Chapter 4: Year Four

Carlos smiled down at the bundle in his arms. After eight months, and twenty hours of hard labor, he was finally holding his daughter, Lillian Grace Mitchell in his arms. She weighed in at seven pounds and two ounces. She was just the smallest baby Carlos had ever seen. She was perfect in every way. Logan was standing beside him looking down at her as well.

"She's beautiful Los," Logan said, smiling at him.

"Damn right she is," Carlos said smiling. Logan chuckled at that. "Hi mija."

He looked down at the small baby in his arms. It was hard to believe that she was finally here. After all this waiting, Lilly was finally in his arms. A glance at Logan told him that he was a little eager to hold her too.

"Come on daddy, say hi to your baby girl," Carlos said, patting the bed beside him. Logan sat on the edge of Carlos's bed. He placed an arm around Carlos.

"She's so tiny," Logan said, reaching a hand up to her. She latched onto his finger and squeezed. His heart just melted at that.

After all this time, she was finally here in front of them. She was real.

"She is precious," Carlos said smiling. "Wanna hold her?"

Carlos passed their daughter over to Logan. He was looking down at her with such adoration in his eyes. His smile grew as he watched her.

"No one is ever gonna be good enough for her," Logan declared.

"Never," Carlos agreed.

They sat there talking in this moment together. Finally a family of three. It was still sinking in that they were now officially dads.

A knock at the door caught their attention. Carlos looked up as Sylvia, Javier, Joanna, and David all stood there looking in at the happy family.

"Come in," Logan said, gesturing for them to enter. They all walked into the room. "I guess Grandma Sylvia gets first dibs because Carlos promised."

Sylvia took the baby from Logan, Javier was at her side. They were looking down at her with big smiles of adoration. They fawned over her and passed her around. Lilly was passed to the Mitchell's next. They were all in awe over their granddaughter.

"We are grandparents," Joanna said as if she still couldn't believe it.

"Yeah, when are we gonna officially be in laws," David said, turning to his son.

"May 28th," Logan replied. They had finally locked down a date and venue for the wedding.

"Really?" Joanna asked, shocked. They hadn't been expecting an answer.

"Yep, we've got a venue and everything," Logan said.

"I suppose we should get a flight to be back out here in May," Javier said.

"Actually we will be coming to you, we want to get married in Minnesota," Carlos said.

"Can we come in yet?"

Logan turned to face Kendall and James, "I'm surprised you the first ones in here."

"We wanted to give you a moment alone with your family," Kendall said walking into the room.

"Kendall honey, you are family," Joanna said as she passed the baby to him. "You're basically my second son." she said.

"No boys?" David asked, looking for Jake and Adam.

"They are with my mom and Katie," Kendall said, looking down at Lilly with a smile.

"Yeah, Jake is in a hitting phase and we didn't want him getting jealous and trying to hit this little princess," James said, stepping up beside Kendall. He looked down at Lilly with a smile.

"He wouldn't hit her," Carlos said, "it's not her he's jealous of."

"Maybe, but we didn't want to risk it," James replied.

"It's best we not test that theory though," Logan said, his eyes on Lilly. He couldn't take his eyes away from her.

He watched as James took his turn adoring her.

—At the Beginning—

James looked down at the little blue negative sign with a frown. He and Kendall were trying to get pregnant again. They had only been trying for almost six months now, but this time wasn't so easy. James has taken two tests each month now. He was starting to lose hope. Maybe they weren't meant to have another baby.

He sighed as he looked up into the mirror before him. He could see the hurt on his face. Why was this so hard? Why was he so upset about this? He had two beautiful boys already. Jake and Adam were growing up so fast. They were learning new things all the time, and becoming tiny people with attitudes. If he only had two kids he would be happy, those boys were amazing.

Yet, his heart yearned for one more baby though. He tossed the test in the trash and left the bathroom. He walked over to the bed and laid down. He wanted to sulk for a little while. This shouldn't be so hard. Getting pregnant with Jake and Adam has happened so fast, why couldn't this one happen.

Kendall entered the room. He must've finally gotten the boys to sleep. He felt the bed dip beside him and hands on his back. They started to rub soothing circles.

"It's not good news I presume," Kendall said softly.

James started talking into his pillow. This wasn't fair. He wanted another baby. Why was it so hard? They had never had this much trouble before.

"What?" Kendall asked, confused.

"I said, why is this so hard this time?" James asked, sitting up.

"It's ok James, maybe we are trying too hard here. You gotta stop taking all these tests. All it is is added stress that we don't need. Besides we've got two wonderful boys already," Kendall said.

"I know, but I want a girl," James said.

"And if we got another boy?" Kendall asked.

"I'd be happy too, I want a baby," James said.

"We have two already," Kendall replied.

"I know, but-" James started.

"No buts, it will happen when it's supposed to happen," Kendall said. He scooted closer to the brunette. "In the meantime, we can keep trying and have fun doing so."

"Oh it's always fun," James said grinning. He pulled the blonde to him with a grin. Leave it to Kendall to make him feel better.

Kendall pulled the brunette into his lap. He kissed him gently on the lips. James sighed into the kiss. He was so glad he had someone like Kendal at his side.

"No more tests, not until you get the obvious symptoms, ok? We just have to relax and let things happen," Kendall said. James nodded his head. He tucked his head under Kendall's chin.

"I love you," James said.

"Love you too Jamie," Kendall replied, hugging him tighter.

They sat there a moment before James spoke again. "So are we gonna—?"

"Baba!"

"Nevermind," James sighed.

"No, hold that thought, I'm gonna put Jake back to bed. You can go ahead and get started. I'll join you in a moment," Kendall said.

"Get started?" James asked.

"Yeah, I want you naked by the time I get back," Kendall said with a wink. James laughed and shooed him away.

—At the Beginning—

Carlos watched Lilly as she slept. He could barely see the rise and fall of her chest. He had come to check on her when he woke to use the bathroom. She hadn't woken yet to eat, so he was just slightly worried. He couldn't help but worry.

She looked so peaceful and beautiful. It was still a little hard to believe that he and Logan had created this little life. She was gorgeous. She was their little miracle.

She was getting bigger all the time and learning new things. She was so close to figuring out how to roll over. She was figuring out how to grab things. It was amazing to watch as she figured things out.

"Carlos?"

