Chapter Twelve

Serena smiles as she drags Matt up for their morning jog, it had been a week since she'd been cleared to go back to school and now she was reinstituting her morning jogs, dragging Matt along once again. The older blonde was not happy about this but there was nothing he could do either, as Serena had pointed out that if the real world was attacked then he would need to be able to run and keep moving for a long time so he needed to get his stamina up. Matt hated that he couldn't find any fault with that logic.

Once their jog was done they head home where Serena gets the first shower and get ready to head out to her karate lesson. Though Matt was busy making breakfast so he could eat before she left, he'd take his shower after he had seen to her dietary needs. Serena smiles when she sees the meal before her, " I am really glad Saeko had that chat with you about my dietary needs, Matt. Oh, let Dai know I'll be at my karate lesson today, just in case they go to Digiworld so they don't need to wait for me. "

" No problem, Serena. " Matt says, " I'll send him a message on my D-Terminal before I take my shower, Viximon is going with you, right? "

" Of course. I can hide easily enough. " Viximon says.

An hour later Davis arrives at the Izzy's place with Demiveemon, they decided they would head to Digiworld from there when they could, " You're the first one here, Davis. " Izzy says.

" Yeah, well, I needed to make sure I got here first, Serena's at her karate lesson today and I don't want Yolei getting any ideas. She's gotten better since she was shown what Serena went through before she became Matt and TG's sister, but I will not take any chances. If we get into too much trouble send for her, her lesson will be done two and a half hours from now. " Davis states.

" Understood, Davis. I've noticed that several towers go down after we've all left. "

" I do some more tower destruction later on, it's a good way of relieving stress. " Davis admits.

" It's dangerous for you to go in alone though. " Izzy points out.

Davis shrugs, " Generally Serena meets up with me, besides, unlike the rest of you I fight the digimon myself and destroy the black rings so Raidramon or Flamedramon can get to the Control Spire and destroy it. "

Izzy sighs, he had forgotten that Davis would actually take the fight to the enemy, he'd done it often enough with Ken lately. Come to think of it so did Serena, but then again she had been Sailor Moon, so it made sense that she would take the fight to the enemy. They had never made strikes like they did now, but Izzy could see why it was being done, they couldn't let Ken think that he could walk all over them. This was a war and Davis had been one of the first to actually realize that.

Kari was the next to arrive with Gatomon and soon the three of them are involved in a strategy session, they knew they had to keep Ken off his game. They couldn't be too repetitive in what they did, otherwise he could notice and plan accordingly, the session stopped when Yolei and Sora arrived and they were off. Twenty minutes later Davis, TK, and Cody were wondering how the hell they had ended up in the situation they did. Arrested by a Starmon and thrown in jail, then the girls had been released by Deputymon so they could play cards with him.

" How do we get out of here? " TK asks.

Davis sighs, " Well, since our D3's and D-Terminals have been taken from us unless Patamon can digivolve we're screwed. "

Cody sighs, " This is just perfect, the one time we need to be able to call for back-up and we can't. "

" If Izzy doesn't hear from us in a set amount of time he's to send Serena, Matt, and Joe after us. " Davis admits.

TK laughs, " Thank god for contingency plans, otherwise we would be seriously screwed. "

" Yeah, but we have to stay alive until help gets here too. " Davis points out to the Gilligan hat wearing blonde.

TK glares at him but admits that Davis had a point, they had to stay alive long enough for a rescue to be possible. While the boys are chilling in jail in the real world Serena has just gotten done with her lesson and is on her way home when she hears the screams, similar to what she had heard in Juuban. " Selene, no, not now. " the twelve year old mutters and climbs up to the roof to see what the problem was. She curses quite creatively at seeing the youma, at least it wasn't a phage as she would have no way to help a phage at the moment.

" Viximon, get ready to party, there is no way in hell Sailor Moon is going to make a comeback just yet, but Juéxīnmon can handle this easily enough, I hope, if not we're seriously screwed. " Serena mutters.

" Serena, look. " Viximon says.

The blonde's blue eyes open wide at the sight she sees before her, " That has to be Sailor Coronis, her senshi uniform looks just like Phobos and Deimos' senshi uniforms. "

" Hello there, hime, I am Sailor Chuu, the one whom Iron Mouse took the powers from so she could become a senshi, Galaxia asked us all to step in and help out so you could remain anonymous. Plus, this way your senshi can't find you. "

Serena curses and starts roof hopping to the Ishida apartment building, she races down from the roof and speeds through her shower before getting dressed and racing for the computer. She had noticed Matt and Joe were already there, which meant they needed to go save the others, " Digi Port… Open! "

Serena uses her D3 to track the others, " I'll go after this group of D3's, Matt, Joe, is there one of the older models near one of the groups? "

" Yeah, I'll take this one with Gabumon, though if you could light your crest up it would be helpful. " Matt says.

The siblings take off in separate directions and Serena curses when she finds D3s but no owners of them, " Amiciziamon, we need to find Dai and the others, let's go. "

Serena just wondered how Dai got taken off guard the others she could understand it of, Dai wasn't so easy to catch off guard like that. " Ren, get us out of here. " Davis says, rolling his eyes at her antics.

" Amiciziamon, you heard him. " Serena says.

Once the boys are free they digivolve their partners and go hunting for the Control Spire, they all felt like destroying something right at that moment. Flamedramon, MagnaAngemon, and Digmon all launch their attacks at the Control Spire at the same time, completely obliterating it for daring to exist. To be fair they had all just spent nearly two hours in a jail cell. The boys then go on a spire destroying spree for half an hour before they all head home, as Matt had rescued the girls and dealt with Deputymon while all this was going on.
