I don't own any of this Ed, Edd N Eddy belongs to Danny Antonucci and IT belongs to Stephen King

Peach Creek, 2025

The town of Peach Creek had changed very much over the passed 27 years. One thing that is completely different is that the second cul-de-sac had been finished ten years ago, gaining new houses for a growing community. Another change over the years is that kids have mobile devices all the time in their hands with many watching them, instead of enjoying a nice summer day at least in Rolf's opinion. How he remembered the good old days playing around with his friends, it felt so long ago.

As far as Rolf knew, he is the only one of the classic gang of kids who stayed in Peach Creek. Many of his friends have left for newer and better lives. The reason why he stayed was because of his backyard farm, as well as a very important duty that he had promised to do so long ago. Now Rolf himself has grown very muscular over the years of farm work, he had also gotten very hairy on his arms, chest, back, and a thick beard on his chin. He is a man now, a very busy, happy man.

Today Rolf is impatiently waiting for his helper to arrive. While Rolf has no problem doing his farm work all by himself, he had to aquire help this year as there is a lot of work to do that he can't do alone. This was typical for this time of year as: the seeds needed to be planted, the animals needed to be attend to, the eggs needed to be collected, and work as to be done on the tractor which as grown a bit rusty over the years.

Despite the fact his helper is running late, Rolf is not going to waste the day on waiting, so he got to work on plowing the fields with his hoe. He had great plans on what he is going to plant in this field, which will be the sacred eggplants. "Watch Wilfred, as Rolf plows away." In his pen; Wilfred, (who had grown larger over the years), lifted his head out of the mud to watch Rolf swing his hoe into the dirt. The pig oinks a bit, then dunked his head back into his mud making bubbles from his snorts.

Rolf goes to do another swing of his hoe, until a ring of a bicycle bell interrupts him from his swing. Looking up expectantly, Rolf sees his helper Timmy park his bike right next to his fence. Timmy is very clearly nervous for he knew that he was late and he also knew that Rolf does not appreciate lateness, the eleven year old boy looked to Rolf with those nervous eyes before giving him a nervous wave. "Hi Rolf. Sorry that I'm late, my bike got a flat tire."

Placing his hoe down to his side, Rolf put on a very stern look as he crossed his muscular arms. "Nincompoop! This has been the third time this week that you have been late Timmy-boy!"

"I'm really sorry." Timmy apologized as he jumped over the fence. "I just been having some very bad luck recently."

"While Rolf sympathizes with your bad omen streak as of late. You are still going have to make up for this, which means a pay deduction."

"Aw man!" Timmy slumped for he really needed money to get that new video game that he's been eyeing for quite some time now. "Now go clean out Rolf's tractor. She really needs a good clean up."

"Yes Rolf." Going over to the shed, Timmy goes into it and collected a bucket and couple of sponges. With those items collected, Timmy next goes out and approached Rolf's house where he turned on the hose and filled the bucket up with water until it got nearly full. Turning the water off, Timmy lifted the now heavy bucket of water up to the tractor.

Setting the bucket down next to the large wheel, Timmy begins his work on the tractor by soaking a sponge with water, then proceeds to scrub in circles with delicacy as he needed to very gently when it comes to cleaning this vehicle as it is Rolf's pride and joy.

Much time passes during the cleaning of the tractor and Timmy is sweating a lot from the hot sun overhead, thankfully he had the bucket of water to cool him off. Scrubbing a headlight in circles, Timmy stepped back awaiting for Rolf's inspection. Rolf approaches the shiny tractor with his hands behind his back, he walk around his tractor with an eagle eye, looking for any dirt spot Timmy may have missed.

Timmy meanwhile stood there feeling very nervous for what if he did miss a spot? Oh, how he hated these inspections as they are always so suspenseful. At last Rolf turns to him and much to Timmy's relief, he had a smile on his face. "Good work Timmy-boy. Now go over to Rolf's vegetable patch and pull out the weeds." Rolf then left to collect some eggs from the chickens.

