The 'XZJQ Project' Presents...

|Time: 1226|

Inside the cave, Edinburgh, Sheffield, and Akashi are in a somewhat large cave room, with crates all around as the three attempt to spread out themselves.

The giant Siren-looking robot aims at Sheffield who is running and fires its lasers, which the maid dodges all while the lasers dissolve the crates. Sheffield raises her dual guns and fires at the head, but the bullets bounce off, not a single scratch.

Then Orochi digs its feet towards the ground, as the back reveals rocket thrusters. The thrusters burst out the flame as then Orochi launched off and is heading at Sheffield with blinding speed.

Sheffield slightly widen her eyes as she ducked down merely avoiding a fist and its arm that went straight through the cave wall. She jumps by using Orochi's stuck arm as a platform and jumps behind to attempt to find weak spots, but Orochi grabbed her leg with the other arm.

As she notice it, she sent was pulled, before Orochi throws her down on the floor, creating a crater, Orcohi attempted a stomp, but Sheffield rolled out of the way, but not fast enough to dodge an arm swing that sent her crashing into the crates.

Orochi aims its laser cannon at the crates where Sheffield had crashed, until a huge blast staggers it, as it was Edinburgh with Akashi on her back along already summoned her riggings. Orochi glares and aims its arm cannon at her. Edinburgh panics and ducks down, as the laser just so missed above her.

"Nya! Careful!" Akashi fretted, clutching onto Edinburgh tightly, as she runs behind the crates as cover before she trips once again. She gets up but sees Orochi aiming its laser cannon at them as their fear grows quicker... It suddenly depowers, Orochi stares at the arm canon, realising it has run out of energy.

Orochi then shifted its cannon form back to its hand and walked toward them, and just as it was about to grab them, cannons were shot above as rocks collapsed onto Orochi.

"This way!" Sheffield's voice caught their attention as the injured Sheffield with her summoned riggings and her noticeable bleeding forehead is at the doorway, where Orochi enters. The robot rises from the rock pile and sees the three escaping.

Sheffield sees Orochi now approaching them as she summons her riggings and fires at the ceilings whose rocks collapse on Orcohi and seal the doorway.

Sheffield catches up with the two, "Sheffield are you okay?" Edinburgh asked, huffing her breath.

"Just got injured." Sheffield calmly stated, but her expression was in pain which worries Edinburgh.

"Nya! There! Another exit!" Akashi pointed at another cave hole, "It used to be a secret exit that leads to the coast!"

"Why are you helping us?" Edinburgh asked as the two continue running at the exit Akashi pointed at.

"They would have gotten rid of me! Nya, silenced!" Akashi squealed, "Dead cats tell no tales!"

The three are outside of the exit, a rocky shore of a river that leads straight to the coast. With no hesitation, they jumped onto the water and move out. Edinburgh and Akshi are on the front, with Sheffield slightly behind, due to her injuries from Orochi.

"If we can reach the fogs... We'll be safe for now!" Edinburgh stated as they headed towards the misty area.

However, they didn't notice behind them are Akagi and Kaga along with their forces such as Ayanami, Takao, Z23, Kinu, and many more.

"They are trying to hide in the fog." Kaga stated, "That won't last long, we have Orochi's drones already inside the fog zone."

"Good, and soon, we will take back what was stolen." Akagi smiled, as she raised her hand, "Come now, let them show the might of the Crimson Axis." She instructed as the girls behind her nodded as they head into the fog at a fast pace.

"Sister, what of Orochi?" Kaga asked.

"Don't worry my dear Sister." Akagi assured her sister, "I told them that Project Orochi will join the fight."

Kaga nodded, "I witness one of the maids, Sheffield, she was heavily injured and likely faltering behind. Such raw strength Orochi is, despite its 50% completeness."

"Indeed, and soon our enemies will face it once again, as our guest is getting it out..." Akagi smirked.

The man at the cave is pulling out the rocks at the large rockpile that is blocking the doorway, his looks are covered in dust, as he is exhausted from carrying so much stone.

