"And here we have the academy section." Wales continues as the tour goes on. There they are by a large building that Wales gestured at. They have explored the other areas, such as the beach, the dorms, the canteen, and many more at the island base.
Xavier sees this place looks peaceful, there are pink blossom trees, and a fountain in the middle of this somewhat town. "So, a school?" He asked.
"Yes. I will remind you some of the girls are children such as Javelin and Laffey." John replied.
"Right," Xavier nodded. "So, where are the rest?" He wondered.
"They are at the dorms." Wales answered, "But now, Doctor Levi will guide you to the office here."
"Indeed." John replied, "While Wales and Cleveland announce you, we need to bring the others. The other factions are at another island base." He said.
"So, this concludes the tour." Xavier assumes.
"Yes." Wales replied, "Once the other factions arrive, we need you to announce as well as perform duties as a Commander." She explains.
Cleveland smiles, "Well, we'll see you at the announcement, you seemed a cool Commander." She said.
Illustrious nodded, "Agreed, I hope we shall work together well." She warmly beams.
"Yeah... Thank you all..." Xavier replied nervously, "I won't disappoint you." He assured.
Wales nodded with a smile as the three girls left, heading to the dorms. Thus the Commander and Doctor are the only ones here.
"Come on, let's go to your office." John ordered as he heads off with Xavier following him.
"Come on Laffey, let's find U-chan." Javelin attempts to encourage Laffey. As they are in the docks where it was assumed the doll was left behind.
"Mmmm... Laffey tired, need rest." Laffey mutters as Javelin turns to see Laffey lying on the ground face planted.
"Laffey!" Javelin panicked as she attempts to carry the bunny girl.
Unicorn is searching for U-chan, then she notices a familiar doll... "U-chan!" She exclaimed as she sees the unicorn doll. The doll notices but then gestures its head, and runs into the forest.
Javelin notices and saw the doll coming to the mountains, "Where is it going?" She wonders why the doll is going to the hills.
Meanwhile, inside the headquarters, John and Xavier are in the hallway, walking on the red carpet. Then they arrived at the door, "Right, this is the office." John said as he opens the door, and Xavier looks inside the room he is in.
It was a large room, with a brown wooden floor, amongst those are red carpets layered down. There is a large luxury wooden desk along with a chair, lamps, pens, and maps with cartography tools. Xavier looks around to see the large windows with bright red curtains, then the bookshelves at the side, and another door.
"That one leads to your bedroom and bathroom." John pointed out the door, "The previous Commander didn't bother to go to the private house that much." He said.
"Which you live there?" Xavier asked.
"Yeah." John simply answered. He then sees Xavier do a little tampering with the papers on the desk and stares at the bookshelves. "Something wrong?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah..." Xavier replied, "I have never been a fan of papers and books... Do you have something computer-like?" He requested.
John looks at him, "Well, you are a hacker, and I assume you're going to need computers to do the paperwork..." He said.
"Oh, any device is fine." This perked up the Doctor hearing Xavier's words.
"Any device?" John asked.
"Yes." Xavier simply responded. "I can take it apart and make something new out of it." He explained.
John thinks about it, "Well... That sounds tame." He admits. "Alright then," He walks to the desk and pulls out the shelf from the desk, which is a large folder. "Here are the profiles of every ship of the Azur Lane." He explained what it is, and then he grabs the lamp on the desk and shifts it forward which lets out a click...
Thus revealing a pistol underneath the desk. Xavier nearly flinched when seeing a firearm appear. John sees Xavier's terrified look, "You are afraid of guns?" He asked.
"I'm more of a less trained gun user..." Xavier replied. "And, yes." He quickly admits to John's question.
"Well, you still have a lot to learn." John replied, and takes out a book from the desk shelf, "Read this, it'll be your schedule duties as a Commander, I'll be back with the equipment you wanted, after that you need to prepare for the announcement." He walks out of the office, opening the doors and closing them, leaving Xavier all by himself.
Xavier is in the office as the day is silent, with slight wind breezes being the source of the sound. He opens the folder to see sections of factions he has heard about.