Carlos looked up from Lilly. He saw a sleepy Logan in the doorway to the nursery. He glanced down at Lilly once more. He was satisfied that she was alright, for the moment. He walked over to Logan with a sheepish smile.

"Sorry, I was just checking on her, making sure she was sleeping," Carlos said as he stepped out into the hallway.

"More like making sure she's still alive," Logan said.

"Sorry I just-" Carlos stared.

Logan hushed him with a kiss. "It's ok Carlos, but you gotta stop talking to your mom."

"Logan I should have been the second oldest grand baby for Abuela, Titi Milla lost her first baby weeks before I was born," Carlos said.

"I know I've heard the stories," Logan said, taking Carlos' hands in his. "And I know it's scary, but things are a lot better now and we know more now than we did even then. You gotta relax a little, Lilly is fine."

Carlos nodded his head, but he couldn't help but worry. He didn't want anything to happen to his daughter. She was precious and needed him and Logan to protect her. She would always need them.

"I know, but Titi has me freaking out, I just…I can't help it," Carlos said.

"Ok, I'll be the sane one then here to bring you back down to earth then," Logan smiled at him. He pulled the Latino close for a kiss. He rested his forward against Carlos'. "You are doing a great job so far Los, we got this. You are doing a great job so far as a new parent, you've only called the doctor once this week. It's ok," Logan said.

"I know, but I wasn't sure if I could give her both of those medicines together or if I had to wait so long before trying the other," Carlos said.

"You're doing fine Carlos, we got this," Logan chuckled. He leaned in and pecked the Latino on the lips.

—At the Beginning—

Logan yawned as he watched Kendall get fitted for his tux for the wedding. The wedding was two month away and this was the final fitting before the big day. Everything had to fit. Kelly had gotten Raul Dior to make their suits again. He had enjoyed working with the boys for Kendall and James' wedding.

"What do you think?" Kendall asked, turning around for Logan to see.

"I think you look like you're going to a wedding," Logan joked.

"Have I mentioned how much fun you two are," Raul said laughing. "Most of my clients are snobbish and you are a breath of fresh air."

"Thank you, we like to entertain the masses," Kendall said as he walked around a little.

"Obviously, I mean it's not like that's our jobs being pop stars and what not," Logan snorted.

"Raul, can you just be our designer from now on?" Kendall asked as he moved around. "This suit is amazing and it fits perfectly."

"Deal," Raul said laughing.

"I don't think I can ever go back now that I've had a designer suit," Kendall added.

"It is nice," Logan agreed.

Soon the two were saying their goodbyes to Raul. He promised to see them in Minnesota for the wedding and any emergencies they might have with the suits.

As they exited the building Logan asked Kendall the question he had been dying to ask. They started towards Logan's car.

"So, how is the-uh- 'baby making' going?" Logan asked.

"It's not so easy this time," Kendall said, shaking his head.

"Really? I thought you two would have had like two more by this point," Logan joked.

"I know, it will happen when it's meant to happen," Kendall said, waving a hand. "I'm not worried."

"How's James taking it?" Logan asked.

"Not as good, he keeps taking all these tests and he's stressing himself out," Kendall said, shaking his head.

"You guys have two babies already," Logan said.

"I know, but we agreed to at least three kids and we don't want them too far apart in age," Kendall said.

"Makes sense," Logan said, nodding his head.

"What about you, how are things with your little princess?" Kendall asked.

"I don't wanna brag, but Lilly is an easy baby. She doesn't cry much and she's sleeping through the night most of the time. I just know if we have another baby they will be the challenging one," Logan said.

"I'm so jealous, Jake and Adam are little demons. Jake is so mean to Adam," Kendall said, shaking his head.

"He's jealous," Logan replied, "he was the only one and then suddenly here comes Adam who gets all the attention and no one wants him anymore. They all want Adam."

"That's not true," Kendall said.

"In the eyes of a two year old, it is," Logan said.

Kendall paused as he thought it over. Maybe Logan was right. They reached Logan's car and got in. Logan sent a quick text to Carlos that he was done with his fitting and they were onto the next appointment Kelly had for them.

"So what about you, do you want any more kids? Or are you a one and done kind of guy," Kendall asked, causing Logan to snort.

"I'd like to have another kid, but maybe in a few years. I want Lilly out of diapers," Logan said.

"That's smart, but sometimes life happens and even though you are very careful you still end up pregnant," Kendall said.

"Maybe you should learn how to properly use a condom," Logan quipped.

"Ha," Kendall said, rolling his eyes. "So where to next? What torture does Kelly have in store for us?"

"We are going to the florist," Logan laughed.

"Sounds like a nightmare. I thought I was done with all this," Kendall groaned.

"You dragged me everywhere last time, you knew what you were signing up for," Logan laughed.

—At the Beginning—

Carlos looked down at Lilly with a smile. She was currently fast asleep in her crib. She looked so peaceful.

It was hard to believe she was four months old already. Time was just flying by. She was learning something new everyday. She had recently discovered how to click her tongue and that was her favorite thing. She was well aware of her fingers and toes and how to get them in her mouth. He was getting less and less nervous too. He wasn't calling the doctor for every little thing. He was learning what was normal and what wasn't.

The door opened behind him. He turned and placed a finger to his lips as Logan walked up to him. Logan gave a nod of understanding.

"Come with me," Logan said slowly as he grabbed the baby monitor.

Carlos allowed Logan to steer him from Lilly's nursery which was Kendall and James' old room. He led him out to the living room. Carlos smiled as he saw the table was set with a red table cloth, candles and two covered plates.

"What's the occasion?" Carlos asked.

"No occasion, just wanted to do something special for you," Logan said. He led Carlos over to a chair and urged him to sit. He set the baby monitor by Carlos, knowing he would go crazy otherwise. "I ordered your favorite."

Carlos uncovered the plate and saw his favorite Mexican dish from one of their favorite restaurants. He smiled at Logan and reached across the table for his hand. Logan took his hand and smiled at him.

"Can you believe that in one months time we will be married," Logan asked.

"It can't get here soon enough," Carlos replied.

"Where has the time gone? I can't believe we are getting married sometimes. Like how did I get so lucky?" Logan asked.

"Oh you big sap," Carlos beamed at him.

"I mean it, you're amazing Carlos. You put up with me, you gotta be," Logan said.

