A/N: The next update will most likely be the last one I do on this fic of requests, as I'm nearing completion on all the ones I have left! Enjoy.

"Before you decide to murder me, let me explain…" MidKino (empressofeverything)

"It was an accident."

Sorano glared at him. Really? Awfully bold of him to lie to her, after they knew each what, their whole childhoods? But her former guildmate didn't back down.

"Please, before you decide to murder me, let me explain…"

"I don't want to hear it," Sorano chided. "Just look at her! She's barely keeping her eyes uncrossed!" Sitting on Sorano's couch, red in the face yet smiling serenely while barely managing not to tip over was Yukino. She started giggling while Sorano took to scowling at Macbeth, who gulped..

"Sorano, I've been trying to explain. I did not get your sister drunk on purpose. She asked if I wanted a glass so she poured us one each. How was I supposed to know she was a lightweight? I figured she was like you and wouldn't even slur her words until the second bottle."

"Hehe…sis does like her wine!" Yukino chimed in. The other two awkwardly glanced from her to the other.

Finally, Sorano coughed and lowered her eyes. "She…never really drinks at Sabertooth. I can't remember her ever ordering an alcoholic drink. Maybe she thought she was more like me in that department, but…" Biting her lip and looking again at her sister, who was now admiring the ceiling and…whatever she saw up there, another sigh escaped her lips.

"So, you concede that this wasn't my fault?" Macbeth said.

"...I'll concede that it was poorly thought out. I suppose not even you are uncouth enough to make a move so bold in my own house." Sorano still didn't get why her sister was so interested in Macbeth, sure he was a little cute, but wouldn't she want someone a little you know…muscular? Handsome? At least, that's what Sorano wanted. Like alcohol tolerance, perhaps the sister's tastes weren't as equal as Sorano wished to believe. She saw Macbeth let out a visible sigh of relief.

"Now that that's over with unless you want to be babysitting instead of on a date tonight, you should probably leave."

"...That might be for the best." Sorano had to stop herself from grimacing at the disappointment she heard in his voice. Gah, she knew she should just be happy for them but ugh! It was still weird! Macbeth turned towards Yukino and gave a small wave before heading for the door.

"WAIT." Yukino bellowed, leaping to her feet. She wobbled only a little as she made her way to Macbeth, who'd stopped and stared back in surprise. "You forgot…this." And before Macbeth could do anything to stop it, Yukino seized him by the fur coat collar and pulled him in for a kiss. A kiss that lasted…about thirty seconds longer than Sorano had anticipated, which was a long time to have one's jaw dropped to the floor.

Finally, finally, they let go, and Macbeth shook as head, dazed. The redness from Yukino's face slowly leaked onto his. Yukino remained unfazed, going back to the serene expression from before. "Hehe, night night!" she cooed.

Sorano watched as Macbeth took one look at her before practically bolting out the door. Her expression must have been hellish, what with her fists clenched, teeth gritted, and jaw returned to form a sneer.. She knew, rationally, that this wasn't his fault…but she still kinda wanted to kill him. Just a bit. Instead, she just sighed and went into the kitchen, hoping that there was still some wine left in the bottle Yukino used. Now she needed a drink.