There are nine nations: Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Sakura Empire, Iron Blood, Dragon Empery, Northern Parliament, Iris Libre, Vichya Dominion, and Sardegna Empire. Then he flips through the pages on each nation section and sees a bunch of ships, the first ones he meets.
"Illustrious, Unicorn, Prince Of Wales, Javelin... The Royal Navy..." Xavier muttered in his thoughts. Then he goes to the next page quickly, luckily they are listed in alphabetical order by their first letter. "Cleveland and Laffey... Eagle Union..." He added, seeing their profiles as well.
He continues, now reading through more of the girls he has never seen or met before, as time goes by...
A few minutes have passed as Ayanami remains on the hills, still watching on the base. Minutes ago, she saw the Commander and the Doctor enter the large building where she assumes they are in the office.
This corrects her assumption as she sees the Doctor leaving the building. She continues to watch as the Doctor is heading towards where Wales, Illustrious, and Cleveland are standing by right at their large dorms.
She then sees six other women outside of the dorm that is with them. She recognises all of them; Queen Elizabeth, Warspite, Richelieu, Sovetskaya Rossiya, Yat Sen, and Hornet.
Suddenly, she hears sounds from the grass. She immediately turned around only to see nothing. Then more sounds occur and she looks down. Just then she saw a white unicorn doll running toward her.
"This doll..." Ayanami muttered in thought, as she remember whose doll it is...
"U-chan!" A familiar shout alarmed Ayanami as she saw Javelin, Laffey, and Unicron coming to her. She mentally panics, she does not expect to be spotted here.
"Huh? Ayanami?" Javelin recognises her, "Ayanami!" She gleams in excitement as she hugs her.
"J-Javelin..." Ayanami replied slightly nervously.
"Hm... Laffey misses you..." Laffey muttered out loud. "Thirsty..." She muttered again, as she takes out a bottle with brown liquid out of nowhere, opens the lid, and drinks it.
"You found U-chan!" Unicron sighed in relief as the doll turns and runs up to her. She grabs it and hugs it. "Thank you, Ayanami." She thanked.
"It... Found me..." Ayanami quietly explains.
"Yeah, it did come to you..." Javelin replied, then she realises, "Wait, what are you doing here Ayanami? Don't you have others arriving to see the new Commander?" She asked.
"I..." Ayanami stutters a bit.
"Hm? Something wrong?" Javelin asked. Ayanami is in deep trouble, she has no idea what to do... Mainly what's coming next... She shook her head as her only course of action which luckily she bought it, "Okay then... Let's go, we need you to come down!" She gleamed grabbing Ayanami's hand as she is lead down to the base.
Back at the dorms, the six women are waiting by the dorms, Queen Elizabeth was tapping her foot down as Warspite is remaining by her side.
"So, what of this new Commander?" Elizabeth asked in a curious tone.
Wales smiles, "He seemed to be calm and well-thought." She describes the new Commander.
"What of his skills?" Rossiya asked.
"In the profile, he's known to be a hacker." Wales explained about the Commander's quirks.
"I see, this might be important when dealing with Sirens as well as dealing with their technology and lackeys." Rossiya replied.
"He seems also very chill, different from the Commander we know." Cleveland added.
"This makes me curious to meet him." Yat Sen ponders.
"Well, as long he is good enough... As we'll finally defeat these wretched Sirens, and avenge our Servant." Elizabeth affirmed.
"A path like that is certainly a way that can disrupt peace..." Richelieu reminded the leader of the Royal Navy. "Speaking of disruption, how is your sister?" She asked Hornet.
"Well..." Hornet rubs the back of her head, "She's doing okay, but she's been training a lot ever since then..." She worried for her sister. "I just hope she doesn't overdo it, maybe the new Commander can help her."
"I may confirm, that he is generous to all of us and promises he will not disappoint us." Illustrious replied.
"Hm, such kindness within him at his first arrival..." Richelieu smiles.
"Well, glad to hear that..." Hornet agreed.
"This intrigues me to meet the Commander." Yat Sen was interested.
Then another voice occurs, "As soon, the Commander prepares himself. The announcement will happen for the rest of the girls." They see John arriving at the conversation.