"Correction, I put up with you and Kendall," Carlos replied.

"Oh come on we are not that bad," Logan said.

"Oh please, he convinces you to do the stupidest shit, and It doesn't take much convincing either," Carlos said.

"That's what best friends are for," Logan replied, "and don't go pointing at me when you and James are just as bad, super party kings," Logan said.

"Well yeah, that's what best friends are for," Carlos chuckled.

"Yeah, though I don't think we will be partying much for a while," Logan said.

"Yeah, but we got something better to worry about," Carlos said, glancing down at the baby monitor, where he could see Lilly sleeping peacefully.

"Yeah we do," Logan agreed with a smile.

Carlos would take watching Lilly grow and learn more each day over partying. She was a blessing in their lives. He thanked all his lucky stars that he had her and Logan in his life.

—At the Beginning—

Kendall smiled as he watched Eli play with his grandsons. He was visiting from Minnesota. He had been on a business trip up in San Francisco that got cut short, so he decided to come see the boys. Jake and Adam were loving the attention.

It was a nice sight to see. Eli went out of his way to see the boys. He loved his grandsons. He made any excuse to come to LA to see them too.

Kendall looked up as James returned with lemonade for everyone. He handed Eli a glass taking Adam from his arms. He sat down with the toddler in his lap accepting his sippy cup of juice.

"So dad, you're coming to the wedding right?" James asked.

"You think I'd miss Carlos' wedding? I'm sure him and Sylvia would both murder me if I didn't show up without a very good reason. A very good reason being only if I were dead," Eli said, causing James and Kendall to laugh.

"So will you be bringing a plus one?" Kendall asked knowing Eli almost always had someone new on his arm. He had just divorced wife number two not that long ago.

"Always, you can't show up to a wedding alone. I need someone to keep Valeria off my case. If she hears I'm single again…" he trailed off.

"No, you are not dating Carlos' aunt," James said.

"Agreed Valeria is crazy," Eli said.

"Not Camilla either. Leave that poor woman alone," James said glaring at his father.

"Moving on, how are things with you two, baby number three on the way yet?" Eli asked.

"Not yet," James frowned. "Working on it, but, like no success."

"Really? I figured by now you have like four more running around here," Eli said.

"Ok let's not get crazy, but I do want one more and we are actually trying it's just not working right now," James replied.

"Don't force it, besides you've got these two adorable gremlins already. Let one of them get out of diapers before you have another. It will happen when it's meant to happen," Eli said.

"I know," James whined, "I just feel like it's never gonna happen."

"It will happen when you least expect it," Eli said.

"I know, I know but I don't want our kids too far apart in age," James said looking down at Jake and Adam.

"Relax James," Kendall said, leaning over and scooping Adam away from him. Adam giggled and reached up for Kendall's face. "Let's focus on what we have right now and not worry about the future."

—At the Beginning—

Carlos smiled as he watched his and Logan's families mingle about talking and laughing. Most of them already knew one another. They were getting along. There was no arguing and for that he was grateful.

Carlos had been expecting a small fight to break out when his mother discovered he was taking Logan's last name. It had been bad enough that they had named their daughter after Logan's family. However, she had accepted it without argument which shocked both Logan and Carlos. Even Kendall and James were a bit puzzled by her reaction. He wasn't going to poke at that though.

Today was perfect. Kelly really did have a knack for wedding planning. She was so organized and got things done. Everything had gone off perfectly. Carlos and James had spent the entire morning goofing off and getting ready. Eventually Lucy and Carlos' brother Javi joined them to get ready. The wedding party had been rather small. Kendall and James were the best men obviously with Lucy and Javi standing for Carlos with Camille and Katie standing with Logan. Presley and Lilly had been the flower girls with Jake and Adam as ring bearers with Presely's help.

Before the ceremony, Carlos and one of the photographers met with Logan and the other photographer for first looks. They kept Carlos and Logan seperate for as long as possible.

Carlos took a deep breath, barely listening to Kerry, his photographer. Logan around the corner of the barn with his photographer, Kerry's assistant Shana. This was going to be their first looks at one another all dressed up. Carlos had not seen any of Logan's looks and vice versa. They had been kept apart by Kelly since last night after the rehearsal dinner.

"Ok let's go," Kerry said, smiling at him.

Carlos took one last breath. He nodded his head. Kerry went first with her camera trained on him. Carlos paid her little mind. Logan was what he was here for. He wanted to see him so badly. Being apart had been torture.

Carlos rounded the corner and saw Logan waiting for him. He watched as Logan's eyes went wide and a smile plastered itself on his face. Carlos's own smile wasn't far behind. He ignored the clicking of the camera.

Logan stood before him, with a white suit jacket and black pants. His vest matched his eyes perfectly. In his jacket pocket was a small red poppy. It was an homage to their first date where Carlos had given him poppies since that was the only flower he could find.

Carlos walked up to Logan holding his hands out to him. Logan took his hands and pulled him close. They stood there looking into one another's eyes for a moment.

"You have no idea how hard I'm fighting the urge to just kiss you," Logan said.

"I know, but we can wait another hour, right?" Carlos asked, toying with the poppy pinned to his pocket.

"Who are you trying to convince? Me or you?" Logan laughed.

"Both, we haven't even been apart that long," Carlos laughed as well.

"I know," Logan said, grabbing the hand that was toying with the flower.

"You remembered the poppies," Carlos chuckled.

"Why wouldn't I? Kelly thought it would be adorable, her words not mine. I just…you look amazing, Los," Logan said, looking him over, as he tried to change the subject.

"You're not so bad yourself," Carlos replied, his grin growing.

"You guys are so adorable," Kerry said, breaking them from their trance.

The rest of the photography session had gone amazing with Kerry and Shana posing them every which way they could think of. Then Kendall and James arrived for their photos with the happy couple. Getting a picture with the four of them doing what they were told at the same time had been a nightmare. Kendall either made Logan break with a joke, or James distracted Carlos. It had been a fun session with them just goofing off and having fun. That was all that mattered.

The ceremony was gorgeous too. It wasn't on a Cliff in Hawaii, but it was perfect. The barn they had chosen had several amazing spots for photo ops and the ceremony was held by the gazebo next to the pond. It had been everything Carlos had ever wanted.

