Chapter 31: A Witch's Tail Pt. 4

September 24, 2002 – Tuesday

Halliwell Manor

Faith, Paige, Buffy and Leo rushed downstairs to find Dawn and Piper listening at the bathroom door.

"What is going on?" Paige questioned her aunt and sister. "We heard Phoebe's scream..."

"Shh..." Dawn said putting a finger to Paige's lips. "She's doing a TV interview."

"In the bathtub?" Buffy asked in clear surprise.

Piper smiled. "Don't worry she's not showing any tail." She looked at Dawn. "That Nancy O'Dell has, like, perfect teeth."

"She does," Dawn agreed.

Leo looked between Piper and Dawn with a frown. "You two can't be serious. You're risking exposure to all of us."

"Now see there's your risk-aversion side rearing its ugly head again," Piper told her husband.

"Dawn," Faith said as she looked at her wife meaningfully. "We know you and Piper cast a fearless spell."

"Not a fearless spell," Dawn countered as she smiled at Faith. "A freedom spell." She looked at Leo. "You told me and Piper to get rid of our fear so that's what we did."

"Yes," Leo agreed, he had said that, "but you both didn't get rid of it, you both just suppressed it,"

"Well, what's the difference?" Piper wondered. "Aunt Dawn and I are free to be ourselves and to help others be themselves."

"Okay, but Phoebe's self is a mermaid," Buffy reminded her daughter and sister, "and that self is about to be broadcast on the six o'clock news unless we stop it fast."

"Now, see, you're only seeing the downside here," Dawn retorted.

"What's the upside?" Paige wondered.

"The upside is Phoebe loves her job more than anything else and doing this interview will remind her of that and help bring her to her senses," Dawn answered.

"People are chewing entire species into extinction," Phoebe told the reporter. "Take Chilean Sea Bass. I have yet to even spot one. And swordfish for example, you might as well be munching on a bald eagle."

Nancy smiled at Phoebe. This had so far been the weirdest interview she had ever given. She had never done an interview when someone was in the midst of taking bath. "I, uh, I didn't realize you had such a passion for fish."

"Yeah, I do," Phoebe replied as the door opened and Dawn, Piper, Faith, Paige, Leo and Buffy all walked into the already crowded room.

"Okay, we're going to have to end this now," Buffy ordered.

"It's okay, ask one more question." Phoebe told Nancy.

Nancy smiled. "Um, well, so back to your advice to lovers, it's so real, so heartfelt, especially lately," she said. "Is there a lucky guy in your life that you get your inspiration from?"

Phoebe shook her head. "No, there's not."

"Really? Then what's with all the love columns?" Nancy said as Buffy and Paige looked at each other realizing at the same time what could get Phoebe to change back to a human and come home permanently.

Phoebe shrugged. "I don't know," she replied.

"I think we do," Buffy said. "Okay, I'm sorry, we're really going to have to wrap this up. Faith, Leo, if you two don't mind."

"Okay, come on," Leo said as he and Faith motioned for Nancy and her crew to follow them. "We'll show you downstairs."

"But we're not finished yet," Nancy objected, clearly wanting to ask another question.

"I think you are," Buffy said, a tone of authority in her voice. A tone she normally only used with her sister and daughters.

"Oh," Nancy said looking at Dawn, knowing Dawn was Phoebe's assistant. "We'll reschedule."

"No problem," Dawn said as she smiled. "Give me a call."

"Thanks." Phoebe called after Nancy as Leo and Faith herded Nancy from the bathroom.

"Alright, bye-bye," Nancy called over her shoulder.

Dawn leaned out the door and smiled. "Bye, Nance," she said.

"Bye-bye, Dawn," Nancy said glancing back at Dawn just before she and her people turned the corner heading down the stairs.

"So how do you feel?" Piper asked looking at her sister.

"Actually, thanks to Aunt Dawn," Phoebe said happily, with pure exhilaration in her voice. "I feel free. Free from the shallowness of human pursuit. From craving wealth and fame. Now all I crave is the serenity of the sea."

"Ooh, good job on the fearless spell," Paige retorted.

"What fearless spell?" Phoebe asked confused as Necron's crows land on a tree branch outside the window.

"What the heck is their problem?" Piper said as they heard a zapping noise in the hallway. "Orb Phoebe to the attic."

