(No P.O.V.) -15 minutes later-
Pippa and Mushu is now back in Pippa's mindscape, and now Mushu is going to explain some things to Pippa. "Pippa, since you passed the three tests of body physicals, mental fears, and spiritual truths, you are now able to take the oath of the Protector and Wearer of the Red Dragon Infinity Stone of Reality.".
Pippa exhaled softly, "Okay, what should I say?". Mushu cleared his throat, "I, full name, take upon my destiny to see Reality through, protect her Stone, and use the Stone's Powers with will and respect. I shall have it close to my heart, and listen to Reality or my dragon if in extreme danger, and never abuse the Stone as long as my soul is pure, in the name of Infinity.".
Pippa blinked slowly as he then smiled, "You got all of that, Pippa?". Pippa nodded, "Yeah. Okay, here I go, ", taking a deep breath and letting it out before swearing her oath.
"I, Pippa Madeleine Fox, take upon my destiny to see Reality through, protect her Stone, and use the Stone's Powers with will and respect. I shall have it close to my heart, and listen to Reality or my dragon if in extreme danger, and never abuse the Stone as long as my soul is pure, in the name of Infinity.", Pippa slowly yet clearly called out, and not even a second later, Pippa felt a wave of pure energy envelop her, hearing a pulse of something humming within her, smelling the distinct scent of blossoms about her, and saw a shimmering red aura moving over herself before settling into the crevice of her upper chest blades.
Mushu smiled wryly, "Right there, that's the resting spot of the Stone if I read the aura right. It shall be a necklace, and only the rest of your comrades will see it, and instinctively in their souls, they shall know to leave the Stone alone. How do you feel, Pippa?".
Pippa looked thoughtful, "Like I just had a race yet I am not sweaty or buzzing up of energy...". Mushu smiled, "That's good. That means you truly are sincere in your oath. You see, if somebody else than you had the sense to abuse the Powers or just wanting the Stone to sell off, that person would have been stripped of his or her soul, memory-wiped about the tests, the temple, everything, and would be feeling empty for their rest of their lives.".
Pippa whistled lowly, "Dang. I am very positive that my friends will pass their individual tests in time, and bring the Stones together, I just know it.". Mushu nodded, "Indeed. Now, as your dragon, you are able to take features and abilities from me, with a couple of extras.".
Pippa blinked, "Like borrowing when I get into danger?". Mushu smiled, "Something like that. You see, if you accept me as your dragon, you bring out your ancestor's blood for you see, there was people like you long, long ago, and those people were ancestors of you and your friends, and they were purely dragons, shapeshifting to human all the time.".
Pippa gaped softly, "You mean that I would be a dragon for all time when I will it?". Mushu hummed, "In danger, you instinctively bring that blood up to surface, and if you listen to me, you then are able to take upon your dragon form for the first time, and from that moment, you are then able to shapeshift by will. And there's something else. If you marry someone, you take him as your mate, and he is then able to be like you, bonding on all levels.".
Pippa blinked in astonishment, "He will be a dragon too?", and Mushu nodded, "Precisely.". Pippa exhaled slowly, "Wow...When I accept you as my dragon, does that mean you are somehow on my body too, like a necklace or something?".
Mushu grinned lightly, "Well, I was thinking of a familiar tattoo sort of thing.". Pippa stared at him, "Will that hurt?". Mushu shook his head, "No. It's more of a hiding spot for me, and I am only staying in one place, somewhere visible where you can see me. I only come out when you're alone, but only if you need my advice for something or in danger. No one cannot see me, and when your friends have the other Stones, they are then able to see me. Same thing for your future mate.".
Pippa nodded, "That actually makes sense. Somewhere I can see you...I think I will choose my right arm for that...". Mushu smiled, "That's a perfect location. Kneel and speak the acceptation oath, okay?" referring to Pippa's time in the military.
Pippa nodded as she got down on her knees, facing Mushu equally, "Yeah. Full name, right?". Mushu nodded, placing his claw upon Pippa's right arm, and Pippa took a deep breath before exhaling, and speaking out loud, "I, Pippa Madeleine Fox, accept Mushu as my dragon with all my heart, soul, mind, body, and so it mote be.".
Mushu spoke after Pippa, "I, Mushu, accept Pippa as my Protector with all my heart, soul, mind, body, and so it mote be.", and they suddenly glowed gold, feeling painless as warmth enveloped them before they vanished instantly from Pippa's mindscape, somehow realizing that they're heading back to the physical world where Pippa's friends are waiting.
