Chapter 27: Le Hibou Noir Part 1:Introduction(Adrein's POV)
Adrein walks out of fencing practice. His teacher had berated him for not giving his all today. It's not like he didn't want to, but Keith wasn't there, because of his ankle, and Kagami was more stoic and didn't seem to be able to have fun practicing, period.
It also sucked because he misses Marinette and his other friends(even though Alya and Nino were being rude to Keith for him saving Chloe, which is so weird and dumb).
And the party didn't help either, it just reminded Adrien that Marinette has disappeared and might be coming back, no matter what.
It had just drained the life out of him, not to mention Keith getting kidnapped by Marinette's grandmother who confused Keith for her. And then having to fight her without Marmora's help, and another thing, where the hell is Marmora? Like HOneybee said he was injured, but he didn't fight Riposte with us, and the akuma they faced together last as a group was Gigantitan.
So all of that weight on Adrien's shoulders, he was so tired. And he has to be the leader of the group too because Ladybug is also missing.
So all he wanted to do was go home and relax, but no fate had other plans in the form of Adrein seeing someone dressed up as a Owl superhero. Which made alarm bells go off. Who is that person? Doesn't he know that being a superhero is dangerous, especially since Ladybug's Lucky Charm can't heal any injuries, or damage done to buildings since Ladybug is missing.
The only thing Cataclysming akuma can do is reverse the akumas' effect on people and the person itself. That's it.
So who is the idiot dressing up as an Owl superhero only to get himself hurt, or worse.
Adrien follows the man, or woman to see where she/he is going. "Kid, why are we following that Owl thing?" asks Plagg, his head poking out of his pocket.
"Because he or she is probably going to cause trouble and we don't need that."
"What about this Owl person makes you think that?"
"I've never seen him before and you haven't said anything about an Owl superhero in Paris and neither has the person who gave me you in the first place."
Plagg responds, "Let's get Master Fu's opinion before you follow someone who is probably just playing dress up."
"No Plagg, I have to see what they are capable of first."
"Give me Camembert first!" Plagg demands. "No! Not until the Owl hero stops wherever it is going."
Plagg grumbles, but Adrien ignores it.
The Owl hero stops in front of a woman who is freaking out. And he knows why, a pure white, snowball, looking cat is stuck up in the tree. He gives Plagg his cheese and Adrien watches from the bushes as every attempt fails, and eventually he hears a snap from the branches.
"Plagg claws out!" he whispers, not wanting to draw attention to himself. Then he rushes out of the bushes and saves the Owl Hero, who is holding the kitten from falling.
The Owl Hero is heavy so Adrien lets it down, trying not to drop it.
"Chat Noir I could have handled that myself," it replies a little annoyed.
"But you could have hurt yourself. Next time don't do these sort of things before you end up hurt,"
"But it's in my blood! I am The Hibou! A superhero like you and Honeybee and that Tiger fellow! I am one of you!" Hibou's chest puffs proudly, unaware that Adrien was giving him a confused look.
"Uh, huh. Just be careful next time."
Authors Note: Yes this is just the introduction to Monsieur Damocles' shenanigans as The Hibou. As a result the next chapters will focus on Voltron and then it will go to part two of the Le Hibou Noir mini arc.
