Well after that stressful lineup! Now we get to the next part! Takeru vs Akemi! Hope you guys enjoy!

"Alright!" Akemi cheered. "Now that the matches are over! Takeru-san! Let's play!"
"Huh, really?" He asked.
"Yeah! I even brought my deck too!"
"Well… ok." He nodded as Takuto observed.
'How fortunate, to see the Singularity's daughter in action.' The concert master thought as Claire and the others moved to the side to watch.
"Huh what's this?" The Royal Paladin player asked as his device sync'd with Akemi and showed a new thing. "Ride… deck?"
"Huh? You don't have one here? I thought Claire nee-chan was just being nice to me, we always have it where we are." The young girl explained. "Where we're from, we have a ride deck that basically ensures that you'll be able to ride properly every turn, but you'll have to discard a card from your hand."
"That… is interesting." Takuto noted. "We should probably implement that into our rulings."
"Well, since that's the case, I'm going to try it as well then." The Blaster player then added specific cards to their ride deck before placing it separate from their main deck.
"You ready Akemi?"
"Yep!" The girl replied as she placed her hand on her starter.
"Stand up, Vanguard!" They began as the field branched out to show their starters. The field though was a steam punk area with a small blue dragon appearing opposed by a sage.
"Guidepost Sage, Elron!"
"Chrono Dran!" The girl beamed.
"Chrono Dran?"
"Yep! It's my starter. You go first Takeru nii-chan!"
"Ok." He nodded as he drew a card. "Alright, let's try this out… I discard Margal, and I superior ride Sicilus from my ride deck." He said and at his word, Elron moved back to the bottom left as a knight with a small sword appeared. "Oh that's cool. Ok I end my turn."
"My turn then!" The girl began. "I draw one card, and I discard Luckypot from my hand, and I superior ride Bearing Rover from my deck." As she called this out the small dragon was replaced by another dragon who seemed like an older Dran. "I move Dran behind my Vanguard, and boosted they attack your Vanguard."

"No guard." Takeru replied.

"Stand and draw." Takeru said as he discarded Bedivere from his hand. "Stand up, my avatar, Blaster Blade!" He called placing it on his Vanguard circle as the knight gave a bow before the champion of United Sanctuary appeared. "Alright, call!" He noted as he called Kay in the bottom right. "With Kay's skill, I superior call Bedivere from my deck, and I call Wingal Brave behind my Vanguard." He noted as a high beast appeared behind Blaster Blade with it holding a blade's hilt with its jaws. "Alright, Blaster Blade! You go first! I get a critical by the way." He called as the knight came towards them.
"Oh, hmmm…" The girl noted. "Well, it's 18000 power right? No guard!" She ended up chirping as the knight stabbed the dragon.

"Draw trigger!" She smiled. "Give the power to Bearing Rover please!" She said as her Vanguard powered up.
"I use the skill of Wingal Brave, I look at the top 7 cards of my deck, and add a Blaster to my hand, but there is none in the top 7." He noted as he returned the cards to his deck and shuffled. "I attack with Bedivere!"
"Heart Thump Worker, help please!" She said as the machine appeared and blocked the attack.
"I guess that's it then, I end my turn."

She called as the dragon was replaced by a girl looking at the knight in a curious manner as if studying them. "I use the skill of Irkab." She paid a counterblast before discarding an Ur-Watar from her hand. "I give my Vanguard an extra drive check."
"Twin drive at turn 2?" Takeru replied shocked.
"Not just that, she hasn't even called anything yet." Claire noted.
"Yep! And that's what I'm going to do Claire nee-chan!" The girl followed suit and called Ur-ningin and Kalibum, as to the left of the girl a steam fighter was carrying a steampunk cannon and another gears. "Kalibum's skill, I send Elron to the bottom of your deck!" She smiled as the grade 0 flew to the bottom of the deck. "In exchange, you can choose to superior call a card of a grade lower than it."
"Since Elron is a grade 0… I can't do anything." He realized as he shuffled his deck.
"I attack your Vanguard with Kalibum!"
"I'll guard that." He declared as he threw another Wingal Brave from his hand to guard.
"Alright, next up, my Vanguard's turn!"
"Twin drive… no guard."
"Twin drive check."

