(Chip's P.O.V.) -During the duration of Snoops's death and the discovery of enchanted treasure-

I stood out on guard next to Dale while Pippa and Logan used their dragon fire to break the shield down, with Jasmine calling out if one more blast is needed. On the other side, I can hear Aunt Laurel and Uncle Wilden reassuring the young ones while praying that their sons are safe somehow...

It's unbelievable that I and Dale are cousins to their sons...Boy, I wonder if Great-Uncle Phil knew about this as he's living up on Mount Olympus with Hercules.

I then heard a triumphant laugh from behind, and I looked over to see that the shield's down, and that the others are coming in, with Adam frowning slightly, "Sooner or later, Medusa will feel that her shield's out. We must be quick, everyone.".

Zuri nodded, "Right, here you go. Lockpicks for each of you.", handing out lockpicks to me, Dale, Pippa, Logan, Jasmine, Adam, and keeping one to herself. With a silent twin gesture between me and Dale, I went to Aunt Laurel's cell while Dale went to Uncle Wilden's cell.

I smiled widely, "Hey, Aunt Laurel! Been ages since we had that family dinner, eh?". Aunt Laurel sobbed in relief, "It's so good to see you, Chipper!", calling me by that nickname I fondly missed, "Please, have you seen Barley and little Ian?".

I shook my head, "No, sorry, but I have a feeling that they're pretty much safe with a couple of friends that have been separated from us in a, ah, orc attack.". Aunt Laurel looked half relieved yet she certainly has that glimmer of concern in her eyes as I worked on the lock, and grinned as I heard the click of the lock working free.

Aunt Laurel ran out to hug me as I opened the door, and I exhaled happily, relishing in her familiar bear hug before I heard Uncle Wilden call out to her, and Aunt Laurel let go of me with a grateful smile before hugging Uncle Wilden almost instantly.

The other cells opened free, releasing the young enchanted animals, and Pippa urgently called out, "Hurry, we must get out of this dungeon!", and Uncle Wilden replied, "Right. It's okay, boys, we will follow them out of here.", reassuring the youngsters as we sprinted and skipped out of the dungeons, heading upstairs.

Zuri led us all the way until we heard strange sounds coming ahead, and there, in the distance, we saw a swarm of wild, raging crocodiles, coming at us. Logan growled lowly, "Take that turn back there, I got this!", before shifting into his Night Fury form, with Pippa gesturing hastily at the youngsters with a glare at Zuri, "Take them to safety! I ain't leaving Logan alone to fight those freshies!".

With a growl, she partly shifted into her red dragon form, popping out her tail, her wings, and claws. The hallway couldn't fit her full dragon form at all, so this is the best she could do. With some swift swoops, most of us held the youngsters in our arms as they couldn't keep up well enough like the rest of us while we followed Zuri back around into the turn Logan mentioned, being another hallway as I heard faint fire blasts and yells behind us.

We ran some more, with Adam and Jasmine checking the few doors, and within a few moments of seeing that we couldn't hear the fire blasts anymore, we slowed down, and that was when I saw the big doors in the distance, speaking to Zuri, "Hey, I think that's the way out of here, Zuri!" as I sprinted over, opening it up.

Suddenly, there was a flash of green, and the next thing I knew, I was staring into two gigantic golden eyes and sharp teeth as my neck was slowly being choked by sharp claws, hearing Dale scream for me. I fought back, realizing that this monstrosity of a crocodile is far stronger and more dangerous than the army of crocodiles we had killed back in the courtyard, barely noticing that there is another crocodile like him close by.

Next thing I knew, I was free, roughly bruised from hitting the floor and taking deep breaths as Dale came over to check on me, looking frantically worried as I heard a scream of pain from the monster crocodile, hearing a familiar voice nearby, "Nice aim, John!". I looked over in surprise to see Silver and Emma, holding two blue elf children in their arms, with Emma holding a metal spear.

I heard a scream of rage, "Not Rothbart! Not Nero's son!", seeing a red-haired woman in the distance on a platform of throne chairs, and Emma snorted with a raised eyebrow, "So, you're Medusa. The rumors described your sense of being overdramatic.", just as I heard a sob from Aunt Laurel, "My babies!".

One of the blue elf children peeked over, and called out, "Mommy!", and Emma smiled warmly, handing over the metal spear to Silver as he handed over the other child to her before she walked over to Aunt Laurel and Uncle Wilden, reuniting my baby cousins with their parents.

Medusa growled lowly, "I am not overdramatic! Zelda, attack them!", and the other monster crocodile growled, and went into all fours, charging fast at us when a flash of metal came into Zelda's side, causing Zelda to balk out and fall, giving out with fading eyes as the spear apparently hit the heart.

Silver glowered angrily, "You shouldn't have done that, lass. No one threatens my friends nor my family. You deserve punishment for what you've done, though I think the dungeons wouldn't handle you. You are a... Ah, what was that word earlier, Emma, about a woman screeching like a bird?".

Emma smirked wryly, "A harpy.", and Medusa growled angrily, "Don't call me a harpy!", stomping furiously off the throne, running at Emma when a snort came behind me, and I looked back to see Jason leading the others into the room, "Oh, no, you don't. Ring, if you please.".

I saw a green-ish-gold stream of magic from something on Jason's hand, and it flashed to Medusa, causing her to shriek out in pain as I heard bones breaking and saw her body changing in size, the glow of green-gold magic disappearing off, and there, instead of a skinny human body, there stood a Chihuahua-sized lizard whose inky black skin is striped with light red streaks across the back and tail, and above beady green eyes upon the scalp is dark bloody red snakes, alive and quivering with hissed warnings, and the feet are webbed, along with a set of ears that seemed to be like fins from a fish.

Medusa opened her mouth, and out came growls as I never saw any sharp teeth at all, and her eyes seemed to widen in horror yet fear, growling louder, and Jason chuckled teasingly with a sly smirk, "It suits you better than being a harpy, anyway, Madame Medusa, or should I say, lizard girl?".

The tension suddenly seemed to vanish with I joining in with giggles, and laughter followed by, thanks to the gang and rescued prisoners, seeing Logan and Pippa coming in with satisfied, sooty looks, realizing that they got rid of the swarm easily enough. Well, it looks like we got the castle back, and we vanquished one of the three evil women. Not bad, and this day is barely starting.
