Chapter 5: Back to School:(Keith's POV)

He can't believe that he has to go back to school! It was so boring that he would spend class time looking at the window, hardly paying attention to the teacher's.

Keith also can't believe that Adrien had a red plain jacket in his closet. Cause the guy doesn't seem to be into red. Along with a black shirt that had a red paw print reminding him of Cat Noir, except for the red pawprint. His jeans are plain dark blue with plain black sneakers. Keith had to admit that it looked good and that Adrien had a good fashion sense.

Better than wearing the galra jumpsuit he was in yesterday and that suit.

"Alya, Nino!" Keith hears Adrien call. He isn't interested but since Adrien is his friend now and he lives with him he might as well get to know his other friends.

Two dark skinned teenagers, although the girl is a little lighter in tone, walk towards them. They both wear glasses and the girl has orange/red hair and the boy has brown hair that is darker than his skin and is covering it with a red cap.

"Who's the new guy?" asks the girl curiously.

"I'm Keith," He gets interrupted by a girl screaming, "Adrikins!" Keith barely gets out of the blonde's way to avoid a collision. She smothers Adrien in a hug and he looks disgusted.

"Hello Chole."

"Who's the new guy?" She sneers out, as if Keith had something to offend her. Which happened with most people, except apparently Adrien, Shiro, Alya and Nino.

Keith resumes the introduction, "I'm Keith Kogane."

"Hah, Kogane! What a ridiculous last name!"

"I know that Blondie. Mind telling me your name and why you're attached to this other blondie right in front me?"

He just couldn't help it could he. Being snarky back to people. No wonder he got called the loner at his last school and at the Garrison. At least he wasn't fist fighting her right now. Which is a good thing.

The girl stutters, "Bl, blo, blondie! How dare you call me that!"

He has to suppress a laugh, why is she reacting hilariously to the nickname he gave her.

"You've got blonde hair and the typical blue eyes. You're definitely a blondie, Blondie."

She releases Adrien and walks away, presumably furious. He tends to have that effect on people. Seriously, she's the only one to get offended by his teasing or snide remarks so far.

Keith looks back to the group and sees shocked faces on all of them. Then Adriden throws himself onto him to give him a hug.

"You're so awesome, thanks for getting Chloe off my back. I know she's my childhood friend, but still. She's been mean to everyone in class and you're the only I know besides Marinette and Alya to stand up to her!"

The girl smirks, "I agree with Adrien. If I weren't in a relationship with Nino I'd have developed a small crush on you for the way you handled Chloe today! By the way I'm Ayla and the boy next to me is my boyfriend Nino."

"Nice to meet you dude,"

"Likewise."

Then Adriden grabs him, "Anyways we have to get to class right guys?" Everyone nods and Adrien leads him into the school.

It's very big and has a railing that goes around all of the upper floor that you can see in this cube school building entrance. A set of stairs leads to the upper floor that is surrounded by railing. To protect the students from falling over the ledge, he guesses. Adrien still holds on to his arm as they climb up the stairs.

Yep Adrien is definitely socially awkward, like him except in a different way.

They arrive just in time for the first bell into a classroom. Keith looks towards the desks and notices that they are all raised and can at least sit two-three people. He wonders if the desks are seated like that so that everyone can see the chalkboard the woman is writing on.

The woman is wearing a blue themed dress suit, with a blue skirt and she also has orange hair. He notices her writing his name on the board. Shoot! He forgot that he would have to introduce himself to the class. What should he say? The black bookbag Adrien gave him suddenly seems to be heavier. He hasn't had to introduce himself to people in a long time.

Other students come in and take their seats and Miss Bustier turns around, glances at him and then completely turns her attention to the student's already seated.

Another bell rings and everyone turns up to look at Miss Bustier.

"Class before we begin today's lesson I'd like to introduce another new student that will be joining us today, go on introduce yourself."

"Hi, My name is Keith Kogane. I transferred here from another school. My dad used to work as a firefighter before he died a few months ago. I am living with my cousin now and that forced me to change to a school in Paris. It will be a pleasure to meet you all!" He then smiles a little. The lie was a little truthful and a little fake.

"As if Kogane. I will not forgive you for what you called me in front of my Adrien!"

"All I did was call you blondie, Blondie. And beside Adriens not yours until he likes you back Blondie."

Chloe hisses at him and he just gives her a smile back. Why is this girl so against being called Blondie? Anyway he notices everyone giving looks of admiration. All he did was tease Chloe. Not stand up to her. There is a significant difference between teasing a girl and standing up to one. Unless Chloe thought he liked her. Which couldn't be farther from the truth. He just saw her and chose Blondie as a suitable nickname for her.

So that means she likes Adrien and by calling her by that nickname like she does with her Adrikins to Adrien she immediately thought that Keith liked her. All because he called her Blondie. Great. She wasn't offended, she was just hurt that Keith had taken interest in her before Adrien did.

Yeah.

"Alright Chloe settle down. I have another announcement. It seems that Marinette has gone missing as of yesterday. I want all of you, even you Chloe to try and find her. The police are searching for her as well as her parents and until she comes back Keith will sit with Alya."

So Marinette must be the superheroine Ladybug. Because yesterday was the day he showed up and Chat Noir told him Ladybug was missing. And if Marinette went missing on the same day that couldn't be more than just a coincidence. But Adrien, Alya and Nino don't know that.

They would just think a friend is missing and when some evil comes then they'll know that Ladybug is missing.

The rest of the school day was uneventful. He was surprised that some of the stuff he learned before going to the Garrison actually stuck with him. Which was good. Keith did not need to add to the pile of things he needs to do after school. It's already filled to the brim because of Adrien's lessons. Chinese is on Monday, Tuesday is piano, and Friday is Fencing. And then sprinkled throughout is modeling work. He has to train as a model so that will take place on Saturday's.

Keith mentally sighs, he knows nothing about Chinese. So he's probably going to have a different instructor than Adrien. Apparently it's held in the library. So he waits for Adrien outside of the hallway, not really wanting to talk to Nino and Alya. Since they think his big heroic act is teasing Chloe by calling her Blondie.

"So how'd the first day go?"

"Fine Adrien. It was boring but I got through it. Thanks for the extra bookbag. It made things easier to carry when the teachers handed out assignments."

"Good, good. Anyhow, we'd better get to Chinese lessons." Adriden says while looking at his watch.

"You do realize I'm at a different level then you so there's probably going to be two instructors and I'll have to not spend time with you like you wanted."

"Yeah but you'll catch up."

"I suppose you're right."

"I am right Keith."
