Mulan and Tiana put the conversation to a rest, focusing their attention on their forced job, unknowing that the ship of the Crescent Moon, disguised as the Jolly Roger is getting nearer with every hour.
Amelia inhaled deeply, looking at everybody on deck, "Everybody ready?".
"Now we just hope that he takes the bait and thinks we're Hook.", Jason said as he held to the siding tight. "Hang on, Mulan..." He looked back at Amelia. "Ready!".
Amelia nodded, and looked up at John at the wheel, "Head us in, Silver.", and John nodded, "Aye.", steering the ship with a hand, glad that his cyborg parts are illusioned to be human-like with his cyborg arm to look like a hook. Haku is a quick learner with illusions thanks to the Mind Stone.
Ariel and Delbert are tucked away in the captain's room with the dogs, with Eric guarding the door with a sword. Zuri is standing near the bow, with Triton. Logan is in the crow's nest, with the rest of the team, and the new members, on deck, with Jason at the siding, with Flounder's tank on atop of a barrel, hidden by the wall.
They are all illusioned to look like Hook's crew, and the ship is intact, all armed, but illusioned to look like it had taken a beating.
"So far so good...", Amelia said to herself. "Hopefully the Coachman just wants some answers at least...", John shook his head.
The mood was tense for the next few moments as the ship approached the dark shield before it dropped. A deep sigh of relief came over the group. "They're letting us in... fools.", Logan chuckled.
Zuri exhaled as she glanced at Triton, "Ready to do this, your majesty?", and Triton smiled somberly at her, "I've been ready a long time, and no need to be formal with me, Zuri...After all, you're my daughter-in-law...Call me Father or Dad if you want to.".
Zuri chuckled with a tiny smile, "I only have a mother and three older brothers..My own father died from a great sickness when I was little, never got to know him at all, but I'd be honored to call you Father.".
Triton smiled at her, "Good to know, daughter. And I am glad to know that Ariel is in safe hands with you and Eric around.", before taking a deep breath as the ship waddled into the lagoon. Ray, in his firefly form, flew out and went to the few monster goons on the dock, lighting up his butt, and killing off the shadowy monsters before they even got the chance to scream.
Zuri nodded, "That's our cue.", before shifting into her dragon form, diving into the water, and Triton dived after her, using his trident to shift himself back into his merman self, and upon seeing the duo, Jason grabbed Flounder's tank, hooked it up, and lowering it down over the siding to the surface of the water where Flounder jumped out and swam deeper, looking for tunnels when a roar, an extremely thunderous roar sounded out in the distance.
Logan called out, "Kraken in sight!", and Emma growled, "Must have sensed the trident in the water when Triton dived in. Team, dragon shift, now! Time to take Pleasure Island, attack!".
Jason shifted, leaving the ship, flying in his dragon form, going for the south part of the island, roaring as he sent poisonous spikes at all shadowy monsters in sight, sniffing around for Mulan's scent, horrified to see so many donkeys everywhere in paddocks, in cages, tied to posts, to carts, to anything that's haltering them...
He knew about Pleasure Island in the movie, but not to this magnitude...He growled, landing, and went to destroy everything that's tying the donkeys with his teeth, his tail, freeing them all, shifting back to human form, shouting Mulan's name, hoping that one of those donkeys is her.
The donkeys only shook their heads, happily reuniting with one another with brays, neighs, and all, and Jason grew scared and frustrated as he kept going, screaming her name when a donkey came to him, tugging his trousers.
He saw that it is a male, blinking, "You know Mulan?", and the donkey nodded, braying as he gestured with a hoof, going in a direction, and Jason followed him, hoping the donkey knows where Mulan is.
At the same time, whatever defenses the island had been completely buckling from the sheer force of the attacks. The only issue was that there was a lot more of the shadows than thought but the Talons were taking care of them fairly well.
Of course, in the water, Triton and Zuri were close together to each other as the Kraken began to swim right towards their direction. 'Nasty looking thing...' Zuri thought.
Triton narrowed his eyes as the Trident glowed orange-yellow, and replied to Zuri, "Distract him.", and Zuri thrilled, nodding, went to dive and swim, using her wings to rappel her forward to the Kraken's half submerged body, biting and firing water-fire blasts at the tentacles.
She could tell she was at least causing some havoc to the creature but certainly not enough for it to truly start worrying about her. Rather, it's focus was still on Triton as the Trident continued to glow. He just needed a bit longer before he could unleash a devastating blast that hopefully would either kill the creature or at least drive it away.
Zuri went even more fierce on the tentacles, using her claws to draw blood, and tear away some of the suction cups, blasting water-fire into the wounds, finally causing the Kraken to notice and stop, trying to search for Zuri, but Zuri is too fast with her long, serpentine body, biting and clawing.
Triton saw that the Kraken stopped, and smirked, taking a deep breath, and shouted, "Go to Tartarus, Kraken!", and unleashed the long-awaited blast at the monster, and the Kraken screeched so loudly, spasming and dying.