"That damn... Fox... Making do the damn work..." He grunted while kneeling on the ground while catching his breath.

Just the rocks crumbled down, revealing Orochi remained undamaged once again, it pushes the rocks away as it stands.

The man scoffed, "Finally! You couldn't get this rubble off by yourself!?" He yelled as Orochi stares at him. He picks up his radio and calls, "Alright Fox, I got him out, you are in control." He said. Then he calls off turning to Orochi, "You heard that fox, go follow her orders, for now."

Orochi then turns and walks to the exit while he stares.

|Location: Azur Lane Coast|
|Time: 1335|

Two fleets have arrived, as Xavier and Richelieu's have returned, Xavier is on the raft, and joined onto Richelieu's ship deck, along with Javelin and Laffey. The two discussed what they discovered while they wait for Elizabeth's fleet to return, Xavier speaks first.

"So, you saw nothing?" Xavier asked.

Richelieu nodded, "We explore throughout the vast area, we see no shipwrecks of our enemies." She explained, "Not even the radars pick any sunken ships."

"I see..." Xavier replied.

"But hearing to your journey..." Richelieu speaks about Xavier's fleet discovery. "It's possible that Akagi has managed to bring in a member of the terrorist to gain control of the Siren ships."

"It wouldn't be a normal member, the computers had nothing." Xavier stated, "It either must be a high member or something."

"We may think it must be their leader..." Richelieu assumed, "But it should be uncertain."

"What do you mean?" Xavier wondered.

"Because he had died by our Commander... By sacrificing himself to stop him." Richelieu answered with a hint of sadness. Xavier was surprised to hear how he died, seeing her expression he wait for a moment before asking another question.

"...Can you tell me his name?" Xavier asked.

Richelieu nodded again, "His name... Is Oswald Konrad. He once served with Nazi Germany and was a prisoner back when we were allied to fight the true threats." She explained. "He's a mastermind, giving even our Commander trouble times to get him."

"He's scary..." Javelin whispered as Laffey nodded.

"Oswald Konrad..." Xavier muttered.

"Komandir." He and Richelieu turned to see Avrora along with Helena, "Elizabeth's fleet isn't returning." She said.

"What?" Xavier replied.

"Helena?" Richelieu asked for any signals.

"I got nothing..." Helena shook her head, "They aren't calling."

"Then we need to find them." Xavier stated. "Going right where they headed off."

"Right with you Le Commandant. Stay with me." Richelieu said towards him, Javelin and Laffey, as both fleets combined to head out to find the Majesty's fleet.

|Location: Another/Foggy Island|
|Time: 1500|

It's been a few hours, as Edinburgh peeks her head out, looking around the surroundings. She sees nothing but ruined buildings, almost shallow-like waters, and just pure foggy mist that covers distances.

She sighed tho, knowing that outside is clear. She along with Sheffield and Akashi are inside the ruined church, due to this structure being the most undamaged which is a perfect hiding spot.

"So far... No one is here..." Edinburgh softly spoke out to Sheffield as she sat down on the bench, remaining as she is holding her waist. "You're getting worse Sheffy..."

"I'm fine... We need to find our Majesty." Sheffield stated, slightly wincing at this pain.

"No!" Edinburgh quietly exclaimed, "You're hurt!" She turns to Akashi, "You're a repair ship, can't you help her?" She asked.

"Nya?" Akashi perked, "F-fine, I'll do my best!" She heads to the injured maid.

Edinburgh then realises something and takes out what she took, a black, purple glowing cube. "Do you know what this is?" She asked Akashi who is healing Sheffield.

"Nya? I don't know what that is." Akashi admits as Edinburgh inspects this cube closer.

"Well, you saw what Akagi used it on right?" Edinubrgh wondered.

"Saw Akagi used on Orochi, nya..." Akashi replied, just as her body shivered, "And I nearly died by that thing..." She fretted.

