Hi guys here is chapter 2, sorry it took me a while, also I normally don't do two chapter fights, usually I just do it all in one chapter, so expect less of this next time. It will still happen but I'll try to avoid it if possible. I hope you guys enjoy this.
Slight A/N: In the previous chapter I did things wrong, like miscounting the CB that was available for Takeru, I have rectified that, and will try to do better next time.
Start of Chapter 2: Takeru vs Satoshi part 2
"Stand and draw." Satoshi said as he began his turn. "Here I come!" He then raised the card he drew from his hand and after lightly raising it in the air, began his ride chant. "Brave hero, let your resolve burn with justice. To vanquish the unjust and defend the weak! Demonstrate my meaning, my very soul!" As he slammed the card on his Vanguard circle it glowed Silver as Grandvolver's form was consumed by lights, and in his place stood a robot mech with its silver outlines and its sword. "Great Cosmic Hero, Grandgallop!"

"Generation Zone, Release!" he called out as he used a Grandrope. "Soar! Golden wings that spread through the cosmos, become the guiding stars of justice! Stride Generation! Super Cosmic Hero, X-Lead!"
As Gallop twirled its sword a cyclone covered him as a gigantic gold and green mech appeared, its golden blades singing with power.
"Stride skill! X-Lead gains 4000 power as well as an additional skill! Next I call Enigman Droplet behind Grandsub, then with its skill!" He said as he chose his Granvolver as cost. "Burst, my Vanguard has at least 30000 power so I draw a card. Then I call Miracle Beauty and Commander Laurel to separate rear-guard circles."
Three more allies then heeded the call of their commander, first off behind him, an Enigman with a light blue frame, to its left a woman with green hair and a pink tightsuit, and behind the woman a man with a cape signaling that he is ready for the attack.
"Then I use X-Lead's skill!" He declared as he flipped up another copy of itself. "I rest Grandhop to give Grandsub 4000 power, this then means I can use Grandsub's skill! I give 4000 to my Vanguard as well as another skill. I'm not done yet!" He said as he paid a counterblast. "Enigman Droplet's other skill, I give X-Lead 4000 power, I can soulcharge since his power is above 34000."

"I guess he's ready to begin his attack." A female voice said as Sakuya and Claire turned, recognizing who it is.
"Oh! Hi Bella-san!" Sakuya greeted. The woman was a young adult blonde with her neck level hair being tied into a ponytail thanks to a green ribbon. The bangs in her hair was moved to make way for her blue eyes. At 5'9 she's currently wearing a long-sleeved white shirt that has yellow trimmings on it. She then complements it with a green sleeveless vest that has a small sticker of Dragonic Overlord, which is the symbol of Kai-Rebirth she then completes it with white slacks for today.
"Hey Sakuya-chan, Claire-chan, what did I miss?"
"Oh nothing much," Claire replied. "Takeru just finished his turn, so it's Satoshi's turn now. He's just about to enter his battle phase."
"X-lead attack, Ahmes!" He said as the giant robot raised its twin blades against its target.
"No guard." At that Ahmes just braced himself for the attack.
"Rear-guard attack?" Sakuya wondered.
"It's Commander Laurel." The younger Yamato explained. "By focusing the attack on Ahmes, it takes away an intercept, as well as 6 drive checks since Takeru is not guarding it."
(Drive Check- Cosmic Hero, Grandbeat- Critical)

"Critical trigger, I give the power to Grandsub, and the critical goes to X-Lead!" Satoshi declared as the knight of light was sliced to bits. "Since my attack hits, first part of X-Lead's skill, my power was at least 35000, so I draw a card, then since it's at least 40000 I stand Grandhop behind my Vanguard."
"Since 5 rear-guards are standing…" Sakuya realized.
"It's exactly what you're thinking Sakuya-chan, Satoshi-kun can now get a rear-guard attack."
"Commander Laurel's skill! Miracle Beauty, Grandhop, Droplet, and Laurel himself, I rest them all!" He called out as the FPD rested the rear-guards automatically. "In exchange I stand my Vanguard, and now he attacks again!"
As Ahmes was destroyed, the giant mech's eyes then glowed as it raised its weapons again, and as it brought down its sword at Alfred, a female blonde created a barrier in front of them.
"H-Holy Knight!" He said as he discarded a copy of Lien from his hand. "Perfect guard!"
'As much as her skill will be useful, now that I don't have any card in my soul, she's a deadweight.'
"Triple drive!" He began as his first check glowed blue. "Operator Girl Reika, a stand trigger, I give all effects to Miracle Beauty, then with her skill, I stand Laurel behind her. Second check, Grandbeat, a critical trigger! I give all effects go to Grandsub, then third check, nothing."

"Too close…" Takeru sighed in relief.
'If I let that attack hit, even if I stay at 5 damage, he'll just stand another unit with X-Lead's skill, then rest them all again to get another Vanguard attack.' He thought.
"Grandsub attacks your Vanguard!"
"No guard!" The blue mech then fired its missiles against the king of the Paladins who survived the attack though took a beating.

"Draw trigger, I draw a card and give 10000 power to my Vanguard."
"In that case, Miracle Beauty attacks Star Hope!" At that declaration though the woman then charged at the instrument player and took her out as Takeru opted not to protect it. "I end my turn."