He finished as the king appeared, with his weapon slammed to the ground waiting for the command to attack. "I'll now add an Imaginary Gift, Force, to the front left circle" He noted as the Vanguard symbol appeared on Alfred.
"So that's what the Imaginary Gift is…" the girl smiled.
"Yep, they get 10000 power during my turn too." He said before paying a counterblast. "Now with Alfred Early's skill, I pay a counterblast, and superior call to the front left, Blaster Blade. I then draw a card, and he gets 10000 as well." He finished as the knight appeared at the same time as he removed it from his soul. "I retire Kalibum" He said as he paid the cost.
"That at least gets rid of the intercept." Satoshi noted.
"I then call Knight of Truth Gordon behind Blaster Blade." He noted as the knight appeared behind the other testing their weapons' effectivity. "With his skill he gets Boost as well, while at the same time, all of my Blaster Blade units get 5000 power. I then attack your Vanguard with Bedivere boosted by Kay." He noted as the two knights went forth.
"Ok, I'll guard that!" She smiled as she placed the heal she got to guard it.
"Ok, I attack with my Vanguard."
"No guard then."

"Oh, I guess I'm in a bind huh?" The girl asked with a smile as she drew a card. "It's ok! I'm going to make it back!" She noted as she discarded another Luckypot. "Ride! Chronojet Dragon!" She called out as the card was placed, smiling fondly as she looked at it as the dragon appeared ready to fight.
'Yep, there's his card alright.' Takuto thought as he saw her discard a copy of Steam Breath.
"Alright! Stride Generation!" She called out. "Interdimensional Beast, Metallica Phoenix! Stride skill! I put Blaster Blade on the bottom of your deck! And with Ur-ningin's skill I countercharge one." She beamed as Takeru's card was sent to the bottom as the phoenix looked at it. "Alright, call!" She smiled as she used all the cards in her hand. "Heart Thump Worker, History Maker Dragon, Steam Maiden Melem!" She said as in front of the Steam fighter a yellow dragon wielding a sword, as to the right of Metallica, a girl with a board with Heart Thump behind them.
"She used up her entire hand?" Sakuya wondered.
"I attack your Vanguard with Melem! Skill activated, power plus 4000!"
"I'll intercept with Bedivere." He replied as the knight came forward to block the bullets shot.
"Melem's skill! I send her to the bottom of the deck, and I superior call Steam Battler Ur-Watar in a rest position." She replied. "I attack your Vanguard with Metallica Phoenix. Skill activated! I move Heart Thump to my soul, draw and give my Vanguard 5000 power." At that a copy of Metapulsar Huang Long was flipped face up.
'Metapulsar, Huang Long?' Takeru thought, not seeing the card before.
"I time leap Ur-Watar, and I superior call Steam Maiden Mesh-Kia from my deck." The girl with pink hair smiled as she pointed to Ur-Watar. "His skill activates too, when he gets bound, I put him on the bottom of my deck, I draw two cards, I return one of the cards in my hand to the deck and I shuffle." She said as she looked at one of the cards she drew and returned it, and after shuffling her deck. "I then use Mesh-Kia's skill, I draw one card and give 4000 to History Maker."
"No guard." Takeru replied.
"Triple drive!"

"Critical trigger! I give the power to History Maker, and critical to Metallica." She said as the phoenix was enveloped in flames.

"Stand trigger!" She noted. "I stand Mesh-Kia, and give the power to her."