"Orochi? You mean that... Scary Robot?" Edinburgh asked in fear. Akashi quickly nodded.

Edinburgh worries about that as she witnesses that Orochi seriously injured Sheffield, "Sheffy, are you alright now?" She asked.

Sheffield now healed by Akashi, slowly gets up, carrying her guns, "I'm now healed." She said as she heads to the hole of the church.

"Where are you going?" Edinburgh worried.

Sheffield looks around but then sees a red glow from a distance. She hides while still taking a peek, she turns to the two placings her finger on her mouth as a sign to be quiet which the two complied.

She takes another look, seeing the same drone once again, but it's accompanied by someone... It is Furutaka and Kako, along with Shouhou as are joined by the drone searching them.

Sheffield walks to the others, "They're coming, we need to move." She stated.

"Nya?!" Akashi quietly exclaimed, "I'm not going out there!" She shook her head.

"She's right," Edinburgh agreed, "If we go, we'll cause noise and that'll get their attention." She said.

"Indeed, but not just their attention." Sheffield replied. This confuses Edinburgh until she pulls out her guns and fires at the group.

"Sheffy, what are you doing!" Edinburgh panics as the bullets destroyed the drone that is with them.

Furutaka saw them, "Right here!" She pointed out as Shouhou immediately summons fighter planes and start heading toward the church.

"We go now!" Sheffield demanded as she grabs the cube. Edinburgh and Akashi have no choice but to follow.

Meanwhile, Takao is looking around, along with the drone and someone else... It was Orochi on her deck nonetheless, she gazes at that lifeless being. She can't help but feel intimidated by this thing.

The reason Orochi is with her is that Orochi does not have the full capabilities of all other girls including herself. Such as moving fast on water, can walk on water, but that's about it.

"I will admit, Sister..." A familiar voice spoke by her ear, revealing to Atago, her sister. "Orochi does seem... Threatening." She speaks.

"It does not matter Sis." Takao replied, "Orochi is on our side, and surely it will detect the-" A sudden boom occurred as the two turned, and Orochi notices as well. "Over there!" She pointed to the distance of a thicker smoke.

With no hesitation, Orochi jumps up, while causing damage to the deck floor. It landed on the waters with a big splash, yet it remained standing on the surface and then walks towards it.

"It seems that our squad has found them." Atago stated.

"Then let's not be hesitant!" Takao rushes towards the explosion as Atago smiles.

"Ara ara... Always straight-forward... Sis." Atago smiled before following her, as they summoned their riggings along Takao disappeared from her ship, so she can have her own.

The three skids through the water streams, throughout the town as planes, began firing down their machine guns. Sheffield and Edinburgh shoot them down with their anti-air guns and manage to destroy them.

Then they are chased by Furutaka and Koka, who fired their cannons. So they continued going, explosions happen in front of them as they stop.

"Stop!" It was revealed to be Iron Blood's ships, Seydlitz along with Koln, Karlsruhe, and, Konigsberg right in front of them. "You will not go further!" She stated.

Edinburgh, Sheffield, and Akashi remained in their position behind Furutaka, Koka, and even Shouhou arrived surrounding them.

"Sheffield, Edinburgh, you will surrender to yourselves and bring back your hostage to us!" Seydlitz demanded.

"We will not harm you, but to reduce the risk of it, you have to surrender." Koln added.

The three are in a tough spot, "Nya... Don't let Akashi go back..." Akashi whimpered.

Just as they were about to do something, they soon heard planes coming along with the Iron Blood and Sakura Empire. They saw fighter jets dropping bombs that caused explosions everywhere.

Everyone avoided the blast but caused a risk of separation. That Sheffield, Edinburgh, and Akashi saw them. It is Essex and the others, joined by other maids, and none other than Queen Elizabeth herself.

"Argh, there you two are!" Elizabeth yelled in frustration, "We've been looking for you two and..." She notices Akashi beside them.

"We can explain this later, your Majesty." Sheffield replied, "Right we have to deal with others." As she said, Seydlitz and the others reformed together.