"Stand and draw." Takeru said as he began his turn while assessing the field.
'I only have 6 cards in my hand, while Satoshi has 10, he would probably have a Perfect Guard or two there and his field is already full as well, but I have no choice, I won't have a next turn, so I'll risk it all here!' he thought while discarding an Alfred Oath he drew.
"Stride Generation! Great Knight of Solitary! Come out and fight for peace! Gancelot Peace Saver!" He shouted Alfred slammed his sword downward as the future version of the Solitary Knight appeared with his sword raised and ready.
Satoshi's eyes though, were twitching as he accusingly looked at his sister.
'I'm 100% sure that you gave him this card to spite me for making you eat oranges.' He thought, and the mischievous eyes that Claire had confirmed it. He never had a problem with the 4 drive, after all, it would be hypocritical of him to do so as he had a card with that same mechanic on his deck, still, it bugged him a lot that Royal Paladin somehow got a card that could do the same thing X-Gallop could do, but net resources at the same time while being GB1.
"I use Elron's skill!" He said as he shot the card into his soul. "I superior call Benon, and with Benon's skill, I superior call Mirron behind him, I then draw with Mirron's skill." Takeru said removing the Elron he just added to the soul. "Then I call Blaster Blade and retire the Mirron behind Benon to call Floral Paladin Flogal."
As Gancelot's sword radiated, the present version of the knight of light appeared smiling to Takeru as to the left, Benon appeared, as Mirron casted a spell before a pink dog appeared behind the male mage.
"Takeru-kun's going all out." Sakuya said.
"He has no choice; he knows that Satoshi will not give a next turn." The redhead added. "If he has any turn to risk it all, it's now.
"Flogal boosts, Benon attacks Grandsub!" And as the strawberry blonde player realized that the unit has served its purpose retired it at the same time as the mage blasted the bot to kingdom come.
"I attack your Vanguard with Gancelot Peace Saver!" The blue haired guy said as he countercharged a card. "I not only countercharge, but I get an extra drive check as well."
"Come to our hero's aid, Enigman Calm! Perfect Guard!"
As the knight created a beam that flew towards gallop, a yellow Enigman appeared and created a barrier around the Cosmic Hero.
"Quadruple drive!" He called out. "Critical trigger, all effects to Blaster Blade! Second check, third check, fourth check, Critical trigger! I give all effects to Blaster Blade again!"

"That's Blaster Blade with 30000 power alone!" The cyan haired girl smiled. "Go Takeru-kun!"
"Yes yes, cheer for your boyfriend like it's not obvious." Claire snidely commented as Sakuya turned red
"Blaster Blade attacks!" Takeru said without boosting.
"Grandbeat and Grandlady will guard!"
The vassal could not even begin to attack as the two mechs barred his path.
"Well how about this, Flogal's skill! Counterblast, I return Flogal to the deck, and stand Blaster Blade, and he attacks again!"
This time the knight went and tried to attack this time, except a lone mech appeared with its red and white armor blocked the blow.
"Generation Guard! X-Carivou!" Satoshi called out using his third heal trigger. "I increase it's shield by 10000 since your attack power is at least 30000, then Droplet guards."
"I couldn't clench it, turn end."

"Stand and draw." Satoshi began his turn as he checked the field. "Perfect, everything is set." He muttered as he let a Grandrope from his hand fly into the drop zone. "Even the shadows of darkness take on the reigns of justice! Stride Generation! Dark Superhuman, Omega!"
Takeru though was surprised as the giant monster appeared, he was expecting him to swing back with X-Gallop, not Omega.
"Stride skill! I give my Vanguard 4000 power, then Omega's skill! Counterblast, Soulblast, I move Miracle Beauty to the soul, for this turn, your front row's power is reduced by her power!"
As the monster raised its hand, Miracle Beauty only had a face of resignation as her very essence was gathered onto the being's palm, which then flew as an aura towards Takeru's frontline, where the units suddenly started gagging as if they had inhaled toxic gas.
"Now that Takeru-kun's Vanguard is at 1000 it's going to take a lot just to protect himself." Bella commented.
"And Satoshi-kun's still powering up. With no Perfect guards or Heal triggers in his hand, he's in a pinch."
"I call Operator Girl Reika, I use her skill, I return her to the deck and shuffle, I give 4000 to my Vanguard. I then call Miracle Beauty once more in front of Laurel and I then use Grandhop's skill, I give 4000 to my Vanguard, then since its power is now at 38000, I move it to the soul, I draw, and countercharge, then I call Grandhogan in front of Droplet, with Grandhogan's skill, counterblast, I give my Vanguard 4000 power as well as draw a card." He said as he looked at the card he drew. "I call Grandgunner."
As the gunner returned to the field, albeit supporting Omega, to the left a robot more akin to a Spikes Brothers unit appeared ready.
"Now Battle, I attack your Vanguard with Omega! With Reika's skill I draw."
"How much power is that?!" Sakuya asked.
"53000…"
"Seriously Claire-chan?!"
"I'll guard it!" Takeru said as he used up two copies of Flogal, Sicilus, and Laura from his hand. "Benon intercepts!"
"He has no choice, he has enough to barely guard." Bella realized.
"Triple drive!"

"Critical trigger!" Satoshi called out as Takeru's eyes widened. "I give all effects to Omega!"
Despite the best efforts of his retainers, it was proven to not be enough as the being went through them all and delivered a blow straight against Alfred.
"Damage check…"

As the last card was not a heal trigger, the match ended in a loss for Takeru.

And so ends this chapter. Also Bella is an OC created by Decode9, who also created Sakuya. Bella is a new addition to the story, she'll be in a match next time against a character from the OG series.
