Man this took a while, but this chapter had some revisions, specifically on who gets to have a match, in the end I decided on this, I hope you enjoy it!
"So, Sakuya-chan, I have something to give you." The idol told her.
"For me? What is it?" She asked as Saya produced a small box from her pocket and gave it to her. From the way it looked, she identified it as a small case, able to fit a few cards. "Are these?"
"To commemorate our match!" She then took the other girl's hand. "Now come on, let's change back so we can hang out."
"O-ok…" the girl did not oppose as she was taken, although she texted the others that they should hang out later.
"Well, guess we're hanging out with Saya-san as well later." Takeru commented as he stood up and stretched. "But man, what a match."
"Yeah, anyway, let's get going."
Meanwhile…
"So, how do you plan on getting Miss Superior Stride to talk to us?" the girl asked.
"Simple, bait them out with Vanguard matches." He answered. "Come on, you know that that approach always worked back home."
"Yeah, but those are… well… Reversed, not…"
"I know… sorry that I brought it up."
"It's fine, it's… fine." Her tone though was not.
"Sorry for bringing it up."
"Stop, I heard you the first time… alright, let's go."
After an hour or so, Sakuya and Saya had reunited with the others.
"Great match Sakuya!" Takeru immediately congratulated.
"Thanks." She replied.
"Yeah, don't sell yourself short Sakuya-chan. You handled it quite well, other people I used that combo on they just left."
"I… see, so, where do we hang out?"
"How about we eat dinner first?" Satoshi suggested.
"Sounds good to me." Claire replied.
With that, the big group, of the Kai-Rebirth people, and then with Saya and Rekka as additional, went with them to a nearby diner to grab some food. After eating, they had decided to go to one of the nearby parks when-
"I attack your Vanguard!" The girl figure stated.
"Waaa!" A man just lost yet another one.
"Man, they're strong." A person commented.
"Eh? There's a bunch of people playing?" Sakuya watched on, now that they were in public, Saya had taken on a disguise to hide herself.
"Man! She's tough! She even uses a weird version of Luquier!" One commented, which made Rekka freeze.
"Rekka-san?" Takeru looked worried.
"Let me see." The Angel Feather player said as she looked and her face immediately paled. This Luquier had white armor and her chains were white as well. "Venus… Luquier…" She looked at the person who was using it. "You, where did you get Venus Luquier?! You know that the conditions to get that are-"
The figure, thankful that she had her mask on to cover her expression, was surprised at being approached by Rekka, and noting that Saya was with them, smiled as well.
"You know the conditions to get Venus?"
"How long… how long were you-"
"6 months…" she replied as Rekka's face turned into one of sympathy, while the others wondered why she had that reaction.
Now that there were no more fights, the crowd had immediately dispersed off the park.
"I'm, sorry to hear that…" She apologized.
"Someone explain what's going on?" Saya asked. "You know her?"
"Huh, no I don't, but… the card, well…"
"I know, you're probably going to ask for a game right?" She asked before she pocketed it. "Sorry, I'm all gamed out, my companion would love to play with you though." She said as the male figure appeared.
"Huh, alright, you and me then." The Angel Feather player said as she prepared her deck and placed her starter.
"You're not going to ask?" he began.
"I'll ask when we start the game…"
"Stand up, (The), Vanguard!" Both began, the Kai Rebirth noticing the verbal tick.
"'The,' like Kai-sensei…" Takeru noted.
"First Aid Celestial, Peniel!"
"Holy Squire, Enide!" He called out.
Behind them the units had appeared, on Rekka's side an angel, and to the male figure's side, a knight in training.
"I go first." The male figure began. "Draw, Ride! Little Liberator, Marron! I move Enide behind him, I end my turn."
Appearing in front of the squire, the Gold Paladin variant of Marron appeared, nodding to the figure as he readied his book.
"Ride!" Rekka called, bringing the attention back to the match. "Marking Celestial, Arabhaki! I move Peniel behind her, I attack your Vanguard!"
In front of Peniel, the Angel Feather symbols appeared before collapsing on each other, revealing a girl with a sniper rifle who then aimed at Marron.

"Damage check." He said as Marron got hit, Rekka's eyes widening at the card revealed.