"Queen Elizabeth!?" Seydlitz exclaimed.

"That's right!" Elizabeth proudly smirked, "Now you will face the might of our Royal Navy forces!"

Essex's face deadpanned, "Um, we're right here as well..." She said.

"Shut it, this is clearly my moment!" Elizabeth refuted, causing Essex to sweatdrop.

"Ara ara..." Atago's voice called out, "Well, unfortunately, your Majesty, that moment will be halted." As she and Takao have arrived as well.

"And us included..." Another familiar voice occurred, as it was Prinz Eugen along with Ayanami, Nimi, Giulio Cesare, and Dunkerque.

Two sides are at a standoff with Giulio glaring at Warspite who glares back.

"That's enough..." Akagi appeared alongside Kaga, and behind them... Is Orochi itself, walking before stopping its steps.

Akashi and Edinburgh tensed up, with Sheffield wielding her guns and aiming at the robot. Elizabeth and the others are surprised to see this thing.

"Akagi!" Elizabeth shouted, "What is this!?" She pointed at Orochi.

Akagi giggles as she stares at Elizabeth, "Well, Akagi is proud to introduce you to you... Project Orochi." The robot's red eyes glow brighter indicating the glare toward Elizabeth's fleet. "I'm sure your two maid pests of seen its full hand, tho you were healed by no other than Akashi..." She said as Akashi feels fear chilling up to her by Akagi's stare.

"Clearly, they forced her Sister..." Kaga replied, as Akashi tried to deny but with this situation, she can't.

"Indeed, Akagi will show them the wrath of Orochi..." Akagi stated.

"Or we do not need to fight at all." A voice from behind spoke out as Akagi glares knowing who it is. Xavier and his fleet have arrived, right behind Elizabeth's. As Xavier is on a small yet advanced boat, specifically suited for the Commander in this situation.

It was mentioned that the previous Commander had used it, and it was made by him, tho the modifications are made by the Doctor and other girls.

"We have heard the commotion happening here." Richelieu explained their arrival.

"Ah! Commander's fleet has arrived!" Edinburgh sighed in relief.

Elizabeth smirked, and turns to Akagi, "Well, I think this is just enough to put you down, you fox." She sassed.

"Or maybe... We'll talk this out." Xavier spoke out, much to Elizabeth's slight surprise. He arrive at the front, while his fleet remained guarded along with Akagi's side.

"Akagi, I know what pain you're going through..." Xavier tries to comfort her.

"So you know what Akagi's going through?" She asked.

"I do... I can help you with that." Xavier assured.

"You wanna help Akagi?" Akagi questioned, "Then disappear, you aren't needed." She demanded with a glare.

"You know I can't do that," Xavier replied, not being flinched by Akagi's words. "We can find your Commander if we work together. If you believe that he is still alive..."

"Akagi doesn't believe, Akagi knows he is alive..." Akagi stated. "It seems you are like the others, denying the possibilities when they don't know about Akagi's love." She sneered. "Your words fell deaf on Akagi's ears... Orochi."

With a simple word spoken, Orochi raised its arm, revealing the same laser cannon, aimed at Xavier. Sheffield with a more quick reaction fired her gun at the cannon itself. The bullet inside the cannon caused a malfunction, causing it to revert back to its hand.

Akagi scorned, "Get them." She ordered as Kaga summons her planes as they charged toward the opposing fleet.

"Scatter!" Essex shouted as they avoided Richelieu managing to take Xavier with her. However, the planes landed as an explosion occur nearly caught Xavier the girls furthermore avoid it just in time before the big explosion can fully damage them as they separated into smaller groups.

"Find them!" Akagi ordered as her fleet separated as well to find the groups.

Javelin and Laffey are together as they move at a rapid pace through the ruined town, they come across their two friends.

"Javelin, Laffey, you aren't going nowhere." Nimi stated as she has her custom-made cannon and her torpedos aiming at the two, with Ayanami holding her sword.

