Chapter 6: A Penny Saved is A Lesson Learned

Last time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island 2, our campers got physical in the Smash, Splash, 1-2-3 X Dash! The Bass seemed to have the upper hand, until an old friend Amy returned, and I declared the Gophers the winners. We were about to say goodbye to Moth, but she had tricked Ella with the immunity idol, so our songbird sung her song, and was eliminated.

Which songbird will sing his or her last song today? Find out on…TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEW ISLAND 2!

(Opening Scene)

Max awoke, smiling evilly, sunlight streaming through his window. He then felt itchy. He pulled back his covers to reveal-

"ANTS!"

His yelling woke up Jasmine, thumping down from her spot in the tree. The other females woke up too, Samey not among them.

Topher and Samey had gone for a walk, and Blais was off somewhere.

Scarlett and Amy were holding in a laugh, and Jasmine left to go foraging. Blais popped his head in.

"Did I get him? WHAT THE-"

Max was holding a magnifying glass, burning the ants.

"Burn, foolish ants! Burn!"

Max yelled in fright as the bed burst aflame.

"SIDEKICK! Clean my bed AT ONCE!"

Grumbling and muttering, Blais growled.

The Bass's spirits were down. They were now at a 7-5 person disadvantage. They, along with the Gophers, arrived at the challenge. Chris was in the middle of them, with a vending machine.

"Contestants, your challenge today is to get a coin into this vending machine. The winners get immunity and something to eat. Losers get an elimination ceremony!"

"Sounds easy enough!" Dave laughed.

"I was hoping one of you would say that! Because your coins will be held by Blais and Moth! You two will be working AGAINST your teammates, AND if in an hour, no winner is determined, you two choose who gets slingshotted off the island!"

Everyone gasped as Blais and Moth took their coins, chuckling.

Confessional

Topher: Working AGAINST their own team? Wow, Chris!

End Confessional.

"Get them!" Amy commanded.

"WOAH WOAH WOAH! I'm giving Moth and Blais a head start. So get going!"

They ran off.

Blais stopped to catch his breath. Crouching in a bush, he waited for his team.

Meanwhile, the game has begun. The Gophers started walking, but Topher had ran off to do an 'errand'.

"Figures your boyfriend can't help us win a challenge, Samey. Honestly, if he were my boyfriend-"

"SHUT UP, AMY!"

They followed the voice to the top of a tree, where Blais and Moth were sitting.

The Bass met up with the Gophers, agreeing to work together.

Jasmine and Shawn climbed up the tree to grab the coin, and were almost at the top. Suddenly, Moth jumped off the tree, swinging onto a vine. She ran off, the Bass chased her.

Jasmine reached for Blais, sending him toppling down with her. Holding him back, Scarlett searched his pockets, but found nothing.

"Mate, where the coin? WHERE IS THE COIN?!?" Jasmine growled at him.

"Let me go, and I'll tell you."

"You think we're that gullible?" Amy asked him, slapping in the face.

"Amy!"

"What?"

She slapped him in the face again, a bit harder this time.

"Now give us the coin. RIGHT NOW!"

"I can't do that."

Amy prepared to slap him again, until Blais spoke again.

"Because I don't have it, bitch!"

The Gophers eyes suddenly widened. "Moth!"

The team ran after the Bass, but Max stopped them.

"I am DONE taking orders from a giant! Time to EVILL-"

"GIANT? Ohh, never mind you, shorty!"

Jasmine left him and Scarlett behind

"Nobody walks away from the pure EVIL of me!" He muttered to Scarlett.

Scarlett suddenly got an idea. "Why don't you set a trap? That way, you can stop them from winning!"

"Yes! Brilliant idea, replacement Sidekick!"

Confessional

Scarlett: Replacement Sidekick? I guess Blais got promoted or something. (Shrugs, then growls)

End Confessional

Meanwhile, Moth pushed a rock over to reveal a hole. She deposited the coins in, smiled, and bumped straight into her team.

"Hey, guys. What's up?"

"We need that coin."

"I don't have it. I dropped it somewhere."

Beardo made an 'uh oh' noise.

Confessional

Shawn: This girls good. Too good. No zombie would reach her brains, or Blais's!

End Confessional

Blais crept past the Bass, but accidentally snapped a twig. Cursing, they ran at him, tying both him and Moth to a tree. The Gophers caught up with them.

