Chapter 15

→ Re-Limetane Eight Fingers storage building / blue roses and Litzelot ←

Blue roses had prepared their move for this night. They would attack the storage building from all four sides. Litzelot would go through the front, Gagaran with Lakyus would move through the back. Evileye would look from above to block anyone from leaving via the roos. Tia and Tina would cover the sides so that no grunt could leave the building.

With this plan they set out shortly before curfew, with all their belongings, since they would also leave the city that night. The morale amongst them was quite high. They went to their positions and prepared to the sun had truly set all adventurers moved to their goal and readied themselves. The grunts have no clue of the impending chaos.

Evileye casted "Fly" to be able to observe the roof. Tia and Tina took positions in trees to the side of the building. They prayed that the other groups would do quick, safe and good work with the criminals inside.

Gagaran and Lakyus reached the back of the building after a longer trip and prepared. Gagaran would be the one breaking a hole into the back door. Lakyus would then take over and cover Gagaran till she could strike again. They would then proceed through the building, while Litzelot would make the distraktion within the entrance of the building.

Litzelot himself was waiting till a prearranged signal, a blue flame from Evileye, so that he knew everyone was in position. He would then start an attack from the enemy's front. Blue roses and he thought that the higher ups here would then send the grunts to die and try to flee the building. That's why he would simply cut his way until there were none left that attacked. Just when he thought about his luck in this new world, he saw the signal and closed in and took out a kiteshield and bastardsword.

It took Litzelot no time until he was in front of the door and he could start. He took a deep and useless breath and started.

"Te Secabo" was heard and the once normal door was flying in many little shards. This was quite a surprise, as many shocked faces looked at Litzelot. But surprise turned into anger fast. They drew their weapons and charged at Litzelot, who simply cut them down with ease.

Meanwhile Gagaran and Lakyus waited until they could hear commotion and then broke in the back door. Afterwards they proceeded to clear the building.

Back at Litzelot, he was occupied with the grunts. The weaker ones are already lying on the ground while the stronger or more clever ones are held back in the beginning. Litzelot was now charged by some grunt that used a dane ax. He swung downwards, while Litzelot casted "Ad Profundis" and threw him over his shoulder. Afterwards Litzelot simply used the hilt of his blade to finish this quickly. Just when Litzelot retrieved the blade another one charged him with his blade drawn.

"Tace Cor Tuum" was heard and the new assailant fell to the ground, with a deep cut in his chest. Now some grunts tried to flee through windows and the back, since they didn't see their chances high to win this massacre. Only a few brave or foolish men remained. They immediately attacked.

"Bulwark" was used and blocked the attacks of two attackers while the third held back. Once Litzelot opened to attack one of his enemies, he was hit with a club on the head, which immediately flew through the room. All three had taken cover behind a railing, while Litzelots head flew right out of the building.

"Shouldn't he have died? You certainly hit the head of this guy right?" one grunt spoke.

"I think it doesn't need its head" the one with the club answered, looking over the railing.

"Why?" the third amongst them asked.

"Look," said the club user.

They looked over the railing and started to fear. Where Litzelot would have a neck, they only saw a tall purple flame. There was also a bicorn, carrying the head in its hair, with its teeth.

"Thanks my steed. You did excellent, now give me my head please." The grunts heard, as Litzelot took its head and began to place it back.

"What are you?" The three shouted.

"I am a Dullahan". Litzelot stated

"Tace Cor Tuum" Litzelot used and all three fell to the ground.

"I should be more careful. Why did I hold back? I should think more. Luckily it fell so that I could see my body" shot through Litzelots head.

While Litzelot cleared his area, and had let his head fly, Lakyus and Gagaran moved organized and efficiently through the building. They were able to secure a lot of documents, which were quite actual this time, thanks to nearly no blunders. Evileye, Tia and Tina had not much to do, but were able to catch the escapees.

Once Lakyus and Gagaran secured the documents they met with the rest in front of the building. The rest had a few prisoners and were waiting for Lakyus and Gagaran.

"Litzelot, you spoke about the "Inventory". Would it be possible to keep the documents there?" Lakyus asked.

"It should be. Where are the documents" Litzelot asked.