"Ayanami... Nimi..." Javelin muttered.

"Are you alright, Le Commandant?" Richelieu asked as Xavier is leaning on the wall, he was bruised by the blast, but he is luckily guarded by Le Terrible and Le Triomphant.

"Your legs have been bruised, it's best to not move too much Le Commandant." Le Terrible advised.

"That was a risky move, Le Commandant, talking in front of the gunfire." Le Triomphant replied.

"I know... But I had to speak to them." Xavier responded while wincing in pain when slightly moving his legs.

"Le Terrible and I shall move you somewhere safe, Le Commandant." Le Triomphant assured as the two lifted him up as placed him inside the ruined building in the corner, "We will avert the attention away from you." She said.

"...Alright, be careful." Xavier replied as he settles at the corner.

"Thank you Le Commandant, and so shall you." Richelieu nodded as the three head out.

"What the heck is that?!" Washington exclaimed as she fires her cannons at Orochi but it did nothing but stagger it back before continue walking toward them.

Edinburgh is with Washington, along Akashi. "That's Orochi, a weapon project made by Akagi and Kaga." She panicky explained.

"Well, this 'Orochi' thing won't die!" Washington grunted as North Carolina fires her cannons at the robot leading to the same result as Washington's attack. Joined by Avrora, Chapayev, and Kronshtadt.

"None of our weapons is even capable of denting its armor." Kronshtadt remarked at Orochi.

"If we can't destroy it, we stall it." North Carolina replied.

"Ugh, I hated that we don't get to destroy that thing." Washington is annoyed by this as she sees the building next to Orochi and fires at it, causing it to collapse onto the robot behemoth. "There that should keep it down."

"We need to regroup the others." Avrora stated as they nodded and head off, as the pile rumbled, Orochi removes the collapsed rubble and seeing them speeding away, it soon follows them.

Elizabeth avoids the shot and fires back, as she along with others is fighting the Crimson Axis, Warspite is dealing with a tough challenge against Giulio who is almost a good shooter compared to her.

Chao Ho, and Ying Sei are maneuvering around against Furutaka and Kako. Shouhou deals with a plane dogfight against the likes of Bataan, Eagle, and Chen Hai, luckily she is supported by the likes of Akagi and Kaga.

Essex, Bunker Hill, Intrepid, Shangri-La, and Ticonderoga deal with Atago and Takao who are very formidable opponents despite their numerical advantage.

And lastly, Renown, Helena, Gloucester, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Sheffield are dealing with Prinz Eugen, Giulio Cesare, Dunkerque, Seydlitz, Koln, Karlsruhe, and, Konigsberg.

Akagi and Kaga witness this chaotic battle, "As much how enjoyable this fight is, let's summon the drones shall we Sis?" Akagi smirked.

"Indeed, my Sister." Kaga nodded as multiple bright reds glow appear in the clouds looking like a swarm. The Azur Lane girls notice it as the drones fly out of the smoke and began shooting bullets at them.

The girls avoided them, Essex, Bunker Hill, and Intrepid shoot down the drones, while Shangri-La, and Ticonderoga continue fighting against Atago and Takao.

Elizabeth joins the Eagle Union Aircraft carriers in shooting down the drones, "There's too many of them!" She shouted as more drones comes down and manages to hit her riggings, seeing the bullet holes in them.

"Perhaps assistance is required." Richelieu arrived along with Le Terrible and Le Triomphant. They fired their anti-air along with their cannons to shoot down these drones. However, the situation goes worse as Orochi now arrives on the battlefield.

Akagi smiled seeing the weapon back, as the Azur Lane who faced this thing felt dread in fear. Essex with no hesitation summoned her planes that release a barrage of fire at Orochi creating a huge explosion.

Orochi walks out of it, Gloucester and Newcastle attempt to attack both sides at close range, but was unexpected by its reaction, they were grabbed by Orochi and tossed straight into the building.