The ceremony had zipped past too. He barely remembered it. He just knew that Logan looked amazing and he couldn't believe this man was his. That Logan had chosen him outta everyone else. Carlos thanked his lucky stars for that too. Then as soon as it had started they were sharing their vows and then it was over. They were married.

"Carlos!"

Carlos turned as Logan's twelve year old sister Presley ran up to him. She was wearing a pink sundress and little white sandals. She was grinning from ear to ear as Carlos caught her in a hug. He lifted her into his arms and spun her around.

"Look at you beautiful," Carlos said, smiling at her.

"Now that you and Logan are married does that mean you really are my brother?" Presley asked.

"I've always been your brother," Carlos replied. Presley grinned as she hugged him again.

"I like you as my brother, you're awesome and you gave us Lilly. She's so cute!" Presley cooed.

"I know, she's like the cutest," Carlos agreed. He then wondered just where his daughter was. "Have you-" he started.

"Mom has her, she's showing her off to everyone," Presley said.

"Right, ok what about Logan? He disappeared on me," Carlos said, scanning the crowd again.

"Don't know," Presely shrugged.

"Carlos, there you are!" James called as he ran up to him with a grin. He looked down to Presley. "Presley, you look gorgeous in that beautiful dress."

"Thank you," Presley said, giving him a courtesy.

"I need to borrow Carlos, can you go help Katie with the boys?" He asked her. Presely's smile lit up again and she ran off.

"Borrow me?" Carlos asked.

"Come with me," James said, grabbing his wrist and pulling him along through the crowd.

James fended off all the well wishers promising to bring Carlos back soon. They quickly crossed the farm. They returned to the gazebo where Kendall and Logan were sitting on the steps laughing. They had a bottle of champagne and four glasses with them. Kendall said something that made Logan throw his head back and laugh. Kendall then nudged him and pointed with his head.

"Los," Logan jumped up and brushed himself off. He met him halfway with a kiss.

"Took you long enough," Kendall said, as James helped pull him to his feet. He pressed a kiss to his lips, silencing his comeback.

"What's this all about?" Carlos asked as he joined them in the gazebo. Logan leaned back against the rail. Carlos stood beside him with Kendall and James stood across from them.

"Just taking a moment for the four of us," Kendall said.

"Guys we are all married with kids," James said.

"Oh my god how did that happen," Carlos said.

"When did we grow up?" Kendall asked.

"Stop pretending you're an adult Kendall," Logan said, shoving the blonde.

"Haha, you're so funny," Kendal said, shoving Logan back.

"Ok enough, behave," James said, cutting them off.

"He started it," Kendall said, pointing a finger at Logan.

"Well I'm ending it," James said, poking Kendall in the side playfully.

Kendall grabbed the champagne bottle. He opened it and poured four glasses. They each took a glass.

"A toast," Kendall said.

"To us," Logan said holding his glass up, "for putting up with each other's shit for as long as we have.

"And agreeing to continue to put up with it through marriage," James said.

"And our growing families and the bright future ahead of us," Kendall said.

"And to Big Time Rush, without the band I don't think we'd be here," Carlos said.

They all took a drink to that.

"Oh, I'm sure I'd have found my way to James eventually," Kendall said.

"I don't know, you never showed any interest in guys back before we moved to LA," Carlos said.

"Yeah, because we lived in Sherwood Minnesota where that gay couple that lived down the street from me got so much hate, I mean I always knew I was attracted to guys too, but I also knew coming out in Sherwood was never an option," Kendall said.

"True, Sherwood isn't a very accepting community," Logan said.

"Always liked guys? Who was it that made you think about guys?" James asked.

"You," Kendall said, flicking James in the forehead. "Ya dork."

"Ok, ow, and since when?" James asked curiously, as he rubbed his forehead.

"I don't know, maybe about sixth grade I started to notice that I liked looking at boys too, and then I noticed you, I always thought you were pretty attractive, but I also knew you were a self proclaimed ladies man, so I never said anything," Kendall shrugged.

"Yeah, I mean look at where we grew up, I'm sure Sherwood is still behind the times," James replied, "I was so repressed back then it's probably a good thing you never tried anything."

"What about you two, what was your aha I might like boy's moment," Kendall asked.

"I don't know if I really had an aha moment, I just realized one day girls weren't really that attractive when I thought about it," Carlos shrugged.

"Jimmy Blakemen in the ninth grade," Logan said quickly.

"Oh I remember Jimmy," Kendall said pointing at Logan with a grin.

"Is that why you tutored him? Little Logie had a crush?" James asked.

"Duh, and we weren't just studying," Logan grinned.

"What?" James asked.

"No way," Carlos said, shocked.

"I mean it was nothing more than making out a few times, but yes I made out with the JV football captain Freshman year," Logan grinned.

"And you didn't come out to us then?" James asked.

"He told me," Kendall said, putting a hand up.

"I didn't think it was a big deal," Logan shrugged.

"I just assumed he told you guys as well," Kendall said.

"I thought Camille was your first relationship," Carlos said.

"She was, Jimmy and I weren't anything. It was strictly physical and when he got a girlfriend he begged me not to tell anyone so I took pity on him and kept my mouth shut," Logan said.

"Wow we are learning lots tonight," James laughed.

"You're not mad that I didn't tell you are you?" Logan asked Carlos.

"No, I'm just surprised by it all. You didn't seem like the type back then to just make out with random guys," Carlos said.

"Yeah, it was a one time thing, I was convinced by a bad influence," Logan said, shooting a glare at Kendall.

"Hey, I just said I wouldn't say no to the captain of the football team if it were me, you're the one who actually did it," Kendall said pointing his finger at him.

"Wait, I'm not mad that you did it, I'm just a little annoyed that you never told me. We could have gotten together ages ago if I knew," Carlos said pouting at Logan.

"Maybe it wasn't the right timing then," Logan shrugged. "Everything happens for a reason."

"Yeah, I guess it's a miracle we got together at all, after all these years of dancing around one another," Carlos replied.

"Hey we did it though, we got married," Logan said.

"Oh my god, we got married, that happened," Carlos said as if the fact just dawned on him that they were in fact married.

The guys all laughed at him as Kendall's cell phone beeped. He fished it from his pocket.

"That's Katie and she says the boys are getting fussy," Kendall said.

"We should get back," James said.

"You guys go ahead, we will catch up," Logan said.

