The Curtain Falls...

After the relatively tame battle with the Xenos and their patron deity Hastur it was decided (mostly by Hastur) that a proper meeting should be held to fix the 'unstable' relationship the groups currently had going.

The gods suggested they return to Babel to discuss 'the future' as the King in Yellow had coined it. Hastur refused as the tower didn't have enough room for all of them, the god of shepherds said he hated hiding the truth from his followers and allies.

For this reason the Great Old One covered the entire city with all of the adventurers, gods, civilians and the Xenos included. At first they were understandingly wary of the abilities of the unknown deity.

When the cloth disappeared from their bodies they found themselves in a giant room almost as big as the city of Orario on the surface with more than a dozen circular ring shaped tables who's circumferences became larger and raised higher, the further from the center they were.

There was so much space in this room that the entire cities population was seated at the tables. Right at the center of the smallest ring shaped table sat Ray instead of Hastur. She didn't speak with her mouth but her words echoed in the minds of everyone present.

Alright, let's get the first meeting of the unified Gekai underway. My name is Ray as some of you may already know. If you have a question simply place your hand on the gem on the table and I'll be able to hear you no matter how far away from me you are." the Siren said as she began the meeting.

After a moment of shock from the audience Loki slammed her hand on the surface of the gem in front of her, "Where are we? What did the god of yellow cloth do to us? Where is he anyway and why are you starting the meeting and not him?" the trickster goddess fired off question after question at the Siren.

Ray smiled serenely until Loki was finished with her questions before speaking, "To answer your questions, I'll need everyone to pay attention. Especially the mortals as I'm about to tell you how this world came to be so this will be quite a lot of information to take in at once." The golden Siren began as the ritual circle under her seat began glowing as she activated it.

After a full explanation of the World and it's inhabitants and their true history...

To say that the people of Orario and their deities were shocked by the history that was shown to them was a massive understatement as most of them became a little scared of the yellow clothed Star God who litterally reshaped the world without much effort.

These fears peaked, when the King in Yellow appeared in the middle of the room, right next to the Siren. "So you ended up destroying and making the world we live in, huh?" said a burley dwarf woman in one of the middle rows as she placed her hand on the gem on the table.

"I suppose I am, however for now the past is irrelevant. The reason I brought all of you here is to discuss the future and the peace that we can create." The King in Yellow said as he gazed over the collective people present.

"All in attendance, please place your hand on the gem and make your request known, and I shall make it so if it is within reason, and in turn I will request what the Xenos would like to have." Hastur said as he looked at his flock before all the deities placed their hands on their respective gems at once.

A normal person would have been overwhelmed and driven insane by the shear number of requests made by those in attendance. The Great Old One was not normal by any stretch of the imagination, he comprehended the requests as soon as they were made and sorted them into groups for simplification purposes.
After a while people and business owners became brave enough and made their requests known as well. Hastur was not burdened by the people as he knew his request would be rather difficult for them to achieve, but he also knew that it was possible. That was all the Great Old One needed.
After all the requests were finished, the King in Yellow clapped his hands and said, "It is done!" in a loud voice. "Now that your requests have been completed, I have a request of my own." the adventurers seemed worried as did the civilians present, while the deities seemed interested.
"I request that the Xenos be allowed to live on the surface alongside the mortals who call Gekai home." The Great Old One started his request to the shock of those listening. The only ones not shocked were the Hestia Familia as they had spoken to the Xenos before and knew of their desire to live on the surface alongside people.
"That they be treated as the rest of the mortals who can guide those less experienced adventurers to the hidden villages on the deeper floors where they can find safety and rest before continuing their journey deeper into the dungeon." Hastur finished with an offer for aid of the dungeon diving Familia's.
Finn looked at the rest of his Familia who were present, and unspoken conversation happening between them before he placed his hand on the gem in front of him. "That sounds very interesting, but what's the catch? Most deities would ask much more than you did, so please tell me. What exactly do you want?"
The captain of Loki Familia's words rang through the silent room. Everyone was shocked into silence by the Pallum's words and underlying accusation. "You think I'm deceiving you, I assure you I have no ulterior motives. Everything I desire is already in my possession, what I desire now is the fulfillment of my flock's desires. That is all." he finished as he looked at his followers.
Before anyone else could speak, the leader of the guild stood up as he placed his hand on the gem in front of him. "These terms are acceptable. The guild will look into having the terms written up by the end of the week for all of the Familia's to come to an agreement." Uranus said as he looked directly at the Great Old One.
Hastur waved a cloth covered hand and before every deity a stack of papers appeared, "This is the agreement discussed here, I've left several blank pages for any additional terms any of you wish to add or wish to discuss by the end of the week." The yellow clothed Star God said before continuing.
"As I stated before, everything I desire is already in my possession, for this reason I shall not interfere with your children or your business unless it harms my flock directly or indirectly." Hastur finished as he gazed at everyone before he seemed to rise without the aid of arms or legs.
"Now I believe it is time for all of you to return to Orario." the King in Yellow said as he wrapped all those present in the infinite yellow cloth before teleporting them into their homes.