"Do it," Buffy agreed as she and Paige took Phoebe's hands and the three of them orbed out.

Dawn and Piper walked out into the hallway where they found Necron. Piper waved her hand blowing him up. They walked down the hall to make sure Necron was dead. Necron zapped in behind them grabbing them and then zapping out with them both.

0 – 0 – 0 – 0 – 0

Phoebe sprayed herself with a water sprayer as Faith rushed in. "Necron got Dawn and Piper."

"What?" Leo asked in clear surprise as Buffy and Paige walked over to the Book of Shadows and began working on a spell. "How long is the spell gonna take?" he asked when he saw what they were doing.

"We don't know, it's tricky, there's a lot of factors involved," Buffy admitted.

"Okay, why can't we just orb to Necron and try the vanquishing potion that Piper was working on?" Phoebe wondered.

"Because Piper was under the influence when she mixed that potion," Paige explained to her sister, "as you can tell by the lovely remains of our half-burned out attic."

"So what happened?" Leo asked.

"Well, thanks to Dawn and Piper's fearless spell," Buffy explained looking at her family. "Piper went straight to an offensive place with her explosion potion. Paige and I don't think that's the answer."

"Why not?" Faith wondered.

"It sounds good to me right now," Leo added.

"Leo, what do you know of my ancestors? Of Patty's I mean," Buffy wondered.

"Beyond Charlotte, Melinda, Grams and you of course, not very much, why?" he asked confused on the question.

"My great grandmother and my great, great aunt, both of whom Piper and Prue were named after, were killed when trying to vanquish skeletal beings," Buffy said with a resigned sigh. "I think only a Power of Three spell might have any chance of killing Necron and staying alive."

"Can you sense them?" Phoebe asked Leo and Faith.

Leo glanced at Faith who nodded. Ever since Faith had been able to sense Phoebe's need the day they vanquished the Source when he was inhabiting Cole. Faith's Whitelighter sense had expanded. She could now sense the entire family. And as a result the Charmed Ones and their family now technically had two Whitelighters. In fact Dawn herself had been re-added as Leo's charge, just the Charmed Ones and Buffy had been added as Faith's.

"Yeah we both can," he told Phoebe.

Leo nodded, "Yeah."

"Is she hurt?" Paige asked, concern flooding her voice.

"Who knows?" Leo answered. "All Faith can sense from both of them is courage."

"Lots and lots of courage," Faith added.

"Don't worry, guys," Phoebe said soothingly. "He's not going to kill them, he needs them alive if he's going to get to me."

"Yeah, well," Paige countered, "we still have to hurry before Aunt Dawn or Piper does something stupid, like get Nancy O'Dell an exclusive with Necron."

Leo sighed. "You know, I'm beginning to wonder if this whole Power of Three spell is even worth it."

"What do you mean?" Buffy wondered.

"Well, firstly, it's not really a Power of Three spell. It's more like a Power of Two and a Half spell, considering Phoebe is only half a witch. Second I'm afraid my fearless wife and fearless aunt-in-law won't let us interfere to take on Necron."

"Yeah," Faith sighed. "I've kind been afraid of the same thing. I remember how Dawn was when…" she looked at Phoebe, …"you were evil."

Phoebe sighed and nodded. "She was afraid of losing me. They aren't exactly using their best judgment right now."

Buffy glanced over at the spell on the wall. "I don't even know why they would cast that spell, you know, I could've helped them through it."

"I think we may have a repeat of a few months ago," Faith said looking at her sister Slayer. "I think both Dawn and Piper blame themselves for what happened to...Phoebe."

"What do you mean what happened to Phoebe?" Phoebe asked looking at her aunt. "What happened to me is the best thing that ever happened to me," she told them excitedly. "I am swimming with the dolphins now, I am basking with belugas."

Paige sighed. "Uh, Leo, Mom, Aunt Faith, I actually think I've got something but I need to talk to you all about it alone."

"Okay, you see?" Phoebe retorted clearly offended about being left out of the conversation. "This is exactly why I love being a mermaid. There are no secrets under the water, you know, there are no walls to keep you trapped."

"Okay, enough," Paige ordered. "Uh, Aunt Faith, Mom, Leo, downstairs." She motioned for them to follow her as she headed out of the attic.

"You guys? Wait, wait, you guys." Phoebe called after them falling out of her chair.