Kendall and James nodded as they took off back towards the barn. Once they were out of sight Logan turned to Carlos with a smile.

"I still can't believe we got married," Logan said smiling at the Latino. He stepped up closer to him.

"I know," Carlos said, "I've spent so long being in love with you from afar and suddenly you're all mine and now we are married with a baby."

"Life is strange like that," Logan replied with a smile. He leaned in and kissed Carlos.

Carlos smiled into the kiss, as his arms came to rest on Logan's shoulders. His fingers tangled in the hair at the base of his neck. They parted, and Logan rested his forehead on Carlos. They stood there like that, just soaking in this moment.

"We have to go back," Logan said softly.

"Not yet," Carlos said, not wanting to open his eyes. He wanted to stay like this forever.

"But Carlos, the sooner we head back the sooner we can end the night and get the honeymoon started," Logan said grinning at him.

"But we don't leave until Friday," Carlos said.

"Los," Logan chuckled. "Oh my innocent Los."

"Oh!" Carlos said, his eyes going wide and his cheeks flushing. "That part. Yeah I wanna do that too."

"I love you," Logan chuckled. He leaned in and kissed him again. "God I love you so much."

"I love you too," Carlos smiled up at him.

—At the Beginning—

Kendall laughed as he pushed James down onto his old twin bed. James returned his laugh pulling him down with him.

They were currently staying with Jennifer and Katie in their old home, which Jennifer never sold. She used it mostly as a summer home, or stayed there when the boys were on tour. Kendall was glad she still kept it, he didn't want to stay in a hotel.

They had left the wedding after bidding Carlos and Logan good night one last time. Kendall was so happy for his best friends. He was glad

They had put the boys to bed, the wedding had exhausted them and the after party was worse. Kendall was sure those two would be asleep for hours. Which was good considering what he wanted to do with James.

Kenda started to strip the taller man, his lips touching any skin he could find. Once James was a panting, gasping mess beneath him Kendall smirked. He looked down at the brunette was was down to just his underwear.

"Wow," Kendall said slowly as he looked down at James. "As a kid did you ever think we would end up like this, in my childhood bedroom?" He asked.

"Don't make this weird," James groaned as he sat up.

"Too late, I'm weird deal with it," Kenda grinned. He leaned forward and captured his lips in a kiss. "Seriously man, I'm living the dream with James Diamond in my bed."

"No, James Knight, your husband," James corrected him.

"Even better," Kendall grinned. He leaned forward and kissed him again. "How did I manage to make James Diamond my husband?"

"You're just lucky," James said, "I had people beating down my door, but you were the best option. I chose you out of all of them and for some reason you chose me."

"It was an easy choice really," Kendall said, he brought a hand up to James' heart. "I knew deep down you were the one for me after our first date at Hills."

"That wasn't our first date," James said, shaking his head.

"Yes it was, it was the first time I asked you out. We went out to a movie and made fun of it til we got kicked out and then we somehow wound up at Hills and had apple pie and a vanilla milkshake, it was perfect and I knew then that I loved you," Kendall said.

"Yes, but our first date was the day before that by the pool, just you and I hanging out and having fun," James said as he pecked the blonde on the lips.

"That wasn't a date, we do that all the time," Kendall replied.

"Let's agree to disagree then," James chuckled as he toyed with the buttons on Kendall's shirt. "You are wearing too many clothes."

"What are you gonna do about it," Kendall asked.

James expertly opened the buttons. He pushed the shirt off the blonde. Kendall dove back down kissing and nipping at any exposed skin he could find. His hands anchoring themselves on James' hips.

"Kendall," James breathed as he clutched at the blonde. "Fuck, I need you now."

"Patience Jamie, good things come to those who wait," Kendall said as he opened his pants. He palmed his growing bulge. "I'm gonna take care of you and make you feel so good."

"Please do," James gasped.

Kendall pulled his underwear down and quickly took him in his mouth. James gasped and pressed his fist to his mouth muffling the sounds he made. Kendall expertly bobbed his head and flicked his tongue just the way James liked. He pulled off with a pop once James was a panting mess. He lifted James legs higher and moved lower licking at his balls before dipping lower.

"Ken," James moaned.

Kendall grinned as he pressed his tongue to his hole again. He licked and teased the rim making James squirm and moan into his hand. Kendall worked two fingers into the eager brunette. He knew James was more than ready for him. He wanted to draw this out. He wanted to make James beg and plead for more.

"Kendall please," James whined.

"Please what?" Kendall asked, sitting up.

"Don't tease," James panted.

"Tell me what you want Jamie," Kendall said using his pet name for the brunette.

Kendall scooted closer and hooked James's legs over his hips. He leaned down and teasingly brushed their lips together. He moaned as they made contact. He was so close to losing it already, just from listening to James moan. He brought a hand up to James's hair and gently scraped his fingers along his scalp. He knew he was the only person in the world allowed to touch his hair.

"Ken," James gasped, rutting against him.

"What?" Kendall asked, "What do you want Jamie? You gotta tell me." He pressed his hips down into James' pausing his movements. He didn't want this over too soon. James whined at that. He wrapped his arms around Kendall's shoulders and clung to him.

"Kendall please," James whined.

"Please what?" Kendall asked with a grin. He knew he almost had him. He leaned forward and nipped at his neck.

"Fuck Kendall, just fuck me please," James begged.

"There we go," Kendall said. He grabbed the packet of lube he had placed on the bedside table and tore it open.

He wasted no time sliding into the man beneath him. There was no more time for teasing. They were both at their limit. James gripped his shoulders tight.

"I said fuck me, I'm not a glass doll," James snapped.

"Give me a minute, unless you want this to be over now," Kendall shot back.

James' laugh turned into a small yelp as Kendall nipped playfully at his collarbone. Kendall pressed his face into his shoulder.

"That close already," James asked.

"Yes, you've been teasing me all night with the promise of sex. Now that I've got you right where I want you I'm a little extra worked up," Kendall said.

"Yeah, time to let out all the pent up frustration then," James replied.

"Don't have to tell me twice," Kendall said.

He set a quick pace. James brought his fist back to his mouth trying to keep somewhat quiet. He knew Jennifer and Katie slept with noise canceling headphones, it wasn't them he was worried about. He didn't want the boys waking up.

