting her for the first time.

"I need to know what happened down there. What happened after we blacked out? Do you know?" She asked as everyone took a seat around the small fire.

I felt their wanting stares rest on me. I looked at each of them and saw flashes of their pale faces and blank stares from the cave. I sighed and knew there would be no point in hiding what happened down there.

I could only stare at the fire as I told everyone what happened down in the eevee's dungeon. No one said a word as I explained how they were forcing dark substance into people and they all began looking at the fire when I spoke about them receiving the same treatment. The air went stale as I took a moment for everyone to process what I told them. Just telling the story caused my memories to flare of the fight or the beat down the I received from Elizabeth.

"S-so does that mean that we are become fallen? Are the ones we pulled from the dungeon gonna fall?" Carter asked, still not pulling his gaze from the fire.

"Taaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkeee" I heard the monster echo from the dark reaches of my mind. A flash of the pain in my shoulder were brought back from Elizabeth's bite.

"Prrrrroooooootteeeeccct" It said as the memory of relief shot through my shoulder as the monster strength surged through my muscles to start another round of fighting against Elizabeth.

"Blllloooooood toooo bloooood…..mmmmuuuuuuuusssssssttt taaaaaaaaaakkkke!" The monster almost roared through my chest.

I looked at one of my bandages. The dark liquid that almost dried underneath it. It didn't take the dark crimson shade of regular blood, but resembled the darkness of a night sky. I looked at the cuts and scapes that were on Carters arms and forehead. They were dried up by now, but I began to feel a dark pull towards the scrapes. I could feel the dark infection in him squirming like a parasite.

"I have an idea, but you will need to trust me Carter." I said as I stood still staring at his scars. His nervousness wasn't that hard to see, but what other choose did he have with the higher chance of becoming fallen.

I sat close to him and unwrapped one of my bandages to let the blood flow a little out of my wounds on my paw. I took Carter's arm as his breathing began to quicken. I slit his arm to make a small cut. Everyone was petrified as they watched me draw blood from Carter and stick my own bleeding hand on his new wound.

The burning pain was immediate for both of us once I connected his blood with mine, but my arm felt glued to it's spot as I felt the dark beast reach further than my own blood and ripped the darkness that was ruining Carter.

We both screamed and grunted as the monster's 'healing' process took it's course. I felt the darkness enter my body and Carter began to breathe easier like a huge weight was lifted off of his own chest, but that same weight was brought onto my chest.

I disconnected from Carter and watched as his energy returned to him and he began skipping and jumping around the hut. The color of his fur returned and he cheered happiness as everyone stared at me dumbfounded.

"It wasn't my idea, but I think I can help the rest of the people." I said as I slowly began to regain my strength to do whatever I did again for another.