"If we orb Phoebe to the ocean, the second Necron is a pile of dust, she's out of here for good," Paige said as she, Faith, Leo and Buffy walked down the stairs.

"I have to agree with Paige," Buffy admitted.

Leo sighed. "Do we have another option?"

Paige shrugged. "I don't know," she admitted. "Something Nancy O'Dell said in that interview got me thinking. What if Phoebe's heart isn't as cold as we thought."

"I think Paige is onto something," Buffy agreed.

"Look, we don't have time to find out," Leo objected.

"Well, let's take the time, okay," Paige told her mother, aunt and brother-in-law. "I don't want to save both my aunt and one sister just to lose a sister."

"I don't want to lose another daughter, Leo," Buffy added thinking about Prue.

Leo sighed, "Well, I'm sorry, Paige, Buffy, that is a risk that we have to take."

0 – 0 – 0 – 0 – 0

When the quartet returned to the attic, they found Phoebe still on floor. "Alright, what'd you guys say about me?" Phoebe asked.

"I said I thought you were going to swim away the moment we save Piper," Paige replied looking at her sister. "Are you?"

"Come on, we have to hurry." Leo told them. .

Faith, and Paige take Leo's hand as Buffy takes Paige's hand and Phoebe took Faith's. When Leo orbed out, Paige let go of Leo's hand and he orbed out with only Faith and Phoebe.

"This better work." Paige said.

Buffy nodded in agreement. "I think we both know what's going on."

"Cole is the reason Phoebe is running," Paige answered as Buffy nodded. "But not because of the reason either of us originally thought."

"She's still loves him," Buffy admitted.

Paige nodded. "And that is why she is running."

Beach

"Where's Mom and Paige?" Phoebe asked when she and Faith orbed in with Leo.

Sea Hag's Cavern

Dawn glanced at Piper, who like her, was tied to a steal rack, just above the water's edge.

"I think we've given your family enough time to worry about you both," Necron told his captives with an evil smirk. "Now, call for your Whitelighters."

"Or what?" Dawn asked as the rack sank down knee deep into the water. "Oh, please, please, somebody help us, the mean demon is dipping Piper and I into the water and it's really cold."

"Attack!" Necron ordered as electric eels swim past the rack and electrocuted Dawn and Piper.

"Is that the best you got?" Piper asked with a smirk.

"Again," Necron ordered as the eels wrap themselves around the rack and electrocute Dawn and Piper again causing both women to scream in pain.

Cole's Apartment

Buffy and Paige walked in to the apartment looking for Cole. "Cole?" they called out.

"Buffy, Paige, you don't have to break into my apartment, I'm leaving," Cole told them when they found him in the bedroom packing. "I'm taking your advice, Paige."

"Don't. I've been known to give very bad advice," Paige argued.

"I beg your pardon?" Cole asked confused.

"Phoebe needs your help," Buffy told him.

"Oh, I know, that's why I'm going away," Cole replied. "It's the best way to help her. Now, if you'll excuse me." He returned to packing his suitcase.

"No," Buffy said as she grabbed his arm.

Cole looked down at Buffy's hand and the steel grip she had on his arm, the grip of a Slayer. "What are you doing?" he asked looking up at her. .

"Please, we can't let you leave," Buffy admitted.

"What kind of game are you two playing?" Cole asked with a glare at the Slayer.

"We're not playing any games," Paige replied. "Mom told you, Phoebe needs your help."

Cole looked at the two women shaking his head. "And you both need psychological help."

Buffy nodded, given everything she had been through that was probably true. Especially now she had two sets of memories. "Okay, that's probably true," she admitted to him, "especially me seeing as I have two sets of memories. A psychiatrist would very likely have a field day with me. But here's the thing. Paige and I think Phoebe's still in love with you."

Cole rolled his eyes. "Oh, yeah," he scoffed. "Phoebe hates you so much her body erupted in scales." He looked at the youngest Halliwell sister. "That's what you said this morning, Paige."

Paige sighed. "Okay, maybe an unfortunate choice of words," she admitted. "I thought Phoebe was running away because she hated you but now I think it's because she still loves you."

"You think?" Cole asked.

Paige nodded, "It's a theory. Her advice column has been obsessed with love ever since you left."

