Here's chapter 3, I've been feeling some motivation to write this out, thank goodness, anyway here is chapter 3, I hope you all enjoy!
Chapter Name: Bella vs Rekka
"It's my loss." Takeru smiled.
"Don't beat yourself up over it." Satoshi said. "That was much better compared to before."
"Yeah, the card Claire gave really helped." He admitted.
"Eh? I missed it, boo!" A young woman said as she entered, she had purple eyes and orange twin tailed hair while smiling as she entered.
"Oh, hi Rekka-san!" The Royal Paladin player greeted. He had known of her, she was a very good Angel Player, despite not playing in the professional scene, not only that but she used to be part of an idol group known as Ultra Rare, though he wondered what happened to the other two members of that group, as the only thing they knew was her, and that she was mentoring the new idols under the Tatsunagi Foundation, TryAngel, which was a boy idol group that Claire was a big fan off. "Why are you here?"
"Well first off I was bored and-"
"Since when are you not bored?" Takeru regretted asking that as immediately one second later Rekka had stomped on his foot, HARD. "OWWWW!"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU LITTLE MUNCHKIN?!" The retired idol asked.
"N-N-nothing…"
"Good!" As his foot was released from pain, he immediately rubbed it to lessen it.
"Anyway!" The girl smiled. "As I was saying! I got bored, but I also have a reason for being here." She then took a bit of a serious tone. "You know the current perception about Kai Rebirth right?"
"Yeah" The captain of the five, Satoshi replied. "After Kai-san disappeared, and due to public scrutiny of him, the school was on the verge of closing."
Takeru had remembered that day as well and knew how it affected everyone. He remembered how one of his friends stopped playing the game, another moved far away, and for Claire, she had to drop her favored Narukami deck in order to pick up Great Nature just to get away from it all. If it wasn't for the head of the foundation, Tatsunagi Takuto, merging his funded school of Fukuso High with Kai-Rebirth, they would be in so much trouble.
"Takuto was able to silence the dissenters before, but now, on the 6th anniversary of his disappearance, the voices are increasing again, so he's requesting a Cardfight, between one of you all and a Cardfighter of his choosing."
"Who is it Rekka-chan?" Sakuya asked.
"Souryu Leon."
"Souryu Leon? You're kidding right?" Claire questioned.
"No I'm not, it was Leon himself who requested a match with you all, and he already chose his opponent." She then pointed to the Royal player. "You, Takeru-kun will play."
"W-wait? M-me? Why me? Everyone here is much better than me! Satoshi, Claire, Sakuya, Bella! Everyone is-"
"It's personal for him…" The idol replied. "Takeru, Souryu Leon had a friend who used Blaster Blade, who was Kai's Best friend as well. It would do you good to play."
"But…"
"You'll be fine Takeru-kun." Sakuya cheered.
"Yeah, there's a lot of us here you know, you think we'll let you go out there without helping you?" The Great Nature player asked.
"I… thanks you guys."
"Alright! Now that that's done." Rekka began with a yawn. "I want a Cardfight. I barely get time off due to training TryAngel so I want a match."
"Of course she does." Bella commented.
"What was that?!"
"You heard me!"
"That's it, you, me, game, now!"
"Fine by me!"
"They ALWAYS do this." Sakuya groaned.
"I'll start then!"
"Fine by me 'idol'-san." The younger girl mocked.
"Stand up, Vanguard!"
"Semilunar Magus!"
"First Aid Celestial, Peniel!"
Behind Bella a girl with white hair and a dark blue and white armor appeared while a white nurse with blue wings and a med kit appeared behind Rekka.
"Since you told me to go first, I will. Draw." The girl began as added a card to her hand, before plucking another one and riding it. "Ride, Marking Celestial Arabhaki!" She said as she moved Peniel behind her Vanguard before ending her turn.
As the nurse jumped back another angel, this time with a red nurse outfit and a rifle appeared with a confident smile.
"My turn." Bella began. "Ride! Circle Magus! I move Semilunar to the bottom left, Circle's skill! I check the top card of my deck." She said as she did the actions. "I place the card back on top. I call Crescent behind Circle. I attack your Vanguard! I declare the name of the top card of my deck with the skill of Crescent, I declare Cone Magus." She then showed the card to Rekka. "Since that's the correct card, I get 3000 power.
Unlike the entry of Arabhaki though, the lightly armored Magus came from above, blasting at Arabhaki while at the same time a female magus with a green dress and a moon head staff appeared.
"No guard."
"Check, no trigger."

