Hello everyone. I know it's been awhile since I stopped writing since I have been having writers block and couldn't really come up with anything plus life got pretty busy so I didn't have time to write any chapters. I decided to pick back up on it now I have some time to get back in the groove of things. I know Drew has left WWE which is really sad but thankfully he's in the indies now including ICW (Insane Championship Wrestling) – His old stomping grounds and TNA Impact Wrestling being successful where he is so this is where I'm picking up after he just left and filling out some of the void where everybody is in in their lives even fiction wise where Bless and her family are at this point. Sadly, Wade has left WWE on his own terms and so has PJ (Justin Gabriel) which he went to go wrestle in the indies for a little bit then made his way to Lucha Underground. I HIGHLY recommend watching Lucha Underground if anyone hasn't seen it yet!
A few years later after Drew left WWE, Drew was now spending a lot of time with his beautiful wife Bless preparing their church wedding and helping her take care of the kids and still traveling on the road wrestling. Bless told him to always follow his dreams and never wanted to give up wrestling which was his passion. It was practically the only thing he knew. The young couple still lived in Tampa, in fact, they lived only about five minutes away from Stu (Wade Barrett). PJ was about ten minutes away from them so he was in town when he could. He was too busy with road life so when he came home, he always made sure to call Bless, Drew, or the guys to let them know he was okay or otherwise he would talk to them from his computer while traveling.
Bless was now a stay at home mom after leaving WWE and she still worked with them from home as a WWE photo editor and blogger. She never burned her bridges with them and was still in good terms with everyone on the road.
Heath meanwhile moved to Pineville, Georgia to be with his wife Stephanie and had two beautiful kids Snow and Remmedy after moving out of the apartment. The country bumpkin with his wife Stephanie along with his kids usually came up to visit Drew, Bless, and the kids during special holidays or when the Galloways weren't busy or when Drew wasn't on the road, they'd visit Heath and his family.
Stu (Wade) had just left WWE recently and was taking a break from the road and right now has a new girlfriend since things didn't work out with his road schedule and couldn't keep up with his work schedule so he and Vanessa had parted ways mutually. His new girlfriend whom he had fallen in love with was a beautiful girl named Rachel who was a tv host from Canada. They had been smitten with each other and soon things bloomed between them. She and Stu tried to find time together and he introduced Rachel to Bless once when they met up for lunch and Bless ended up liking her which was a nice thing since they got along well. She was sad Vanessa and Stu broke up due to the road schedule but it was nice he was able to find someone that would fit him and understood his schedule. Stu also came to see Catherine when his road schedule wasn't so busy and promised her he always loved her no matter what and she would always be his little girl. Rachel hadn't met Catherine yet so Stu still was seeing how things would be with his girlfriend before introducing the little girl to his new girlfriend.
Stephen (Sheamus) still lived close to Stu and Drew as well about ten minutes away so the three boys were still inseparable as ever even though they were busy doing their own thing with their families.
That evening Bless was snuggling in bed with their daughter Catherine who was battling a high fever while the other two babies were asleep. Drew was downstairs in the kitchen making some soup to see if it would break down Cat's fever. She hadn't been feeling good the last few days so Bless and Drew had been staying home to help take care of her. Bless was thankful her hubby was home helping her with the kids.
"Mommy, my tummy don't feel good." The toddler whimpered tiredly.
"I know sweetie. It's okay. Daddy's making you some hot soup that way it can make your tummy feel a little better." Bless told her daughter in a soothing voice while running her fingers through her daughter's dark hair.
Bless ran her fingers through Cat's hair as she snuggled her daughter closer to her. A few minutes later, the Scot came in with a tray of hot mushroom soup and Cat's sippy cup filled with orange juice.
"Hey bonnie lassie. I have something to help your aching tummy." Drew told Catherine carefully setting the tray in bed showing it to Cat.
"Sit up baby and eat." Bless told her daughter helping her sit up while she helped feed her.
Bless grabbed the spoon from the tray before dipping it in the bowl of soup. She scooped out some of the soup and blew the hot steam that way Cat could eat some of it.
"Is that good baby?" Bless asked her daughter who nodded.
Drew smiled while rubbing Catherine's back.
"Does it help your tummy, love?" Drew asked Cat if the soup was okay if she was able to stomach it well without feeling sick eating it.
"A little bit." Catherine told him. "Tummy okay." She confirmed as the warm soup helped her stomach feel a little better after she had been sick to her stomach awhile ago.