"Paige, you told me to go away, Phoebe said it, Darryl said it, I get the message," Cole admitted as he looked at mother and daughter. "Now you're changing your opinion based on a theory? That apparently Buffy supports."

"What if we can prove it?" Buffy asked.

Cole sighed, only one person could prove it and she wanted nothing to do with him. "Only Phoebe can prove that she still loves me," he told her.

"You're right." Buffy agreed as she smiled. "Open Phoebe's heart to Cole, reveal the secret that it holds, spring forth the passion of love's fire, that he may feel her true desire."

Buffy and Paige watched as an orange ring of light appeared circling Cole's head. "What'd you do?" he asked as the light hit him in the chest and entered him. Tears began to form in his eyes as he realized Buffy and Paige were right. "Phoebe."

"I guess she loves you more than any of us realized." Buffy said as the light exited Cole and disappeared.

Beach

Phoebe was basking in the sun on a rock. Leo orbed in next to her and Faith. "They're not at the manor," he told them, "I don't know where the hell they are."

"Okay, well, forget Paige and mom, let's go find Piper and Aunt Dawn," Phoebe ordered. .

"You need the Power of Three," Faith reminded her niece, "to take on Necron." She glanced at Leo and saw in his face that he was sensing what she was. "He's hurting them again."

"He wants me, I'm going alone," Phoebe informed them coming to a decision. She was not going to let her sister or her aunt die, not if she had anything to say about it.

"No," Leo and Faith objected.

"Leo, Aunt Faith," Phoebe looked at her brother-in-law and aunt. "I can't let anything happen to Piper, Aunt Dawn and their babies."

"Yeah, but Phoebe..." Leo started to object.

"You both wait here for mom and Paige. I'm going to go buy us some time."

"Phoebe!" Leo shouted as Phoebe jumped in the water and swam away.

"Should I orb after her, so she has backup?" Faith asked looking at Leo.

"Without the Power of Three it would only risk your death as well," he reluctantly admitted. "We need to wait for Buffy and Paige."

Sea Hag's Cavern

Piper and Dawn were once again being electrocuted.

"Okay, we've had enough," Piper said when the rack she and Dawn were still tied to was lifted out of the water. "The treatment of us is shocking," she quipped. "Get it? Shocking?"

"Do you two have a death wish?" Necron looked at them.

" You're not demon enough to kill us," Dawn retorted. "You would've done it already if you were."

Necron smirked. "On the contrary. I wasn't hungry until now. But it's just about my feeding time," he said as he held his hand just as Phoebe surfaced.

"Let them go, it's me that you want," Phoebe begged as the auger shell appeared in his hand.

"Oh, look out, Phoebe, he's packing the sea shell," Piper quipped.

"You know what this is," Necron said looking at Phoebe with an evil smirk.

Phoebe nodded. "Yeah. Auger shell. Sucks eternal life. Look, I will give you my immortality if you let my sister and aunt go," she begged as he made the rack fly across the water and hit the rock wall. Piper and Dawn's chains came undone and they fell to the ground. "No!" she shouted as she swam over to them.

"I promise I'll kill them unless you give me what I want first," Necron told her.

"Piper? Aunt Dawn? Are you both okay?" Phoebe asked with concern.

Piper and Dawn look down at their bleeding stomachs and then at each other before looking at Necron. "What did you do!" Piper screamed at the demon.

Necron smirked as the auger shells disappeared from his hand and reappeared on Phoebe's chest right over her heart. "Keep your promise, witch," he ordered.

Beach

Paige and Buffy orbed and found Leo and Faith waiting for them.

"Where you two been?" Leo asked.

"We forgot the vanquishing spell in the attic," Paige said as she took Leo's hand and he orbed out with them and Faith.

Sea Hag's Cavern

They orbed in next to Piper and Dawn.

"Honey, it's okay, I'm here." Leo told his wife as he knelt next to Piper.

Faith knelt next to Dawn. "Babe, I'm here."

Necron zapped Leo and Faith and they flew across the room as Paige and Buffy hid behind a statue.

"Phoebe!" Buffy shouted having spotted Phoebe and the shell that was still attached to her daughter's chest. "Paige, we got to get that off of her."

"Shell!" Paige called as the shell orbed off Phoebe's chest and onto Necron's. She took Piper's hand. "Piper, take Phoebe's hand." She watched as Piper grasped Phoebe's hand. "Prepare for a big blast. Tide of evil wash the shore, bring it darkness evermore, with all our strength we fight this fate, make this evil obliterate."

