Chapter 5: Karma Stings
Last time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island 2, we played an 'electrifying' round of Truth or Scare, in which Sky ate a tarantula, Amy hates herself, Moth broke her sunglasses, and Rodney failed to get a single Truth right. Later, dude! Ella believed to have an immunity idol, until we realized it was fake.
Will Ella catch on? Maybe. Just watch this episode of...TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEW ISLAND 2!
(Opening Scene)
A slimy green monster crept from the lake. The monster sniffed the air, to find Shawn in his tree. The zombie nut awoke suddenly, noticing the creature.
"ZOMBIE!!!"
Shawn screamed and darted. The monster gave chase, and Shawn kicked it off, slamming head first into Beardo. Rubbing his head, Shawn pointed to the woods, too shaken for words.
Beardo noticed the creature. Making an alarm noise, he and Shawn ran to the cave, but the monster grabbed Shawns leg. Breaking free, he climbed a tree, telling Beardo to go on without him. Beardo obeyed, running off.
Meanwhile, Samey was teaching Topher how to forage, but Topher didn't want to get dirty, so he mostly provided comedy for Samey and Jasmine.
"TEAMS, MEET ME BY THE DOCKS IN 5 MINUTES, NOT A MOMENT LATER!"
"Guess we should get going, mates."
The dozen campers walked to the challenge. Dave approached Moth, her dark grey eyes forged straight ahead.
"Can we, uh, talk?"
"You can talk, but I'm not gonna listen."
"I just wanted to apologize for the sunglasses-"
"I'm gonna shut you up right now, those sunglasses were pretty much irreplaceable. And with that million dollars, I could repair them. So now, I'm even more motivated to win."
The teams arrived at the docks, Jasmine noticed Shawn missing. She groaned silently
Confessional
Jasmine: Shawn's zombie phobia has sorta...gone out since we started dating. But that doesn't mean it's gone forever. Something's up with him gone...
End Confessional
"Contestants, time for me to laugh at your pain in the Smash, Splash, 1-2-3 -X Dash! Players have to run to the end of your dock, grab a duelling stick, and place it on these racks to form an X. Three X's win the challenge, and the loser's win a spot back at elimination, so you've gotta hit people with your sticks!"
"Sidekick, we will enact my EVILL plan-"
"And ANYONE who messes with the other team's sticks loses immediately!"
"Curses!"
"One person per team goes at a time, and everyone must go at least once. Since there are 12 of you- wait a minute, where's Shawn?"
The Bass gasped. "He's probably lost in the woods or something." Sky said.
"Chef'll go find him a minute. That means the Bass may have the disadvantage, and if he doesn't make it in time, he's got an appointment with the Slingshot of Shame, and that means the Bass lose TWO tonight!
So, teams, decide who goes first!"
Samey approached Jasmine. "Uh, Jasmine? Hello, official team leader?"
Jasmine shook herself. "What? Oh, right. Sorry, mate. Topher, you go first."
The Bass were about to pick Sky, then they realized who they were facing.
"We should save her skills for a tougher player!" Dave said.
Beardo made a bell noise. "I got this covered, y'all."
"TEAMS, YOUR CHALLENGE BEGINS...NOW!"
Beardo and Topher ran for the sticks.
"What the-WHY are you running in slow motion?" Dave asked Beardo. Beardo received a stick in the nuts, as Topher placed a stick on his rack.
Scarlett went next, followed by Dave. The two fought, until Scarlett got the upper hand, and scored the Gophers first X.
Sky ran like the wind against Jasmine. The two poked each other with the sticks.
Chris yawned. "I'm bored! Release Scuba Bear!"
"Release what now?"
A giant robotic bear came out of the water, Sky kicked off Jasmine, and Jasmine fell into the water, Sky scoring the Bass's first point.
"Better, but I'm still bored!"
Ella ran for the docks, as Blais got an idea. Whispering to Scarlett, he approached Blais.
"Think of any evil plots yet?"
"All I have is this wire." He showed off a small wire. "I can't make something from nothing, FOOL!"
