Davis snarls when Serena gets slammed into the ground hard, that didn't stop her from immediately going into a backwards somersault and flipping to her feet, " Ren, you all right? "

" I'll need to sugar load when we get out of here, but I'm good, Dai. " Serena calls out, leaping up into the air and forming an amethyst discus before letting it loose with a well-practiced throw. Davis whistles as said throw takes out twenty dark rings before the energy discus makes its way back and is caught by Serena expertly. Davis follows her lead only he glows golden and creates a ball of energy before kicking it into a control spire.

" Flamedramon, we need to take out these damn spires faster! "

" Understood, Davis. Juéxīnmon, let's ramp it up. " Flamedramon calls out.

" No holding back, I can get behind that. " Juéxīnmon calls back.

FlareRizamon takes out another pair of rings while Sam is still dealing with them with his digivice. Any ring he could aim at he destroyed. Serena was using her discus to take out massive amounts of rings while also playing leap frog with the digimon surrounding her. Just as the last spire falls Serena ends up taking a Drimogemon drill through her left shoulder. Sam was at her side in moments and steadies her, " Dai, where's the nearest port? "

Davis spins around and curses when he sees the blood dripping down her arm, " Not far, come on, we need to get back so she can sugar load. "

Flamedramon and Juéxīnmon head for the port immediately while FlareRizamon races ahead as well. Sam and Davis get her over to the port easily enough, " Dai, let them know I'm coming in injured. " Serena murmurs.

At the same time Davis and his group are finishing up Angewomon slams her fist into LadyDevimon's stomach before she flies above her and kicks her into the ground with a drop kick. Digmon starts taking out the control spires while the digital cat fight commences. LadyDevimon slams into the ground, leaving an impact crater. The blonde fallen angel drags herself out of the crater and flies back up into the air, " Evil Wing! "

Angewomon smiles grimly, " Heaven's Charm! "

The two attacks cancel each other out and Angewomon immediately launches a Celestial Arrow as a follow up attack. She had much more experience this time around and was not going to get pushed around by the fallen angel slut. LadyDevimon falters in the air as the Celestial Arrow connects with her, " I am not going to go down to the likes of such a goody two shoes! Darkness Wave! "

Angewomon curses as this attack connects with her and then Kari's D3 erupts into light. At the same time this is occurring Angewomon starts glowing and a rainbow beam of light shoots down. " Angewomon digivolve to… Ophanimon! "

" Yes, we finally got mega. Ophanimon, knock her block clean off. This bitch has it coming! "

" Sefirot Crystals! "

LadyDevimon dodges this attack only to get impaled by an Eden's Javelin, thus ending her. " Sefirot Crystals! "

This attack lances out and takes out the rest of the spires then she concentrates, " Eden's Air! "

" Whoa, I'm feeling all revved up now. " Digmon says as the attack ends.

" Cody, check in with the others and then we'll head to another section. Let's make use of Ophanimon while we have her around. "

" Got it, Kari, you're right, let's take advantage of having another mega in our ranks. "

Izumi Home:

The others barely get out of the way of the returning three humans and their partners. Kae immediately has a piece of her most decadent cake in TK's hands. TK takes the initiative and starts to feed it to his sister. Serena wolfs that piece down and curses, " Kae, bring me the good stuff! "

In the kitchen Kae blanches and gets a slice of Death By Sugar and Tri-Chocolate. She takes it out and Serena is fed this one by TK as well. Davis was being her support at the moment. Sam is watching in astonishment as her wound slowly but surely starts to close up. " What all is in that anyhow? " Sora asks.

" Sugar, white, dark, and milk chocolates as the main ingredients. " Kae answers.

" What, I heal faster with sugar and chocolate. " Serena mutters and releases Saturn, " Saturn, think you can heal up the rest for me? "

" Hime, of course, I can. You are just a magnet for wounds, aren't you? "

" Not my fault Fate is literally a bitch. " Serena retorts.

Davis snorts at this, " What did you do to have her hate you so much? "

" My dark side was commissioned by just about every pantheon to kill the bitch as they had all gotten quite sick of her. " Serena states, " Would have had her dead if Beryl had held off on attacking the moon when she did. "

Davis smirks at this response from his soul mate, " I honestly wasn't expecting that answer. The bitch does need to die. "

" Wait, there's an actual Lady Fate and she is really a bitch? " Tai asks as Saturn finishes the healing of Serena's shoulder.

" Yeah, she's a damn bitch all right. " Davis replies, " I still have no… dammit, the Inner Court Guard's powers informed them of us. The Outsiders put up a brilliant battle to stop them, to keep them busy until we could get to Venus and your aunt. "

Serena's eyes narrow as hidden pathways in her memory start lighting up. Then she starts swearing in a tongue that has Davis looking at her in amusement. He shakes his head, " Ren, I didn't think you had learned Persian back then. "

" Hey, omnilingualism, I can swear in any language living or dead. " Serena retorts.

Digimon Emperor's Base:

Ken starts swearing profusely when he sees Angewomon's evolution to her mega form. That was now two megas they had at their disposal and the other one was still wreaking havoc. At least his worthy foe's second had gotten injured this time. She deserved so much worse, but she seemed to have a sixth sense for danger. Every time he tried to separate her from his worthy foe she somehow managed to elude his attempts at capture. It was infuriating to say the least. Any of her former enemies could have told him that.

Izumi Home:

They all meet for dinner and Matt groans when he hears about his little sister's latest injury, " Were you this injury prone as Sailor Moon? "

" Find my battles on the net and see for yourself. " Serena retorts.

Davis winces and once they've eaten he drags her out, " Matt, she needs a good spar, I'll probably spend the night at your place, I'll let my parents know. "

" Davis, you practically have your own room at my place now. "

" Not my fault I'm Serena's go to tutor and I needed to stay there after the counselor incident. " Davis retorts and shoves Serena out the door.

" Good spar? " Sam asks.

" In other words no holding back. " Cody answers.

" Oh, he's going to let her work out her aggression on him. " Sam says.

" Yeah, he's the only one whom can spar anywhere close to her level. " Tai admits, " She doesn't get into those moods often but when she does it's better to let Davis deal with her, or I get to goalie against her, which is not fun by any stretch of the definition. "