Buffy and Paige were flung across the cavern when Necron exploded. At that same moment Phoebe fell into the water as the rack that held Dawn and Piper slid into the water dragging them down with it.

Phoebe poked her head out of the water and saw Paige and Buffy unconscious nearby. "Paige, Mom, wake up!" she said as she flicked water at them with her tail. "Wake up!"

As Buffy and Paige regained consciousness they sat up a tad bit disoriented for a second. "No wonder those demons carry warning labels." Paige said.

"I did tell you." Buffy said.

Phoebe nodded, "Yes you did, Mom."

"Leo, Aunt Faith, are you both okay?" Paige asked looking over at Leo and Faith.

"Yeah, I think so." Leo said as he helped Faith to her feet.

"Where's Piper and Dawn?" Faith asked looking around the cavern.

Buffy looked around and then at the water in front of them. And then her head dropped to her chest.

"Mom!" Paige said. "What's wrong with her?"

Leo and Phoebe look at Buffy both of them instantly recognizing what happened. "She astral projected," Phoebe said.

"But there was no spell!" Paige said confused.

"I believe I understand," Leo said. "It seems Dawn isn't the only one with the power to astral project. Buffy has had it all along. When she was summoned and Patty's memories were awakened she used her own power to come to you. If Buffy had lived long enough as Patty I believe her powers have advanced back then. But instead they advance after she died while her memories and powers were asleep in Buffy's body."

Under the surface of the water, Astral Buffy appeared before her sister and daughter. "Dawn…Piper…I know why you've both been so afraid," she realized as she smiled at them. "You don't want to leave your babies the way I left the both of you. But spells won't make that fear go away, only faith will. Have faith that your destiny is different than mine. Take my hand," she said as she held out her hands to both her sister and daughter. She saw Phoebe dive under the water and she astral projected back into her body,

Phoebe pulled her sister and aunt to the surface and helped them climb out of the water. "Mom," Piper coughed as she looked up into her mother's eyes.

"Buffy," Dawn coughed as Buffy smiled and wrapped an arm around her.

"I'm right here." Buffy reminded them. "I'm not leaving either of you ever again, I promise."

"Leo, heal their stomachs," Phoebe said as she remembered the wounds on both her sister and aunt's stomachs.

Leo reached for the wound on both mothers-to-be. But before he could even heal them, something miraculous happened, they healed themselves.

"How'd you do that?" Paige asked looking at her brother-in-law in surprise.

Leo shook his head. "I didn't."

Piper smiled as she looked at Dawn's stomach. "The babies did."

"What?" Phoebe asked clearly confused.

Piper smiled as she looked at her husband. "I guess she takes after her daddy," she said.

"Uhm, Piper," Dawn said. "I don't think yours healed me though."

"What do you mean?" Faith asked concerned.

Dawn looked at Leo in understanding. "They manipulated Faith's DNA to erase her Darklighter heritage and make her a Whitelighter instead. Could they have done something similar to my baby? Making her truly…"

"Yours and Faith's daughter," Leo answered. "It is possible," he admitted. "Which means." He looked at Faith and Dawn. "Which means your baby is just as special as mine and Piper's."

"You know," Piper said still looking at her mother. "That must've been what you meant, Mom."

"What did you tell them, Mom?" Phoebe wondered.

Piper smiled as she took Buffy's hand in her own. "Mom helped Aunt Dawn and I to understand why we've been so afraid. We don't want to leave our babies without a mother."

"You both have something that I didn't when I was in your shoes," Buffy said as she brought first Piper's hand and then Dawn's hand to her lips and kissed them.

"Oh, yeah, what's that?" Dawn wondered as she looked at her sister.

"Me." Buffy said. "I'm not leaving either of you ever again."

"And me," Leo added.

"And me," Faith said.

Paige smiled, "And me."

Dawn smiled as she looked at Piper. "And you have me."

"And you have me," Piper said looking back at Dawn. They turned and looked for Phoebe to complete the sentiment and found her gone. "But not her. What do we do?"

"Nothing," Buffy replied as she looked at Paige who nodded. "Paige and I both have a feeling she'll come home."

"How do you figure?" Leo wondered.