After eating some of the soup and sipping some soup, Bless helped Cat take a bath to see if it would bring down her fever a bit then had her brush her teeth before giving her medicine later. Drew meanwhile brought down the food to put in the fridge including with Cat's sippy cup that was still filled with juice.
When Drew finished putting things away, he saw Bless bringing Catherine back who was dolled up in her little pink robe hoodie. "Honey, can you grab Cat some pajamas while I set up here on the bed with her things?" Bless requested from Drew while getting things out from Cat's diaper bag to set up on the bed.
"Sure hun, no problem." He walked to the bedroom to see what Cat could wear.
A few minutes later, he returned with her pink butterfly night gown while Bless was putting powder and diaper rash cream on Cat before putting on her pull ups later.
"There we go little lady." Bless smiled putting on Cat's pull ups since she was now being potty trained and then put on her night gown Drew had put on the bed for Cat to wear.
"Mommy snuggle." Cat told her in a meek voice.
"Honey, why don't you snuggle with daddy first okay, mommy's going to go shower quick." Bless kissed Cat on the head before getting up from bed to take a shower before snuggling with her daughter later.
The little girl nodded. "Come here little ankle biter." Drew patted the side where he sat where the baby could lay as she snuggled close to her dad while sticking her thumb in her mouth while he ran his slender fingers through her curly hair.
When Bless finished showering, she smiled when she seen her hubby cradling a sleeping Catherine on his side while rubbing her back to feel better while he had the tv on low not to wake up the slumbering child next to him. Cat's breaths were soft and even and her daddy's warmth soothed her.
"Is she asleep?" Bless asked as she had Cat's children's Tylenol and cup in hand sitting it on the nightstand before giving it to Cat before she had fallen asleep.
Drew chuckled softly looking down at the sleeping angel before hearing his wife's voice looking up at her.
"Out like a like baby." He told her carefully shifting the baby against him that way she was curled against his side just like a little kitten and felt her forehead as he brushed her bangs. She felt a little warm to the touch due to her high grade fever and hope with the medicine Bless had, it would break it down later throughout the evening.
Bless smiled at their sleeping daughter hating to disturb her but she had to still take her medicine to see if it would break her fever.
The young mother carefully crawled onto the bed and woke her daughter up. "Honey." Bless cooed softly kissing her daughter's forehead. She heard her little girl whimper softly. "Mommy?" Catherine whispered in her sleep.
"Sweetie, can you wake up for mommy for a few minutes, I need you to take your medicine."
Catherine slowly opened her sleepy eyes to see her mom smiling at her before she rubbed her eyes tiredly.
"There's my sweet girl." Bless giggled looking down at her still sleepy baby girl.
"Up and at'em love. Medicine time." Drew told his daughter rubbing her arm softly. He knew too that Cat hated waking up when she was asleep but needed to be up in able to feel better within a few days.
Bless poured Cat some medicine in the cup while Drew helped lift it up to Cat's lips to drink it.
Drew chuckled seeing their daughter make the yucky face when she drank her medication. "Good girl." He smiled watching the little girl drink it all before Bless got the thermometer out for later to take Cat's temperature once the fever broke down.
Once the medicine was put on the night stand, Bless crawled into her side of the bed letting Cat snuggle close to her while Drew was snuggled behind Cat while stroking her hair. "Good night baby. I love you sweetheart."
"Night mama. Love you." Cat mumbled tiredly smiling a little at her mom as Bless planted a kiss on top of her head.
"Good night little ankle biter. I love you." Drew whispered to Cat kissing her on the cheek.
"Night night daddy. Love you too." Cat said in a small voice hearing him before she fell into a peaceful slumber.
Drew and Bless kissed each other good night before the couple eventually also fell asleep.
The next morning Bless was the first to be awake and looked at the clock which read 8:15AM. She then looked down in her arms when she felt Catherine snuggled further into her and her tiny arms was wrapped around her and she was cuddled like a little kitten and Drew had one arm wrapped around her letting her know he was still there. The young mom giggled softly at how cute Catherine was before feeling if her fever had broken down over night.
To her relief, she felt actually cool but a bit warm which wasn't bad so her fever was slowly breaking down. While Drew and Cat were still asleep, she went to go check on Alex to see if he was awake before grabbing the baby monitor to hear Isabella was still fast asleep in the nursery.