"They are upstairs. We stored them in three greater crates, so that they would be easier to handle" Lakyus answered.

"Understood," Litzelot said, moving inside to store the documents, while blue roses tied up the prisoners.

Once everything was finished the group burned the building and started their trip towards Re-Estice.

→ Near Re-Limetane / Group of Four Great Spirits ←

The group had seen the flames and were able to guess the route, which their enemy had taken. This enabled them to prepare an ambush, which would make Spirit's plan easier.

After quite some time they were able to hear their foe in the woods and then attacked. ZEsshi had orders to focus on the Dullahan, while the rest would fight blue roses.

Zesshi was quite happy to fight the Dullahan and was unable to stop her enthusiasm. Astrologer on the other side was sad about the group dynamics. Both knew that their time with the Slane Theocracy was running low.

The eleventh seat, a woman with blue hair, who was braided, riding a diamond and wearing loose clothing and a big hat, which covered parts of her face, went by the epithet of "Infinite Magic". She had thoughts about Spirit's plan. She knew how strong Zesshi was. She also knew that Zesshi was stronger than anyone in the scripture, she had been pommelt by Zesshi. It didn't help that Zesshi didn't have much to hold her in Slane, since her treatment was not as good as the other god-kin.

Sadly her thoughts were cut short, as the signal to attack came.

The group had traveled a small bit when Litzelot felt the eyes set on them. It didn't take long afterwards, when a group attacked them. Luckily blue roses and Litzelot still had their gear on them and were able to jump back, just before one of the ambushers was able to hit them with a scythe.

"Good evasion Dullahan. We should let them battle out their spat while we fight amongst ourself." A girl with white and black hair, eyes and clothes said.

"I need to be careful around her." Litzelot realized. He was able to feel that she was experienced, able and had gear of good quality, at least compared to the new world.

"I don't even know your name and since you're clearly the strongest amongst your kin, I would like to know it." Litzelot said while most of the black scripture looked angry at Litzelot.

"My name is Zesshi Zetsumei. What is yours?" Zesshi asked.

"I call myself Litzelot. Should we start here? Will you attack me or should I attack you? Or do we attack each other?" Litzelot spoke

"We can start here" Zesshi stated and prepared herself, as did Litzelot get into his position.

While Zesshi and Zetsumei spoke the fight broke out amongst blue roses and the rest of their enemies. It was obvious for blue roses that the battle would be hard, therefore they signaled for Litzelot to be fast.

Litzelot saw the signal and then started his fight. Zesshi had used some buffs, sadly Litzelot didn't hear which one, and charged at Litzelot. Zesshis warscythe was blocked by Litzelots kiteshield, but Litzelot was unable to retaliate with his sword. Zesshi and Litzelot fought and it looked more like a dance, since none of them were able to hit their opponent.

Zesshi wanted to end the fight as quickly as possible while Litzelot had to stall, since he now had realized his sword's short reach.

The fight between the rest of the scripture and blue roses went strange, at least for Evileye and Lakyus. Evileyye was in a duel with a blue haired girl and a girl in, unknown to Evileye, school uniform. Astrologer tried to stay alive while Infinite Magic battled it out with the magic caster of blue roses.

"Foggy Presence" was heard and a thick fog settled on the battlefield. Most of the scripture used this thick for to retreat and leave Astrologer and Zesshi to their fate.

Sadly they were unable to find Infinite Magic and therefore tell her of the retreat.

Zesshi and Litzelot were still fighting and trading unsuccessful blows.

"Etiam" Litzelot used and Zesshi was thrown towards Litzelots

"Effugisse Debes" was then used and Litzelot hammered the pommel of his sword on Zesshis forehead. Luckily for Zesshi she was able to jump backwards.

"Te Affligam" was used by Litzelot and he rammed into Zesshi. He grasped her head and then casted "Hoofed Nightmare", which made her fall to the ground. She was now unable to do anything except being in her thoughts.

Litzelot then ran towards blue roses and was stunned when he only saw two left. Sadly the battle had still been hard on blue roses. While they had managed to lightly wound some of the enemies, blue roses had lost Gagaran in battle. They would need to revive her and she would be out of commision for a while. The prisoners also either escaped or were killed in the crossfire

Litzelot saw the battle between Evileye and her two opponents and decided to stand out and regroup with the rest of the team. He then casted "Raise Dead" and Gagaran was back alive, sadly she needed help to even stand, which would slow them down.