"My turn." He did not take long as he immediately picked one card. "Ride! Knight of Light, descend! Blaster Blade Liberator, 'Luminous!'"
Appearing behind the male figure was Blaster Blade, much like Takeru's except he had a gold cape behind him as he looked at his target.
"Call." He said as he revealed three cards from his hand. "Liberator of the Flute, Escrad, Taciturn Liberator, Brennius, May Rain Liberator, Bruno."
Appearing to the left of Blaster Blade, was a man wielding a flute for a weapon while an archer was behind him, and to the right, a man wielding a bluish sword, who immediately attacked.
"Brennius!"

"Guard!" She said as she used Landing Pegasus, who appeared to block it.

"Blaster Blade attacks." Was the call as the knight jumped up.

"No guard."

As the knight hit the Celestial, who tried in vain to defend herself, a card flew to Rekka's damage zone.

"… No guard." She said as she elected to conserve her hand, the musician using his instrument to harm the sniper.

"Escrad's skill." He said as he paid a counterblast. "I superior call the top card of my deck, Josephus, I soulblast to draw 1. I end my turn."

"Stand and draw." Rekka began. "Ride! Rear Impetus Celestial, Armaiti!" She began as she immediately moved Arabhaki out of her soul. "Skill activated! I superior call Broken Heart, I place the top card of my deck into my damage zone face down." The card was Black Record Israfil.
Standing in the field, Arabhaki was covered as now she was covered in feathers before a man with a giant injection gun appeared, to the right a girl with a defib unit as a weapon, and to the left a woman with the same uniform as Broken Heart but uses two swords instead.
"I call! Black Slice, Harut! Harut attacks your Vanguard." The swordswoman then began their attack.

"Intercept!" He said using Brennius who jumped in front of Blaster Blade to protect them.
"Peniel, a little help." Rekka began.
"Yes, my Vanguard." The unit replied as she supported Armaiti, who aimed.
"No guard."
"Drive Check… critical trigger!" She smiled.
(Drive Check- Hot Shot Celestial, Samyaza- Critical)
"Nice!" The others cheered as the weapon fired, however, the edge of the beam, hit the mask the figure was wearing, breaking it, as Rekka and the others looked in shock.
"Wait… is that…" Claire looked confused.
"H-he, he looks like me!"
"Welp, looks like the jig is up." He said as he fully removed it, showing his facial features, and while barely noticeable, his hair has a brighter shade of blue than Takeru's. Meanwhile, the female figure revealed herself as well, revealing that aside from having yellow hair, she's the exact look alike of Sakuya.
"Wait… d-doppelganger?" Takeru asked in shock.
"Wait… does that mean-"
"No there are no lookalikes of you." The female figure answered as if reading Claire's mind, as the girl sighed in relief.
"Who, who are you?" Rekka asked.
"I will tell you, after we finish this match." The Takeru look alike said as he revealed two damage.

"Heal trigger, I give the power to Blaster Blade."
"R-right…" The Angel Feather player focused herself and rested her rear-guard. "Broken Heart, attack… Escrad!" She called out.

"No guard." He replied as he retired his unit. Realizing that there is no use to guard it.

Saya though, looked as if she had entered a daze, wondering why this person seemed familiar to her.
'Do I… know him?' she thought.
"Stand and draw." He began as he placed the card on his Vanguard circle. "Ride! Solitary Knight, Gancelot!"
As that happened, Blaster Blade raised his weapon as he was replaced by the Solitary Knight in Golden armor, readying his weapon.
"I call Blaster Blade and Brennius. Blaster Blade's skill," He said as he paid a counterblast. "I retire one of your grade 2 or higher rear-guards, I retire Broken Heart."
Rekka then grit her teeth a bit as she retired the unit, knowing that she got disrupted in more ways than one.
Appearing to the left is Blaster Blade, who pointed his weapon at the defib holding nurse who got disintegrated when the lightning hit them, and in front of the sickle wielding knight, was Brennius who returned.
"Josephus boosts, Brennius attacks your Vanguard!"

"Nociel guards!" Rekka declared. "Skill activated, I put Black Bomber Maalik from my hand to the damage zone and then add Israfil to my hand."