"Gloucester! Newcastle!" Glasgow exclaimed, seeing them being thrown. Washington, Wales, Hood, and North Carolina begin the combined attack of their firepower. Yet still, Orochi stands, yet slightly pushed back by their firepower.

"What kind of monster is that?..." Wales was shocked to see this robot still standing. After the barrage is over, Orochi is on its knee, it looks up at the fleet.

"Such power you witness..." Akagi spoke as the battle continues, "It's a shame you refuse to join Akagi's side... Orochi, the drones."

With a simple command, Orochi raises its hands as the remaining drones stopped attacking the girls they were confused. The drones surrounded Orochi as it glows purple, turning into cubes. The cubes formed onto Orochi's arm revealing an arm cannon made by the drones.

Orochi aims at them, and before it can fire, an arrow hit the cannon. It was a familiar yellow energy arrow, and before they can realise that, the arrow lodge inside the cannon causing a large explosion.

Orochi gets launched with its new cannon destroyed and crashes into a large building as the weak structure fully collapsed onto it.

Akagi turns to see who fired that arrow, "Enterprise..." She growled.

It's revealed to be Enterprise holding her bow, and she's not alone... Hornet, and Belfast. She aims at the Akagi and Kaga. But then Orochi comes out of the pile once again, staring at its ruined weapon, it soon glares at Enterprise...

Xavier was resting in the corner, he hears someone coming. He goes silent, hoping someone won't notice him, but the sound of water goes closer...

"Commander?" It was revealed to be Baltimore. "Commander! Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm bruised, can't move too far." Xavier replied in relief. Baltimore then decides to carry him, in a bridal style as well. "Thank you..." Xavier muttered.

Baltimore slightly blushed by this, "No worries Commander." She slightly stuttered.

"What are you doing here?" Xavier asked.

Baltimore immediately shook off her blush as her serious expression takes over, "Commander... Enterprise followed your fleet..." She explained.

"Eh?" Xavier is surprised to hear this.

Baltimore continued, "Hornet and Belfast took me to chase after her. We split up when we arrived here, then there was a battle happening."

"And you found me..." Xavier concluded as she nodded, "We need to fall back, Akagi, she formed up the Crimson Axis... They have a powerful weapon..." He said.

"Of course, Commander..." Baltimore replied. "We'll find them." She said as she heads where the battle is happening.

"Ayanami... Nimi..." Javelin muttered as she and Laffey face to face with Ayanami and Nimi. "We don't have to fight..." She said.

"As much we don't want to either." Nimi replied, "But you need to come with us." She demanded, still aiming her gun at them.

"Laffey think... We should be friends..." Laffey stated.

"We're not friends anymore... We're now enemies!" Ayanami disputed.

"You may think of it!..." Javelin yelled but slightly lowered her tone. "But to us, it doesn't matter. We were once together, and our friendship would never break..."

Laffey nodded, "We will never hurt you..." She said.

Nimi and Ayanami looked at each other, then Nimi spoke, "We also don't wanna hurt you..." She replied. "Then join with us, our Kommandant is alive."

Ayanami nodded, "Akagi knows where he is and can bring him back to us... You missed him do you?" She asked.

Javelin and Laffey look at each other, as Javelin wanted to speak, "Laffey loves Commander, but Laffey isn't sure if he is alive..." Laffey spoke up, "But Commander doesn't want me to be lost, he wants Laffey to be... Laffey."

Javelin smiled, "I also... Love Commander, but..." She goes closer with Laffey, "He doesn't want us to be stuck... Just because we lose our way doesn't mean we are lost forever." She mentioned. "Commander wants us to keep going, no matter what we lost."

Nimi and Ayanami stare at each other... Then they lower their weapons. "We... Aren't going to join you... Our Kommandant is alive, but... Consider this encounter won't end in battle." Nimi said as she leaves.

Ayanami stares at Javelin and Laffey, "We can still be friends..." Their voices echo in her mind, she hated this conflict. Why must they fight? Should she find her Shikkian or join the new one?

