"We should probably get you some new clothes," Willow said thoughtfully, as she scrutinized his current look. "I doubt you want to stay in this much longer, and-wait, did you sleep in that armor?"

Hunter looked down at his attire and shrugged. He didn't notice that, how did he not notice that? Just how out of it was he last night to fall asleep in his armor? It wasn't exactly comfortable, that was for sure. "I…forgot?" Now that he was aware of it though, he felt like it was burning him. He was done with this, he didn't want to see this armor ever again. At least his cloak was gone though, left at the Owl Lady's house…The cloak he worked so hard to earn just a little while ago…

Hunter could see Willow hiding a smile as he tugged off his armor, the golden plates falling to the ground with a clang. Now that it was off and he was left in a simple shirt and pants, he suddenly felt like it was easier to breathe. "I guess you're right, but uh…" All of his belongings were back at the castle…Including all of his savings. "I…don't have any money."

"I wasn't expecting you to, silly! Don't worry, I've got you covered. We'll get you a few basic clothing items and then worry about the rest…later."

Later. She probably meant when they figured out where he would be staying more permanently, which he wasn't sure of right now…It was just another thing to add to his very long list of 'things I don't know what to do about right now'.

"I-I don't know if it's a good idea for me to go out right now…Belos-"

"I've got that covered too! One sec…" Willow ran the stairs and came back a moment later carrying a long, dark green cloak. She held it out to him. "I know it's not much, but there's always dozens of people wearing cloaks, so no one will know it's you. It should hide your face well enough, at least."

Hunter took it and looked it over for a minute, before putting it on. He pulled the hood over his face. The hood was wide enough that it should obscure him well enough from any guards or bounty hunters that might be looking for him…Assuming that Belos put out a wanted poster for him, which he wasn't sure about. There was the very real possibility that Belos would want to keep this whole thing a secret. Afterall, Hunter never found out what happened to the previous Golden Guards, it wasn't as if their betrayal was publicly announced or anything. For all he knew, no one was after him right now, or a select few that Belos trusted were. Since he had no idea what to expect, it was best to prepare for any outcome.

"Thanks, this'll work," he said, giving her a quick nod.

"Are you ready to go then?" Willow said, beaming at him.

No, he wasn't. He really, really didn't want to see a wanted poster of him hanging up. He didn't want to be anywhere near that statue of Belos in the square. He didn't want to walk past any guards, and just generally didn't want to be reminded that he was…no longer a part of the Emperor's Coven. But Willow was right, he did need new clothes. He couldn't wear the same thing forever. "I-uh…I guess," Hunter said, a slight frown on his face.

Willow must have seen how nervous he looked, because her smile dropped a bit, before looking at him seriously for a second, and then giving him a reassuring smile. "Hey, it'll be okay! We can leave anytime you need to, and we don't even have to stay at the market for very long."

That still didn't make him feel much better. He was feeling so paranoid right now, and along with everything that happened last night, he still wasn't feeling too great right now. The only reason he was even somewhat up to doing this with Willow was because he was trying to distract himself from his thoughts. He didn't want to think about last night, not even a little, even though he knew that was impossible. But he could try to ignore it, couldn't he?

Ignoring it didn't take away that heavy pit in his stomach, though.

"Hunter…you really don't need to do this if you don't want to. I don't want you to feel like you're taking a huge risk by going out."

Hunter took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly, before shaking his head. "I don't like the idea of staying cooped up until who-knows-when. I don't want anyone to see me, obviously, but…We'll be quick, right? It'll be fine." He felt like his mind was all over the place right now, not sure what he wanted to do. Going out right now could prove to be an opportunity to see what his situation would be like outside of the castle-see if he was actively being searched for by guards or if the general public knew he was an enemy of Belos now or whatnot.

Willow stared at him for a moment (why was she looking at him like that-was that pity on her face?), then her eyes lit up. "Oh hey!...I could ask the others to come along if you want!" she offered. "Gus, Skara, Viney, those guys! It's the weekend, so I'm sure at least some of them will be free." She hesitated for a moment, as if she was unsure about this. "I just thought they could help distract you a little…And there's safety in numbers, you know? We don't have to tell them what happened or anything, and I'll make sure they don't ask any questions, but…" She looked up at him, a hopeful gleam in her eyes.

Hunter thought about it for a moment. He felt bad for ignoring them all for a week, and didn't want them poking around his business too much, but…well, if Willow said she could keep them under control, then maybe…Maybe a little distraction in the form of the company of his teammates would be nice?

"Yeah. Yeah, let's invite them," Hunter finally said. Oh Titan, please let this go well! He did not need any more stress right now. "But don't tell them about last night. Please."

Willow grinned. "Don't worry, they won't know anything you don't want them to!" Then she took out her scroll, immediately texting away to ask the others if they wanted to come with. Hunter peered over her shoulder as she tapped away at the keyboard.