Not showing his emotions, Blais laughed. "Listen: wrap it around the tube, it's a conductor. All you need is a power source."
"Electrocuting myself is more self-evil than EVIL!"
"Didn't you notice the sticks? Hold it by the rubber padding, you won't get shocked! Trust me! Or miss out an opportunity for evil, your choice."
"Every opportunity is for EVIL!"
Max went to the docks, as his team cheered.
Scarlett noticed an eel swimming around. Picking it up and throwing it before it shocked her, she chuckled.
"Max!" She fake coughed. "Sorry about that."
"Time to EVIL!" Max raised his stick towards Ella.
"Hello again-"
Ella was electrocuted by Max, the Bass watched disgusted, as Max scored half an X.
"That was LOW!" Sky complained. "In my world, stuff like that is penalized!"
"I think Max just found his EVIL mojo! Will Bass come back from the loss? Doubtful! But see after the break!"
(Commercial)
Jasmine stared worried at the forest's edge.
"Come on...where is he?"
"He'll turn up." Sammy encouraged.
Meanwhile, Shawn had leapt from tree to tree, muddy and dirty. A branch broke from under him. He screamed as he dropped right into Chef's lap.
"ZOMBIE CHEF!
Chef grabbed him, and hauled him back.
"Chef? You're-you're you? Oh, good. Listen, zombies! We've gotta hide behind the waterfall. We can-" As he was dropped off at the docks, Jasmine slapped him in the face.
"Mate, there's no zombies. We're ok."
Taking her words to heart, he stood up, brushing the dirt and muck off.
"What's the challenge?"
"It's-" Jasmine was cut off, as Topher ran back, earning a point. Shawn understood, and ran for a stick, against Jasmine.
Confessional
Jasmine: I need to win. But I also need to make sure Shawn doesn't lose. Him being missing for so long could get him kicked out!
Shawn:...I screwed up. Big time.
End Confessional
Shawn and Jasmine fought on the docks, pushing and shoving. Jasmine shared a look with Shawn. Nodding, she let him push her off, as the Bass cheered as they were halfway through their second X, the Gophers at 2 X's.
Dave ran back to his team, clutching a duelling stick. He slipped and fell on his back on the hard dock, nearly shoved by Sammy, but he completed the second X for the Bass. Sammy was about to score a point, when she heard a scream, and from the water burst a woman covered in moss, mud, and dirt. And that woman was none other than-
"AMY!?!"
"SAMEY!"
"Oh, that's not good." Blais stammered, getting a weird look from Jasmine.
"No, no it isn't."
Confessional
Sky: Did Amy just call Samey Amy? Or was Samey calling Amy...?
Dave: Well, either Amy's back or Samey never left... no wait...
Scarlett: Samey's been faking as Amy the whole time. Blais dropped the Manchineel Fruit on Jasmine's head, so he knew. Topher and Jasmine can tell them apart, as can I.
End Confessional
"You and your new boyfriend will pay for this one, Samey!"
"This isn't his fault, though!"
"But's it's yours, and I will make you pay, bitch!"
"Not today!"
"Oh, yes, TODAY!"
And Amy pulled Samey into the water, still wrestling.
The contestants gasped, until the Bass realized they were still playing. Beardo volunteered to go again for redemption, as Moth and Blais were the only two who hadn't gone.
Topher was getting nervous: Amy and Sammy still weren't up yet from the water. Without thinking, he dove down, fearing the worst.
He noticed the two, still wrestling, but luckily not losing any air. He pulled them both apart and up to the docks, but Sammy had lost consciousness being pulled up on the dock. Beardo had managed to score a point, but Topher didn't care. Pushing Amy aside to her objections and berating, he focused on Sammy. Initiating basic CPR, it wasn't long before Sammy awoke, coughing and spluttering.
"Topher...?"
"Oh, thank God you're alive!"
"Uh, hello? I nearly DIED down there, and you don't care?!?" Amy's voice rang out.
Topher chose not to answer her, as he ran back to his team.
"Hey, mate, you ok?" Jasmine hugged her friend.