Heading back into the shed, Timmy puts the bucket and sponges back on where he found it, and then put on the gloves that are hung on the wall. Going over to the vegetable patch, Timmy began his work on pulling out the weeds, which is much harder work for the weeds are difficult to pull out, he's sweating, and worse the mosquitoes decided that it was time to chow down on him. Which interrupts Timmy from his work as he swats them away or kills them with a slap.

The sun is beginning to lower in the sky by the time Timmy pulled out the last weed and threw it in the pile he has made. Timmy is definitely sweaty by now as he could feel the dampness of his shirt and not to mention the oder that came from him. Satisfied that he is done with the weeding, Timmy looked over to Rolf who had just came out of his house. "All done Rolf."

Coming over, Rolf takes a good look at the patch and the pile of weeds next to Timmy's feet. "Well done." Rolf then takes a good sniff at Timmy and smiled. "Oh, oh! Smell that. That's the stench of hard work! You are now free to go Timmy-boy, but before you head out. Please take these weeds to the waste basket."

"Alright, and thank you Rolf." Grabbing the weeds, Timmy moves out of the backyard farm and up to the waste basket that's located at the side of Rolf's house. Once he was done with that, Timmy races to his bike and rode off down the street leading away from the cul-de-sac.

Seeing how there is a bunch of daylight left in the sky, Timmy decided that he should head on over to the playground to take a seat on a bench to catch up on his comic book reading. Pulling up to the gates, Timmy turns his bike into the playground and promptly parked it right next to the swing set. He just gets off it, when the sound of laughter catches his attention.

Looking up towards the slide. Timmy could see a figure standing there, holding a bunch of colorful balloons. From what Timmy could make out, the figure was a clown which is such a rare sight now a days as the great clown pranks of 2016 have pretty much killed the clown business. It also didn't help that Timmy had a small phobia of clowns.

The clown moved the balloons away from his face to reveal a kind smile. "Hi" he greeted before locking Timmy with a creepy stare that seemed to have frozen him on the spot.

The fear on Timmy steadily grew the longer he stared at the clown, he really wanted to run, but his fear has frozen him in place. The clown suddenly rushed at him with a animalistic roar escaping him or whatever it was supposed to be as Timmy saw a mouth full of sharp teeth coming at him.

Standing in the playground, close to sundown. Rolf felt a great emotion of guilt hit his body as he watched Timmy, (who looked all mangled up), being loaded into an ambulance, while being in a body bag with his grieving mother fallowing him, along with his shocked father.

Timmy's body had been found beneath the slide an hour ago. Some girl that had been in Timmy's class had wandered in here to swing, when she came across Timmy's bike, which had its front half covered in blood. The girl had, (as you guess it), been off put by the site of blood. She became even more unsettled when she noticed a blood trail leading away from the bike. It must've been curiosity that drove her to follow the bloody trail to where she had found Timmy's body.

Now standing here feeling a mix of emotions flow through him. Rolf couldn't believe that the last time he saw his helper alive, was when he left his house. He should've gone with him or perhaps give him another task to do, or didn't give him a pay deduction. If he had done that, then perhaps Timmy would still be alive at this moment.

Turning his head towards the small forest in the back of the park, Rolf spotted something behind one of the trees. Slowly going over to it, while the ambulance drove off behind him. Rolf looked behind the tree to see a red balloon tied to a branch, bobbing from the wind. Having a strange feeling in his stomach, Rolf turned to face a couple other trees and went stiff when he spotted a message in blood that is stained on their barks.

"Come on home!"

Feeling a sudden emotion of fear that Rolf hadn't felt in a long time, Rolf stood where he was, rereading the message over and over again.

Returning to his house some time ago, Rolf had spent a good two hours pacing around his kitchen. He got paranoid as night came and brought in the shadows with it, something could be hiding in them, watching him with evil eyes or is in his backyard watching him.