"Greetings Doctor." Rossiya gives a small nod, "I see you have finished leading the new Commander to his new office." She replied.
John nodded, "Indeed, he's soon preparing himself, by knowing all of you, as well as seeing his duties and schedule." He explains. "Now, the announcement will be held in the cafeteria, so we need to inform all of the girls."
"You may need to remind the three girls." Wales reminded Javelin, Laffey, and Unicorn.
"Got that covered, Yat Sen, you'll be joining me to find them. Is that okay for you?" He asked.
The Chinese Light Cruiser smiles and nods, "Of course Doctor." She replied. Then the two walk out to find the girls, while the rest are heading for the dorms.
"I don't think it's necessary..." Ayanami attempts to talk with Javelin as she holds her hand while they are returning to the base.
"Come on Ayanami, we need you to meet the new Commander." Javelin said with determination.
Unicorn nodded in agreement, "He's nice..." That is all that she can describe shyly about the Commander.
"Girls?" They soon hear the familiar voice as they see John along with Yat Sen arriving to see them.
"Doctor..." Laffey mumbled as she takes another sip from another bottle.
"There you are girls, you found the doll," John said as he then sees Ayanami, "Ayanami? What are you doing here?" He was surprised to see her. This caused Ayanami to grow even more nervous.
"Did you arrive here by yourself?" Yat Sen asked. This caused even more pressure on Ayanami.
"I..." She tries to speak.
"Maybe, she wants to see the new Commander." Javelin assumes.
John looks at Javelin, knowing the relationship between Javelin, Laffey, and Ayanami, he decides to assume, "So... Is the others coming?" He asked.
"Um... I'm not sure..." Ayanami shyly replied. She hates lying to the Doctor, but that's all she can do in this situation.
John sees Ayanami's shy state and places his hand on her shoulder which perked her up. "Ayanami, I know the Commander has been a great friend to you, as well as mine." He comforts her. "And I know, the officials have immediately decided to replace him, but this is for the sake of the war. He doesn't want you to be like this."
Ayanami remains silent as if her ideals of the Commander and her orders are getting conflict with one another.
John notices this, "How about this, you can join with Javelin and Laffey until the rest arrives for the announcement." He suggests. "And if you wanted to talk more, come to me or Vestal, we are here for you."
Ayanami slightly nods, John looks at Javelin and Laffey, "Take care of her." He said.
"We will!" Javelin affirmed. "Come on Ayanami, let's go back to our dorm. Just like old times."
"Laffey will help friend..." Laffey said with a tried determination.
Javelin nodded in agreement, "Yeah, we will, I wish Nimi is here..." She hoped.
"Don't worry if Ayanami confirms they are coming, we shall wait," John said. "For now, return to your dorms until 10:00." The girls nodded as they head there. "Yat Sen?" He calls out as the two remain standing.
She then spoke, "Yes Doctor?" Yat Sen asked.
"You should be with them, I have something to do for the new Commander," John replied as she nodded and walks off. Then he waits until Yat Sen is gone, he then blows out a whistle, then a bunch of Manjuus arrives at him. "Alright, I need you to do one simple request..."
"Bismarck..." Xavier continues to read through one of the profiles. Examples such as the leader of Iron Blood herself. He remains seated on his chair at his desk. Then he sees other leaders like, Vittorio Veneto, Nagato, Queen Elizabeth, Sovetskaya Rossiya, Yat Sen, Jean Bart, and Richelieu.
He went through almost everyone, now he wasn't a fan of working on papers, but he had no problem reading them.
"Eldridge..." He reads the little girl's profile, it said here she can emit electricity. He takes a random page and sees another one, "Z23 or 'Nimi' the Commander calls her..." He wondered why did the previous Commander call her that.
He sees more names, he can't comprehend how the previous Commander keeps up with the number of girls in this base.
Xavier's thoughts spoke out in his mind, "He must be a true gentleman if he can keep himself from..." He sees how most of the girls aren't even bad-looking, their bodies... He blushed so hard at their looks.
"Akagi..." He reads out those words, he then notices her bio and her relationships with the previous Commander...