"Hey, wheres Max and Scarlett?" Blais laughed.

"Doesn't matter. Give us the coins. It's an 8 v 2 here. You're outnumbered." Jasmine said, with Topher returning from his 'errand.'

Blais and Moth chuckled.

"Rule number 1 of tying someone up? Hide your belongings. Rule 2? Don't watch the mouth." The ropes suddenly came off of them. "Watch the hands."

"How did you-"

"Later!"

The two ran, pursed by their teammates.

Meanwhile, Scarlett and Max were almost done finishing a net trap.

"Done! As the team runs down here with the coin, they'll be hoisted into the air by my EVIL trap!"

Max imitated the team. "Oh, help us, Max, help us! We're losers!"

As himself: "Not until you make ME your EVIL LEADER-"

"Not bad, man. Not bad at all." Blais's voice seared towards them.

"I'll make you a deal." He flicked the coin towards them, Scarlett caught it, stunned.

"Win the challenge, but capture the team in the trap. In return, I'll give you my loyalty in voting."

"Deal!"

Suddenly, the Gophers ran at them, and the team, except Blais, was caught in the net.

"Ugh, what the-You and your traps, mate!"

Confessional

Scarlett: The plan was for Max to be the only one not in the trap, so he would get voted off! Now we have to make him admit it!

End Confessional

"Wrong, fools! It was I, ME, HAHAHAHA!" Max laughed evilly, as he received glares from his team. Scarlett smiled satisfyingly, dropping the coin to Blais while her team didn't notice.

Confessional

Scarlett: Much easier than I expected.

End Confessional

The Gophers stared daggers at Max.

"You know what? I think we should spare Blais." Samey said.

"I hear you mate. Case if we lose, guess who I'm voting for?"

"Not a mind reader." Max chuckled.

The Bass were chasing Moth, when suddenly, another net trap caught the team.

"Are you KIDDING ME?" Dave shouted.

"Nope!" Blais laughed.

"Escape is impossible, fools, for I am-" Max was cut off both nets fell with the combined weight.

Heading towards their teammates, they prepared to beat them into gooey pulps, when a pistol went off.

"An hour has passed! Blais and Moth WIN!"

The Bass and Gophers gasped, as Blais and Moth picked out some chips from the machine.

"Here." Blais tossed his chips to his team. "Dinner."

Confessional

Blais: Too easy!

End Confessional

The Gophers were waiting in their treehouse for Topher, who had gone off somewhere.

"Well, mate, who you gonna kick off?"

The team was tense, and Jasmines question just added more.

"It doesn't matter. It's not you, if that's you're asking. "I'll see you-" He stood up and left. "-at elimination.

Elimination.

The teams all sat on logs, Blais and Moth back in their teams.

"Ok, teams. Today has been a great day. But now, one of ya got's to go! Blais and Moth have told them their choice! Now...

Scarlett, Sky, Shawn, Jasmine, Topher..."

"Yes!"

"...Samey, Beardo, and Amy!"

Everyone glared at Amy, she didn't care, though.

"Dave, Moth hates you for the sunglasses thing..."

"I said sorry!"

And Max, you're really pissing off Blais. Not a good idea, he might hit with a wooden log."

"My Sidekick would NEVER betray me! I am too EVIL! MUHAHAHAA!"

"Well, uh, I think he just did, because, YOU'VE been eliminated!"

"WHAT? REVENGE!"

"Little late for that!"

Dave claimed his marshmallow, as Chef took Max to the SlingShot of Shame.

"Any last words, master?" Blais and Scarlett taunted.

"I WILL HAVE MY REVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENGE!" He screamed as he was flown into a passing boat.

"I think I just sunk someones battleship!" Chris laughed.

Epilogue

The Gophers sat around the fire.

"So, mate, you said you had reasons for keeping the rest of us. What were they?" Jasmine asked.

The team watched as Blais spoke.

"Well, Scarletts smart, I could use a mind like her, Topher's good comedy and a good person to talk to, Jasmine scares the crap out of me, so I couldn't kick her off, Samey deserves it after last season, and Amy deserves a far worse fate then getting kicked off by choice."

"What are you implying?" Amy asked. "If anyone should be kicked off, it's Samey!"

But Blais had already gone to bed, his team followed suit.

"Scarlett and Blais were right about Max, but his evilness is no more! 11 remain, and soon, we'll bring the PAIN! On... TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEW ISLAND 2!"
