She and Zuko are married at a really young age (further explanation in the first chapter), but they have to part when Zuko is banished. What will become of them when the avatar returns? Zuko wants to help revive the tradition and spread it to the rest of the Fire Nation too. The Last Firebender tells a gripping story that combines elements from alt-history with a Days of Future Past main character. Follow Aang on his journey as he meets distorted versions of his former friends and enemies, while also encountering some unfamiliar faces. Can he defeat the Great Chief and return to his own world? Zuko hadn't planned on becoming such a huge part of Katara's life. It just kept...happening. Somewhere along the way, she'd become this massive vortex he was incapable of avoiding.