As the beam was fired, Arabhaki just braced herself, screaming as she got hit.
"I end my turn."

"Bella made a good call with Crescent." Satoshi commented.
"What do you mean?" Takeru asked.
"Think about it, the Magus deck is all about predicting what the top card of the deck is, by calling Crescent, a unit that automatically has a skill that allows you to predict without firing of other skills yet".
"She would always be on point with her predictions!"
"Exactly."
"Draw. I ride Frontal Celestial, Mel'ejal, and I call another copy of her, Broken Heart as well!"
Arabhaki gave a wave to Rekka as the Vanguard circles collapsed on her, as a new girl with blue hair and a bow took her place, another one appearing at her left, and to her right a girl with possibly a mobile defib kit ready to shock the enemy.
"My rear-guard Mel'ejal attacks your Vanguard!"
As the archer took aim and fired a girl with a wand appeared and took the blow for Circle.
"I guard with Stellar."
"Broken Heart attacks your Vanguard!" She said as she rested the unit.
This time the girl on the right was the one who charged, raising her hands as her weapon started cracking in electricity as it shocked Circle due to Bella not guarding.

"My Vanguard Mel'ejal attacks!"
'She went with rear-guard attacks first. Is this deck built around standing?' Sybella thought as she nodded at Rekka to signify her not guarding.
"Drive trigger check, I got nothing."

"Nothing."

This time though, the archer in the middle fired, and with no one protecting Circle, the hit was a success.

"Stand and draw." Bella said. "Ride! Stellar Magus! I call Rhombus in front of Semilunar."
As Circle took a bow, the girl who had protected her earlier appeared to replace her, as to her left a woman with red armor and floating polygons surrounding her.
"I attack your Vanguard with Rhombus. I predict the top card of my deck." Bella said. "I predict, Paisley Magus!" She said, although instead the revealed card was Pentagonal.
"Hopeful much?"
"A girl can dream ok?" She retorted. "You guarding?"
"Nope." As she said that the floating squares collapsed on Mel'ejal.

"Stellar Magus attacks your Vanguard! With Crescent's skill, I predict the top card of my deck, Pentagonal Magus." She did not even need to do anything as both parties already knew. "And thus, my vanguard gains an additional 3000 power. Then Stellar's skill." She said as she paid the counterblast cost. "I predict the top card of my deck, and if it's correct, I add it to my hand. I choose Pentagonal Magus." She smiled as the card was correct, allowing her to add it to her hand.
"No guard."
"Drive check, critical trigger! I give all effects to my Vanguard!"

"Damage Check, stand trigger, second check, draw trigger, man that sucks." Rekka commented as the two triggers basically went to waste.

"Bella-san is in the lead." Takeru noted.
"Go get them Bella-chan!"
"It's still too early Sakuya." Claire interrupted. "She's now going to ride to Grade 3, let's see what she does."
"But it does not change the fact that Bella was able to successfully punish her overconfidence." The Dimension police player added.
"Stand and draw." The girl began her turn. "Chaste maiden who can hear God's voice, heed His words and protect your loved ones! Prophecy Celestial, Ramiel!" She said as the card spun in front of her. "Zing! Bam! Ride!" she called out with a finger gun reaction.
Mel'ejal though just smiled as she was replaced by the vice-captain of the Celestial troop, wielding her dual weapons against her target.
"I use Peniel's skill," she began as she placed the card in her soul. "I superior call Narelle from the damage zone behind my Vanguard, I then place the top card of my deck, in this case, Jhudiel to the damage zone face down, then I use the skill of Narelle. I select a Jhudiel from my hand, and place it in the damage zone, and add the face down Jhudiel to my hand. Mel'ejal's skill is then activated, since I added a card to the damage zone, she gets 2000, then since my Vanguard has another copy of herself in my damage zone, I grant 2000 to Ramiel. I then call Arabhaki behind Mel'ejal."
Behind the vice-captain, a nurse appeared with a white and purple uniform color scheme appeared, and to her left, the Celestial sniper returned.
"I attack Rhombus with Broken Heart!"
The nurse smiled as her weapon started exuding electricity once more.
"Cone Magus!" The girl said using the unit to guard.
"In that case." Rekka rested Narelle. "Ramiel attacks your Vanguard!"
"No guard."
"Twin drive check! First check, nothing, second check, stand trigger! I give the power to Mel'ejal and stand Broken Heart."