Eventually Rolf stopped by the sink to look out at the night sky above him. "Oh Nana. Please pray for the son of a Shepard for Rolf has feared that IT has returned. Rolf knows that I should've seen this coming as after all, it is the reason I stayed in this forsaken place, but part of Rolf had hopped that perhaps that we did defeat IT for good, so long ago."

Visible sweat comes down Rolf's forehead as he continues to look up to the night sky. Rolf then took a slow look towards the phone on his wall. "Yes, I suppose it's time to call up the others. Rolf just hopes that they all remembered their promise. Especially the no brain Ed-boy."

"And as I demonstrated right here. The new nanobots can certainly help with cleaning up our skies from pollution, as well as cleaning up our seas." Double Dee explained to his late college students who all listened in closely, especially the girls as they all thought that Double Dee was cute.

The bell soon rings to signal that the last class is now over and that everyone can return to their college dorms. Looking up from the chalkboard that had a very detailed description of his nanobots, Double Dee looked very surprised as it looked like he lost track of time again. "Oh my! The bell."

Turning back to his class, Double Dee went back over to his desk. "Alright turn in your homework from last night and we'll continue on from where we left off tomorrow."

His students all came up to his desk and handed him their homework, before leaving the door. After the last one left Double Dee immediately began work on looking over them, while ignoring the ones that had heart symbols or lipstick smudges. "Oh, those young girls and their crushes." Double Dee softly chuckled to himself for he remembers what it was like to have a crush on someone.

Double Dee had grown up to be the most respectful professor in McHenry County College, as well the most neatest. Double Dee is very polite and gentle when it comes to his students and he always shows his newest inventions to them, before shipping them off to the local lab. He still had on his signature black hat that he had worn since he was a child, and very much like his childhood he refused to take it off for anyone.

Continuing to grade the papers, Double Dee looked very closely for it seems that one of his students hasn't gotten all of the answers right. That was when his cellphone began to ring. "Oh my, I wonder who this can be?" Picking up the phone from his very organized desk, Double Dee happily answered. "Salutations. Who may I be speaking to at the moment?"

"Double Dee, Ed-boy?" A voice that Double Dee didn't recognize replied.

"I'm terribly sorry, but who am I speaking to?"

"It's Rolf, from Peach Creek."

A sudden flow of memories surged into Double Dee's head. The memories that came to him range from two other kids that he had always hung out with, three girls that always chased him and his friends, and finally more children that has lined up to a stand that he and his friends have made. "Rolf. Oh yes Rolf! How have you been? It's been so long."

"Yes. Very long. Listen Double Dee Ed-boy. IT'S back."

A sudden feeling of dread came to Double Dee, he felt so numb that he nearly slipped out of his chair. "Y-you sure?"

"Yes. You gotta return to Peach Creek. Remember the promise we all made." Without another word Rolf hung up on Double Dee who leaned back on his chair with a very pale face. This couldn't be! They have killed IT, didn't they?

If IT is back, then that means they didn't do a pretty good job of defeating that horrid beast. He needed to get back to Peach Creek as he had promised so long ago that no one should suffer on what he and the others have been put through.

The park in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; is getting ready for it's biggest event of the year. Which is the: Annual Fair Day. During this time of year, fair stands and some rides are being set up for the big day tomorrow. Near one of the stands is Eddy who had grown a beard and had grew a bit taller over the years.

Looking at his fingers that had on a golden ring that he had found in a gutter once, Eddy grinned for once this is all done, the swindling of people's money can begin. If there is a place that's great for scamming unsuspecting suckers it's right here at the fair. You get to set up rigged games and get all the money the suckers give you. This is just a perfect gig for Eddy and not to brag with himself, but he is the absolute master at this, he knows just what to say when it comes to attracting suckers.