"I'm ok, I'm...ok."
"Well, hate to break it to you, but we won!" Dave laughed, completing the third X. The Bass cheered, but from the other end of the docks, they heard Chris crying. He wiped his eyes.
"For putting a little bit of warmth into my otherwise frozen heart, I declare the Gophers the winners of the challenge!" He choked out, as the Bass looked pissed, while the Gophers celebrated their new win.
Up in the tree house, Amy and Sammy were at each others throats. The team was below, waiting for the outcome.
Sammy left the treehouse, obviously annoyed. She left for the woods, sobbing.
"Listen, mates, Sammy's been telling me a lot of...stuff Amy's done to her."
"What sort of stuff?" Scarlett asked, annoyed by the whole rivalry.
Jasmine beckoned the team closer, whispering something. The team looked enraged.
"Oh, she's as good as GONE!" Blais snapped.
"The amount of EVIL in that woman! Not even I have that amount of EVIL!" Max did an evil laugh.
"Heather, Alejandro, you have been replaced as the most evil person on Total Drama." Topher chuckled, getting weird looks.
"So, we're all in agreement, then? Next time we lose?"
The team nodded, Jasmine satisfied.
Elimination
"Killer Bass, welcome back to elimination. Been a while, hasn't it? Time to vote!"
Confessional
Ella: (holds fake idol) As long as I have this, I am safe.
Moth: I didn't do anything, but I am ok.
End Confessional
"Sky, Shawn, Beardo, and Dave. You are all SAFE!
Moth, you did absolutely NOTHING to help the team before the challenge ended, and you're still upset about the sunglasses-"
"I DON'T want to hear it!"
"And Ella, you were tricked by Max of all people, but you were useful to an extent, which is why you get the final marshmallow!"
Ella claimed it, but Moth seemed unfazed.
"Sorry, McLean, I'm not going ANYWHERE!"
And she pulled out the Chris Head immunity idol.
"Moth, I think you're mistaken. I have the real one right here." Ella pulled out another idol.
Chris studied the two, then laughed hard.
"What's so funny?"
"Yeah, uh, sorry, but Moth is right. The one you had Ella? A VERY clever fake. Almost fooled me. So, that means Moth is safe-for now!"
Everyone gasped.
"Everyone of you voted Moth, except herself, and she voted for Ella! So, you're taking the Slingshot!"
Ella moaned.
"No hard feelings?"
"No. But at least now I'm free to sing whenever I want, which is always!"
(Music starts)
Chris: Huh, huh?! What the?! I didn't okay a musical bit!
Ella: My time on the show is finished and done,
but that's not to say I didn't have fuuuun.
I'll do my best not to cry.
But, now I have to say goodbye.
Chris: No! Knock it off!
Ella: I came on Total Drama and survived it just fine,
with only minor damage to the base of my spine.
I gave it my best try, but now I have to say goodbye.
I'll miss you all from tall to small
and even this little gnome!
Max: Hey!
Ella: So long, new friends
We have met our ends,
and now I'm headed home.
I was a fool, and now I'm paying the price,
and soon will be launched from this slingshot device!
I'll do my best not to die!
'Cause now I have to say goodbye!
And she was soon out of sight.
Epilogue
The Bass were at a loss for words at what had happened, both Amy's return, and Ella's unfortunate elimination. Moth was already in bed.
"Guys, there's only 5 of us left. We need to keep winning!" Sky encouraged. "And Shawn, what were you thinking? Zombies? Again?"
"I just...made a mistake, that's all."
Beardo interrupted, saying nobody was perfect.
"Yeah, well, try not to screw up, ok? Cause you're strong, and we can't afford to lose you."
The team went to bed, but Moth and Blais stepped out of the shadows.
"Not that we can't use the Chris Head, we should give the Chef Head, and the tiki idol away. We've had our fun." Blais suggested.
"If things get serious, good last resort."
They went off to bed as well.
"Wow, these guys are crazy! What new tactics will they think of next time? And how will our old friend Amy be welcomed back? Those are questions for next time, on TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEW ISLAND 2!