"Ayanami?" Nimi's voice interrupts her, as Ayanami turns before staring at Javelin and Laffey, then joins up with the Iron Blood as they disappear in the fog. Just then the battle is seen, with explosions where Nimi and Ayanami are going.

"Javelin... Commander..." Laffey speaks up.

"Eh!? Right!" Javelin replied as her expression was filled with determination, "Because, he promised us, that he will help them!" She stated. "Come on!" She grabs Laffey's arm, dragging her to find the Commander.

Orochi knocks Helena away with a backhand attack, Edinburgh helps her get up along with the injured Gloucester, and Newcastle is joined by Eagle and Glasgow. The battle still continues...

Enterprise and Sheffield attempt to shoot at the back of the neck of Orcohi but it turns around immediately and grabs Enterprise's bow and crushes it, snapping it in half. Then Sheffield was smacked once again by a backhand of Orochi. She crashed onto the water, and Orochi grabs her by the throat as its fist clenches, causing Enterprise to choke.

"Sister!" Hornet exclaimed as she tries to help, but Kaga prevents her to reach her.

As Orochi continues to strangle Enterprise, "That's enough Orochi..." Akagi spoke up, halting its kill as Enterprise is alive but was heavily strained. "Grey Ghost, I'm aware that you aren't at your normal self anymore... Is there something troubling you?" She asked.

"..." Enterprise says nothing as she tries to escape Orochi's grip.

Akagi smiled as she goes closer to her, "I know you're in pain, Grey Ghost, and so does Akagi..." She whispered to her. "But I will promise you that your pain will go away if you accept the surrender, Orochi won't, well you might know..." She made a deal as the battle goes around with others who can't help her due to them facing others.

Enterprise refuses to speak or agree with Akagi as she smiles once again, "Very well... Akagi suppose that is what you want... To be truly like him..." She said. "Orochi..."

Orochi clenches its fist more as Enterprise cries out in pain, as Akagi smiles. Just then two familiar figures arrived it was Baltimore and Xavier as she fired her cannons at the back of Orochi, causing it to stagger and releasing the grip of Enterprise.

"Commander!" Hood notices Baltimore carrying Xavier.

"Belfast, we need to fall back, use your smokescreen." He ordered.

"Yes, your Master." Belfast nodded as she emits a huge smoke screen covering the entire area. Everyone is blinded by it.

"Helena?" Xavier calls out, as he sees an injured Helena supported by Renown. "Can you guide the others?" He asked.

Helena slowly nodded as she used her radar for everyone, "This way..." She grunted.

"Alright, everyone we need to retreat..." He demanded as he notices Enterprise was carried by Hornet. "She and I need a talk..." Hornet nodded, knowing what he means.

"Commander!" Javelin and Laffey have arrived through the smokescreen, "Was that Belfast?" She asked.

"I'll explain..." Xavier replied. "We need to go..." As the remaining consciousness, Azur Lane nodded and carried the injured as they retreat.

The smoke has been cleared as Prinz Eugen and her companions look around to see nothing there. As Orochi also looks for targets. Ayanami and Nimi already arrived as the smokescreen occurred.

"They escaped..." Takao said, she turns to Akagi, "Akagi, we-"

"That's fine enough, Takao..." Akagi spoke as her smile remains, "They are on retreat." She said, confusing Takao.

"But Sister, they had the cube." Kaga replied.

"That won't matter..." Akagi assured, with no worries, "They cannot handle the power of Orochi, as soon we complete 75% of our dear Project, we can send the weapon only to retrieve our cube. No casualties for us." She stated.

"Very well Sis." Kaga nodded as she turns to others, "We are returning back to base." She announced as the Sakura Empire ships head off with one Sardenga Empire and Vichya Dominion ship following them.

The Iron Blood left with Prinz Eugen staying, "Putting huge faith in that project already? You must be very careful." She asked with a small smile while staring at Project Orochi.

"Of course, Eugen..." Akagi smirked, "And with our Heaven's Will and Orochi... We will be victorious against anyone..."