'Oh that sucks…' he thought.
"I attack your Vanguard with History Maker." She added as she paid a counterblast. "I time leap Chrono Dran." She said as she bound the card and revealed a grade 1 in her deck. "I superior call another Mesh-Kia, and with Dran's skill, I put him in the soul, and I superior call Chronojet Dragon from my deck, then with the skill of the new Mesh-Kia I called, I give History Maker another 4000."
"34000…" Takeru looked at his hand, and realizing he still has a lot of cards opted to let it through. "No guard."

"I attack with Chronojet Dragon." She called as the unit got ready to throw a punch at Alfred.
"Generation guard." He called out. "Great Flash, Iseult." He replied before he added Margal as the two units appeared and blocked the attack.
"Alright, I end my turn." The girl ended with a chirp. "I return Chronojet Dragon to my hand, and I return both Mesh-Kia's to the bottom of my deck, I end my turn."

"Amazing." Sakuya could only comment. "She not only brought him to 5 damage, but even doubled her initial hand size." Meanwhile though, Takuto had looked into the corner, and noted a man with spiky red hair watching as he snuck away from the others to meet them however, Saya noticed as well so she followed.
"Stand and draw." He said as he began his turn.
'That was way too close.' He thought. 'I'm glad I was able to get a heal trigger into my hand so I could guard that but… now I have to end it!' He could only think this as he saw the Blaster Blade he got.
"Stride, Generation!" He said as he discarded Alfred Early as the knight raised their weapon upwards. "Alfred Holy Saver!" He said as the light engulfed his vanguard before it stopped as Alfred now had a mount and a more regal appearance. "I call Floral Paladin Flogal and Blaster Blade!" He said as his field was now prepared. "I use the effect of Holy Saver!" He said as he paid a counterblast and flipped up a copy of it, he then continued it by discarding Margal from his hand. "I give Blaster Blade 3000 and the ability to Twin Drive. Now Flogal, attack History Maker!" He said as the high beast rammed the dragon as the girl elected to not guard. "I now attack your Vanguard."
"Perfect guard!" Akemi smiled as she discarded a card from her hand.
"Triple drive!"

As the attack was blocked Takeru immediately rested his next rear-guard as the knight charged at Akemi's vanguard.
"Blaster Blade goes forth!"
"That's just 33000 without the Twin Drive and the boost." Sakuya noted. "And Akemi has to deal with it standing too."
"Not exactly." Akemi interrupted the Bermuda Triangle player's words as she discarded a heal trigger she got from the combo earlier. "Generation Guard! Interdimensional Dragon, Heteroround Dragon!" She said as the dragon appeared blocking Blaster Blade's attack.
"Heteroround?" He wondered.
"Skill activated! I pay a soulblast, and then I send one of your rear-guards to the bottom of your deck!" She replied as Takeru's eyes widened as his attacking unit was sent back. "In exchange, Takeru nii-chan, you get to superior call the top card of your deck after it was shuffled."
"I… see…" He said as he flipped the top card of his deck to show Tarna as the sage appeared to fight. "In this case, Tarna attacks your Vanguard."
"No guard." She immediately replied.

