Here is the next chapter. For future reference Tom Senior is Tom Riddle and Tom Junior is Harry Potter. Please read and review thanks, love Angel x

Violet Burke was working wonders for Draco. She had this way of making him behave for small rewards and he was slowly learning to not become a carbon copy of his father. He was also learning that not everything muggle would be a problem. Tom had introduced him to the muggle version of the quill which contained a silver nib and a cartridge with ink inside it after he'd continuously pestered him to know about it. Ron, Neville and Blaise already had some Tom had gifted to them. He had only told Draco about them to get him off his back for a while. It had worked. He had even sent some to Lucius asking him to just use them before commenting on them. Of course with Lucius being subtle as a brick or at least thinking he was being subtle had everyone at the Ministry learning of them within a few weeks. Soon enough Muggleborns everywhere were being sent into London and elsewhere to purchases thousands of these quills and cartridges. One Muggleborn had sent up a shop in Diagon Alley selling this and other muggle stationary and had become a quick millionaire in their world.

Not here five minutes and Tom had already changed the way they viewed muggles. Sure it was only something as simple as a quill and ink pot now but the changes were evident. Not everyone liked using them though so on the new updated Hogwarts list they were listed as an optional alternative to traditional quills and ink. People still used those of course but now they did have choices. The muggleborn had introduced people to typewriters and everyone was stunned. They were listed at three thousand galleons a piece and of course the models he sold were vintage. It was explained how one could use them and a delighted Severus had been one of the first ones to buy one. He loved how simple it hade his note taking and loved that his hand didn't cramp so much anymore. Many of the other Hogwarts staff weren't sold on the idea yet so they did stick to the new quills and parchment. It was a start though and Tom was proud to have been behind it.

When Lucius had tried to claim Draco had discovered it after Draco had told him this he found himself with an awful case of reoccurring diarrhoea which would only present itself every time he lied thanks to something the Weasley twins had invested and given to Tom to use. Tom had decided to try it on himself first to be sure it worked. He forced himself to lie about something twice in a row to get out of a few classes he didn't like and the amazing results spoke for themselves. The twins had said the effects of it would lessen and eventually go away on their own the less the person lied however as Lucius kept lying he was shitting for days. He was sent an anonymous note telling him to stop telling lies if he wanted the pain to end the problem with that statement is that he didn't know what it was he was lying about. Eventually Draco had said Tom discovered it and not him although he did only say that to sound cool Lucius was furious. He'd gone through weeks of hell while he needn't have. What a joke.

Tom decided to wait however before introducing anything else muggle into their system. The muggleborn shop owner however did not. He now sold rulers, protractors, pencil cases which were tin showcasing peoples favourite quidditch teams thanks to some clever magic he'd employed and some solar powered calculators. Telling everyone what they did and that they only worked once magically powered by the sun was enough for everyone else to believe it. The ministry now had solar lights maintained by the ambient magic of the whole building keeping the 'sunshine' inside so those calculators could be used all the time or when needed at least. It was saving a lot of money and time for them something the current Minister hated admitting but had to. The evidence was right there and he'd look like a fool if he denied it now wouldn't he.

That evening Hagrid was allowed to bury Fluffy. He'd been asked what he would do if a massive dragon started attacking him but unfortunately he'd just proclaimed he'd love it so much as he'd always wanted one. It then transpired he had been given a dragon egg by Quirrel looking to find out how to get the stone for his master. Tom had discovered that he had the egg but decided to do nothing about it. If he was willing to be that stupid then he'd leave things be. Later on that afternoon said egg had quite obviously hatched and students everywhere outside screamed as Hagrids wooden hut caught fire. Pomona Sprout had been the one outside at the time who was nearest to his house and called everyone nearby to get inside the castle while she wrestled with the flames eventually being able to put them out with the help of Filius who had run outside the door to help her when he'd seen her outside. The baby dragon was found by an irate Filius who confiscated it sending it to Gringotts where it could grow up and eventually monitor the more superior vaults.

Minerva decided to fire Hagrid for exceptional recklessness and stupidity but was overruled by Dumbledore who instead insisted Hagrid live inside the castle in a highly monitored apartment suitable for his size. He was given new furniture and creature comforts he would need but the only animal he was allowed to keep was fang. Severus however was not so convinced. Upon Toms request he brought Tom to visit with Hagrid and while he slipped some truth serum into his tea Tom distracted Hagrid with questions of his parents. One interview later and the extent of Aragog was revealed. The Goblins were written to anonymously and asked to carefully and quietly come to the forbidden forest to kill and harvest the creatures. They could see the wisdom in it and indeed the money they would make tenfold selling the parts which needed to be sold and eating the rest. Acromantulas were actually a goblin delicacy that not many people knew about. Within a week it had been done and Hagrid hadn't even known about it yet. Hagrid found that living inside the castle was an adjustment to say the least. He was warmer and didn't get sick as much and at least he still had his job.

When Tom had asked Hagrid what he thought of Tom Riddle he'd said he assumed he was killed by something awful he'd run into in Nocturne Alley after he'd graduated. Apparently there was even a rumour that Caractacus Burke had killed him which he was shocked to hear as it had been a new thing he'd not heard before. Shelly was helping Ron to become the person he'd always wanted to be and his grades were improving because of it. Justin Finch-Fletchly had soon become a friend of theirs and some stolen clearance broths insured their cores would never be tampered with. It turned out Justin's had been when an overzealous seventh year had learned how rich he was in muggle terms and was jealous and cruel. He wound up in the hospital wing the next day with boils and welts all over his crotch area thanks to Tom. You didn't get to screw with his friends old or new and get away with it just like that. Dumbledore was stunned as Tom was not at all like he'd assumed something which grated on his nerves. He was friends with purebloods, halfbloods and muggleborns alike something someone evil never would have done. He was also angry because it felt like his magic was failing him but he had the elder wand so it couldn't possibly do that now could it? He was obviously imagining things but none the less it was driving him slowly madder the more it continued something that both death and fate watched in glee. It was after all the least he deserved.
