July 30, 14:22 EDT

Catherine Cobert has just finished announcing the resignation in protest of several Justice League members. UN Secretary-General Lex Luthor is next to approach the podium. He expresses his disappointment but this would prompt a debate from various ambassadors. Lex Luthor attempts to calm everyone down.

Zviad Baazovi, the UN ambassador from Markovia would declare that the country forbids entry to vigilantes and or heroes. As well as closing its borders to all meta-humans. By the entrance way, TerraSave member Claire Redfield looks on. Feeling uncomfortable she leaves heading out to the lobby. She leans against the wall, arms crossing over her chest glancing at the floor.

"What is the world coming to" said Claire.

"And this is why I don't like politics" said a female voice.

Claire looks up to see Alice Crock the Artemis clone wearing formal business attire.

"Alice; what are you doing here" asked Claire.

She shrugs her shoulders "working security."

"I'm surprised you volunteered" said Claire.

"I was bored need something to do" Alice said. Claire shook her head "I think you might've regretted your decision."

"Yeah, killing zombies is more fun than working security for this hot mess" Alice agrees. Claire's eyes blinked "wow, I can't believe you said that."

"You shouldn't be that surprised" said Alice.

After a brief conversation, Claire and Alice leave the UN Headquarters. Once outside, Claire would glance at Alice "I gotta ask you something."

Alice seems unsettling "if this about me, look-"

Claire chuckled puts her hands defensively "it's not that. You have very open from the start about your life. Being the clone of Artemis and that you use to been associated with the two Weskers and Excella Gionne."

Alice is about to respond but Claire would continue "and that you apologized for your actions. Ever since then, you changed your life for better."

"Oh" Alice blinked. "Then what were you going to ask me?"

"What do you know about the meta-human trafficking" asked Claire.

"The only thing I can tell you is that children and teens are being abducted to be experimented on" Alice answered.

Claire lets a deep sigh "I don't like the sound of that. This is vaguely familiar."

"You mean like Umbrella, TRICELL" said Alice.

"Bioterrorism and meta-human trafficking, two pandemics" Claire says. "We really need Justice League's help for this."

"You can thank Lex Luthor for that" Alice tells Claire.

"Those restrictions are complete bullshit" Claire says in anger.

"I wouldn't worry" said Alice showing a smirk on her face. Claire looks confused wondering what she meant by that, not to worry.

"Why do I get the feeling we're on a collision course" asked Claire.

Alice would respond "If we are, brace for impact."

Gotham

City July 30, 20:00 EDT

Robin. Arrowette, Spoiler, and Orphan are on the rooftop of a building. They got word that tar is being transported out of Gotham. "There's the warehouse" said Robin.

"And there's an armored truck parked outside" Arrowette added.

They see a man getting out the vehicle. He is wearing all black tactical gear and a gas mask with red lens that covers his eyes. He's also carrying a submachine gun as well.

"Is that what think it is" Arrowette asks.

Robin takes out a pair of thermal binoculars to get a look at him. "I don't think he's from the government" he says. "More like an unofficial military type."

"So, what's the plan" asked Spoiler.

Robin is about to answer but he notices someone is missing. "Wait, where's Orphan?"

The paramilitary member is leaning against the truck. He then hears noise coming the shadow part of the area. "Show yourself" as he draws his submachine gun at the direction.

Inside the warehouse, several thugs are unconscious as two males and a female wearing a variation of a Darkwear suit are searching the building. They are also wearing black ski masks with computerized red goggles.

"These idiots didn't stand a chance" said the male speaking in a distorted voice. The female notices two kegs on the floor as she approaches them. "This must be it" she says also in a distorted voice. She opens one of the lids to see a thick, dark brown substance inside.

"Well what do we got" asked the other male in a distorted voice.

"Exactly what we're looking for" she answered. "Just take one."

The male picks up the keg over his shoulder. Then they hear gunshots coming from outside. "I thought I told that idiot to stay in the truck" said the female.

They head outside to find the paramilitary member down. "What the hell happened" asked the male.

"Why don't you ask her" the other male points to Orphan who is wielding a sword.

The female places both hands on her hips "hey little girl are you lost? You know shouldn't be playing with swords. Someone could get hurt."

Orphan tightens the grip on her sword ready to fight them. "Uh oh, I think you made her mad" the male tells the female. Robin, Arrowette, and Spoiler arrive joining Orphan.