Kendall brought him back to the present as he grabbed him and started stroking him off time with this thrusts. James gasped and nearly came right then. He fought it back, he wanted this to last. It all felt so good.

"Come on Jamie let go," Kendall urged him. "Come for me."

That was it. James could hold on any longer. His back arched as he came between them. Kendall grunted and shuddered as it all became too much for him. He placed his hands on the bed next to James' head, barely holding himself up. He looked down at James stated and giddy. He gave a small chuckle and kissed the brunette.

"That was fun," Kendall said.

"That was too long since the last time. Let's not wait thay long again," James said.

"It's only been a week," Kendall chuckled. He finally slipped out of him. He grabbed a tshirt from the floor to clean himself up.

"Way too long, I need my daily dose of Kendall," James said.

"Daily?" Kendall asked as he stood up from the bed. He grabbed a pair of pajama pants and slipped them on. "Don't ask for much do you?"

"Are you really complaining?" James asked arching a brow at his husband.

"Never, You know I'd give to you morning, noon, and night if I could. I can never get enough of you," Kendall said leaning over the bed and kissing James' forehead. "I'm gonna go get something to clean up."

"Hurry back," James said as he snuggled into the bed.

Kendall left the room. James rolled onto his side snuggling his pillow. He relaxed as he waited for Kendall.

Suddenly he felt a cool washcloth touch him. He jumped and looked over his shoulder.

"Hey sleeping beauty," Kendall chuckled. He quickly cleaned Hames up and tossed him some underwear.

James slipped them on. Kendall grabbed the blanket and crawled into bed covering them both up. He pulled James close and kissed the back of his neck.

"Love you," Kendall said softly.

"Love you," James replied sleepily.

He was just drifting off to sleep again when the bedroom door opened. He felt Kendall move.

"Mom?"

"Jake was looking for you and he got turned around," Jennifer said.

James heard a whimper and Kendall jump up. James rolled over to see Kendall taking Jake from her with a thank you.

"Hey bud, what's up," Kendall asked softly as he hugged the small boy close.

"Boo man," Jake said.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Kendall asked as he returned to bed. He laid Jake next to James. James quickly engulfed him in a hug.

"There is no boo man here," James said, hugging him. "Daddy will protect us."

"A-am," Jake said.

"I'll protect Adam too," Kendall promised. He laid down next to Jake.

"A-am," Jake said again.

"He's a sleeping bud, plus we have the monitor and we can hear when he cries," Kendall said. That seemed to please Jake as he finally laid back against James.

—At the Beginning—

Carlos smiled as he listened to Logan move about their suite. He was getting ready for a day at the beach.

They were in Mexico for their honeymoon. It was the perfect vacation destination. They had been in Mexico for a week now and were enjoying one another and being married. They rarely left their room at all. Carlos even had family in the area. They were going to visit eventually, but first they wanted to relax. They had two more weeks here in Mexico to explore and have fun.

"Hey, you ready to go-obviously not,," Logan said as he walked into the room. He frowned as he looked down at the Latino.

Carlos looked up from his spot on the bed, where he hadn't moved from yet. He was still naked and pliant from their earlier activities.

"I was thinking about it," Carlos replied with a smile, "but getting dressed takes too much energy."

"Carlos," Logan whined. He sat down beside him. "I wanna explore and get out to actually see the beach once while we are here."

"We will get there," Carlos yawned as he sat up. He scooted closer to his husband, the sheet that was covering him fell to his waist.

"Yeah, it will go quicker if you get dressed," Logan replied.

"Nah, I like being naked it's so freeing," Carlos said, stretching. He laid back down, being sure to give Logan a show.

"I like this sexy new side of you Carlos that never wants to get dressed. I really do, and honestly I don't care if you do, it's other people that care," Logan chuckled as he leaned in and kissed him on the nose.

Carlos wrinkled his nose leaning back. "Your aim sucks, my lips are here." He leaned in and kissed Logan.

Logan sighed into the kiss turning his head away. "I know what you're doing and it's not gonna work," Logan said softly.

"But it's our honeymoon. We are childless and in Mexico. We are supposed to be spending his time together having all the fun and sex we want," Carlos said.

"That's what we have been doing for almost a week now and even this morning," Logan said.

"And?" Carlos asked pushing the sheet away to reveal his half hard cock to his husband.

"Stop," Logan whined as he looked down at it.

"Beach later, sex now?" Carlos asked.

"Promise?" Logan asked as he grabbed Carlos's half hard cock, running his thumb over the head gently. "Promise me we will see some of Mexico before we leave in two weeks?"

"Of course," Carlos gasped. He leaned up and connected their lips as Logan started to stroke him.

"You are gonna be the death of me," Logan sighed. He quickly moved until he was between Carlos' spread legs again.

"But what a fun way to go," Carlos said with a grin.

He quickly set about getting Logan naked again. It didn't take much work until his clothes were on the floor. Carlos pulled Logan close again, kissing him. He flipped them over until he was straddling Logan.

"I got this," Carlos said, "you relax."

"I'll enjoy the view too," Logan replied, smiling up at the Latino.

Carlos moved lower and quickly took Logan into his mouth. Logan gasped and moaned as Carlos did his work. Logan tangled his hands in Carlos' hair urging him on.

Once Carlos deemed his ready, he leaned across the bed and grabbed the lube. He slicked Logan up and quickly positioned himself above the brunette. He was still loose from their earlier activities.

Carlos sank down with a groan. Logan's hand came to his hips as he groaned too. Carlos set a quick pace. Logan tightened his hold on the Latino and met his thrusts earning a broken cry from Carlos.

"Fuck Carlos," Logan groaned.

"Mm Logie, you feel so good," Carlos hummed.

"God I love you," Logan said, pulling Carlos down for a kiss.

He flipped them over so he was on top. He quickly reentered the Latino. Carlos groaned and started rambling in Spanish. It was one of the hottest things Logan had discovered about him. When he was gone and deep in pleasure he started speaking Spanish.

Logan felt the telltale signs of his own orgasm approaching. He knew he wouldn't last much longer. He grabbed Carlos and stroked him in time with his thrusts.

It wasn't long before they both hit the high. Logan fell down beside the Latino. He snuggled in close to him.

"You're lucky you're cute you know that," Logan said.