He sweatdrops by seeing her relationship, this might be difficult for him... Then he looks for others, and then he sees Taihou and Junyou. The second was nerve-breaking for him because she's essentially another Akaji, but Junyou...
He sees her relationships... "She's the Commander's childhood friend?" He thought this confuses him, since when does she meet the Commander a long time ago? But then, he sees more... And to think, he felt sorry for her.
"There." Xavier muttered as he found Dido's profile. He learns about her abandonment issues, this is once again tragic. But he learns that Dido has slightly got help from the other girls since the Commander didn't abandon her, he was killed.
"I gotta do something to help them..." Xavier thinks something about these girls. He was told they suffer their loss, but seeing their bios, he can't help but feel sorry for them... He's gotta help them, for this is what the previous Commander wanted to do...
Just then the door opens, and Xavier looks but from his perspective sees no people, but floating devices? It's usually a bunch of computers, but then he hears chirping. He leans sideways, seeing the same yellow chicks once again, the Manjuus are here.
"Hey." Xavier gently calls them out. The Manjuus chirped in response, they placed the devices on the carpet floor. "Thanks." He replied to the chicks, which chirp once again, he stare at the computers, way advanced, something that first-class would use.
"Ahem." A voice interrupts his analysis as he sees John with his coat waiting by the door with the Manjuus on his shoulders and head. "It's time for the announcement. You can work on those later." Xavier stands up and joins the Doctor as they left the office with Manjuus.
In the cafeteria where the announcement begins, almost every girl has arrived. They are in groups, Portland is wondering about the Commander with her sister Indianapolis.
Chicago, Houston, and Northampton are speaking amongst each other and their friends.
Queen Elizabeth is seated on a chair with Warspite next to her. And beside them are the maids who are stoic with the expectation of Suffolk and Kent while Dido is the most nervous one.
Then there are the destroyers together, with Ark Royal beside them. Illustrious and Unicorn are next to each other, with Wales, and her sisters, King George V, Duke Of York, and Howe.
Meanwhile, Cleveland is with four girls, who are her sisters Columbia, Denver, Montpelier, and Birmingham are speaking to each other.
"Say, you meet the Commander, what's he like?" Denver asked.
"He was cool, he seemed calm." Cleveland replied.
"Well, can't wait to see him! Aren't you too Monty?" Columbia asked her sister Montpelier.
"If sis says he's cool, I'll trust her." Montpelier replied.
"We're with you sis!" Birmingham added.
Then at the destroyers group, Javelin, Laffey, and Ayanami are together as friends, Ayanami glances around her to see other destroyers and next to them beside Ark Royal is the submarines as if she is being watched.
"Are you okay Ayanami?" Laffey spoke out, which slightly alarmed her, "Laffey thinks you look sick..." She said.
"Yeah, are you okay? You need to speak to the Doctor or Vestal?" Javelin asked, concerned for her friend.
"I'm fine..." Ayanami replied with a quick response.
Meanwhile, outside the cafeteria, John and Xavier are going to one of the back doors. John grabs the handle of the door before turning to Xavier, "Just take your time with this, the officials have given us a few weeks until we proceed with the mission: Stopping the Sirens, we cripple them once before, now we can do it again." He stated.
"Right..." Xavier nodded, as John turns the handle, opening the door. The two then enter...
The girls are chatting amongst themselves until the announcement was called out, "Alright everyone listens up!" John yells out, as every girl gazes their eyes at him, and towards Xavier. "The new Commander is going to announce himself..." He stated as he turns to him.
Xavier took a step forward, and while a few amounts of the girls saw him before, everyone else is curious about him. Then he catches someone from the back side, next to Hornet. It was a woman with waist-length silver hair and purple eyes. She wears a white sleeveless collared and buttoned shirt, a loose black long-sleeve long coat, and a navy cap.
But he has an announcement to make so he clears his throat, "Alright, my name is Xavier Lewis... And I am the new Commander..." He introduces himself, seeing a bunch of stares, he sees Dido from the files he read about, looking very shy which would pale in comparison when meeting Unicorn.