"Nice, now Rekka-san has a perfect guard." Sakuya smiled as the angel generated a barrier to stop the rear Gancelot from attacking.
"Then my Vanguard attacks!"

"No guard." She called out.
"Twin drive." He began.
(Drive Check- Physical Force Liberator, Zorron)

"Critical trigger, power to Blaster Blade, critical to Gancelot."
As the knight struck forward, Rekka reached for her deck, showing two none triggers.

"Enide's skill, I move him to the soul, I draw one card, I attack with Blaster Blade."

"… No guard." She decided as this time Blaster Blade attacked Armaiti.

"Stand and draw." Rekka began.
'Alright, let's see what this kid can do.' She thought as she placed her card.
"Ride, Grafting Celestial, Jhudiel! And then," She selected a Ramiel from her hand. "Stride Generation! Holy Celestial, Mikhael."
As the angel appeared, she merely clasped in prayer, as a new angel with the signature Celestial look appeared, she was wearing what seemed to be a blue chief nurse outfit, as needles flew around her.
"Stride skill!" She said as she immediately shot out Armaiti from her soul. "I add a card from my deck to my damage zone and heal a card. I add Broken Heart to my damage zone. I heal Ramiel, and then I use Peniel's skill!" She continued putting the card into her damage zone. "I superior call Narelle, behind Harut, and then place the top card of my deck into my damage zone." She said adding a copy of Mel'ejal face down. "Then with the skill of Narelle, by placing a copy of Broken Heart in my damage zone from my hand, I add Mel'ejal to my hand. I then call her behind my Vanguard."
As behind Harut, a nurse had arrived to support her, and an archer appeared behind Mikahel, the Celestial smiled, as if saying it is not over yet.
"Mikhael's skill!" She said as the unit's wings started glowing. "Counterblast. I put the top card of my deck into my damage zone." She said adding a copy of Maalik. "I then superior call Broken Heart, then since I have another copy of Jhudiel in my damage zone, she gets 5000 power. Harut then attacks your Vanguard, skill activated!" She said as she paid a counterblast before checking the top 2 cards, placing Arabhaki in the damage zone. "I superior call Maalik." She called out placing her behind Broken Heart. "She gets a Rescue."

To the right, Broken Heart returned before a nurse with a green uniform and pink hair appeared behind her.
"No guard."

"I attack your Vanguard with Mikhael! Since I called a card with Harut's skill, Mel'ejal's skill activates, she gets 2000, and then, since there is a card in my damage zone with the same name as a card on my Vanguard circle, that's another 2000 power. And another 2000 from Broken Heart."

The needles then went straight at Gancelot, making the unit scream in pain as the figure felt it as his eyes started glowing.

"Perfect Guard." He said as he discarded Gwydion.
A man then raised his hand as a blue shield was created, so the nurse did not press her attack.
"Maalik's skill…" She said as she selected the face down Mel'ejal she used for Harut's cost and threw it into the damage zone. "I rescue check one…" She said and beamed when she saw it glow blue.
"Nice! Rekka-hime got a stand trigger!" Bella cheered.
(Rescue Check- Happy Bell, Nociel- Stand)
"Stand trigger! I give all effects to Broken Heart. She gets 2000 power as well! I'm counting on you, Broken Heart!" The nurse, smiling at that, just went forward.
"Yes ma'am!"

"Guard!" He immediately replied. "Epona, Josephus, Blaster Blade intercepts."
As the nurse approached, the three units appeared to put a stop to her offense as she reluctantly retreated.
"I… end my turn."