"Yo Eddy. You ready to swindle some suckers tomorrow?" The guy in the stand across from him called out. "You bet I am Doug." Eddy snickered for he can already see the money that he's going to be getting from his classic ring toss game.

"Same here! And with my toss the ball into the fishbowl stick, I'm going to get lots of money."

"Wanna have a money fight after tomorrow night?" Eddy asked.

"You bet I do." Doug replied with a chuckle.

Eddy chuckled as well, though in the small part of his mind that he kept very locked up. Eddy knew that he could do so much better than this gig and have real friends that'll stick with him to the end. But like that was ever going to happen, he was just a slime ball, carnival con-artist that people look down on. He might as well embrace this and enjoy the one thing that he gets from this job.

The phone in his stand then rings, hopping over the counter and picking it up, Eddy figured that it must've been the big man himself. "What up?"

"Hello? No neck Ed-boy?"

"Who is this? If this is a prank call than get off the line you stupid kid!"

"No! It's Rolf from Peach Creek. Remember Eddy. Remember your friends, your swindling scams, the jawbreakers you ate."

Eddy thinks very hard and slowly did begin to remember his brilliant scams and his two childhood best friends that have hung out with him. "Oh yeah. So what's up stretch? You need a ticket for the fair?"

"No Ed-boy! IT'S come back."

Eddy nearly dropped the phone from that news. This couldn't be true. "You serious?"

"Yes. Remember your promise. You gotta come back to Peach Creek."

Eddy listened carefully to Rolf until he hung up the phone. Sitting himself against the prizes that are yet to be set up. All Eddy could do at the moment is look at the balloons on Doug's stand. Why did he have to make that stupid promise? He should just cut his losses and stay here as it's as far away from that town as he wanted it to be. That town doesn't owe him anything, so why should he risk his neck for it.

In that small part of his mind however. Eddy knew that he had to go for his two friends maybe coming and he would give anything to see them again. Eventually letting out a reluctant groan, Eddy decided to head on back to his home town. He just knew that the boss isn't going to be so happy with him for leaving before the opening night of the fair.

At a lone junkyard in Georgia.

Ed lived comfortably in his home, happily watching Fishbowl 2: a flick that he hasn't seen in a very long time. Ed's home looked a lot like his old room from his childhood home; it was messy and is filled with horror posters, models, and action figures.

Living in a junkyard may seem disgusting for some people, but it is very pleasant for someone like Ed who's orange hair is more shown and has a bit of a big belly. Besides living in the junkyard is also great, considering he works here by lifting up heavy piles of trash for he still has his unnatural super human strength.

Picking up some butter toast from his belly, Ed takes a bite and happily eats it as he watched the film. Just then the phone rings from underneath a pile of clothes, Ed however looks around in alarm. "My ears are ringing!"

The pile of clothes falls off the ringing phone, revealing it to Ed who after blinking a couple of times, happily picks it up. "Hello?"

"Finally picked up the phone I hear, no brain Ed-boy."

"Hello? Is this the son of Evil Tim?" Ed asked for he had recently read that Evil Tim's son calls people to strike them with the curse of Evil Tim in a comic two weeks ago.

"What? No you nincompoop! It's Rolf from Peach Creek."

Ed is silent.

"Do you remember Peach Creek?"

Ed is still silent.

"You know, I had chickens."

With that Ed instantly remembers Rolf, the cul-de-sac, and most importantly the chickens! And happily started to jump up and down. "Chickens! I love chickens!"

"Yes. Rolf knows that very well. Now listen closely Ed-boy, IT'S back. Remember the promise you made." Rolf spoke slowly in order for him to understand.

Hearing that the monster from his childhood is back once again, Ed puts on a very serious look, drops the phone, and raised his arm up like superman. "I am Ed! Cheese of macaroni!" With that Ed charges out of his house and into the night, leaving behind the receiver to lay on the its side on the floor. "Hello? Hello? Uh, I guess I'll see you then."