"I know, that all of you had a relationship with the previous Commander and that he helped all of you." Xavier continues, "And that his... Death has taken a great deep toll on you." He said as the girls understand as the death of their Commander wasn't easy to overcome at the start, even a few downcasts occur.
"And I know to myself that I cannot be the Commander you all know..." Xavier admits, "But what I can do now, is help you all get through the struggle and win the war with the enemy. It's what he would have wanted for you..." He said as the girls think for themselves.
Ayanami listens to the speech as she glances at Javelin smiling while Laffey maintains her neutral expression but her eyes sparkle.
"Le Commandant..." Richelieu spoke out as Xaiver noticed, seeing this beautiful woman, "It has been a grace that you will do anything to help us, surely there is a reason for your path of virtue?" She wondered, causing other girls to wonder for themselves.
"Indeed, the other Commander has reasons, what are yours?" Washington calls out.
Xavier hears this and thinks for himself. His reason to help them? Becasue its the right thing to do... "It's becasue..." Just as he was about to speak, an explosion was heard. This alerted the girls and the Doctor.
"We're under attack!" John yelled. "Prepare the defenses!" He ordered as the girls immediately rushed out. Xavier was confused for a moment until he realised the situation, "Dido, Sirius, protect the Commander!"
"Hai." The two maids nodded, as Dido and Sirius pulls out the swords.
John turned to Xavier, "This isn't safe, head to the office, these two will protect you." He demanded.
Xavier nodded as the three maids guide him to the office, "This way, Honourable Master." Sirius replied with her deadpan but serious tone.

Outside near the island base, a large squadron of black ships are entering the coast, those vessels have glowing red outlines with futuristic design.
Cannons were fired hitting the docks and damaging the base. John and the girls arrived near the harbor as they recognise those ships...
"Sirens!" Baltimore exclaimed by these familiar ships.
"Pawns!" John pointed out the type of these Siren ships, "Alright, let's go!" He ordered. The girls nodded, as they jump out of the docks as a bright blue glow appear to reveal the ship's armaments, they landed the water like it was ground and then proceed to move toward the enemy.
Cleveland and her sisters went as a group as they surrounded a single ship before commencing fire causing it to get destroyed as it sunk in the ocean.
Washington and North Carolina are together as they both fire their cannons that manage to destroy a massive chunk of the Siren ship.
"Come on!" Javelin has her weapon ready, as Laffey joins her. But Ayanami who is behind them as they jump in knows whose fleet this is... But she decides to reveal it once her superiors call her out. So she joins them in the fight.
Javelin dodges the incoming fire as she throws her javelin which manages to penetrate the ship's armor, Laffey fires her torpedos which destroy another ship.
Meanwhile, Ayanami is on the battlefield, she notices the ship's cannons are aiming at her but then later lowers down. Just as she could do anything, planes came down dropping bombs that destroy the ship, as she turns to see Ark royal is the one doing it. She gives a thumbs-up to Ayanami which she slightly ignores.
Jeanne d'Arc points her sword at the enemy ship as her cannons from the riggings fire. She was supported by Richelieu's fire, another Siren ship is sunk. John is on the docks watching the battle commence. The defense seemed to be holding well, as they manage to destroy the pawns with ease.
"We got more enemies coming!" Howe calls out as more Siren ships arrive at the coast.
"Knights, Bishops, Rooks, and Queens this time!" Wales analysed the types of different black ships.
"Hmph, we can simply destroy them!" Elizabeth proudly stated as Warspite noticed something.
"Your Majesty, there's someone is behind the Siren forces." Warspite pointed out, as the girls saw the familiar figures.
"Is that...?" Cleveland sees the two.
Just then the two figures are visible to them which shocks them...
Two women, one with waist-length dark-brown hair, and red eyes, and the other is short white hair with blue eyes. Both are wearing Miko outfits in different styles and colors. And their most notable trait... Their fox ears and six tails...
"Akagi... And Kaga!?" Wales exclaimed to see these two... Working with the Sirens!? Almost everyone is surprised to see this.
Akagi smirked. "Hello, Prince Of Wales..." She replied as this stand-off becomes tense...