"We will get out of this room eventually, but I just want you all to myself for just a bit longer," Carlos chuckled.

"We have all the time in the world Carlos. I promised you, I love you and I'll never leave you," Logan said, grabbing his left hand and bringing it up to his lips. He kissed the ring there. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you Carlos. You are the one for me, this is it. This is where I belong. Right next to you."

"Yeah, with you by my side, I feel like I can do anything," Carlos said.

—At the Beginning—

James tapped his foot anxiously. Waiting was the worst part. He glanced over at Kendall who was currently playing in the corner with Jake and Adam.

They were currently in the waiting room of their OB. James had gotten a positive pregnancy test finally. He took two more to be safe, and they had been positive too. They hadn't told anyone yet, James wanted a doctor's confirmation first.

"You gotta relax, they will call you back soon, we've been through this twice already," Kendal said without looking up at his husband.

"How-" James started.

"Because I know you," Kendall said, finally looking up at him. "Pregnant or not, we got this."

"Yeah, but I don't know if I can take it if I'm not," James said looking down at his lap.

Kendall stood and told Jake and Adam to stay put. They kept playing with the toys before them. Kendall walked over to the brunette. He sat down beside him and took his hand in his. James looked up at the blonde.

"It's ok to be upset, but we will keep trying and maybe I could try and carry this one," Kendall said.

"That's generous of you, but I want this, I want to be the one-" James started.

"It's a thought, ok, we can talk about it later," Kendall said.

The pair looked up as a nurse walked another couple out. Kendall looked surprised as he recognized the couple as Carlos and Logan. They both seemed a bit distracted. The pair startled as Jake and Adam ran up to them calling out.

"Calos!"

"Logie!"

Kendall and James stood to gather the boys. Logan looked over at them surprised. Carlos scooped Adam up in his arms as Logan caught Jake.

"Hey guys," Kendall said as they walked up to them.

"Hey, didn't know you guys would be here," Logan said, adjusting his hold on Jake who was babbling away trying to get his attention.

"Something you wanna tell us?" James asked.

"We had way too much fun on the honeymoon," Logan said slowly.

"You guys too?" Carlos asked.

"Hopefully," James said with a smile.

"No Lilly?" Kendall asked.

"With your mom, she offered to watch her for us," Carlos replied.

"We can take the boys if you want," Logan offered.

"You don't have to-" Kendall started.

"We don't mind," Logan said looking at Carlos.

"Adam wanna go for a ride with uncle Carlos?" Carlos asked the toddler. Adam hugged Carlos close.

"See, Adam's ready to go, Jake wanna go get a snack?" Logan asked the toddler in his arms.

"Snack!" Jake declared.

"We will meet you guys at the diner after and we can celebrate together," Logan said.

"Ok then," Kendall nodded his head as James' name was called. "Behave boys." He said knowing it was useless.

James tugged Kendall away as they waved to the boys. They followed their nurse back to an exam room. James had already provided a urine sample when they arrived. Now they were waiting for the result. He was anxious as the nurse took his vitals.

"What are we hoping for? I saw the two cuties you were waving too," she said.

"Our boys, Jake and Adam," James said, "we are hoping for a positive result. We want one more to add to our brood."

"Well, the doctor will be in as soon as we get a result," She said with a smile. She left after that.

James leaned back in his chair. He was anxious and he didn't know why. If he was pregnant that was good. It's what he wanted right, one more kid and they were done. If they weren't they would just have to keep trying. That's all there was to it. Why was he so anxious? Kendall grabbed his hand. He looked up at the blonde with a smile.

"It's gonna be ok, whatever result we get," Kendall said.

"I know, I just want another baby, I don't want them too far apart from the boys," James said.

"It's gonna be ok James," Kendall said, "it will happen when it's meant to happen."

—At the Beginning—

Carlos smiled as he played peek-a-boo with Adam. He was laughing so hard at Carlos. Logan and Jake were coloring on the kids menu Jake had received. They were still waiting for Kendall and James. They had taken the boys to the park for a bit before they headed to the diner.

"Wonder what's taking them so long," Carlos said once Adam grew bored of their game. He started drinking his bubba.

"Don't know," Logan replied looking up.

"I hope it's not bad news," Carlos said.

"It's not!"

Kendall and James sat down across from them with big grins.

"Congratulations!" Logan said.

"You guys too?" Kendall asked.

"Yep, another one on the way," Logan said.

"Just a little surprised as we weren't really trying, but hey it happens," Carlos said.

"Does this make us pregnancy buddies," James asked.

"Oh my god yes, when is your due date, they put mine at the end of February," Carlos said quickly.

"March 10th," James said.

"This is gonna be fun," Carlos said.

"What are the odds," Kendall said.

"If any of our kids are gonna be super best friends it will be these two!" James said.

"For sure," Carlos agreed.

The guys all settled into chatter and laughter. They kept the boys occupied too by color and playing with them. Jake was proud of his art while Adam just wanted to grab everything and shove it in his mouth.

"So Kendall, have you given Gustavo's offer any thought?" Logan asked.

"Yeah, I might just take him up on it," Kendall said.

"Do it, you've got an ear for music. I think you could totally be a kick ass producer," Carlos said.

"Kick ass," Jake said.

The four adults looked down at the toddler shocked. He looked up at them confused yet proud of copying Carlos.

"Don't get mad," James said to the other three. "We just correct him and then correct ourselves. We need to be careful Jake is in the copy cat stage."

"Jake bud we don't say those things," Kendall said.

"Yeah, uncle Carlos used a bad word," Carlos said quickly.

"We don't use bad words," Logan said.

"'M sow-wee," Jake said, looking up at them with his big puppy dog eyes.

"It's ok bud, just don't use bad words ok," Kendall said, patting him on the head. "Anyways, I've been looking into taking some classes at UCLA too. Kelly said it would help me work my way up the ladder quicker."

"I've been thinking of taking some online classes too," James said.

"He is trying to convince me to do it too," Carlos said, "pointing to Logan."

"It's just for a back up, we can't do this whole singing and dancing thing for the rest of our lives," Logan said.

"How are the pre-med classes going," Kendall asked.

"It's going. It's a little more challenging now that we have Lilly, but I'm getting it done," Logan said.

"With kids it'll be harder, but I'm sure if anyone can do it, you can," James said.

"Yeah you're like the smartest guy we know," Kendall said.

