The figure opened the door while blinking in amusement as he blinked and hummed. He sniffed the air behind the cloak.

"Is she here?" The figure questioned himself before someone knocked into him.

"Watch where you're going!" The man stated before the figure growled and turned to him.

"How about you stop acting like a jackass?" The figure hissed before blinking.

"What the hell did you call me?!" The bearded man roared, throwing spit onto the figure's cloak. "I'll kill you!" The man roared before the figure blinked.

He blocked a punch before rearing his fist back. The other man's fist cracked before he hissed in pain.

"Don't start something that you can't finish." The figure stated and reared back his clawed hand. "I'm sorry about this." The figure added before something cut him off.

A pair of slender hands wrapped around his hulking one. He blinked and looked behind him.

"Please don't make me hurt you here." The voice said which made the figure blink.

"Mi…" The figure said with his eyes wide. "Janey?" He questioned before he blinked. He looked over his shoulder and saw snow white hair and ocean blue eyes.

"Janey?" The snow hair woman questioned as she faintly recalled the nickname. It was something that she heard once. "Chente?!" The woman asked before the figure blinked.

He turned and looked down at the dainty woman before using his other hand to pull back his hood. The man decided to shuffle away, Chente didn't even notice for a second.

The woman tilted her head as she looked at the blackish green scales which surrounded the being. His pitch-black hair contrasted with her snow-white hair. She looked at his hands which were covered with scales towards the ends. She watched his fangs retract into his mouth as he blinked.

He looked like part reptile and part human. Still? That didn't matter at all to the duo.

"IT IS YOU!" The duo yelled before they wrapped their arms around each other. Chente grinned and looked at the girl.

"I thought I caught your scent!" Chente stated which made the girl roll her eyes.

"What are you doing so far out?" The girl questioned as Chente hummed.

"It… Is complicated." Chente stated before looking at the girl once again. "Why… Are you here?" Chente questioned and cocked his head to the side.

"Oh, I run the bar here." Mirajane put in as Chente nodded and turned to look around the bar. "Why were you playing to drink?" Mirajane asked only to get a shake of the head.

"I don't drink…" Chente put in and crossed his arms. "You know that. Still? Good to see you. Been a while." Chente added to which he got a nod from Mirajane.

Mirajane looked at her friend, knowing for a fact that despite his hulking size and demonic visage? Chente was very harmless, he was a warrior, but he only was an enemy to those who would do the innocent harm.

"Can you sit?" Mirajane asked Chente who slightly inclined his head at her. "Stay? Talk a bit?" Mirajane questioned Chente who nodded.

"I stay… As long as needed." Chente stated to Mirajane as he walked around the bar. He looked for a seat for the duo to sit and talk at.

Chente wondered if the people who were still trying to kill him were coming back. He'd kill them if he had to… But he didn't want to, not around friends.

Chente followed her friend as he pulled out a chair as gently as he could. The wood creaked as he sat down on it. He turned to look at the demon girl while folding his hands on his hips.

Mirajane walked across the room and pulled at another chair. Chente reminded her of her younger brother. He blinked and looked at her, awkwardly wringing his hands as he wondered what to say at the moment.

Mirajane took the seat across from him and smiled gingerly. Chente hummed and looked at the woman before he blinked and hummed for a second.

"I haven't seen you since the battle of Xore." Mirajane said which made Chente nod and hum. "Your so tall now!" Mirajane stated to her friend.

"And you are tiny." Chente stated with a small smile. "Just like before. You killed a lot of the soldiers yourself." Chente added to Mirajane who nodded.

Chente remembered back then that Mirajane was much stronger then him. He doubted the were equal even today, she could still manhandle him even despite how he was much bigger than her.

Mirajane noticed something. Black liquid came from his ribs which was covered with a budging purple shirt. Chente didn't seem to notice anything… Although she knew he could heal which meant he had to be hurt majorly to feel pain.
