Remember We'll Be History

Twenty-Seven: Breaking and War

Mordor- A Few Weeks Ago

'I don't trust the movements,' Celebrimbor told Talion. They had been seeing it for a while.

"They seemed to be restless," Talion told him.

'They are being called to arms, war is coming,'

"Where?" Talion asked him.

'We can ask,' Celebrimbor said and pointed to one of the Orcs getting ready to move. Talion raised an eyebrow before he moved and took the Orc down, and touched his face burning him with the powers of Celebrimbor.

"Where are they going?"

"The Lonely Mountain, to take over the Mountain, the Dragon died," the Orc told them. Talion was about to kill him but Celebrimbor stayed his hand.

'We might need eyes,' he said. Talion just saw how the Orc's eyes turned blue and soon would his eyes to see.

"We will need more than him," Talion said.

'Interesting, we will have to hunt them down,' Celebrimbor told him.

Erebor

"Thorin, don't..." all Bella felt was gravity as her body began to fall. The other Dwarves ran over trying to get to her. Gandalf tried to move faster than he could ever believe. He and everyone saw that Thorin was pushed, what they couldn't see was that he was sent straight to the wall. Bella was surprised as she fell down the wall and made the only decision she could. She screamed.

"Sherlock!" she asked.

'I leave for just a few weeks and I find you married and being thrown off a Mountain,' Sherlock told her in her mind.

"Not the time," Bella said but she was suddenly grabbed around her knees and waist. She opened her eyes being terrified that she was going to be a pancake and saw that she was floating down. Her body seemed to be burning and she saw that she was glowing.

"You came,"

"I always catch my heart," Sherlock told her, and tears began to gather in her eyes. Those were the words that he said to her when they got married.

"I always need my mind," Bella told him. Sherlock smiled at her before she landed in Gandalf's arms. Bella looked at Gandalf and looked at Sherlock, who had a vicious look on his face, and he moved fast. Bella gasp and she fainted, and Gandalf walked her over to both Thranduil and Bard.

"It was too much," Thranduil said reaching out to her, Gandalf did not want to let go of Bella, but knew that she would be safe with the Elf King. He needed to be sure that Thorin would not be murdered by Sherlock.

"She did just fall off a Mountain technically," Bard told him.

"That is not, what I meant?" Thranduil said pulling Bella close to him. "That was really strong for him to have caught her,"

"Did you help?" Bards ask Mina.

'No, that was all Sherlock and from what I can see, he is incredibly angry,' She told him, touching Bella.

Thorin was standing up and he was suddenly smacked into the wall once more. He looked up and the other Dwarves were looking at where he was and that he couldn't seem to move. Thorin looked up to see cold eyes looking at him.

"I trusted you," Sherlock told him.

"She betrayed me," Thorin said. "She is nothing but a lying w.." he didn't get to finish before he was punched and thrown to the side. Dwalin moved trying to see where he could help, but Balin pulled him back.

"You won't be about to help him," Balin said.

"What do you mean?" Fili asked.

"The anger in an Old Soul is strong and he is protecting the one they love," Balin said and it snapped all of them because they knew Bella being an Old Soul, Sherlock had been her Old One, the love of her life that came to her now.

"You cannot hurt me," Thorin said.

"You are right," Sherlock said. "I can do something else, I no longer give my permission to court Joan,"

Thorin looked at him and gasped, because suddenly he couldn't see him, it was as if he was blinded and he was just pushed before being left there. It was like it was cracking as he understood, what had just happened, inside Thorin's mind he could feel something trying to push free.

Thorin standing in the room made of gold and he broke free from the gold, he knew that it was wrong, and he had lost Bella, his nephews had refused to speak to him in loyalty of their Aunt, he did not hear Balin coming inside. The words that Sherlock had told him, seemed to have finally broken out of the hold of the gold. He had failed and fallen into the same traps as his Grandfather; he would have murdered his wife.

"My King," Balin said.

"I have lost my One," Thorin said taking the coat off and his crown.

"Bella will forgive you," Balin said.