After some time "Foggy Presence" wore off and Astrologer and Infinite Magic saw that they were left behind. Worse was that Zesshi was seemingly beaten and was lying on the ground.

"We don't have a chance. If Certain Death is knocked out, then the Dullahan is alive and even stronger than her." Astrologer whispered into Inites ear. She nodded.

"Timeout!" yelled Infinite. This stunned all of blue roses.

"What and why?" Evileye shouted.

"We ask for a ceasefire, we were just following orders. We don't have anything against you." Astrologer shouted. She and Infinite MAgic were easily able to see that they would not be able to fight them alone. They were also unable to flee, since they were by far slower than Zesshi.

"Why should we trust you enough to not kill you?" Lakyus asked.

"I have an idea. Let them hand over their staff and be bound. I will bind my opponent and we will see further." Litzelot stated.

"Sounds good to us" shouted Astrologer, while Infinite MAgic nodded as fast as she could.

Blue roses therefore were occupied with Infinite Magic while Litzelot bound Zesshi.

Zesshi during her fight with Litzelot decided that he was her candidate. She had decided that he was strong enough to be her man and that she would get him to father her children. Luckily for everyone else, they didn't know of her thoughts.

After some time they had bound the three new prisoners and moved back. They had made camp and waited. They found out about the plot from Spirits and that the rest of the group would come back to either finish their mission or to finish Astrologer and Zesshi.

Spirits was angry. While his plan did go well, it didn't go down without a blunder. They had lost Infinite Magic and therefore their strongest caster when they retreated. This would be hard to explain. It didn't help that the Dullahan was seemingly stronger than Certain Death.

That meant that they had lost two sacrifices and a pawn, without accomplishing their mission. They were now down to five. Their captain would be angry and they would still have to fight the undead. Spirits head turned and turned in circles and came to no conclusion. After some time the group decided to fall back and later regroup with Captain and the rest.

The group decided to use Litzelots "Headless Horsemen" to scout their way while the group would advance towards Re-Estice. The group would also have Gagaran carried by a horse while the prisoners were bound and placed on horses as well. But for now they would wait and let blue roses, especially Gagaran, rest.

Evileye and Litzelot sat at the campfire and played a card game. They had placed the campfire near the prisoners, so that they could have them in view. They discussed how the battle went and after some time they continued to talk about other things, like Litzelots past.

Litzelot was talking about how he met an undead,

"I was traveling with him for some time for the quest. Sadly he was more stern than others. I was certain we would get into each other's ears sooner rather than later" Litzelot said while Evileye nodded and munched on some snacks.

"Well we did end the quest. Sadly he and I wanted the same item. We already hated each other's guts by that point. So we argued. Arguments became attacks and we fought. After some time I had barely defeated him. He never forgave me and even joined a guild called "Humans Blade". That they even took him into their guild was simply because they both hated my guts. I had plenty of fun pranking them. They tried to kill me multiple times, but Surshana, that was his name, always made some small bluders." Litzelot finished. Evileye had also finished her snacks, whie the prisoners had different reactions.

Zesshi was happy to have found out that the one beating her was a player. This would even increase her self esteem.

Astrologer and Infinite Magic had a small heart attack. It was not unknown that there were players, especially for a group mostly being made of god-kin, which were the offspring of players and were able to go closer to the players potential in comparison to others, and heroes. This made them rethink their thoughts about the battle and both came to the conclusion to simply not antagonize them further.

The next morning the group began their trip back to Re-Estice, which went without any more battles. The remnants of Spirits group had retreated near E-Rantel. They would move for around two week, since they had to be careful.

AN: I know that some of this might seem a little cliche. I also think that there will be some backlash for the black scripture, once the scripture comes back to Slane. I am also thinking of a way to get Litzelot some information about the happy farm of a certain demon. I am also thinking about the schemes of a certain succubus to get Litzelot out of the picture, so that the insult to Nazarick doesn't continues to exist.
