Serena glares at Davis, " Remind me why the hell we thought it was a good idea to come after this egg without Joe? "

" The sooner we can get Ken to his senses the quicker we find the master mind behind all of this. You know that. " Davis replies.

" Okay, but why the hell am I under the freaking water when I can't swim? Seriously, Dai, couldn't we have asked Michael to come. Someone whom has a fucking water digimon! " Serena fires back.

" Easy, sis, Cody will come through for us. Right now we need to find that egg. " TK says.

Renamon watches her partner, Serena was barely holding on to the edges of her sanity. Davis takes a closer look at her and curses under his breath before sighing, " Name of the first Lunar King to inherit the throne? "

Serena blinks, " Refuge. "

" What is he famous for? "

" Creating the Sailor Enforcers and making it so no one could sway them in any way, shape, or form. " Serena answers as Davis and TK starts digging.

" Names of Sedation I's children? "

" Tranquility and Haven. "

Kari watches amused as Davis keeps Serena distracted from their surroundings by questioning her knowledge of her own ancestors and other historical things. Davis understood better how Serena functioned than anyone else. Their soul bond had to be reasserting itself at this point, giving him an inside track to how she was actually feeling.

Real World:

Cody thinks back on how everyone ended up trapped under the Digital World's ocean even as he races off to get Joe, though he also had Izzy put in a call to Michael as well. They were the only two that had aquatic digimon. He remembered what Serena had told him about lying, plus, Sedation had pretty much informed him that everyone lied, even his grandpa. He had to do what was necessary to save his friends and if that meant lying to get Joe out of that test then that was what he had to do.

Sedation had let him know that bending the truth and lying were not malicious in and of themselves, it was all about the intent. There was no way in hell he was going to tell his mom or grandpa about what was currently going on in his life. They'd be safer without knowing the truth. Of course, Serena's parents as Usagi hadn't even treated her decently, as she'd said the only decent thing Kenji had ever done for her was to get her martial arts lessons.

Once Cody tells the secretary that Joe's brother Jim was sick, apparently Serena had talked to Joe about what would need to be done about getting him out of class and he had set it up with his older brother. Jim was currently with Sora's father working on a research project, but Jim had agreed that he could be used as an excuse to get Joe out of class if need be. Joe joins Cody quickly and they race out the door heading for the school. Izzy sent a message stating that Michael was already there and was looking for their old friend Whamon. This meant that Joe and Cody would be able to get to their friends even quicker.

Joe could already feel his crest reacting, the others were counting on him and there was no way in hell he was going to let them down. He held the Crest of Reliability and he would live up to his crest to his death if necessary. Izzy has the port ready and Gomamon looks unusually serious, " Let's go and save our friends. I'd like to get some water battles in. "

" Whamon is ready to extract the others. " Izzy says.

They head in and Gomamon blinks as more power than ever before filled him up as Cody and Joe enter Whamon's mouth, " Gomamon warp digivolve to… Plesiomon! "

Joe smiles, " Looking good there, partner. "

Michael's Seadramon joins Plesiomon while Michael transfers into Whamon's mouth. Plesiomon and Seadramon take the fight to the MegaSeadramon that was being a pain in the ass. " Sorrow Blue! " Plesiomon calls out and MegaSeadramon is quick to avoid that attack.

Down under the oil platform Serena has collapsed and the others are close to doing so as well. Davis has Serena's head cushioned on his lap and his power of Miracles is pulsing gently into her to buy time. She had almost stopped breathing before he had gotten to her. Kari and TK cheer when Whamon busts into their prison. Joe and Cody both drop down and examine the egg, Cody picks it up and frowns, " Joe, it wants you as well. "

Joe places a hand on it and his digivice upgrades to having blue grips with a silver body. The egg places itself in his D-Terminal at the same time Cody's does. Davis had been quick to get Serena into Whamon's mouth, the digimon partners save for Armadillomon following him, along with Kari and TK, Michael frowns when he sees the golden glow concentrating on Serena coming from Davis, " Joe, hurry up, we need to get Serena top side now. " Michael calls out.

Joe joins them and Cody grins, " Digi Armor Energize! "

Behind Armadillomon images of Bukamon, Gomamon, Zudomon, and Plesiomon flash before he calls out, " Armadillomon armor digivolve to… Submarimon, the reliable submarine. "

Cody quickly gets in and Whamon pulls out. Plesiomon and Seadramon are just finishing up their fight with MegaSeadramon when Whamon heads for land. Joe is monitoring Serena's vitals carefully, as Saeko had taught him what they were normally and how to treat her as a combat medic when he had stated he was in fact the medic. " Davis, how long has she been like this? " Joe asks him.

" I started pumping in my healing power basically the instant she collapsed. Thankfully she never truly stopped breathing though. " Davis answers Joe, picking her up and carrying her to land.

" That's good, but why was she the only one to collapse? " Joe asks.

" We were all on the verge, it's just sis was probably helped along because of her empathy, with her concentrating on her breathing she couldn't keep her barriers up. " TK muses aloud.

" That probably does explain it. The combination of little air and being empathically overwhelmed is what did it to her. TG, let Matt know we're heading straight to his place, she needs rest. " Davis says, " Digi Armor Energize! "

" Veemon armor digivolve to… Raidramon, the Storm of Friendship! "

Once Davis has him and Serena situated they take off and head for the Ishida apartment while the others decide to wreak some more havoc while they were there.

Emperor's Base:

" Not another mega on their side. This is getting ridiculous! How are they getting their digimon up to mega so easily! " Ken screams it in his fury.

Wormmon does his best to remain small and unassuming. He did not want to attract his partner's attention right now. That was the absolute worst thing he could do when Ken was like this. He wished the kind boy he had met three years ago would come back, or maybe that Ryo would come and help out. Ken was getting out of hand.