"You do not understand, it is not just Belladonna," Thorin said. "Do you still have faith in me at all?"

"Always Lad," Balin said.

"We should get ready if something is coming if the Ravens are correct," Thorin said.

"I believe, I know how you can start," Balin said.

Bella woke up in someone's arms, she looked up to see Thranduil holding her.

"You're finally awake,"

"I fainted," she said.

"I'm not surprised," Thranduil said.

"Thorin?" Bella asked.

'He is locked in his Mountain,' Sherlock told her. Bard and Thranduil were looking at her, thinking that she would break, but they saw how she seemed to be pulling herself together and blocking her emotions.

"We should be getting for a war," Bella told them.

"You cannot be serious," Bard said.

"I'm incredibly serious," Bella said. "We must protect the children and the sick to make sure that they are protected, Orc takes no prisoners,"

"I admire you," Thranduil told her surprising many in the room.

'Forgive him, Garett has a weakness for strong woman,' Kate said to Bella.

'Joan was a Captain before,' Sherlock said.

"A woman after my own heart," Thranduil said.

"We should get moving," Bard said. They heard noise outside and looked up to see Gandalf coming in with someone Bella had never heard of before.

"Gandalf, I know we are to fight, but why is no one in the bloody field?" the voice was deep. Bella saw as the Dwarf came inside busting through with his armor and bright red hair.

"Lord Dain, everyone is beginning to move," Gandalf said.

"You brought a Dwarf to my tent," Thranduil snapped at Gandalf. Kate smacks him upside the head. Mina and Bard look at each other.

"You expect me to fight with this faithless sprite," Dain said. He turned to look at Bella and he was surprised.

"You have a Queen here, against her will," Dain said getting protective of the lass getting a good look at her.

"Thranduil is not holding me anywhere," Bella said standing up straight.

"I believe we have not met cousin, Lord Dain of the Iron Hills," Dain said bowing.

"Belladonna Baggins of the Shire," Bella bowing back respectfully.

"Queen Belladonna," Dain said, and Bella looked at Thranduil and Bard.

"Just call me Bella," Bella told him. "Plus, I am not a Queen, just a Hobbit,"

"You are wearing royal beads, I know my cousin's sigil," Dain told her.

"Well let's not pretend everything is alright, my husband has banished me for trying to break him of the Gold Sickness, do I regret it? No," Bella told him. Dain looked at her with surprise and knew something must have happened for the Queen to have done to get herself banished.

"Well, I understand sickness and it will not come from my lips," Dain said surprising her.

"Bella!" They both looked up and Bella was surprised as she saw the other people with him.

"Glorfindel," Thranduil growled and Bella smiled.

"Oh, quit it,' Tony said.

"You are alive," Hunter told her.

"I did promise my Father to be alive," Bella said. "What are you doing here?"

"Lord Elrond sent us," Glorfindel said.

"We have brought help," Hunter said. Thranduil raised an eyebrow.

"We need to find a safe space for the sick and the young," Bella told them. What caught them by surprise was the voice that raised itself.

"I think, I can be of assistance," Thorin said. Bella turned to look at Thorin who she could see from his eyes that it wasn't the crazed look anymore.

"Thorin," Bella said.

"Belladonna," Thorin said standing in-front of her. Everyone seemed to be looking at each other.

'Do this fast," Thranduil said moving outside with eh rest. They were left alone.

"This talk will have to be after, we have a war to get ready for," Bella said. Thorin nodded and touched her hand which she knew was a bit of a verbal acknowledgment of what had happened, but the talk they would have later if they survive would be different.

"Stay safe," Thorin said.

"You as well," Bella said.

The armies were getting ready, the sick and the young and old were taken into Erebor to be protected in the Mountain. Alfrid had tried to go inside but both Kate and Mina had pulled him out and sent him to Bard to get outfit it with a weapon. The good thing about Glorfindel being there was that he brought an armor for her, she put the mithril shirt under all of it. The first thing they felt was the ground shake.

"Were-worms," Gandalf said.