"Yeah, I'm sure I can, but I'm not gonna rush it, I've got time and I don't wanna lose time with Lilly and this new little one," Logan said.

—At the Beginning—

Camille looked around the apartment. It looked bare with everything packed up again. Damien, Jake, and Adam were running around the empty living room shouting and laughing. Steve, Logan, and Kendall were hauling furniture while Carlos and James were relegated to small boxes. Carlos had been labeled a high risk pregnancy this time around. He was having a hard time already at three months pregnant. James was doing fine, but his stomach was a bit bigger this time around something he hated that everyone seemed to point out.

"Boys," Camille said walking into the living room. She held out the snacks she had managed to find for them. They all cheered and ran to her. She handed them each a small bag of cookies. She turned to the older boys.

"I thought you guys said there would be more help," Kendall whined.

"My brother was supposed to be here," Steve said, "along with my parents but I don't know where they are."

"Have you tried calling them like I asked," Camille asked.

"Not yet, I was going to but I got distracted by your beauty," Steve said.

"Nice save," Logan snorted.

"Oh Steven you romantic, why don't you just marry me now," Camille asked sarcastically.

"Why aren't we married?" Steve asked.

"What?" Camille asked, shocked.

"I mean why not? These guys are all married already. Why not just do it, I know you're the one, why wait?" Steve asked.

"Are you seriously asking me to marry you?" Camille asked.

"Yes I think I am," Steve said.

"Right now?" Camille asked, looking around the half packed apartment, and to the guys confused.

"Forget them, this is you and me," Steve said, grabbing her hand. Camille looked back at him. "I love you Mille. You and Damien are my entire world. There is no doubt in my mind that I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

"Oh Steve," Camille said softly.

"Wait," Steve said, letting go of her hand. He took off into the bedroom.

"Wsit?" Camille asked. "Did you just stop your proposal?" She called after him.

"Hold on!" Steve called back.

There was a crash from the bedroom and shuffling around. Camille looked at the guys. They looked as confused as she felt.

"I don't know what's going on," Camille said.

"I think your getting engaged," Logan replied slowly.

"But he ran off," James said.

"He's coming back, it's not like he ran out the door," Kendall said.

"Yeah unless he's climbing out the window," Carlos laughed.

"Ha ha, you guys are so funny," Steve said as he exited the bedroom.

"Oh you're back," Camille teased, "gonna finish what you started there sir?" she asked.

"Yes actually I am," Steve said walking up to her. "I know this isn't an engagement ring yet, but for right now it should work."

"What should work?" Camille asked.

Steve held up a small plastic ring. Camille gasped and started laughing.

"I can't believe you kept that," Camille said.

"Hey, I told you it would come in handy," Steve said grinning. "Now, Camille Roberts, will you marry me?"

"You're ridiculous, you know that right?" Camille asked.

"It's a placeholder," Steve said, "now answer the question."

"Of course I'll marry you," Camille said happily. She threw her arms around him as he moved to give her the ring. The ring went flying causing them to laugh. Neither seemed to care at the moment as they met in a sweet breathtaking kiss.

"Aw, you guys are adorable," James said.

"What's with the ring?" Kendall asked.

"It was a Cracker Jack prize from the first baseball game I took her too," Steve said.

"I seriously can't believe you kept that," Camille said, turning around. "Where did it go?"

"I don't know," Steve said looking past her.

"I think Damien has it," Kendall said.

Everyone turned to look at the toddler as his hand came down from his mouth. Camille's jaw dropped as she watched him swallow the ring.

"Oh no," Steve said.

"Don't panic, it will freak him out," Logan said quickly.

He walked over to the boys casually. He smiled as Damien "Hey bud," he said as he picked him up.

"Woh-gan," Damien said, smiling at him.

"Can you open your mouth for me?" he asked. He opened his mouth to show Damien. "Can you go Ahh?" he asked opening his mouth once more.

Damien did as he was told. He copied Logan. Logan took a quick glance in his mouth and frowned.

"Good job bud," He said as he hugged the toddler close. Damien smiled and hugged Logan please.

"He needs to go to the ER now, I cannot see it. He swallowed it and we need to make sure it's not lodged in his esophagus," Logan said calmly.

"How are you so calm?" Steve asked placing a hand on Camille's shoulder.

"The hospital I volunteered at for a class had me helping a pediatrician and she told me that kids feed off energy. If you panic they panic. If you're calm, they're calm," Logan said.

"Wow," Steve said.

"Yeah, now I am going to hand you Damien and you are going to be calm," Logan said looking at Camille.

"Of course, why would I panic about my toddler swallowing a toy," Camille asked her voice rising in pitch.

"Steve, I am going to hand you Damien now, please be more calm than your fiancée," Logan said.

"Yeah," Steve nodded his head. "Come on Day, we are gonna go for a car ride."

"Fiancée, that's right," Camille said, giving a dry laugh. "Now let's celebrate with taking out child to the ER because he swallowed the ring."

"You guys go, take care of Damien. We can finish up here," Kendall said.

"Yes, take him straight to the Children's hospital ER too, otherwise they will be sending you in circles trying to find someone to do the procedure," Logan said.

"Got it," Steve said, bringing Damien to grab his coat and keys. Camille followed.

"Keep us updated," James said.

"Will do," Camille said.

She and Steve left with Damien. The guys all shared a look before they started packing again. James sat down with the boys to keep them entertained. Carlos tagged him out after a while.

Almost six hours later Camille and Steve, after several texts and phone call updates, arrived home with the ring in a small specimen cup and a bouncing Damien. He did not look like he had been through anything traumatic at all while Steve and Camille looked tired and ready to collapse.

"Kids man," Steve sighed.

"You would never know he had a scope shoved down his throat," Camille said as she watched Damein run up to Jake and Adam.

"Kids are resilient creatures," Logan said.

"I'll say," Camille said. She looked around the apartment. "You guys finished?"

"Most of it, we left the bedroom alone but we got most of Damien's stuff packed too," Kendall said.

"You guys are awesome," Camille said.

"Don't worry about it, we know if something happened to one of the boys you'd help us if we needed it," James said.

"Of course," Camille said quickly.

"Ok I don't know about you guys but I'm starving. Let's go get something to eat," Kendall said.

"Yes please," Carlos agreed, putting a hand up.