As her twin blades thrummed with power she let it loose as shockwaves flew towards Stellar.
"Broken Heart attacks Rhombus!"
'She might just swing at it again.' Bella thought. 'I have another one in my hand anyway so.'
"No guard!"
The electricity this time, went through as it destroyed Rhombus, and Bella noted the small, furrowed look Rekka made.
'I knew it!' she thought.
"I attack your Vanguard with Mel'ejal!"
"No guard!" Was the reply as the arrow once more hit Stellar.

"Stand and draw." The girl said as she began her turn, before showing the card she had added with Stellar's skill. "Five sides of fate to reveal the future and protect the grandmaster of magi. Ride! Pentagonal Magus!"
As Stellar raised her wand she was replaced by a magus in a purple and green armor scheme ready to destroy her enemies.
"She who sees all, craft a new future for yourself." She began as she discarded an Ame-no-Murakumo from her hand. "Stride Generation! One who Views the Planet, Globe Magus!"
As Pentagonal appeared the stars suddenly started glowing as a being appeared, one wielding a globe with stars flying around it in orbit.
"Call!" She said as she filled her field. "Pentagonal in front of Semilunar, and Rhombus!"
As Globe Magus raised her sphere, light started to seep from it, appearing around her, which turned out carried her allies.
'If I attack with my rear-guards first, she'll use that Battle Cupid Nociel, which means…' she thought as she rested her Vanguard.
"I attack with Globe Magus! Then with her skill! I can always check the top card of my deck, including between drive checks! I'll use it right now" She said as she checked the top card before she returned it. "I use Semilunar's skill, I predict the top card, and if I'm correct, I put her to the soul and draw 2. I choose Tetra Magus!" She revealed and sure enough it was as she said.
"Wait, that means if she pulls a trigger…" The Royal Paladin player began.
"Correct, Bella can check the next card before she assigns the trigger effects." Claire finished.
"Perfect Guard!" Rekka said as she discarded a copy of Sariel.
"Triple drive!" She called out as two glowed yellow. "First check, critical all effects to Rhombus! Second check, critical, all effects to Pentagonal, third check, nothing."

As the starfall rained at Ramiel, a girl appeared to create a barrier in front of her.
"I attack with Pentagonal!"
"Battle Cupid, Nociel! Skill activated!" Rekka said. "I move Jhudiel from my hand to my damage zone, while moving the one already there to my hand. With Mel'ejal's skill, my Vanguard powers up again."
As Pentagonal charged straight at them, an angel with white wings appeared to protect Ramiel.
"Then Rhombus! I use the skill of Globe Magus to check the top card. "I predict the top card as Bell-ringing Miko, Ouka!" She called out as the top card was correct. "That gives Rhombus 5000 power."
"Generation Guard! Holy Seraph, Suriel!" Rekka called. "Suriel's skill! Counterblast!" She said as she used Landing Pegasus. "I check the top card, I place it at the bottom, I heal Landing Pegasus and Rescue check, nothing."