It tore right through its head that it only lasted a moment of its screams and spams before it slowly started to sink back to the sea floor. "Well, I bet every mariner will be happy about this day...", Triton said.
Zuri surfaced, smiling, and snorted with a gesture of her snout to the Trident, and Triton chuckled, "Thanks, Zuri. I needed that. Good to feel like I did something great.".
A shout called out, "Sire, sire, Triton, Triton!", and they turned around to see Flounder swimming through the surface, panting, "I found a tunnel, and I went through it. Sire, you should see this, it...Ariel told me long ago, but I don't believe what I saw.".
"What is it?", Triton asked as Flounder shook his head, "I really can't put it into words, it's something you have to see...".
Zuri shifted back to human form, and replied as she floated with her hands waddling, "Sounds really important.", and Triton nodded, and shifted her into a mermaid, "Just in case.".
Zuri smiled, "You're my new dad now. Ariel would be angry at me if you don't have someone to watch your back.", and Triton smiled, and glanced at Flounder, "Lead the way, Flounder.".
Flounder dived, and the duo dived, following him to the tunnel, swimming through the tunnel.
Zuri bit her lip in worry, with what Flounder had said. She had seen at least some of the horrors of Pleasure Island in the movie and all, but to see it firsthand and in the flesh was another thing entirely. She steeled herself for whatever awaited as the two of them kept up with Flounder.
They swam on, and they exited the tunnel, coming into a pool of water, a mix of salt and freshwater, and Flounder waved a fin, "This way.", swimming up to a crate of bars, "Oh, good, I wasn't dreaming. They're still there. Take a look.".
Zuri and Triton shared a look, and swam up to float up to Flounder's side, looking through the bars, and Zuri widened her eyes, seeing an older version of Ariel, but with an aqua green tail and green eyes, and she's holding a merboy that's looking like 16 or 17, having a look-alike of Triton's tail, with dark red hair and ocean blue eyes, cowering and watching the stalking Coachman above them on one of the walkways.
Zuri remembered Ariel's story and realized that this is the presumed to be dead Queen Athena. "God...", Zuri whispered to herself as she couldn't help but stare. And wondered what was now going through Triton's mind... of how his past just clearly just wouldn't stay dead.
Both of them were still in shock while the Coachman was trying to figure out just how things had turned so fast on him, "What are you idiots doing!? How did they get in!? Where is Hook now!?".
The few surviving shadow monsters shook their heads, "I don't know, sir! It happened so fast! They are destroying our brothers, and they freed all the donkeys on all of the island! Kraken's dead too!", and the Coachman snarled, "Where's Slim?!".
"Still in the tree, sire. He's trying to destroy the human potions. He said that if Pleasure Island goes down, at least winning on the aspect of destroying human potions, it's better than losing everything.", they replied.
Coachman growled, "Then it's time to escape. All of you, forget the creatures, and take the most valuable ones, the mermaid and the brat. Is that clear?!", pointing to the cowering pair of merpeople.
The few shadow monsters chorused, "Yes, sir!", and then dived into the water, and the merboy screamed, "Mom, I'm scared! I don't want to go!", and Athena swam backwards with him to the back of the wall, "Hold to me, Theodore! I am not letting go!", afraid and protecting her son at the same time.
"Flounder, no!", Zuri shouted as Flounder rushed into action; he was the only one that could fit through at the moment as he swam right towards the Coachman.
"What the f-?", He questioned as he saw the fish before it swam right up, jumped, and slapped him right in the face with his tail.
A roar then sounded out as Flounder splashed right back into the water, the Coachman sputtering, and then his eyes widened as a dragon landed on the walkway, revealing it to be Jason who growled and spun, swatting the Coachman with his tail, flying back and crashing into the audience stands, and before the Coachman would recover, poisonous spikes impaled him, right in the face and heart, instantly killing him.
The few shadow monsters screamed, feeling the bond between master and servant break into chains, and they vanished, becoming dust in the water as they were so close to grabbing Athena and Theodore.
Triton used the trident to destroy the bars/crate, making a hole, and swam through with Zuri following behind. Triton stared at Athena with so much longing as he offhandedly passed the trident into Zuri's hands, getting closer and closer, "Athena...".
"Tri... Triton...", Athena muttered before the two of them swam into each other's arms. "First, Ariel... now you...", Triton started to sob.
Athena sobbed, "I-I thought I was never to see you again! It was Hook, he captured me when I was thinking I was to be killed...He brought me here...Gods, s-so long since...Oh, T-Triton! I love you!", holding into his chest so tightly as Triton wrapped his arms around her, kissing her hair, taking into her scent, murmuring, "I thought you were gone...Oh, Athena...I can't believe you have been here all this time...No wonder why dark magic hid you...I love you, Athena...".
"Mother?", a timid voice spoke, and Triton blinked in surprise at the merboy, and Athena smiled, turning around to reassure her son, "It's okay, Theodore. Triton, this is your son...I wasn't alone as I thought...I gave birth to him here...Theodore, this is your father, King Triton.".