"Thanks."
"Rekka… your name is it… Suiko-san mentioned you…" At that it was Rekka who widened her eyes.
"Su-san, you know-"
"… My name is Jude. And the girl is Iris." He introduced. "We have come here to validate something, and the best way to do so, is this!" He said as he revealed the card he added to his hand. "I call upon the light that shines in even the darkest nights! The Solitary Knight who fights for peace!" He began as he slammed the card on his Vanguard circle. "Breakride! Liberator of Peace, Gancelot 'Luminous!'"
"Luminous?" Rekka wondered. First the new Blaster Blade, and then the new Gancelot, could he be…
As Gancelot's armor changed, the others noted how its armor, while close to its Zenith form has his golden sword appear to be made of energy instead as it radiated brightly.
"Breakride skill! I give 10000 power to my Vanguard. And 5000 to three rear guards. "I call Zorron behind my Vanguard and then use Gancelot's skill!" He said as he showed a second Gwydion that he placed into the soul. "I check the top 2 cards, and superior call one of them. I select Ketchgal Liberator, and then with his skill, I put him at the bottom of the deck, check the top 3 cards, and superior call a card from among them, I choose Blaster Blade." He decided as he then shuffled his deck as is the second part of Ketchgal's skill.
Once more the knights are empowered, this time, Zorron appeared behind wielding his book to support Gancelot as to the left Blaster Blade appeared and once more, he aimed at Broken Heart.
"Again, I retire Broken Heart." He continued with a counterblast.
"And it's done." Iris smiled.
"What do you mean?" Sakuya asked her look alike.
"You'll see."
"I attack your Vanguard with Brennius!"

"Samyaza guards, and I intercept with Broken Heart!" She called as her units barely blocked the attack.
"Gancelot attacks your Vanguard." He began. "And then, break through the limits! Limit Break!" He called as the Vanguard circle appeared in front of him. "Counterblast and soulblast! My entire front row gains 3000 for every Liberator I have until the end of turn."
"There's 6 right now, that's 18000!" Satoshi noted

"Perfect guard!" Rekka called.
"Twin drive!"

"Stand trigger! I give all effects to Brennius, and then…" he said as he smiled, Rekka realizing what was about to happen. "Surpassing even the broken limit, Ultimate Break!"
When he said that though, Saya started clutching her head painfully.
"Saya-chan!" Sakuya immediately took notice as she made it to the girl. "Are you ok? Do we need to-"
"NO!" The idol said with a bit more force. "L-let me… let me finish this…" She said as she forced herself to watch, her head hurting, but in her thoughts feeling that this is something she should watch.
"It seems that we were correct Iris." Jude began before he continued. "The Ultimate Break's effect, I discard two cards, and I return two Liberator cards." He said as he chose both Zorron and Josephus. "I place the two on the bottom of the deck, Gancelot stands!"
"Since his Vanguard is standing, that means that Rekka-san can't do anything with two cards in her hand." Takeru pointed out.
"I attack with my Vanguard again!"
"… No guard." She said.
"Twin drive."

As the knight raised his weapon, Rekka made a resigned face as she revealed the top card.
(Damage Check- Grafting Celestial, Jhudiel)
At that her unit was cut down as she placed it on her damage zone, signifying her loss.
"I lose."
"It seems that we were very successful." Jude noted as he noticed Saya reacting.
"What did you do to her?!" Sakuya demanded.
"Nothing." Iris replied. "It is merely that Jude showing the Ultimate Break did what it was supposed to do, miss Saya had indeed been to our place."
"Yes… and in that place, she was one of the people who helped destroy it, saying that-" The Gold Paladin player couldn't finish as Saya just shouted out of nowhere.
"WHAT THEY DID WAS NOT A NOBLE GESTURE! THEY WERE MONSTERS WHO DESTROYED THE LIVES OF PEOPLE THERE!" She uncharacteristically shouted.
"I… I did not expect you to have that reaction." He admitted. "But it matters not, we will see each other soon."
"… And how will we do that then?" Rekka muttered.
"Oh, don't worry, based on what happens, we won't find you. She'll find us." Iris explained as she then left with the other player, leaving them there.
"Well, we can't just leave her here, and she can't head back to the Esuka group alone based on her reaction." Bella commented.
"Yeah, how about she stays with me then?" Sakuya offered.
"You sure?" The Angel Feather player asked.
"I'm sure, besides, I think I'm the only one she's closest to right now, I'll be fine."
"Ok." The older girl nodded before she began talking again. "And a favor from all of you." At her serious voice everyone looked. "Do NOT mention any of this thing to anyone, if this is what I think it is, it's bigger than all of us. And we need Takuto to help."
"Didn't you just say not to mention to anyone?" Satoshi inquired.
"Takuto knows about this… Leon too. That will be it, since we're closest to the Yamato's they can split up from us here, but for the rest of you, I'm bringing you home personally."