"Well, well this is interesting" said the male holding the keg of tar on his shoulder.

Arrowette draws her bow and arrow at the three individuals. "Put down the keg" Robin tells them. The three responds laughing at the young heroes.

"Ah man this is too much" as the male giggles at Robin's demand. "I see you three find humor in this" said Spoiler.

The female stops laughing to a deep breath. "So much has changed over the years" she says.

"Yeah" as the male puts the keg down. "A new Robin, a…" he tilts his head "um Artemis Junior."

Looking somewhat confused, she responds "I'm not Artemis Junior. My name is Arrowette."

That prompts the three to laugh again as Arrowette glares at them. "Seriously that's your name" asked male. "So who's the other two" asked the female glancing at Orphan and Spoiler.

The team gets ready to attack them, but the male uses super speed to take them out one by one. Robin quickly recovers "what was that?"

"This guy has super speed" a surprised Spoiler gets to her feet. "Yeah I'm full of surprises" said the male. Arrowette shoots an arrow at three but the female put her hands up saying "dleish."

A shield is created protecting them. Arrowette is spooked her eyes blinked "was that magic?" With sword in hand, Orphan goes for the attack on the male but he easily evades each one. She goes for another attempt only for the male to grab the blade part of the sword. He's about to punch her when Arrowette hit the male with an explosive arrow. That allows Orphan to regroup with the young heroes.

The male who got hit with the explosive arrow is unharmed. "You gotta be kidding" said Spoiler.

"Okay that's it no more games" said the male cracking his knuckles but the female stops him. "I got a better idea" she says. The female does a head gesture point to the warehouse as they run inside the building.

"Um Robin" asked a puzzled Spoiler. He glares at the warehouse "they got nowhere to go."

The team head inside the warehouse. But once inside, they only find the unconscious street thugs. Arrowette looking perplexed "but how?"

"There's no backdoor" said Spoiler. She looks at the thugs adding "and it looks like they did a number on them."

"They weren't here to take the tar. They were here to steal it" Robin says.

"Well they didn't take the other keg" said Arrowette. Suddenly the three individuals magically appear outside of the warehouse. "That's okay you can keep that one" said the female.

"Later little kids" said the other male slamming the door shut.

"Kcol meht morf edisni" the female cast a spell locking the door preventing the team from going after them. She approaches the paramilitary member "hsalps sih ecaf htiw retaw." Water that splash his face wakes him up.

"Start the truck, we're out of here" said the male.

The door is blast open as Batman's team gets out but it's too late. Armored truck drives away with the one keg of tar. Arrowette shakes her head "Bats is going to have a field day."

"You have no idea" Robin agrees.

The three individuals in the back of the truck take off their ski masks. As it turns the individuals are the evil clones of Zatanna, Wally and Conner.

"Well that was easy" said the Conner clone.

The Wally clone grunts shook his head "I can't believe it was due to Zatanna's magic that we succeeded."

"Oh good finally you'll admit magic is real" said the Zatanna clone as she takes out her phone making call. Wally rolls his eyes mutters "don't push your luck."

"Excella; we manage to get one keg of tar. Despite the run in with the team" the Zatanna clone says.

"You don't say. I guess the restrictions don't affect the team. Get out of Gotham City at once." Excella hands up the phone on her hand. The armored truck drives into a tunnel leaving town.

Metropolis

July 30, 23:00 EST

Lex Luthor enters his office to see a man by his desk looking out the window. "Can I help you" he asked. "Good evening…Secretary-General" as he turns around and it's Dr. Isaacs.

"How did you get it inside the building" asked Lex Luthor. Dr. Isaacs calmly responds "I told them I was your doctor."

Lex Luther chuckles at that approaching the doctor. He crosses his arms over his chest "let's stop playing games. Who are you?"

"My name is Dr. Alexander Roland Isaacs" he tells Lex.

"You're really are doctor" said Lex. "Actually I was scientist for the Umbrella Corporation" Dr. Isaacs rectifies.

"Did you say Umbrella" asked Luthor. "Yes well perhaps in another time I'll tell you more" said Dr. Isascs.

"Fine" said Lex Luthor. He then asks "why are you here?"

"An old friend wants to say hello" Dr. Isaacs answered. Lex Luthor looks a little puzzled what he meant by old friend.

"Hello Mr. Luthor. Long time no see." A woman's voice can be heard coming from an open laptop on top of the desk. Lex's eyes wide open the minute he heard the familiar voice.
