Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one about Fairy Tale. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own any rights to Fairy Tale, Hiro Mashima, Kodansha and a few others that I may write about.

The figure continued down the path and hummed while looking over his shoulder. He sighed and pulled the pitch-black hood over his head, hiding the inhuman ears which slightly poked out from under it.

"Need to keep going." The figure said while his eyes glowed an inhuman green. "Need to keep moving forward more…" The figure hissed as he growled in pain.

He knew for a fact that whoever had targeted him would have killed him if he couldn't heal it off. Still? Even his abilities had limits and he knew for a fact that they would be back.

"Abandoned… And betrayed." The figure stated to himself while growling with annoyance. He clenched his clawed hands and continued to walk down the road.

On his back hung a pair of green blades which seemed to be made from jade or another type of stone. It made him wonder if they wanted to steal the swords from him and his awakening had thrown off their plan.

"Still need to keep going or bleed to death if they come back." The figure muttered and ran a hair through jet black hair barely hidden under his hood.

His jacket held many animal motifs, ranging from chimeras to dragons. The figure always liked to consider himself a nature fanatic. These motifs glowed with the same unnatural energy that was present in his eyes and blades. His shoes were a dark green, with dragons racing up and down goldish black pants.

"Then again? Could have killed them in self-defense… No reason not to… No, made promise to her." The figure said while gritting his pointed teeth.

He knew he looked monstrous under the cloak. There were few people who he could claim were friends. Still? He didn't want to fault them for it. Not everyone brought it to mind that he was a monster.

The figure sighed as it continued to keep raining which made him annoyed before he hummed.

"Why does it always rain?" The figure asked himself before blinking with amusement. "Always rains when something bad happens to myself." The figure put in as he opened his mouth.

A small plume of smoke came from his mouth and nostrils. He knew for a fact that his breath would and could burn anything that it touched to ash.

"I cannot believe what would happen next when she left." The figure muttered to himself and hummed.

He blinked and looked to the side. The figure noticed several damaged trees which mattered. He wondered with interest as he thought something monstrous would rip through the trees.

"Still?" The figure muttered to himself. "I wondered what could have caused so much damage… Besides myself." The figure stated aloud which wondered what happened.

The figure blinked and rubbed off his arms before he continued down the path. He wanted to find shelter before something found him. He was hurt and that made him much more vulnerable then he should have been.

"Ow…." He muttered to himself as he looked around once more. The rain was making him wondering what would happen next.

It did bring back a memory from a better time when he had met a certain friend. Someone who saw past the monstrous exterior and knew for a fact that there was good under all the scales and skin.

"I shouldn't exactly hope that she's here…" He muttered to himself and continued down the path.

He blinked for a second and then sniffed at the air. There was a very familiar smell that made him curious enough to alter his path towards said sent.

He brushed off his jacket and uncrossed his arms. Even if he didn't look that human? He wasn't a freak, nor was he willing to rip through people to get what he wanted. He was a warrior, not a heartless brute devoid of intelligence.

He wondered what would become of him down the road. He was not really used to being among humans.

"Can't hurt to try at the very least." The figure muttered to himself and cracked his fingers and hummed.

He didn't know he'd be meeting his former friend down the road.

If he did? He'd be more ecstatic.