"Alright, my turn again!" She beamed as she drew a card. "Stride Generation! Dragon who commands time, show yourself! Chronodragon, Gear Groovy!"
"Hold up… what?" Takeru could just look in utter shock as he saw what seemed to be another evolved Chronojet.
'First, a card that can send my rear-guards to the bottom, now this? What does this guy do now?' he thought.
"Stride skill! You're going back to the deck Tarna." She said with a wave as the unit was pulled into a vortex. "I countercharge with Ur-Ningin again. And now call!" She said as she once again filled her field except the back row. "History Maker Dragon, Steam Fighter, Ur-Ningin, Upstream Dragon." She finished as the units appeared at her orders. "I also use the skill of Gear Groovy, I pay a soulblast and flip up a copy of Nextage to give my Vanguard 5000 power, and then, I use Gear Groovy's skill!" She smiled as she turned another copy of it face up. "I get both the skills of Huang Long and Nextage!"
"Say what?!" Sakuya had a face of disbelief.
"So now I have to handle the effects of two G-units…" Takeru noted.
"Upstream goes first!" She began. "Skill activated, I give it 4000 power and another skill at the end of the battle."
"Guard." Takeru replied using the Gordon in his hand to guard.
"At the end of the battle, I use Upstream's skill. I send it to the deck and I superior call Steam Maiden Melem in the open bottom right circle in a rest state. I then send an attack to your Vanguard with History maker." She said before paying yet another counterblast. "I time leap Melem! I superior call Upstream Dragon." She added before waiting for Takeru's response.
"…. No guard." He replied as he took a damage check.
(Damage Check- Yggdrassil Maiden, Elaine- Heal)
"Heal trigger." He made a smile of relief as he healed a card. "I give the power to Alfred!"
"In that case, Gear Groovy attacks your Vanguard." She smiled as she did not boost the attack.
"Perfect guard!"
"Alright, triple drive!"

"Draw trigger! I draw one card, and power to Upstream."

"At the end of the battle, I use the effect Gear Groovy got from Huang Long." She said as she paid a counterblast. "I superior call Melem from the bind zone. Then I use Nextage's skill." She said as she paid a counterblast flipped up another copy of Nextage and discarded the 3 cards she drive checked. "I send Gear Groovy to the G-zone, and I stand Chronojet Dragon."
'That's two more attacks…'
"Ur- Ningin boosts! Go Chronojet! Generation Break 2! Power plus 5000 and you can't guard with Grade 1 or higher… but the last card in your hand is the critical."
'Even if I guard this attack, I have to settle for Upstream which now has enough power to hit me.' He thought.
"No guard again."

And as Takeru did his damage check, it was not a heal.

"I lose." He said with a smile. "You were really great Akemi."
"Thanks!" The girl smiled. "Hey, where's Mr forehead guy?"
"Forehead guy?" The Kai Rebirth people lagged a bit to response but realized. "Takuto…"
"Actually, where is he?" Satoshi added.
"Yeah, and Saya's gone too…" Sakuya noted.
"We're here…" Takuto said as he was accompanied by Saya who instead of going to Sakuya and the others, immediately went straight to Akashi and the other Try Angel members, who when after she explained whatever it was, had the three idols nodding in understanding and telling her to accompany them back.
"Where did you two go?"
"We saw someone enter…" was all he said before he looked at Akemi. "Here Akemi, this is for you."
"Huh, why would-" The girl's eyes widened as she immediately saw the letter he was holding, and with it, the handwriting. "Daddy's writing!" She replied, immediately taking the letter, reading it before crying for a bit.
"What did it say?" Takeru asked but was elbow'd by Satoshi. "Oww…"
"Not the right time bro."
After she stopped crying, Akemi made a small smile.
"The letter was from daddy, it said that I'm going to be here for a while, and said that I'm with good people, and that hopefully next time mama will be here…" The girl explained. "That's good too! Any second away from Val-baka is good!"
"Uhhh… ok?" Satoshi said as he pat her head. "In that case, until your dad returns we're going to watch over you ok?"
"Yep!" The girl replied before she pocketed the letter, not mentioning the final bit there.
"Akemi, whatever you do, you need to hide Formido. Do not let anyone know you have it, not yet."
"So now that it's done, what do we do?" Takeru asked.
"Well, we could hang out?" Sakuya asked.
"We kinda can't." Rekka added. "Takuto has to bring Saya back to the Tatsunagi Building, I don't know what happened but she seemed rattled."
"I'll go with you then!" Bella replied.
"Well, I guess it's just us 4 then." Takeru noted as the three other Kai Rebirth students nodded.

Finally! This small arc is done, a lot of the headache was with the other Kai Rebirth matches, so I apologize for skipping them once again. Next up, the POV will be focused on whatever it was Saya approached Try Angel for. Anyway that's pretty much it, see you next time!