"I... I have a son...?", Triton looked at Theo. "He... We've both been through rough times all these years... I long had given up hope but kept going for Theo's sake.", Athena replied with a bittersweet smile.
Theo spoke, "Mom spoke so much about you...She told me about my lost baby brother, and my big sisters...I really tried so hard to protect Mom all those years for you, sire...", looking down with a rub of his hand on his arm.
Triton's smile was small, and grew, planting a hand on his son's shoulder, "Call me Father or Dad. I'm really sorry I missed all of it, but I'm here now...I love your mother, and I'm happy that I have another son to love.".
"What did you mean by Ariel before?", Athena asked. "It's a long story, but I'll tell you when we're away from this horrible place.", Triton looked back up to Jason who was quickly on the move again. He was going to tear the whole place apart until he found any sign of Mulan.
Jason looked around, frantically, sniffing for Mulan's scent, but the water, the aquarium, the sea creatures' smells are making it hard to find her specific scent, and then he heard a clank of metal repeatedly. He walked down a corridor from the audience stands and saw his new donkey friend kicking at a metal padlock. The donkey noticed the dragon, and brayed as he stopped, gesturing to the padlock.
Jason growled, and gestured for the donkey to walk back, and as the donkey did, Jason took a deep breath, and roared as he blasted the padlock with his fire, knowing that it's one of the hottest flames next to Pippa's fire.
The padlock melted instantly, and the donkey ran to the doors, opening them with his front hooves, and brayed, neighing as he listened. There came more brays from further down, and the donkey ran, and Jason followed him.
They came into a large room where donkeys are harnessed to a contraption, and one of the donkeys, a preggo one, is braying to the donkey who ran to her, nuzzling and burring. The other donkeys cowered nervously before the dragon, and Jason shifted back to human with an apologetic smile, "Sorry, guys, don't mean to scare ya.".
A loud neigh and bray sounded out, and Jason looked over to a row of donkeys, where a donkey is kicking and rearing, squirming out of the harness, but can't, looking straight at Jason.
Jason walked over to the one donkey that was trying desperately to get out of her harness before Jason freed her and she almost tackled him as she rubbed against him, her hooves wrapped around his leg as she was trying to hug him.
Jason gasped as he realized it, "M-Mulan?", and the donkey brayed, nodding, and Jason dropped down to his knees, hugging Mulan, "Oh, Mulan! I was so worried about you!", rubbing her neck and back when Mulan winced, nickering, and Jason looked at her back, gasping in horror to see a few fresh scars atop old scars...
"Oh, Mulan, I am so sorry...Can you forgive me?", Jason looked at Mulan with guilt and anxiety.
Mulan gently rubbed against him, obviously trying to say it was alright, that it wasn't his fault and that he was here now. He sighed as he quickly went to take care of the other donkeys as she stayed close to him.
With the donkeys freed, Jason led them out, and heard a roar in the distance, looking at the huge tree, and blinked as he recognized the roar, "Sounds like Haku.", and Mulan nudged him with a snort.
Jason sighed, "Just go straight to the tree, alright? I better check on Haku, maybe he needs help.", and Mulan nodded, and Jason rubbed her mane, and sprinted, shifting into dragon form, and flew up into the air, heading fast to the tree, seeing his other teammates heading to the tree from different directions.
He made it to the cavity under the branches, on the trunk of the tree, seeing Slim's body dead, with a lopsided bag of potion vials, with Haku in human form trying to stop Ray's injuries, but arguing with him. Jason saw numerous pools of dark magic in the tree, shifted to human form as the others made their way in, shifting into human form, realizing that this is actually the Pixie Hollow Tree from the Tinkerbell movies.
"Don't you dare to heal me, Haku! Evangeline is waiting for me...The tree is really sick...It needs a pure heart and the power of the stones...", Ray argued with a determined look. Haku looked frustrated, "But Ray, you can't! I don't want to...You can't...".
Emma asked, "What's going on?", and Haku looked up with tears, "He is being stubborn, he doesn't want to be healed!".
Ray touched his wrist, "It's okay, Haku...Listen to the tree...It needs all the stones and my heart to heal the island in a ritual, to change the dark magic back to pixie dust...I may be a romantic...but Evangeline...she really wants Pleasure Island to be reclaimed back to the fairies, to be Pixie Hollow Island again...", looking up at the Evening Star aka the Wishing Star aka Evangeline, with a smile...
"Slim got Ray, took him out though...", Haku told Jason. "Nearly fatal if I can't hurry but he won't let me.".
"Do you...? Do you think maybe you should let him have his wish?", Jason admitted as Haku looked at him. "Look, I know it goes against everything that makes you a doc and all, but...".
Haku's breath caught, and looked at Ray, who smiled at him, "Let go, Haku...Let me go in peace...", and sounds of hooves were heard coming up the stairs from inside the tree, revealing Mulan, along with the male donkey and the preggo donkey as they came up.