After the terms and conditions were ironed out, The Hastur Familia became official in the guilds records and the Xenos were permitted to purchase a piece of land that they could build their own home on. The Xenos ended up building a bizarrely shaped mansion that people were advised not to stare at for too long.

They named it Carcossa in honour of their patron deity's original home dimension. Soon after the mansion was built the Xenos began diving the dungeon and assisting the adventures who dived into the deep floors.

Within the terms established by the guild, no Familia was to dive deeper than the 90th floor because it is from then on that the floors were not guarded by monsters but rather by eldritch abominations that could not be killed by mortals under Hastur's control.

As such it was no surprise that the first to reach the 90th floor was the Loki Familia who were in an alliance with the Hestia, and Hastur Familia's at the time. It was a hellish treck to the lowest of the conquerable floors and would not have been possible without the assistance of the Xenos.

At this point in time the Hestia Familia had become a 1st class adventurer Familia as were the Hastur Familia who technically already were by the time they had their first clash with the Loki Familia. But weren't registered with the guild at the time.

The adventure continued like this for many years. Ais eventually worked up the nerve to ask the Xenos if she could have a meeting with the King in Yellow, as she had something to discuss with him. Though she worked with the Xenos, the sword princess still hated them for being monsters because a monster took her mother from her.

The Xenos were happy to help and organized the meeting immediately... because Hastur seemed to just appear out of thin air on a throne that most certainly wasn't there before. "What do you need of me child?" spoke the Great Old One as he looked at the blonde haired swords woman.

I want to know about the One Eyed Black Dragon. It took my mother you see and I want to get her back." Ais said without any emotion as she answered the question." Hmm, the One Eyed Black Dragon, was a Star Spawn awoken from its slumber by the Zeus and Hera Familia's during their expedition to the lower floors."Hastur began.

"If you recall the warnings, you'd know that they can take any form because of their amorphous bodies. I can still sense that Star Spawn however and can take you to it." The Great Old One offered as he wasn't doing anything at the moment and had been waiting for a reason to return the wayward son to his home.

Ais agreed gladly. Hastur wrapped the 2 of them in his infinite cloak and teleported them to the Star Spawn's location. When the 2 arrived they found the dragon asleep with a blonde haired spirit sleeping in it's claws. Ais was about to call out to her mother Aria who was kidnapped by the dragon when she was young.

Hastur held her in place however as he began to speak in eldritch tongues. The dragon immediately woke up as did Aria who became terrified by the beasts awakening, instead of attacking the dragon bowed it's head towards Hastur. Soon after learning what the dragon had learned over the years he ordered it to let Aria go which it did immediately.

Hastur released the sword princess from his grasp as he wrapped the Star Spawn in his infinite cloak and teleported it to the 100th floor of the dungeon in Yellow R'yleth. The mother and daughter embraced one another for the first time in years.

Hastur then quickly teleported them to the Twilight Manor before returning himself to Yellow R'yleth. A few hours after he returned to his castle on the 100th floor, the Great Old One called for Ray, he had a job for her. One he believed only she could do.

Ray arrived quickly and bowed to her master. "What do you require of me Lord Hastur?" she asked as she looked up at him. "Ray, I want you to translate the language of the Outer Gods and use it to help Orario improve their technological defenses. I have kept this for a long time because I didn't find anyone worthy of seeing it." The King in Yellow said as he removed a black book from within his robes and handed it to Ray.

"This book is known as the true Necronomicon, it holds the collective knowledge of all Outer Gods and Great Old One's in the multiverse. It is a book of infinite knowledge from the beginning of the universe unto it's very end. I am giving this tome to you in hopes that you can help make the world a better place for all, now you have your orders. Go forth and make Orario great." Hastur finished his explanation to the young (in comparison to his age) Siren.

Ray took the book with great care before saying, " It shall be done, My Lord." she placed the book in a pouch on her back and teleported to the surface via photons.

With Ray leading the research and development of Hastur Familia's executives branch, the city of Orario experienced a technological boom that had never been seen before. They still relied on the blacksmiths expertise to help them in the engineering of new technology.

Over the years everything improved from the richest Familia's to the ordinary people on the street, who ended up working for them, this improvement in the quality of life drew people from all over to Orario. Even the former kingdom of Rakia, which used to be under the command of the god of war Ares, until Hastur turned him into a goat.

The country became a close ally with Orario as they traded technology and materials with one another soon the entire continent became a massive conglomerate of high tech equipment and social advancement. Hastur was pleased.

Gekai was at peace...Until...

*An: Thank you to all who took the time to read and/or review my story, It was kind of an experiment to see if I had any skills as a writer.

This is kind of an epilogue chapter so this will be the end unless people want me to make a sequel in another franchise. If you want it I'll try, but no promises.

Ps, Thank you to the reviewer who pointed out that Elfy was a human. I didn't pay much attention to the Loki Familia side characters and should probably fix that soon.

That is all Have a fantastic rest of your day or night depending on where you are... Sayonara