"So your going somewhere?" Nancy asked her best friend Nazz as she packed her bag with her makeup and other beauty supplies. Nancy still couldn't understand what had happened? One moment they returned to Nazz's house for their weekly game night, then the phone rang and after Nazz answered it, Nancy took notice of the look of recognition on her friend's face and then the look of terror swiftly replaced her previous emotion. After the call Nazz went straight to her room and began packing.

"That's right. You see I made a promise long ago, back when I was a kid." Nazz explained as she moved to her closet and pulled out her clothes.

"That must be some promise. I mean after all, your immediately packing up and going to-, where are you going exactly?"

"Peach Creek. It's a small town in North Carolina." Nazz answered as she stuffed her clothes into the bag.

"That's far. Considering we're in California. What are you going to do about your gym?" Nancy knew that the people who are part of the gym memberships program aren't going to be too happy on the unexpected closure of Nazz's gym.

"I'll have Janice look over the place for the time being. Believe me Nancy. I wouldn't be going in such short notice if it wasn't so urgent." With the last of her clothes packed up, Nazz zips up her bag and took it off her bed.

"What exactly is so urgent that you have to leave so suddenly?" Nancy asked for she was becoming a bit scared for she has never seen Nazz like this before. "Let's just say that there's trouble going on. Extreme trouble. I need to head back and stop it once again." Nazz replied before going passed her friend and headed out the door.

Nancy fallowed her all the way to the porch and watched Nazz place her bag in the backseat of her car, jump into the driver's side and drove off towards the airport. All Nancy could do at the moment is wave goodbye to her friend, until her car turned a corner and disappeared out of sight. "Oh Nazz. What have you gotten yourself into?" She thought to herself in worry for would she ever be able to see her friend again?

Deep in the forests of Maine. Johnny sat comfortable on his porch, listening blissfully to the chirping of the crickets. Johnny 2x4 had grown up with a full on moustache that connected nicely to his full beard, he has also grown a set of hair and has a bit of muscles from the yard work he does around his forest home. The one thing that's still the same is that he still had his trusted companion; Plank by his side. Now Plank is the same old hunk of wood with the drawn up eyes and smile on him.

The two spent their time here in the wilderness in their log cabin as they just loved to be around nature as it's quiet compared to the hustle and bustle from the nearby towns, plus most of Plank's family lives in these woods, so there's that very important matter. Anyway Johnny happily kicked his feet around as he looks up to the night sky. "Isn't this a nice evening Plank?"

Plank leaning against the door remained silent. "You said it buddy."

Life is sure is great for the duo. Okay sure they get lots of stares from people as a full grown man carrying a hunk of wood with a crayon drawn face is rather strange, but they don't mind as they are loaners to the core and all they needed is each other.

"What's that Plank? The phone is ringing?" Johnny listened closely and did indeed hear the sound of his telephone ringing. "Thanks buddy. I better go answer that." Johnny leaves Plank alone to look at the night sky, from inside the house mumbling could be heard, then after a few minutes Johnny who looked like he's seen a ghost came back out.

Picking up Plank, Johnny turned Plank to face him. "Plank. I got some horrible news for you buddy. Rolf called on the phone and according to him IT'S back. It's true Plank." Johnny listens to his buddy very closely for his output on this sudden horrifying news. "Your starting to remember the promise we made to huh? Yes, I'm scared to."

He listens to Plank closely. "Yes, we're going back. But just so you know Plank, it's going to be rather difficult getting there, considering we don't have any money at the moment." Johnny listens to Plank again and narrows his eyes suspiciously. "What do you mean that you have your ways?"

With everyone contacted for their return to Peach Creek. All of them have a very deep fear in their stomachs for this was something they have all forgotten about for the past twenty seven years, but now the trauma that they have all faced on that fateful summer is slowly beginning to resurface. They remembered the tragic death of Jimmy, but their terror truly did began once the last bell of the school bell rang.