"Nice one Bella! You have her on the ropes!" Takeru smiled.
"Don't count me out yet!" Rekka smiled as she reset her field as she showed a card. "Breakride! The melody that will end this fight, soothe your allies while dealing harm to the enemy, Grafting Celestial, Jhudiel!"
At that lightning struck Rekka's Vanguard as the girl was replaced by a new unit, this time it was a girl with a golden blade as she looked at her opponent.
"Breakride skill! I add Prophecy Celestial Ramiel from my damage zone to my hand, I then add the top card of my deck, in this case Critical Hit Angel to the damage zone. And then my Vanguard gains 10000 power. Mel'ejal gains 2000 power, and with Generation Break, so does Broken Heart, Stride Generation!" She called out as she discarded. "Your wings shall be our road to victory, Black Seraph, Gavrail!"
In response to her call, the Stride fusion form Gavrail appeared, with her outfit more battle ready as she prepared to tear her enemies asunder.
"Gavrail's skill!" She said as she paid a counterblast using Refros and flipped up another copy of itself. "I then call Happy Bell Nociel, by placing Nociel in the soul, move a Sunny Smile Angel from my hand to the damage zone, and add Doctoroid Refros to my hand. That triggers both Mel'ejal and Broken Heart's skill again. And then I call Doctoroid Refros! With Refros' skill, counterblast, I return itself, Sunny Smile and Critical Hit Angel from my damage zone to the deck, I then shuffle it, place the top 2 cards in the damage zone face up, and draw one card." The cards added were Candle Celestial Sariel and Prophecy Celestial Ramiel. "This then triggers both Broken Heart and Melejal's skill again."
"Her power just keeps increasing." Claire observed as indeed each of Rekka's units just glowed more in power.
"Broken Heart, attack Rhombus!" Rekka said.
'Since she knows the top card of her deck is a trigger, it's better of just taking out her intercept instead so she can't power up.' The girl thought.
"No guard." the blonde replied as Rhombus was again destroyed.
"Gavrail attacks your Vanguard!"
"Perfect Guard!" Bella declared, glad that she was able to draw that with Semilunar's skill and discarded a copy of Briolette.
'Three criticals, and Hexagonal. As long as she doesn't get a critical I should be fine.' Bella thought.
"Triple drive!"

"Heal trigger!" She cheered as she healed Sariel. "I give power to Mel'ejal!"
Despite her best efforts, her attack was blocked as the barrier appeared.
"Gavrail's skill! At the end of the battle, I heal two cards, and do a rescue check for each card I healed!" She called out as she placed both Ramiel and Aniel into the damage zone. "Twin Rescue Check! First, nothing, second, Critical trigger! All effects to Mel'ejal!"

"Now that two cards have entered my damage zone in my Battle Phase, Black Seraph Gavrail's skill! For each card I added, two units I own get 2000 each. I grant a total of 4000 to both Arabhaki and Mel'ejal! Then Mel'ejal gets another 4000 with her own skill! Arabhaki boosts, Mel'ejal attacks your Vanguard!"
Bella though looked at her hand and realized she could not do anything but take it.
"No guard." She sighed as the arrows flew and struck her Vanguard Pentagonal. "Damage Check."

"I lost." The girl said.
"Of course, you're facing me, the cute Rekka, after all!" she bragged. "Anyway! Good-bye to you my number one fan! I'll see you and the others in the tournament! It's in 3 days so you better prepare!" Was all she said as she left.
"Right… I forgot that Bella was a very big fan of Rekka-san before she retired." Takeru commented.
"No one would have guess with how much they bicker though…" Sakuya muttered.
"A-anyway, the match with Leon-san is in a few days, mind helping me out?"
"Of course!"
"Why do you even ask?"
"We're with you Takeru-kun."
"Count me in as well." Bella smiled but her alarm rung. "Tomorrow, I forgot that I need to buy some food tonight!" Was all she finished with as she ran.
"Tomorrow sounds like a good idea." Satoshi commented. "That should give us some time to think."
"Then tomorrow it is."
So here we have another addition from the OG cast. We have Tatsunagi Rekka, yeah she's going to be having some important part to the story. Also there is a reason why Kourin and Suiko are present in the story but you won't see them for some time.