Getting out of bed slowly, she pulled up the blankets and placed it on Catherine and kissed her forehead before leaving the room. The young mother walked into Alex's room to see he was up sitting on the floor watching his favorite morning cartoons while holding his stuffed puppy dog "Charlie" in his arms.
"Good morning big boy." Bless greeted her and Drew's son who was awake. The little boy smiled hearing his mother's voice.
"Morning mommy. How's Ate (Big sister)?" He asked her knowing his big sister was sick so hopefully this morning she was okay.
"She's feeling a little bit better. She's still asleep right now with papa. What are you watching?" She asked what her son was watching.
"Gumby." He told her with a toothy smile. She giggled seeing his cute toothy smile which was the cutest thing ever which reminded her so much of Drew. Alex was his carbon copy that was for sure.
"You're so much like you're papa." She told the small toddler while ruffling his hair and kissing the top of his head while Alex was engrossed on his tv show he was watching.
"Are you hungry for anything sweetheart?" Bless asked Alex if he wanted something to eat.
"Cheerios?" He asked if they had any as he turned to his mother.
She nodded with a giggle. "I think we have some downstairs and I could get you your favorite grape juice with some breakfast."
"Can I watch tv downstairs too mama?" The little boy asked as his eyes lit up.
Bless nodded with a smile. "Sure you can sweetie."
The two then went downstairs. Alex stayed with his mom in the kitchen watching cartoons and having breakfast.
Meanwhile back upstairs, Catherine was just waking up with a small yawn and felt the one side of the bed was empty wondering where her mommy when felt an arm around her making her look at the other side to see her daddy was beside her still.
Trying to get out of bed, she felt her daddy shift awake on the other side just waking up to see his daughter was up and at it.
"Hey love. How are you feeling?" Drew asked in a still sleepy tone as he raised his hand up to feel Cat's forehead.
He smiled realizing she was feeling a little better than the night before. "I'm okay daddy." She told him with a small smile.
"Where's mummy?" He asked when he saw Bless wasn't in bed with them.
"Downstairs." Cat knew her mother was an early bird during mornings taking care of her baby brother and baby sister.
"Up." The little girl told her daddy who chuckled picking her up placing her on his hip. "Come on then little ankle biter. Let's go look for mum."
The daddy and daughter duo made it downstairs to see Bless was eating some toast and eggs and had some juice and meanwhile Alex was eating cereal while continuing to watch "Gumby" he was really engrossed in and was laughing happily at the characters on television.
"Good morning beautiful. Morning champ." Drew greeted his beautiful wife with a soft kiss and ruffled his son's hair.
"Hi daddy." Alex greeted his dad with a toothy smile.
Drew chuckled at his mini me that was engrossed on watching cartoons. "What are you watching over there little man?" The Scot asked his younger son as he chuckled.
"Gumby." The little boy told his dad what he was watching while eating his breakfast and being behaved. Alex was so much like him at that age as he remembered when he was a kid.
Drew wondered how his son was so into the clay characters but he was enjoying it any way as he shook his head and gave a smile ruffling Alex's hair. "Dad." Alex playfully whined trying to fix his hair. "I'm a big boy now."
"You're growing up on me too fast champ." Drew sighed with a smile to his son letting him watch his cartoon he was so fascinated with.
"Good morning babe. Good Morning beautiful girl. How's my baby this morning?" Bless greeted her hubby with a soft kiss then greeting their daughter planting a kiss on her head.
"I'm okay mommy." Catherine let her know she was okay though she felt still a little bit yucky.
Bless felt around her head and neck and surprisingly Cat was feeling a little better than expected which was a good sign. The medicine had done its work. The past few days Cat had been stuffy, coughing, sick to her stomach, and miserable and now she was getting better and eating normally. A few days ago, she had lost her appetite and wasn't herself. Likely she had caught a bug due to the weather changes that had been going on lately.
"Mama, I'm hungry." Catherine said when her stomach was growling.
"What do you want to eat princess?" Her mom asked her.
"Do you want oatmeal and hot cocoa with marshmallows, I know how much you like hot cocoa." Bless suggested for her daughter who nodded.
Drew made himself some breakfast and a protein shake while Bless decided to make her daughter breakfast too to see if it would help her feel better and a healthy breakfast usually cheered her up when she was sick.
After breakfast, Alex and Catherine were doing their own things. Catherine ended up coloring in her coloring books while Alex went to play with his legos which was his favorite thing to do. While they knew the toddlers were content doing their thing, Bless and Drew spent time with Isabella for the day and later let the two kids play with Isabella before their afternoon nap.