Paige smiled. "Let's just say Mom and I have a pretty good idea about what's going on inside of her head."

Beach

Cole stood on the beach with his arms outstretched and eyes closed as Phoebe magically appeared before him. He opened his eyes and smiled.

"How did I get here?" Phoebe asked looking around.

"I brought you here," he told her.

Phoebe sighed. "This isn't happening. This can't be happening. This goes beyond stalking."

"I'm not stalking you," Cole countered. "Your mother and Paige sent me. I know why you ran, Phoebe."

Phoebe frowned. "You don't know anything about me," she said in anger.

"You thought you could escape into this big ocean," Cole said motioning toward the ocean behind her. "That the waves would wash away your pain? But they won't. Not until you admit what drove you here in the first place."

Phoebe glared at her ex-husband. "I know what drove me here," she spat. "You."

Cole nodded. "Yeah, but why?" he asked. "And don't say because you're scared of me, because you're not. Come on, you don't want to spend eternity alone just to avoid the truth. If not for me, be honest for your own sake. Don't lose yourself because of me."

"What do you want me to say?" she wondered.

"You don't have to say anything," he told her. "All you have to do to free yourself is admit how you truly feel about me. In your heart," he said tapping his chest.

The stood there, or in Phoebe's case lay there, for a moment in silence. Then Phoebe slowly admitted to herself why she had ran as her tail transformed into legs.

"How could you be so sure?" Phoebe asked as he helped her to her feet before wrapping his coat around her to cover her nakedness.

"I had a feeling," he replied cryptically thinking back on Buffy's spell that had revealed exactly how Phoebe felt for him.

"I do love you, and I always will but it doesn't change anything, it doesn't matter," she admitted. "It's over between us."

South Bay Social Services

Paige stood at her desk packing up her things and putting them into a box as her boss Mr. Cowan walked over to her. "Paige, I know I've been tough on you but I don't want you to quit," he told her. "You've got a real gift at helping people."

Paige smiled as she looked at him. "Don't worry, I'm going to keep helping people," she replied. "I just don't want to split my focus anymore. Thanks for everything." She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly as he returned the embrace.

Halliwell Manor

Phoebe sat at the kitchen table looking at a picture of her and Cole. She put it down and signed a Formal Notification of Divorce Action form.

0 – 0 – 0 – 0 – 0

In Piper's room Dawn, Piper and Buffy sat on Piper's bed as Leo and Faith watched them. They turned and walked out of the room to give the three of them some privacy.

In Piper's hand she held a photo of herself as baby with Patty. She smiled as she took the photo and stuck into her daughter's baby book.

Buffy smiled as she took the book from Piper and wrote, Grandma and Mommy. Buffy then held up another photo. This one of Piper as an adult standing next to Buffy. Piper nodded knowing exactly what her mother wanted.

Buffy smiled as she placed the second photo on the page opposite the first and once again wrote, Grandma and Mommy.

Buffy and Piper turned and looked at Dawn who held her own daughter's baby book. She stuck the picture of herself as a baby with Joyce in the book. She smiled as the words, Grandma and Mommy magically appeared in her book.

Buffy then held up another picture for Dawn to see. Dawn nodded as she looked at the picture that showed herself with Buffy.

Buffy smiled as she took the baby book from Dawn and stuck the picture in the book, once again opposite the first one. Underneath she wrote, Aunt Buffy and Mommy.

Piper and Dawn smiled at Buffy as they both wrapped their arms around one of the women that meant the most to them in the whole world.

Author's Note (8/30/22): Dawn's baby being able to heal is a small nod to something written for Charmed: Another Halliwell (that has yet to be posted). In that story there is mention of a reward where Buffy and Dawn can have a child together, magically created out of the two of them. Using that for inspiration. I remembered the updated backstory I gave for Faith where her birth father had been a Darklighter and the Elders had using magic erased the Darklighter portion of Faith making her a Whitelighter instead. So using both ideas, I decided to have Dawn's baby magically altered, either by the Elders of the Angels of Destiny or the Powers that Be (your choice on who would have done it) and made Dawn's baby carry both Dawn and Faith's DNA instead of Dawn and the unnamed sperm donor. That's why Dawn's baby was able to heal Dawn, because Dawn's baby, thanks to Faith, carries Whitelighter and Slayer DNA as well as witch.
